I liked this drama, even if it wasn't the best. But overall, it left me feeling a bit unsatisfied in the end because it was Team PHR-LJS and I expected so much more. I am sad that this probably Jongsuk's last K-drama before he enlists, and he didn't have a clean hit. It was not flawless by any means, but I think the drama got more criticisms than it deserved because the expectations were so high, even finding flaws where it didn't exist.
What I loved was the characters (except YB of course) , the actors and the chemistry. I always end up loving the supporting cast to pieces in any PHR show. LJS is my first and original love, but I am so glad this drama gave me Jung Hae In who is adorable af. Heaven knows how much I despised Suzy's acting in the past, but she exceeded my expectations and was very likable here. Loved the friendship between the three flying dragons and their licking off yogurt from the cap. Kim Won Hae was brilliant and So was Lee Sang Yeob. The OST is beautiful.
What I didn't like was how the dreams became less and less in the second half, and YB's character was not explored more. I am not sure what went wrong with the writing this time and whether PHR was aiming to write a thriller or a melodrama. I think it would have better as a 20 episode drama which would have allowed them to explore things a bit more. I think the execution seriously faltered in the second half and lastly, the finale was a little too neatly wrapped although it was nice.
