How Kdramas changed my life

I, used to hide my emotions, actually unknowingly. I used to never weep even in the direst situations. So, my surrounding people including my family felt that I was a rock-hearted person. I don't say that I changed completely but yes I did change...
At first even though many suggested that I should start with Boys over flowers, I wasn't at all interested. Like after an year when I got irritated by the pesterings about Kdrama, I just thought why not give it a try. Yes, like many evn my first was BOF and then followup (I din't lke it but still went to for the 2nd one) The Playful Kiss (I again din't like it), and then like a miracle (now I don't remember how I came across it) happened Coffee Prince and simultaneously Secret Garden (these both started changing me), while watching the confrontation scene in Coffee Prince, I suddenly felt tears rolling out of my eyes... and that was the 1st time when I wept on watching something which I clearly know isn't real, and Hyun Bin completely melted my heart, now after three years, its like my tears keep rolling quite often (even if a read a small heartmoving article, irrespective of happy or sad one)...

I don't know whether I love this change in me or not, but its just that I no longer bottle up my emotions... Like the famous saying Koreans wear their emotions on their sleeves (I too got inhibited)...

I watched it while it aired, I love Jun Ji Hyun as Chun Seong Yi (I think its one of the best characters ever played and she completely rocked it), I watched it whole for 2-3 times just for her... But now I am watching only present running dramas... I got fed up with up completed ones where no suspense prevails...

Yes, of course, there are way too many sites, dramaload, dramanice, dramafever, myasiantv, eps-kdrama, and many more... I just watch the subbed ones, but recently as I can now almost understand everything without subs, I watch them just few minutes after they finish that episode on air in Korea... I finished watching Reply 1988 ep 15 just now which gets subbed only by tuesday...

I am from India and I watched 100-150 dramas in the last two and a half years... I find the way of sentence formation in korean is very similar to my mother tongue - telugu, also active and passive voices I find them quite simlar, so its more easier for me...

Nw i was wondering how many shows with subtitles i have to watch in order to understand the language...so now i shud target 100-150 dramas😉😆 and yes I did google abt learning korean and it is similar to indian languages in term of Sub-obj-verb but it is agglutinative lang so the pattern is different😊 3-4 years back k-dramas were suggested by some fb frnds but the series I started with didn't catch my interest But now again this month i started with Oh my Ghostess bcoz my frnd suggested it and now I am almost going to complete Oh my venus😳
