To be honest I Don't know how this works. But long ago I read an ariya ff where arjun goes on some undercover mission and gets caught by sikandar most probably and somehow riya also reaches upto sikandar's hideout with fake identity and finds out arjun there. For days she plays along with them and kept trying to take care of arjun as much as she could without blowing off her facade.
