I completely get why your friend would say that and I would never recommend it to anyone who doesn't like existential themes (that too with Japanese flavored despair😆). KKK is just dark, absurdly brutal and just too hopeless😆 --- but I adore Nojima Shinji's dramas and his 90's TBS dramas are highly esteemed<3 and boy do I agree😆 plus the theme music is by Morita Douji and she's one of favorite artist of ALL time! so obviously I'm biased XD

Susumu Hirasawa - Girl In The Byakkoya ❤️

@Rumi - Watch the first one too! 😆 I watched AUTB and loved it, it was so odd seeing them in such weird costumes but definitely worth the time. I don't think I've seen alot of Shinji's work but I will check it out when I have time. As we both know the music can add so much to an already amazing work, like the partnership between Susumu Hirasawa and Satoshi Kon 😛
