Hello all here comes the part -14 of hamari adhuri kahani, hope you all like it ❤️🫶
Shree comes to arrest Ayesha.
Sameer (angrily): "Arjun ne ilzaam laga diya toh tum Ayesha ko arrest karne aa gaye? kyunki wo tumhara senior hai, tum uski har galat baat maan rahe ho?"
Shree: "Nahi sir, Arjun sir jo keh rahe hain, wo sach hai. Hamare paas saboot hain."
Sameer looks at Shree in disbelief.
Shree takes a deep breath and starts explaining everything—how Sakshi saved Sameer, how the attack happened on Shree and Sakshi, how Arjun saved them, and how they found the proof to prove Sameer's innocence.
Sameer listens silently, his expressions changing from disbelief to shock. His hands tremble slightly as he processes everything. His legs feel weak, and he loses his balance, collapsing onto a chair.
Sameer (in a low voice): "Yeh... yeh kaise ho sakta hai?"
Sakshi, seeing Sameer in shock, gently places a hand on his shoulder, giving him emotional support like a sister, trying to reassure him in this difficult moment.
Later Sakshi plays the videos on her phone, her eyes fixed on Ayesha. As the truth unfolds before her, Ayesha’s breath catches. Each frame shatters her assumptions, and guilt washes over her like a storm. Her hands tremble, her vision blurs with tears . She stumbles back and collapses to the ground .she starts hitting herself
Ayesha (sobbing):"Mujhse itni badi galti kaise ho gayi? Maine Sameer sir ko galat kaise samajh liya?"
Chotu and Lisa rush to Ayesha, trying to stop her, but she keeps hitting herself and sobbing uncontrollably, after a while, she takes a deep breath, composes herself, and slowly gets up.
Ayesha turns to Sakshi, her eyes filled with gratitude and regret.
Ayesha:"Thank you, Sakshi, mujhe itni badi bhool karne se pehle rokne ke liye. Aur Arjun sir, please ensure ki mujhe meri galti ki sakht se sakht saza mile."
Determined, she walks toward Shree, her voice trembling with guilt.
Ayesha: "Shree, arrest me. Itna bada paap karne ke baad main Sameer sir ke saamne khade hone ke layak bhi nahi hoon."
Shree puts handcuffs on Ayesha and starts leading her toward the door. Ayesha walks silently, her head lowered in guilt.
Sameer (firmly):"Ruko, Shree! Tum Ayesha ko kahin nahi le ja rahe ho."
Shree (confused):"Par sir, kyun?"
Sameer: "Kyunki usne jo bhi kiya, galatfahmi mein kiya. Na jaane mein kiya. Hum jaan-boojh kar usko saza nahi de sakte."
Arjun (sternly): "Not this time, rathod. Usne crime kiya hai aur usko saza milni chahiye.
Sameer : "Woh saza already bhugat rahi hai, Rawte. Usne apne pati, maa, papa—sab kho diya hai. Isse badi saza kisi ke liye kya ho sakti hai?"
Arjun:"Hamdardi dikhane ka yeh matlab nahi hai ki gunahgaaron ko chhod diya jaye."
Sameer (frustrated):"Baat samajhne ki koshish karo, Rawte! Usne Vishal ka video dekha, woh saboot jo mere khilaf the—toh wahi maane na? Apne pati ke qatil se badla lena chahegi na? Galtiyan sabse hoti hain, Ayesha se bhi hui. Par kya woh iske liye saza deserve karti hai?"
Ayesha ( with tears in her eyes): "Nahi, sir. Maine galti nahi ki, gunaah kiya hai. Galti maaf ki ja sakti hai, gunaah nahi.
Sameer:"Ayesha, agar tum mujhe jara bee respect karti ho aur apni galti ka ehsaas hai, toh meri baat mano."
Ayesha falls to her knees, clutching Sameer's legs.
Ayesha (sobbing uncontrollably): "Mujhe maaf kijiye, sir! Maine itna bada paap kaise kar diya? Kaise soch liya ki jo aadmi apni duty ke liye jaan de sakta hai, woh kisi masoom ki jaan le sakta hai? Main pyar may kitni andhi ho gayi thi... I'm so sorry, sir. Bahut badi galti ho gayi mujhse."
Sameer gently lifts Ayesha, making her stand. His voice softens, reflecting his understanding.
Sameer: "Ayesha, tumhare chief hone ke naate, yeh meri zimmedari hai ki main apni team ke sadasyon ki galtiyon ko sudharoon. Vahi tho kara hu "
Turning towards the team
Sameer: "Team, suno. Sakshi ne koi poison find nahi kiya, Shree aur Sakshi par koi attack nahi hua, aur Arjun wahan nahi gaya. Sab kuch bhool jao. As your chief, it's my order."
Arjun: "Agar nahi maane toh?"
Sameer: "Maanna padega."
Arjun: "Itni aasani se tum usse maaf kar sakte ho jisne tumhari jaan lene ki koshish ki? Uske saath roz kaam kaise karoge?"
Sameer:"Main toh apni jaan se bhi pyaari behen ke qatil ke saath kaam kar raha hoon. Iske saamne yeh badi baat nahi hai."
Sakshi: "Sameer sir, please. Aap baat ko kahaan se kahaan le ja rahe hain."
Arjun's eyes turn red, tears threatening to spill, but as usual, he holds them back. He silently leaves the room and heads to his cabin.
Sameer orders his team to return to their desks. Everyone leaves except Sakshi. She stands there, staring at him with anger in her eyes.
Sakshi (angrily):Aap bohot galat kar rahe hain, sir. Arjun hamesha aapke saath khada hota hai , aapko support karta hai, aap usi ko baar-baar hurt kar rahe hain. You will regret everything soon, Mr. Sameer Rathod.
Saying this, Sakshi turns away and walks out of the room. Without looking back, she heads straight to Arjun’s cabin.
Arjun was sitting on his chair, his eyes red with unshed tears. Sameer’s words kept echoing in his ears. His hands trembled as he reached for his purse, pulling out Roshni’s picture. He stared at it, his vision blurred.
Arjun (brokenly): Mai tumhara kaatil nahi hoon, Roshni… nahi hoon. How can Sam say this every time? Wo mujh par bharosa kyun nahi karta? Usko pata hai na tum meri zindagi ho… phir bhi wo kaise soch sakta hai ki maine tumhe bachane ki koshish nahi ki?
His voice cracked as he gripped the photo tightly.
Arjun: Waise bhi, tumhare jaane ke baad Zinda hoke bhi ek laash ki tarah jee raha hoon . Aur upar se tumhare bhai ka yeh ilzaam… mujhe saha nahi ja raha, Roshni. Jab bhi wo aise kehta hai na… aise lagta hai ki koi meri saansein ek ek karke chheen raha ho
Tears welled up in his eyes, but his pain soon turned into rage. Overcome with emotions, he threw everything off his desk—files, papers, his pen stand—all crashing onto the floor. His breathing was ragged, his fists clenched.
Just then, Sakshi entered the cabin. She froze, shocked to see Arjun in such a vulnerable state. Seeing him like this broke her heart. Without thinking, she rushed toward him and tried to stop him.
Sakshi (worriedly): Arjun, stop! Tum kya kar rahe ho? Sambhalo khud ko!
Arjun was not in a state to listen to anything. His entire body was shivering, and he kept repeating in a broken voice, "Mai kaatil nahi hoon… mai kaatil nahi hoon…" His breaths were ragged, his eyes wild with pain and guilt.
Sakshi immediately realized that Arjun was having a panic attack. Without wasting a second, she made him sit down, quickly offering him water. But his trembling hands couldn’t hold the glass. She set it aside and Without thinking, she cupped his face in both hands, forcing him to look at her.
Her touch was soft, filled with care—something Arjun had forgotten after Roshni’s death. The great Arjun Rawte the man who had turned to stone, who had locked away every emotion behind an unbreakable wall, who never let his tears fall, who carried the burden of volcanic rage in his eyes started to melt.
His vision blurred, his breath hitched, and before he could stop himself, a single tear escaped. Then another. And another. Until he couldn’t hold back anymore.
For the first time since Roshni’s death… ACP Arjun Rawte cried.
He leaned forward and hugged Sakshi tightly, clutching her like a lifeline
Arjun (sobbing): "Mai kaatil nahi hoon, Sakshi… maine bahut koshish ki thi Roshni ko bachane ke liye… mai sach keh raha hoon… please believe me. Sam mujh par vishwas kyun nahi karta? Kyun, Sakshi?"
His voice broke, his grip tightening around her Sakshi felt her own eyes well up, but she held onto him, she let him cry for some time gently stroking his back, whispering softly, "Shh… Arjun, main yahan hoon… main tum par vishwas karti hoon…"
And in that moment, ACP Arjun Rawte—the unbreakable, unstoppable force—was just a broken man, desperately searching for someone to believe in him.
After what felt like an eternity, Arjun snapped back to his senses. His body tensed as reality hit him—he had broken down in front of Sakshi.
The very tears he had caged for years had escaped before her eyes. Shocked, he staggered back, pushing her away as he stood up abruptly. His mind was in turmoil. **Why her?** Why did he feel this strange sense of comfort only with Sakshi? What was this inexplicable connection between them? Just as these thoughts clouded his mind, sudden flashes from the past flickered before his eyes—blurred, fragmented, just out of reach.
A sharp ache shot through his head, and he clutched it, his face contorting in pain.
Sakshi rushed to him, concern evident in her voice.
Sakshi:"Arjun, tum theek ho? Please, baith, main paani leke aati hoon."
She hurriedly fetched a glass of water and knelt beside him. Gently, she held his hand and guided the glass to his lips. He hesitated for a moment before taking a sip, his gaze locked onto hers. There was something in her eyes—something that made his heart clench. Was it care? Or was it something deeper… something he wasn't ready to name?
After a while, Arjun’s breathing steadied, and he slowly regained his composure. But the storm within him was far from settled. Sakshi, unable to hold back anymore, looked at him with anger and concern swirling in her eyes.
Sakshi:Arjun, what's wrong with you? Kyu itna stress le rahe ho? Agar tumhe kuch ho jata toh…!
Arjun let out a bitter chuckle, his voice laced with pain.
Arjun:Toh bhi kisiko koi farak nahi padta.
His words stung, but Sakshi refused to back down.
Sakshi:(firmly)Padta hai, Arjun.
Arjun's gaze snapped to hers, searching, questioning.
Arjun:Kisko?
Sakshi froze. Her heart pounded against her ribs as words screamed within her, but her lips refused to part.
(Mind voice: Mujhe farak padta hai, Arjun… tumhari saansein meri dhadkan se judi hain. Ye baat main tumhe kaise bataun?")
Arjun took a step closer, his piercing eyes demanding an answer.
Arjun:Bolo, Sakshi… kisko?
She swallowed hard, forcing herself to mask the emotions threatening to spill out. And then, she whispered—
Sakshi:Roshni ji ko
Arjun stiffened.
Sakshi:Kya unko aapko aise dekhna acha lagega? Bhale hi wo iss duniya mein na ho, par unka pyaar, unki duaayein… unka dil sirf aapki khushi chahata hai, Arjun. Aapko khud ko itni takleef dete dekhkar kya wo khush hongi?
A tense silence fell between them. Arjun’s expression darkened, something flickering behind his eyes—pain, anger, confusion. And then, his voice dropped to a whisper, dangerously low—
Arjun:Tum Roshni ko kaise jaanti ho, Sakshi?
(Sakshi stands frozen, her face turning pale.)
Sakshi(stammering): W-w-oh... woh aapki wife hain na? Isliye pata hai...
Arjun (narrowing his eyes): Pure office mein kisi ko nahi pata ki main married tha… phir tumhe kaise pata?
Sakshi(gathering herself): Main ek reporter hoon, Arjun. Bohot si secret cheezein reporters ko pata chal jaati hain… isliye mujhe bhi pata tha.
(Just then, Sameer enters, his expression serious.)
Sameer(crossing his arms): Par Roshni toh reporter nahi thi na? Phir woh tujhe kaise jaanti thi?
Sakshi : Why would she know me? Aapko koi galat fahmi hui hogi. Roshni ji mujhe nahi jaanti thi.
Sameer : Achha? Agar Roshni tumhe nahi jaanti thi, toh yeh photo uske cupboard mein kya kar raha tha?
Arjun and Sakshi freeze in shock, their eyes locked onto the photo.
Arjun : Tum kya keh rahe ho, Rathod? Roshni ke paas Sakshi ka photo kyun hoga?
Sameer : Kuch din pehle mujhe Princess ke samaan mein Sakshi ka photo mila tha , mai sahi waqt ka intezaar kar raha tha. Mujhe laga ki aaj woh waqt aa gaya hai… ab batao, Sakshi.
(Sakshi stiffens, her fingers instinctively curling into fists. Arjun’s sharp gaze pierces through her, demanding answers.)
Arjun (his voice dangerously low): Jawaab do, Ms. Sakshi Anand. Meri Roshni ke paas tumhari tasveer kyun thi? Bolo!
(Just then, they hear a voice from the door.)
Voice: Main bataata hoon.
(Everyone turns towards the door. Ayesha walks in.)
Sameer (shocked): Ayesha? Tum?
Ayesha : Haan, sir. Mujhe pata hai Roshni mam ke paas Sakshi ka photo kyun tha.
Arjun : Yeh sab kya ho raha hai yahan? Tumhe kaise pata? Aur tum Roshni ko kaise jaanti ho?
Ayesha (taking a deep breath): Baat yeh hai ki Vishal ki maut ke baad main Sameer sir ke khilaaf saboot ikattha karne ke liye unka peecha kar rahi thi. Tabhi mujhe pata chala ki Roshni ma’am, Sameer sir ki behen aur Arjun sir ki wife thi.
Sameer : Woh toh theek hai, par Roshni ke paas Sakshi ka photo kyun tha?
Ayesha: Aapko yaad hai, Roshni ji ek thesis likh rahi thi?
Arjun : Haan… women empowerment ke liye.
Ayesha: Haan, uss thesis ke liye Roshni ji inspirational women ki real-life stories collect kar rahi thi. Unhone Sakshi ko apni research ke liye contact karne ka socha tha…
Sameer : Par tumhe yeh sab kaise pata?
Ayesha: Main ek din aapko follow kar rahi thi. Aap Roshni ji ko library mein chhod kar chale gaye the. Tab maine dekha ki Roshni ji ek reporter se Sakshi ke baare mein baat kar rahi thi.
Arjun : Par phir Sakshi ne kyun bola ki Roshni usse jaanti nahi thi?
Ayesha: Kyunki Sakshi ko yeh sab pata hi nahi tha. Roshni ma’am unse milne se pehle hi wo haadsa ho gaya.
(Sameer and Arjun exchange a glance. They aren’t completely convinced, but they have no solid reason to doubt Ayesha, so they decide to believe her.)
Sameer : Thanks for the clarification, Ayesha.
Ayesha : My pleasure, sir.
Sameer: Alright, it’s time to wrap this up. Let’s leave.
(Sakshi just stares at Ayesha, her face clouded with confusion. Arjun quietly leaves for home. Sameer is about to step out when he pauses.)
Sameer: Ayesha, should I drop you?
Ayesha : Thank you, sir, par Sakshi, Lisa, aur maine ladies outing plan kiya tha.
Sameer : It’s okay. Have a nice time.
(Sameer leaves. The moment he’s gone, Sakshi turns to Ayesha .)
Sakshi : Tumne Sameer sir aur Arjun sir se jhooth kyun bola, Ayesha?
Ayesha : Tumhe bachane ke liye.
Sakshi : Par… Roshni ji ke baare mein tumhe itna sab kaise pata?
Ayesha : Mujhe bas yeh pata tha ki Roshni ma’am, Sameer sir ki behen thi… baaki details mujhe Bluetooth ke instructions se mili.
Sakshi (stunned): Kisne diye yeh instructions?
(Just then, Shree steps forward.)
Shree: Maine.
(Sakshi's eyes widen in shock.)
Sakshi : Tumhe yeh sab kaise pata?
Shree : Maine old records se Roshni ji ke thesis ke baare mein pata kiya. Tabhi maine ek story banakar Ayesha se kaha ki sir ko bata de.
Sakshi : Par kyun?
Shree : Kyunki tum nahi chahti ki sach saamne aaye.
(Sakshi’s breath catches. She suddenly feels cornered.)
Sakshi (voice trembling): Kaunsa sach?
Ayesha : Jo hum sab ko nahi pata… jo tum chhupa rahi ho.
Shree: Don’t worry, Sakshi. Hum tumse yeh sawaal nahi puchenge.
Sakshi: Aisa kuch nahi hai, Shree.
Shree : Maine tumhare ghar mein Arjun sir aur tumhari tasveerein dekhi thi, Sakshi.
Sakshi (whispers): Tumne tabhi kyun nahi poocha?
Shree : Kyunki tum share nahi karna chahti thi. Tum dil se bahut achhi ho, Sakshi. Sabka khayal rakhti ho. Tum hum sabki achhi dost ho… hamesha humari problems ka solution tumhare paas hota hai. Par tum hume apna dost nahi maanti… isliye kuch batana nahi chahti. It’s fine.
Ayesha (placing a hand on Sakshi’s shoulder): Sakshi, baat kya hai? Hum hain tumhare saath. Share karne se mann halka ho jaayega.
Shree : Koi faayda nahi, Ayesha. Woh hume kuch nahi batayegi. Hum uske liye sirf colleagues hain, doston ki tarah nahi. Don’t waste your time. Chalo, Ayesha.
(Ayesha and Shree turn to leave.)
Sakshi (voice breaking): Arjun aur main… ek doosre se pyaar karte t
he.
(Ayesha and Shree freeze in their tracks. Slowly, they turn back.)
Ayesha : Pyaar?
Sakshi : Haan. Tum logon ko sunna hai na ki Arjun aur mera rishta kya tha? Toh sunne ke liye tayaar ho jao.
