It is quite famous actually. It received a lot of appreciation from viewers and critics when it aired, though the ratings weren't very high. But I get what you mean. It's not as famous as some other dramas with International viewers. Some people just don't prefer the genre.

Even I don't prefer melodramas. It wasn't popping up in my recs like some other dramas I had to search it up.

Finished watching Chicago Typewriter. It started off weird but fell in love very soon. Highly recommended!

Hana Kimi (Taiwan) : It was funny,liked the second lead more. But they dragged it alot in the middle and didnt like the ending.

But the first few epis were really funny.

(Japanese Ver) : I tried this too but didn't have the patience to watch it full coz I already watched the TW version but many said this version was more funny so watched the funny scenes in YT and YES its really funny.😆

Hana Yori Dango : GODDD why I didn't watch this beforee? I delayed watching it cause I saw BOF and thought it has the same story so no use of watching it but this version is ❤️

First let me talk about the FL, she was strong and brave not like geum jandi,I disliked her character but Makino 👍🏼. Now coming to ML domyouji, he was a jerk,funny and dumb 😆. His random OI! has to be my fav.The bromance A+, The chemistry A+, Acting A+.

Season 2: It was about the fiance and amnesia track. It was nice too but not more than season 1. But the scene between domyouji and makino's small bro was beautiful.

The movie: The finale. The island part was beautiful. And I didn't like and never got SLS in any of the versions but here at the end I felt so bad for the Second lead.

Highly Recommended.

The punch scene and this scene were my fav.

Whats the hype with WWW Secretary Kim? The leads chemistry is ok not as good as his previous Fight my way/witch or her healer chemistry. There basically is no plot. Still @ Episode 12 but don't like it enough to finish it. It has 100s of Mann-Geet, Arnav -Khushi type falling, staring slow motion scenes. Now the leads are said to be in a dating scandal and how the female got picked bcos her BF wanted her to be the lead.

I think the main reason is romcom's have been pretty scarce recently. This one has good looking leads who can act plus there's skinship so it's hitting the sweet spot. If this was made a few years ago there wouldn't have been so much hype IMO.

Since BOF was my very first kdrama I loved it..And watched many times..But Yes HYD was also the best..And I loved it equally!!! The leads chemistry were amazing here..And Jun Matsumoto played Domyouji Tsukasa outstandingly..Many people love this version more than BOF..

I felt the movie was a bit boring..

BTW they are remaking it in Chinese.. "Meteor Garden 2018".. Its ongoing..Its pretty amazing too as they made many changes to suit today's audience!!!

Yup the movie was lil boring but I loved the island part like how they didn't give up and started liking each other more.

I an watching the chinese version but the pineapple head is very immature and Shanchai is always confused. I loved HYD more cause of makino. She was strong and I never felt that her character is weak but in Jandi and Shanchai's case I felt that.

And there is so many manhandling scenes in the Chinese( H e forcefully kiss her 🤢 ) and in Korean version. Maybe cause they followed the manga,glad that japanese version didn't have such scenes.And another problem with Chinese dramas is dubbing.

Btw dylan is really good looking.😳

I am totally obsessed over Meteor Garden 2018!!! Since I saw BOF and HYD quite a long back like back in 2014..I am loving the freshness here!!!

On forceful kiss..It seems in cdrama its a must..From what few cdramas I saw there is at least one scene like that..You should check out MG 2001..I checked few scenes after starting MG 2018..It is more worst..Be it bullying or such scenes!!! Compared to it MG 2018 is bit lame even those forceful kiss scenes..Seems there they have strict censorship..Like can't show class divide, bullying, etc for public tv dramas!!!

On dubbing..Since artists have different accent/slang they had to dub..It happens in almost every cdramas!!! Dilreba's voice dubbing in Sweet Dreams is worst!! lol

Ya..Dylan Wang is good looking..And so is Shen Yue!!! I love their off-screen bonding too..Bullying each other!!! 😆😆😆
