I think I saw 4 or 5 episodes of Waikiki~ I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw a failure for that one🤣

Thanks for making this thread. I need to vent out about the first and only K-drama which I watched and now the after effect is such that I am reluctant to start any new k-drama.

I am sure I will sound horribly biased in this post amd it may be very long so you can ignore/skip it as I want to let this experience get lost from my brain. Let me see if this helps.

Some of you might know the answer as I have complained about it earlier.

And that superb show is:

CRASH LANDING ON YOU

The show started off with with beautiful aesthetics which were hard to ignore. Plus, a person like me who has seen only Indian shows which are made with heavy cost cuts unless there is wedding taking place. So, it was new for me and I was excited. I sang its praises.

But as I reached the end of the show I realised that I don't like the show at all. Infact, I hate it. I even wrote a review but it was very very very diluted version of what I felt. Didn't want my bias to show in it.

There were few saving graces in the show like North Korean soldiers here and there, the old ladies of the hero's village (I forgot hero's character name. But no surprises there) who were funny and that character called "Rat" and Seo-Dan & Seung-jun and Seo-Dan's mother.

Coming to Seri and Hero ( I don't remember character's name), the starting of their story was good. Atleast for me. There were nice and funny elements in the start. Later their story became like a chewing gum. Stretching endlessly (and totally tasteless). I fastforwaded like more than half of the times when their faces showed up on screen. After episode 8, I don't think I haven't watched any of their scenes fully.

The whole villain arc was uncalled for. I mean I don't know what was the purpose. I didn't like it. I mean they could have shown some better story about hero's brother's death. I don't understand why it was there.

Now, my achilles' heels: Seung-jun and Seo-Dan's story. I hated the hero the moment he asked for Seung-jun from Seo-Dan a few months after his death. I mean he was quick to ask of help when he needed it but never ever thought of asking anything about him. It was honestly painful.

May be it was more painful for me because I felt no connection with the hero's or for the matter of fact with Seri's sob stories. They were too much in the face that I couldn't appreciate them. But Seung-jun's story was cliche (so were those of Seri and hero) but it was subtle or may be it felt suble to me.

Honestly I want to rant a lot about it. A lot about how Seo-Dan got a raw deal in the end. How Seung-jun deserved a good life, a better life. But I will make peace with the fact that Seung-jun knew that someone will cry after his death and Seo-Dan realised that running after the hero is useless and how it feels to know that someone you like, likes you back.

Idk which aesthetics you are referring to. The first episode was pretty mild in my eyes 🤣 Kidding! I think it was pretty, I just don't remember much LMAO. Bad memories shoo shoo

I'm jealous you got to watch it (even though you hated it lmao) I REALLY wanted to, but idk what was wrong with episode 1! It just wouldn't let me pass to the next one fkdjdvjdf *sadddd*

I think I fast-forwarded at least 2 episodes 😆 As in put it on x2 speed while watching 😆 I didn't get into the show until the 3-4th episode. After which it was daebak!😆

Tho I do agree this scene was brutal for my soul too. I fall for this two goofy little love birds. If only FL had faith in 4th Prince and NOT in her future vision, they would have survived!

LOL half of the Kdrama fans dislike her with passion and the other half worship her like a goddess 🤣🤣

I mostly drop series coz of bad acting and horrible hairstyles. I just hate when their hair cover whole forehead🤢

1) Boys over flowers - Can't move beyond 1st epi coz of LMH hairstyle. Also like some one else said about lead actress. She was
