I tried watching the highly recommended boss & me ... but after watching so many korean dramas, just hearing chinese sounded really really weird ... i could not bear to watch more than 1 episode

Not that i understand korean either .. but somehow chinese sounds stranger after hearing korean ... or maybe i have watched too many kdramas that i have got used to it

You're not the only one. Chinese sounds weird to me too. I haven't seen a lot of Chinese/Taiwanese shows, only a few, but I still can't get used to it. When I first started with Kdramas, Korean sounded strange as well, but after a few episodes I started picking up the words and I got used to it very quickly. Same goes for Japanese. I already knew a few Japanese words, so I easily got used to it. I think Korean and Japanese are easier to understand and the names are a lot easier to pronounce, but I think Chinese is much harder and the names are difficult to pronounce.

I grew up learning Chinese in school so it doesn't sound weird to me. I think you guys will get used to it after you watch more dramas😆

Nope definitely not the only one..even i felt it to be weird...it may be becuase the language sounds too sharp and rough when compared to others..but i guess we will kinda get used to it after some time.

I find it very cute not weird 😆 even Japanese too.. I found Thai little weird though..I like Korean since I found little similarities between Korean and Tamil although am not from Tamil Nadu . 😳

Korean is much much better than Chinese.

Japenese dramas are way too boring to look at. I mean the screen colour and the way they are shot looks very old :/

Korean and Taiwanese are best.

BTW did you watch the shows I recommended?

I blame you for the current state of my life ... i was coasting along life happily when bam! you got me hooked to Kdramas and now i am addicted ... I have seen most of the shows you recommended ... In the past 2 months i have watched like 20-25 shows ... its crazzzy ! ...
I love you for introducing me to them but i hate you for killing all my other hobbies 😆😆😆

u r rite Chinese dramas are the Wonderful dramas than K-dramas

I am so glad😆😆 I got most of my friends addicted 😆😆 I keep watching one drama after the other and this never stops. I feel like watching all at once😆

I think you find it weird at first cuz it's something new but once you get familiarize with the words and pronunciation, you're fine. I mean I found Hindi weird until I got used to the language and then the same with Tamil, Korean and Chinese
