{highlight} 6 years later GX is a well-known lawyer engaged to YQ. MC lives in Flower Village and makes a living by selling flowers. She's a complete stranger to everyone there. There are rumors that others have tried to woo her, but she never went on any dates with any of them. One day GX shows up at Flower Village. Since MC's house is the only place with an extra room and there's no other place for GX to stay, the village chief gets MC to house him. MC maintains her distance from GX and tries to keep XL away from him as well. MC finds out that GX had brain surgery to remove a tumor and that's the reason why he lost his memory. GX thinks MC is way too overprotective of XL and thinks she's super weird for telling her son stories of aliens, that his father is an alien. XL takes an instant liking to GX because he thinks GX is an alien since GX wears the "transmitter" bracelet, which is the bracelet MC gave GX before she left. GX later decides to give XL the bracelet. One day, GX takes XL out to play without MC knowing. XL accidentally gets hurt; GX tells him to be a "big boy" and stand back up by himself. XL is unable to do so and is on the verge of fainting, that's when MC comes running and gives XL an insulin injection. Upon witnessing this, GX feels extremely sorry and sympathetic toward MC. He tries to help MC carry XL back to the house but she pushes him away. Some time passes.. GX is starting to care more about MC and XL but he doesn't know why he's becoming concerned with people that don't have anything to do with him. (I forgot to mention that TY visits when he has the time. GX hears about TY from the village chief and starts to wonder what TY's relationship is with MC. At the house GX asks MC why they aren't together and MC explains that TY is a really good friend. TY finds out that GX is living at MC's place but MC asks him to pretend he doesn't know GX. TY agrees, thinking that this means he still has a chance with MC.) GX receives a call from YQ and MC overhears what GX says. Apparently, GX is only in the village - acting all nice and volunteering - to cozy up to the villagers to get them to sell him their land (this is something HD wants GX to do). MC is extremely angry upon hearing this and forces GX to leave her house. The next day a terrible storm is coming in and GX hears the village chief talking about needing to prepare for the storm. GX overhears that everyone is too busy worrying about protecting their own property, that MC is preparing for the storm herself, that she doesn't even have the money to hire someone to help her. GX once again doesn't know why anything that has to do with MC concerns him, but he nonetheless runs over to MC's house. He finds her in the garden trying to set up a shelter for the flowers. He tells her to just leave them but she refuses saying that selling flowers is her only means of making a living and that she needs the money to send XL to school. GX ends up helping her set up the shelter. Back in the house MC notices that GX hurt himself while helping her. He says he didn't even notice and it doesn't bother him but MC insists on helping him clean up the wound. He notices that MC's hands are pink; she explains that she's been having an allergic reaction to something lately. GX freaks out over the fact that he's caring so much for MC and XL. He comes to the conclusion that all he has to do is go back to Taipei, to see YQ and all his feelings will go back to normal. Back in Taipei at HD's house while waiting for YI, he overhears a conversation between HD and Xu Fang Guo. It turns out HD ordered people to go into Flower Village to contaminate their water system in order to leave them with no other choice but to leave the property. GX is extremely angry upon hearing this and immediately returns to Flower Village, leaving YI behind after only giving her a hug. At Flower Village GX insists on looking at MC's hands again and explains to her the reason as to why she's been developing that rash. He promises that he will help her, help the village, that HD has gone too far this time. He spends some more time in the village and YQ decides to make a surprise visit. She arrives at the place GX is staying at and upon looking through the window, she instantly recognizes MC. The smile on GX's face is a smile she's never seen the whole time he's been with her for the past 6 years. She's taken aback, thinking that all she has worked for to have GX may be lost. YQ decides that she needs to marry GX right away. Thus, YQ tells GX that she will convince her dad to forget about acquiring Flower Village, but they need to get married as soon as possible. GX agrees. The village decides to throw GX a farewell/thank you party. The day of the party, MC and XL do not appear because MC knows that XL will create a huge fuss over GX leaving. GX wants to say goodbye to them so he goes looking for them. He passes a room and hears someone playing the piano. MC is playing the Air on G String piano piece by Bach. Upon hearing this, GX gets an intense headache and starts to recover his memory. He walks into the room with a fully recovered memory. He starts to angrily ask MC why - why'd she leave, why she isn't married to TY. He's extremely angry over the way MC left, her reason for leaving being her thinking that he wouldn't be able to protect her. He realizes that XL may be his child and tells her that he will fight to gain custody of XL. XL wakes up from sleeping and asks what's happening. GX tells XL that he is his father, his biological father, and XL is delighted. XL runs over to GX while MC tries to get XL to return to her. XL refuses to come back to MC's side. This is when TY arrives, picks up XL and leaves with MC. GX returns to Taipei and MC is completely distraught over the situation. TY asks MC to marry him, that way she won't have to give up XL. XL extremely misses GX and decides to go off looking for him. He knows that GX is in Taipei so he sneaks into a delivery truck and thus hitches a ride to Taipei. The truck is delivering flowers to Taipei for GX and YQ's wedding ceremony. The first person XL meets in Taipei is GX's mom. He asks her if she knows where his dad is. She tries to shoo him away, he faints. She rushes him to the hospital, asking YQ to help him. One look and YQ realizes that the kid is XL. She thinks about not saving XL because if he were to die, that link between GX and MC will be gone. She does save XL anyway. GX rushes to the hospital upon hearing from YQ that XL is in the hospital. GX's mom soon finds out that GX has recovered his memory and that XL is GX and MC's son. MC arrives shortly after. She starts yelling at GX for taking XL away, that if he were to die, she'd never forgive him. XL wakes up and is extremely happy to see GX. XL blames MC for not allowing him to see GX; he tells her that he is tired of her and only wants to be with his father. MC is extremely heart broken over this. GX has a strong desire to just go over to MC, to just hug her and ease her pain, but he knows that she will only push him away. He goes looking for YQ to tell her to cancel the wedding. YQ saw this coming so she agrees. GX goes back to the hospital room while MC is sitting outside the room. He tells XL that MC left because she was just so sad to hear that XL is tired of her. XL cries and MC comes running in. GX asks XL if he really loves his mom. XL doesn't want to choose between living with only either MC or GX but he says his mom is the most important person to him. GX asks XL if he would like it if he could live with both MC and GX. Thus, GX and MC get married and move to Taipei. MC thinks that GX only married her to make XL happy, so she still maintains her distance from him. GX interprets her cold attitude as her no longer liking him, so he becomes sad/angry and spends less time with her. They only act lovingly toward each other in front of XL. They only kiss each other when XL pressures them into it. One day MC receives a call from TY's mom asking for help. TY is being accused of murder and TY's mom wants GX to help him. MC is reluctant at first to ask GX for this favor but she eventually does. When MC asks GX to help TY, GX thinks that MC is in love with TY. He angrily says, "don't worry, I'll help bring back the person you love!". After helping to acquit TY, GX wants a divorce. He leaves the house and has the divorce papers sent over. MC is extremely upset, she becomes ill. XL is scared because his mom is sick and his father hasn't returned home for days. He tries to call for GX with the "transmitter" bracelet but ends up breaking it. Eventually GX does come back home and XL tells him that MC is sick. XL tells GX about the broken bracelet and when GX looks at it to try to fix it, he discovers that the bracelet had a chip in it. The next day, MC wakes up to find a sleeping GX and XL sitting at her bedside. They start to discuss everything, the misunderstandings, and MC finally tells GX that she loves him, that she has only loved him and doesn't want to have a divorce. GX tells MC that he was angry and upset with her because she actually thought that he married her for XL when he , in actuality, really did want to be with her. GX asks MC out on a date. They take a bus ride. GX tells MC he found the chip in the bracelet, that he watched the message MC recorded for him. The message plays on the bus and after that's finished, a message recorded by GX plays. MC's message -- "I like you, GX, really really like you. I like your willfulness, your arrogance, your confidence when playing hockey, your seriousness when studying law to help me, the fact that you say one thing but your heart says another; even though you put up an arrogant attitude, I know you're doing this for me. I also like it when you sleep, boyish and with your guard down. If life is a trip on a bus, I wish my main stop is with you.. but this can't be, you have bigger aspirations, I can't catch up. But that doesn't matter, even if I could only be with you for this one short duration, I won't have any regrets because I saw the most beautiful scenery at this station. Thank you, GX. I like you, even if your happiness is not at my stop." GX's message -- "MC, I like you too. Your strength, your ordinary wishes and thoughts, your sweet expression when playing the piano, I like it when you lecture me, your bold style, I like it when you say you can't keep accepting my protection only because you also want to protect me. I also like that every time we kiss, you are still very shy. Thank you, MC. I like you - my happiness is at your stop."
side -- GX's mother didn't have much interaction with MC and XL when they first moved in. She did, however, want to explain to GX the reason as to why MC left him in the past, after seeing GX become more upset with MC but MC stopped her. MC decided to surprise GX's mother on her birthday. MC made a cake while XL made a card. In the card was a hand-drawn picture of GX's mom and XL, hand in hand. XL said he wanted to be able to take walks in the morning with her, hand in hand, and asked her if they could. GX's mom was touched by this, looked over at MC and said thank you.

I think its gna have a happy ending for every character.. i hope MC aunt comes back too, where did she go? 😕
