i was addicted to korean movies. i started with bof in dramas. since then im addicted to k dramas. i love kim hyung joong

I can see that! When I first watched BOF, I was like so many hot guys in one show!!😆..But when I watched the 2nd time, I was like seriously how in the world did I thought that this drama was great?!

I can understand that sentiment, b/c only for so many time hot guys can hold the viewers, but when one repeatedly watches that drama again, when there is really not much of a story and a couple of bad acting, you just wonder that sometimes eye candy clouds one's judgement! Coffee Prince is a great great drama, to begin the journey of K shows..I have watched that like 10 times, and it still never ceases to amaze of how brilliant of a drama that is! 😊

my first was BOF...by accident. i was so bored during the summer and i used to watching anime and reading manga and stuff so i wanted to watch the anime version of Hana Yori Dango since i read the book three or four years prior at the time...around 2006 or 2007 at the time...and when i searched for it on youtube i thought it was a live action or something and then i realized it wasn't japanese but i was interested in it and kept on watching it.

however, looking back the show...it was okay but i did get hook on kdramas and i started watching You're Beautiful and i became sink line and hooked! and then some how i starting crossing over to taiwanese dramas and etc...

Aah! Me with the majority here.

BOF was my first too.
But the difference is...I didn't get addicted to Kdramas then. I was like..."So yeah, it was nice. But too juvenile for me." I used to dig LMH tho.
After a year I gave City Hunter a shot...and the rest is history.

So, I think I'll credit CH for addicting me to Kshows.

that is so me. every time LMH stops making dramas, I take a break and then dive in head first again when he comes in. endless cycle.

Hiya Jas!

Mine was Dong Yi. This show was shown here in SL and I got hooked to it despite the length with 60 odd episodes. I had no clue about Korean dramas until I watched this one and it was a wonderful experience

The second drama I watched was 'My Girl' recommendded by my darling IF KDrama pal; Shiks. I was reluctant to watch it but Shiks bugged me and made sure I watched and I'm glad I listened to her cuz the drama was full of fun

Third was Autumn's Concerto, which by far the best I've come across with such an emotional story and amazing acting. There's this little kid of 5 years who acts like a pro. I love him!!

Thereafter I got obsessed with Lee Min Ho thanks to Somy's suggestion of 'Personal Taste' and ended up watching all LMH dramas. He is the only Korean actor who's name I know of plus I'm fangurling over him ever since I laid my eyes on him in Personal Taste

Man I love my KDrama journey...
