So far, apart from the horrible kiss, I am loving Tan. I want to jump in and KILL the bully.

I love his GF though, she is smart and does not give in easily.

Haha yes 😆 I have definitely blindfolded my reasoning about this one haha and like BOF, I'll probably regret watching but oh wells! The funny thing is, what BOF lacked in story/script it pulled in with ratings, however Heirs is doing pretty low on the ratings scale too...i guess this goes to show that even if you've got the most hottest stars and great sets, story will always remain most important...not to mention, majority of watchers in Korean are 20's and ajhummas who prefer makjangs and saeguks...so i totally see how Secret is pulling in all the ratings comparatively

I want this drama to do well so that all dem actors get decent roles in the future (I love them all IRL). so, I am putting all my hope in the live shooting which will commence soon.

The episode 9 preview has me sooo excited. Things are finally happening:

tan and young do duke it out

catfight with rach and es

es likes tan back: they hold hands in public, back hug

young do is obsessed with es. tracks down her old home, protects her from other bullies

WON CATCHES TAN WITH ES. I repeat, JERK WITH BEAUTIFUL POUT CATCHES HIS BABY BROTHER WITH HIS NOTORIOUS GIRLFRIEND. this is the most exciting part of the entire preview. I like won and tan's story way too much

You know what's funny though, most of the actors in the show are already well established actors/actresses...Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye need no introduction, they've got some hit dramas under their belts, Woo Bin has been the biggest break out star this year and so has Choi Jin Hyuk...so it just makes me wonder WHY they chose this drama over so many potentially amazing roles...the only person I see this drama being worthwhile for is Krystal...Min Hyuk (CN Blue) really showed his acting chops in Heartstrings as the dorky sidekick... I don't know who plays Rachel but she's pretty decent...

see I am from the Hyun Bin, SeungKi, Minho, Rain (okay, not that old😆) generation so I don't keep up with the newer pop culture idols. Educate this oldie please.

haha we're from pretty much the same era (Hyun Bin and Rain!) but I know Woo Bin cause I've seen him in some of the new stuff these past few years...the thing with him is he plays pretty much the SAME role in every drama...he's in Gentlemen's Dignity - plays a rebellious high school kid, School 2013 (biggest break out for him)- he plays a high school badass again and now we have Heirs - highschool again, bully...so basically, he hasn't played anything dynamic but he does a fantastic job in the role he's given...

PS: I think the actors chose this roles for money! The show has spent SOOO much money on this! And also the writers are City Hunter and Secret Garden's writer. So you see? They can't just cast anybody! To actually be successful, they had to take a cast that can act to the emotions. Trust me, not everybody can be Young Do or Kim Won and still make it hard to hate him! We would have hated the actors as well as characters of they weren't played so beautifully!

Just finished watching this weeks episodes and I want to pull my hair out...we have made absolutely NO PROGRESS in this show...like what da heck show!?!?!!

Won - worse use of character, he probably had all together 15 mins of screen time, please please please let him be on screen more dramagods

Tan - at this point, scarier than Young Do. Why? I get you are pissed Young Do came into your home and met your "real" mother etc...but that is no right to instigate Young Do's father to pretty much physically abuse him - Tan, you knew exactly what you were doing, smirk and all..freakin scary and to top it off, you decide to give the girl of your dreams some space, only to watch her on CCTV's from your bedroom...like what!? we're hitting stalker status soon bud

Eun Sung - seriously woman, how are two gorgeous men so enamoured by you!? arghhh I love your PSH but you and a cardboard box stand in are pretty much equal right now
