Charismatic Powerhouse - The Prince of Finance

Fulfills the leadership/management role in Team 2 of the strategic business unit (SBU) operating under 'C Corporation'. He is also the paternal cousin of Cha Jihun, who is the immature youngest son of said mega corporation.

Cha Muwon's mother, Shin Sukhee, is the president of a subsidiary company under C corporation, as well as the sister-in-law of Chairman Cha of C Corporation.

Although Cha Muwon holds the position of Team 2 Manager, in reality, he is the Control Tower of the corporation. Muwon manages both Team 2 and Team 1, which was in fact originally intended to be supervised by his cousin, Cha Jihun. Because Muwon possesses substantial leadership skills and intuitive nature, he handles inter-personal communication excellently. He also holdes himself as a gentleman at all times. He, indeed, is the Prince of the Financial World.

In an attempt to gain more management authority, he secretly set in motion several plans that would set the stage for the power struggle with his cousin. Using his mother's subsidiary corporation as a vessel, he discreetly utilized funds to increase his shares in the C corporation. At the same time, he roped in a number of shareholders and personnel over to his side. Also a part of the plan is the marriage to his cousin's first love, Seo Nayun, who is the eldest daughter of 'P Corporation' President.

In order to keep tabs on his cousin, he strategically hired No Eunsul. But his eyes keep going to her'.

I love how they inspired Ji Sung's haistyle from the Manga - Slam Dunk matching his immature and childish personality😆... LOL @ him reading all the mangas on the desk and in that last picture, his expression is priceless 🤣 I'm assuming he's one funny character to look out for... I missed seeing him in a comic role back in his previous drama New Heart.

While Ji Sung is already gelling in to his immature character, Jaejoong is not behind either... he's looks so suave and breathtaking 😍 I can just picture it already how many girls' hearts are melting in puddle right now 😍

[NEWS + PICS] Jaejoong Appears as the Corporation's Interviewer for "Boss"

For an interview, Choi Kanghee even braved dancing.

Protect the Boss, which will air as the follow-up to the SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama City Hunter on August 3, is an unprecedented sweet-thrills (comedy) that will unfold as a rookie female secretary meets as her boss a delinquent second generation chaebol and stars a "Tame the Delinquent Chaebol Project."

In the first episode, Choi Kanghee playing Noh Eunsul comes to interview in ten companies in order to secure a job. She is from a regional university and even has poor grades and therefore has repeated defeats in interviews. In order to compete with elites from prestigious universities she sometimes shows off dancing and singing, makes a kick-boxing pose, and even shows the lines of her hand (for palm reading) to the interviewer.

And when she is disregarded (rudely) by the interviewers, she teared up, impassionedly proclaiming: "Everyone (makes judgments and) says that this person is good, that one is bad. But, (you are wrong), it's that this person is good at doing this, and that one is good at doing that. You interviewers who only consider test scores and credentials thinking that those are the only measures of abilities seem even stupider (than I am)."

For the scene of the interview, Choi Kanghee filmed multiple times over many days in Ilsan Kintex and Youngdeungpo Hotels and such. Kim Jaejoong appeared as an interviewer in the middle and gathered all eyes.

The producers were confident: "Our drama blows away frustration and is refreshing. But it will also give a gift of empathy, through episodes that speaks for the hearts of many youths who feel the walls of the difficult job market in reality."

On the other hand, Boss will have Ki Sung, Choi Kanghee, Kim Jaejoong, Wang Jihye, Park Youngkyu, Cha Hwayeon, Kim Chung, and others appear. It will begin airing on August 3^rd, 9:55pm.

Jaejoong Slept Alongside Ji Sung Wearing Only Underwear... Twice!

Group JYJ's Kim Jaejoong is in Ji Sung Illness (T/N: Korean term. In this context it means that Jaejoong is occupying himself with Ji Sung.)

Kim Jaejoong is appearing in a domestic drama for the first time through SBS TV's Protect the Boss. After he tasted acting through the movie Heaven's Postman, he caught its drift through Sunao Ni Narenakute of Japan's Fuji TV.

Kim Jaejoong, who will play a second generation chaebol Cha Muwon, is cousins with Cha Jihun played by Ji Sung. They fight over the right of control over the management due to an incident from their parents' generation, and come to stand in conflict. Jaejoong expresed his thanks: "I struggle with Ji Sung Hyung over power but in truth I became quite close with Hyung. Faced with the awkward atmosphere of (it being) my first drama, I was not able to easily approach (others) but Hyung was kind enough to himself approach me first."

The impetus that made Jaejoong even closer with Ji sung was the MT that they went on with the cast and staff. Jaejoong confessed: "Before going into the filming in earnest, Ji Sung Hyung organized an MT so I came to go. In the beginning it was awkward because we met as a sunbae and hubae. But later we drank and I came to sleep in our underwears only with Hyung."

Jaejoong chatted: "After that, Ji Sung contacted me to do script practice together and so I went to his house to play. That day too I came to sleep on Hyung's bed in my underwear. In the MT, we slept, saying "who cares since we are both men?" As for the second time, he said: "We did it the first time so who cares about the second time?" It seems that as we went through a lot together, we came to be close friends fast."

Kim Jaejoong is just too happy with the filming set. He tries to contain his laughter watching Ji Sung and Park Youngkyu (58). "Park Youngkyu sunsaeng-nim )T/N: Korean term of respect that literally means "teacher") is usually very dignified and looks like a gentleman but when he starts acting he is too funny. Ji Sung Hyung is Park Youngkyu sunsaeng-nim's son and he appears as a delinquent. As such, even lines that seem normal are acted out in slang that does not seem like slang, secret speech. Four-letter words (T/N: curse words) that do not seem like four-letter words appear and it is just too fun."

Further, he expressed his satisfaction, saying: "As for Ji Sung Hyung, he purposefully helps me a lot. But the others too, I can see, are attempting to take care of me. Choi Kanghee nuna without fail sends me a text if we were not able to say goodbye after the filming is over. It seems that as compared to the number of times that we have met, the nervousness is declining fast. The sunbaes are treating me with such warmth."

Kim Jaejoong is newly challenging himself with a new determination. He confessed: "When I was filming Heaven's Postman I was in a stage that was filled with desires/hopes as a singer (only) so did not have such for other fields. As such, I was not able to have either the time or the mindset to film a movie."

He explained: "There was no one who taught me what a movie was. Also it wasn't that I was filming continuously, but I was filming a few scenes and then going back to be active as a singer and then filing again. As such, it feels that I just filmed without even understanding the continuity of emotions. I think that because of me Han Hyoju, who filmed with me, also must not have had a calm head. After I filmed a drama in Japan, things changed a lot. I think I learned very much and it was the impetus by which I was able to have the mindset of an actor."

Kim Jaejoong expressed his confidence: "The message contained in the drama may be a bit heavy. The drama is portraying not merely the problems faced by the job seekers but also the hardships endured by the regular people as employees of a corporation. However I believe that inside of that, the drama can form a place of empathy with the viewers and allow them to laugh and be moved at the same time."

JYJ's Kim Jaejoong(25) went hiking for his first domestic drama.

He traveled to nearby suburbs for a two-day-long bonding trip with the cast of SBS' new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Protect the Boss'.

Kim Jaejoong said, "The first time that I arrived on location, it felt so awkward that I couldn't approach my fellow cast members," and "At that time, Ji Sung brightened up the atmosphere. Ji Sung hyung is someone who believes that actors have to be close to work well together, so he planned a bonding trip for all of us."

He also added, "Five of us(Ji Sung, Choi Kang Hee, Wang Ji Hae, Lee Hui Won) went hiking together and shared lots of stories," and "After we were done with our hiking expedition, I sang for a talent contest we had, and I was so embarrassed." He continued to reminisce as he laughed and said, "It might be okay for other people to mess up their singing to make it funny or interesting, but I felt like I couldn't mess up, so I remember doing my best as I sang."

But he said that he had it better than others. "Wang Ji Hae had to show off her singing skills twice because she sang during the bonding trip and then she had to sing in front of her acting seniors."

Kim Jaejoong says he is slowly getting used to filming for his drama and said, "I feel relaxed around everyone now," and "Nowadays, I sometimes exchange texts or phone calls with Choi Kang Hee noona."

He thanked Ji Sung as he added, "Ji Sung hyung calls me over to rehearse together when we don't have any filming to do," and "He's been giving me a lot of help on my acting."

Kim Jaejoong will be playing Cha Mu Won, the 'prince of the financial world'. Though he is cousins with Cha Ji Hun(Ji Sung), he is in an antagonistic relationship with his cousin because of the feud between their parents over running the family business. The drama will begin airing on the 3rd of August.
