Jaejoong's fans start a charity project to save Thai elephants

The fans of JYJ member Jaejoong are taking action to save the elephants.

On April 29th, Jaejoong posted a concerned tweet saying, "Thai elephants are on the brink of extinction? No, my elephants…"

Jaejoong's fans are well aware of the singer's special love for elephants. After fans saw that he even had an elephant cell phone accessory, the item quickly became sold out in Japan.

And at a concert in Thailand last year, Jaejoong sang the popular Thai children's song "Elephant Song", which then became a hot topic of conversation amongst fans.

Like so, elephants and Jaejoong go hand in hand. His fans who saw that he was concerned about the elephant extinction immediately began a project called 'Save the JAElephant!', using the first part of his name. Through this project, the fans will be donating a sum of money to the elephant protection group in his name.

Meanwhile, other fans also began a separate project called 'SAVE THE ASIAN ELEPHANTS!', and they are drawing attention for their plans to adopt a rescued elephant baby named Mee Chok.

Netizens who heard the news remarked, "Both the fans and Jaejoong's love for elephants is amazing," while also saying "This is so touching," and "Jaejoong has the best fans."

SM's Yunho, Leeteuk, Seohyun, and Krystal model for '1st Look'

For '1st Look' magazine, SM Entertainment labelmates got together for a special pictorial in time for the release of their new film, 'I AM'.

Each pictorial also features an in-depth interview with the stars, where TVXQ's Yunho in particular reveals his goals on how he wants to be remembered. He revealed, "I like resting, but I'm happier when I'm singing. Like my idol, Michael Jackson, I want to become a singer that is remembered forever, someone that can be a mentor for others."

Super Junior's Leeteuk, who combined both masculine and chic looks for his style profile, expressed, "Behind the glitz and glam of the career of a celebrity lies a normal, Korean man, who is hungry for love and success."

Girls' Generation's Seohyun took the breath away of staff on set with her feminine yet powerful look. In her interview, she expressed, "My trainee days were fun and something to cherish because I made a lot of memories with my labelmate friends and unnis, memories that I wouldn't be able to make at school. I'm both amazed and kind of shy that my trainee days will be revealed through 'I AM', but I think it will also be fun to share these with everyone."

f(x)'s Krystal showed off her own fashionable looks with a modern twist while also talking about her role in 'High Kick 3', stating, "There are a lot of people that regard me as the same as my character, Ahn Soo Jung. I'm not like that, though. I may look cold on the outside, but I'm different once you get to know me. I'm just really shy."

Check out the rest of the looks below!

JYJ's Yoochun reported to have quite the sweet tooth

Like his character in hit SBS drama series 'Rooftop Prince', JYJ's Park Yoochun has been revealed to enjoy sweets as well.

In the script, Yoochun's character enjoyed a round of drinks with Park Ha (Han Ji Min), using whipped cream as his chaser of choice. He drank yogurt drinks by the bowl, and enjoyed cotton candy, ice cream, as well as cups of coffee with plenty of whipping cream, of course.

The staff members remarked, "Park Yoochun enjoys eating sweets in real life. He enjoys summer fruits as well as sweet coffee drinks like vanilla lattes. When he films scenes where he must eat sweet treats, he makes it look all the more realistic."

Yoochun remarked, "There was a scene where I ate a bowl of samgyetang (traditional chicken stew), and I genuinely enjoyed it. I am looking forward to what other sweet treats are in store for me as the drama goes on."

TVXQ's Yunho admits to being the romantic type

Underneath that tough exterior, TVXQ's Yunho has a soft and romantic side.

On the May 3rd episode of MBC TV's 'Joo Byung Jin's Talk Show', Yunho was asked what kind of dosirak (Lunch box) he would like to receive.

"Different from what I may look like, I like romantic things," Yunho answered. MC Joo Byung Jin then responded, "What are you talking about, you look plenty romantic," causing Yunho to become embarrassed.

"I like when they write my name with beans, or make out my face with strawberries," Yunho continued.

On the flip side, fellow TVXQ member Changmin remarked, "I'm an extreme realist. I don't care what it looks like, as long as it tastes good," evoking laughter from the other guests.
