Chapter-49

The next day, Arjun decided to call sameer to calm his uneasiness. Shree who came to talk with sameer noticied his phone ringing continuously and looked around for him, picking up the mobile, he frowned at the private number, hesistated to lift, yet his curiosity won and lifted the call not at all anticipating to hear the one voice he is longing to hear stood stun.

Arjun from other side yelled, "Sam phone uthane mei kitna time lagega!" frowned as no reply came, called out "Sam? Sam? tum theek hoh?" again regarded with silence, narrowed his eyes but hearing a deep breath he closed his eyes, "Chote!" calling out his name.

Shree with a lump in his throath whispered, "Bhaiya!" controlling his emotions.

Getting a grip, "kaise hoh?" Arjun questioned him softly.

"theek huh!aap?" Arjun sensed his thick voice, knew at any moment he would cry, replied "tumhare awaz sunke mei abh bilkul theek huh! Tum dawai time pe le rahe hoh na?" .

"haa bhaiya! aap kahape hoh? wapas kab arahae?" shree questioned slowly as he was missing him so much.

"Time lagega chote, mei location nahi batasaktha aur tum mujhe tap nahi karoge samje!" he said knowing his brother very well, while shree pouted, "Bhaiya!"

"nahi chote! I am serious, jaise mission khatam hoga hum wapas ajayenge. Bas do din ki baat hai, yaha ka kaam lagbag hochuka! Tum bas apna dyaan rakho, mujhe koi complications nahi chahiye samje!"

"Mujhe aapke madat karna hai! Please mei bhi waha atha huh!" He asked.

"Chote agar tum sach mei mera madat karna chahte toh apne dyaan rakho aur sam ke har baat mano! Mereliye wahi kafi hai! Karoge na jaise mei chahta waise!" He asked gently

Shree nodded looking up as Sam came out of washroom drying his hair with towel, " Chote tum yaha? aur kaun hai phone mei?" noticing his red eyes, "Kya hua? Kiska phone tha!" He panicked.

Taking the phone he sighed, wrapping arms around his shoulders, caressing his arms "Arjun?"

"Haa theek hai woh!" listening to the purpose of his call, sam looked at shree who was silent, nodded, "Sab theek hai! Acha bye! Apna dyaan rakho!" closing the call he stared at him, "Chote!"

"Bhai, aap mujhse jhoot bole?"

"Arjun nahi chahta ki koi usse contact kare unless woh khud call kare! waha jane ke baad aaj pehli baar call kiya, woh bhi yeh jaane keliye ki tum theek hoh ki nahi?" he revealed going towards the mirror.

"Aapko pata haina woh kaha hai?" Shree questioned slowly staring at him, "Toh batate kyu nahi aap? Mujhe bhi waha jana hai!" He asked.

"Shree! Issliye nahi bataya meine, kyunki pata lagte hih tum waha jane ki zidh karoge! Agar Arjun ko humhari jaruart hai woh jarur madat mangegha lekin tab tak hum ya tum koi waha nahi jayega, samje! Abh jao aur nashta karlo, office keliye der horaha humhe!" Sam said firmly, watching him he softened his face going towards him, " I know ki tum Arjun ko bahut miss karrahe hoh, humsab bhi, par woh duty pe hai chote and we can't afford to distract him!"

"I know bhai, Sorry!"

Squeezing his shoulder, "Hmm, jao abh! Mei ready hokhe atha huh!"

Otherside Sakshi looking at him, "Arjun, kaisa hai woh?"

"Theek hih lagraha, bewaja pareshan horaha tha mei!" He sighed looking at her.

"Yeh toh hona hih tha na Arjun, aapdono ko adat Hogai ek dusre ke saath rehna aur jis halath mei hum aye usko waha ghayal chodke fikar toh hoga na!" She confronted him ruffling his hair, placing a kiss.

Arjun suddenly pulled her on to his lap startling her, "Yeh kya karrahe aap?"

Holding her waist, he cupped her face with one hand, "Thankyou Jaan! Agar tum saath ane ki zidh nahi karthi, mei bahut akela hojata!"

"Aur mei apko kabhi akela hone hih nahi dunghi. Jaldi yaha ke kaam nipatlete hum, mujhe bhi ghar ki bahut yaad arahi!" She whispered leaning on to his chest.

Playing with her long hairs, he placed gentle kisses, "Bahut jald hum wapas jayenge Jaan!" Both carving for eachother. They got disturbed as someone knocked on their door.

At one part of the city, in a house, shikender called his trusted members for a meeting. "Itne din hogai aur tumlogon ko ek surag nahi mila!"

"Bhai! Humhare admi bahut koshish karrahe, lekin kuch nahi milraha....ETF ke har insaan ki files bahut hih secured database mei store kiya! Jisse break karna mushkil horaha!" one of his right hand informed him.

Shikender clenched his fist, he was frustated and angry of not getting lead on patan also his plans of killing the team were backfiring. Looking at photo he picked it up, "Shreekanth Sen! Har baar bach rahe hoh lekin iss baar nahi, iss baar aisa vaar karunga ki ya toh tum marogi yaa zinda laash banoge! I promise! Aaj tak shikender se koi nahi bacha aur tum bhi nahi bachoge!"

"Sunha hai Arjun Rawte sheher mei nahi, yeh perfect time hai vaar karne keliye! Nihal tum apne admion se kaho, kal ke Suraj uski zindagi mei akhir suraj hona chahiye!" Shikender gritted his teeth.

At the same time his pa came informing about the scheduled meeting. "Akhir RR group ne mere saath meeting karne keliye maan gaye!" Going towards Sakshi photo he traced it, "Mei araha huh miss Sakshi!" He smirked evilly.

Next-day he reached RR, who was received by Ali. Seeing him Shikender urf Sanjay Goenka narrowed his eyes nonetheless followed him to conference room. He controlled his anger as Sakshi was not visible took the seat.

"Mr Goenka! Meet Mr Suryakanth Rawte and Mr Rajveer Rathod! The pride of RR group!" He shook hands with them with firm expression.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Mr Rawte and Mr Rathod!" He nodded.

Suryakanth noticed he was searching for something asked, "aap kuch dundh rahe?"

Masking his expression, "Sorry! But Belive mei, mera London se itne dur ane ki wajah apke company ki CEO Miss Sakshi! I was impressed with her skills, in the London meet! Mei chahta huh ki woh mere project take up kare!" He gave a innocent smile.

But as soon as they listened to him, Suryakant hardened his eyes, Rajveer kept a hand on his discreetly to calm him down, looked at Sanjay, "Mr Goenka! Humhara company bahut sare projects deal karrahe as of now aur joh London project mila it's a prestigious offer for us. Aur sakshi usske alawa koi projects ya meetings take up nahi karegi! Infact woh sheher mei hih nahi! I hope you understand, Mr Ali Khan here is also very competent! He will be dealing with you!"

Sanjay clenched his fist but didnot show it in front of them, nodded as he desperately wanted to be associated with RR, to get close to Sakshi! "It's okay Mr Rathod! I understand!"

They discussed the terms and conditions and signed the deal. "Come on! Join for lunch!" Suryakant invited which he was about to reject but accepted to analyse them as their son's are his target.

He followed them who were showing him company and introducing others. They halted suddenly as someone bumped into him making him angry, "What the!" But got shocked seeing Shree, who started apologising

Shree who was unaware of his presence bumped into him sending him back. "Sorry! Sorry!" He apologized looking at him but got negative vibes seeing him which he brushed away.

Their staring session was halted as Suryakant from behind, called him, "Shree!"

Looking at his dad who had angry expression Shree gulped "Hey deva! Dad to bahut gusse mei hai!" gave innocent smile, "Sorry sir!" showing puppy eyes.

Suryakant catching his hand, "Rajveer tum Mr Goenka ko dinning hall lejao! Hum abhi athe hai! Shree to my office now" Saying he started dragging shree to his cabin whom he followed with head down.

Inside, He left his hand and started Scolding, " Yeh sab kya hai shree? Aap bache nahi hai aur Yeh office hai ghar nahi!"

"I know dad! I am sorry!" He tried to avoid the scoldings but Suryakant narrowed his eyes, " waise aap yaha kya karrahe?"

"Dad! Woh Ali se milne aya! Kuch kaam tha usse!"

Otherside Sikhender frowned witnessing their interaction from outside, Rajveer watching him, "Mr Goenka! What is it?"

"Who is he?" His words came out.

"Shreekanth sen! ETF tech expert! Humahre bete ke saath kaam karthe aur Ali ke best friend hai toh aksar yaha aya kartha hai woh! Humhare apne jaisa hai!" Rajveer replied asking him to follow who nodded still suspicious.

"Dad...mei jao!" Shree asked meekly trying to escape the scoldings.

"Kaha? Abhi tak humhara baat pura nahi hua! Beitho!" Suryakant ordered him taking his place.

As he turned his back, Shree rolled his eyes "yeh kaha phasgaya mei! Bhaiya bhi nahi mujhe bachane!" He thought but looked straight as his dad was glaring at him.

"Shree!" And Suryakanth started lecturing him about safety health etc which he tuned out after few minutes playing with the paper weight. Finally, at the end, "Arjun bhi naraz hogaya aapke harkathon se, I am warning shree, aap apna dyaan rakhenge, warna mujhe mazboran aapke shaadhi karwana hoga!"

Hearing it he shot up from his place in shock, "Dad are you serious, Shaadi!"

"Mere umar hih kya hain ki aap mere Shaadi ke baare mei sochrahe! I am not interested dad aur jabtak uss shikender ko pakad nahi leta yeh sab koi mayine nahi!"

"Shree! Yehi pagalpan chodne keliye bolraha mei!" Suryakant chided him firmly.

Looking at his dad shree stomped his feet, "bina baat ke lecture derahe aap! Aur waise bhi woh client itna important kyu hai apko, jiske liye mujhe itna sunaya gaya.....dekhne mei bhikari ki tarah hai!"

"Shree!" Suryakant narrowed his eyes standing from his place.

"Ha haa! Pata nahi mera naam shree hai, toda pyaar se lijiye acha lagega, bhaiya ne bahut pyaar se yeh naam rakha aur aap usse bhigadiye mat!" He complained but yelled out "Ouch!" as Suryakant cuffed his ear.

"Chup kar besharam, agar woh sunleta toh?"

"Toh sunhe dijiye mei jhoot todina bhol raha! Sach hih toh kaha, dekhe nahi kaise ghoor raha tha mujhe!" He huffed and glaring at his dad,

"Aur Aap na bhaiya ke gair maujood mei mujhpar jhor lagarahe complain karunga mei unke aneke baad, tab woh aapko arrest karenge!" Shree smirked in victory as Suryakant left his ear, "Yeh huyi na baat!" Which was shot lived as he jumped, yelling "Oww!" feeling sting as Suryakant hand came in contact with his back, caressed the place, "Dad!" With a whine.

"Nakhre bandh karo! Bada aya bhai ke chamche!" Suryakant shook his head with a fond smile never getting bore of his youngest antics.

"Yaha avo!" He opened his arms to him who flew right into them. Caressing his back, "love you beta!" Kissing his head.

Soaking into his dad embrace, he mumbled, "Love you too dad!" As he had same aura of Arjun around him in which he seeks comfort in absence of his brother.

Ruffling his hair, "mujhe der horaha shree!" Suryakant mumbled as he was not leaving him. After few minutes shree left his embrace felt emptyness surrounding him, which his dad noticed, sighed "Shree! Long drive aaj shyaam ko?"

"Ofcourse dad! Mere car aur drive bhi mei hih karunga!" Shree's mood immediately lifted as longdrives with his dad was always fun becoz he was allowed to drive mostly.

Meeting Ali he came down, this tiem shikender wantendly bumped into him. Staggering back, "Dekhe nahi chal sakthe, andhe hai kya tum?" He said irritatedly as becoz of him he got scoldings.

Shikender glared at him hardly, " Listen!"

Pointing his finger, "No you listen! Haa mana ki mujhe upar dekhe chalna chahiye tha! Galati hua aur maafi bhi maangna meine, But iskamatlab yeh nahi tum mujhe daka doge!" He glared adopting his brother look, which scares criminals.

Ali who was beside him, "Shree chup! I am sorry Mr Goenka! Mera friend todha pagal hai! Chalo!" and dragged him from there.

Once they were out of hearing range, Ali left his hand, "kya tha woh?"

"Areh yaar iskekaran dad se class sunha pada!" He grumbled but leaving his thoughts, he said, "Chodo aaj mei dad ke saath drive pe jaraha huh!" He said excitedly.

"Shree tumhe pata haina Arjun bhai ne mana kiya tujhe drive karne se!" He raised his eyebrow.

"Toh! Jis baat ka unhe pata nahi usse kuch nahi hoga!" Shree giggled.

"Tujhe lagata nahi, agar uncle ko sam bhai ne rokhliya aur unhe sab pata chalega toh kya hoga?"

"Oye chup! Dad mujhe zinda nahi chodega!" He hushed him.

Laughing at him, he shook his head, "I really don't know, bhai kyu abhitak yeh baat chuparaha gharwalon se!"

"Mujhe kya pata! Itna janta huh ki dad mujhe chodega nahi pata hone ke baad! Chalo mujhe jana hoga!" He mumbled walking towards exit.

"Chalo mei drop kardeta huh!" Ali suggested but he shook his head, "tujhe takleef lene ki jaruart nahi! Chotu araha hai! Mei kehraha huh pagal hojaunga ek din mei! Iss shikender ke karan mujhe privacy hih nahi mila rah! Dekho waha kaise nazar rakhrahe mujh par! Chodunga nahi kamine ko mei!" He gritted his teeth.

"Acha chodna mat tum! Chalo bahar tak atha huh!" They walked outside.

Chotu was already waiting for him so he bid bye to Ali.

"Chotu case kya hai?" He asked immediately getting into the vehicle.

"Ek school student lapata hai Rathod sir aur baki team waha hai! Humhe bhi jana hai!" He informed driving towards the destination, not realsiing his every move was being watched and someone was following him.

Taking the phone number he started tracing it, "Chotu yahase left!"

"Shree! Humhe location pe jana hoga!" Chotu replied with a frown .

"Trust me chotu! Humhe woh ladka yahi milega, mei bhai ko phone kartha huh!" Saying he informed the team reach there.

Stopping at abandoned building which is away from public, both came out of vehicle going inside slowly. They halted looking at a bag, Chotu picked it up while Shree frowned pulling out the paper which was sticking out. Looking at it he sighed, moving forward.

They came to halt listening to a voice, hid behind peeking to see and noticed two boys of same age talking with eachother.

Hearing Their talks, shree remembered similar scenario but shaking his head, he stepped towards them, "Raghav!" Startling the kids who stood up nervously guilt all over their faces.

"Aap kaun?" They stepped back in fear, but shree dropping his gun, took out his I'd, "Shreekanth, ETF!"

"Daro mat kuch nahi karunga, yeh batao tum yaha kya karrahe hoh?" He coaxed gently taking steps towards them.

They looked nervously making him sigh, "Raghav I know tum apne results apne dad ko dhikane mei darrahe haina?" chuckled when the boy lifted his head.

"Aapko kaise pata?"

"Tumhare bag mei report card hai! Par Raghav yeh tumahra future decide nahi karega! Kyu ghar se bhag aye hoh! Tumhare mom-dad bahut parshan hai! Chalo mere saath!"

"Nahi apko nahi pata! Dad mujhe bahut maarega woh pehle ki kaha ki agar mujhe ache marks nahi aye toh woh mujhe chodnege nahi!" He pleaded.

"Raghav I understand!" Shree tried to pacify him but the boy snapped, "Aapko kaise pata aapko mere jaise dad hoga toh pata chaltei! Mei unko bahut disappoint kiya!"

"Trust me Raghav mei bhi kabhi tumhare jagah tha! Apne bhai ko bahut dissapoint kiya ek baar! Par guess what woh mujhe maaf kiya! Bache jitna bhi galti karke bade sab maaf karthe, haa saza toh milege lekin woh bhi humhe shikane keliye hih hoga! Aur I guess tumhara dad bhi samjega agar tum unhe apne point of view bina dare unke samne rakhoge toh!" He said gently.

Observing his face which gone in thinking he glanced at Chotu. The kid looking up, "Mujhe ek doctor nahi banna! Mujhe Architecture mei interest par dad nahi manega!"

"Ek baar kehke toh dekho! Woh log bahut pareshan hai beta!" Shree caoxed him. "Agar tum chahte toh mei tumhare saath dunga apne dad se baat karthe wakth!" He assured and sighed when he nodded.

They got startled as they were surrounded by masked people who aimed their guns at them. Shree covering the kids, tried to pull out his gun but to his horror he realised that he dropped the gun which one of the enemy picked up.

"About time Shreekanth! Akhir humhara mulakat hua!"

"Kya chahiye!" He snapped trying to look for escape.

"Hoshiyari karne ki sochna bhi mat!" He warned firing into air while Shree smirked, "Galat khadam!" with folded hands.

"Pagla gaye kya?" One of the goon laughed but their laugh changed into shock as few people surrounded them pointing their guns.

"Issliye kehte, pehle jashn nahi manana hai!" Shree gritted his teeth. "Yaha aake bahut bade galti kiya tumlog!"

"Chotu! Bachon ko bahar lejao!" He turned his attention to the kids who were afraid softened his look, "Daro mat! Hum haina kuch nahi hone denghe! I promise!" He ruffled their hairs.

"Shree mei tumhe akele chodke nahi jane wala! Tum bhi chalo!" Chotu replied but Shree shaking his head, "Chotu yeh humhara jang hai inn masum ki jaan par nahi ane desakthe hum! Tum jao I will be fine!!"

"Apna farz nibhao chotu!" He said. Reluctantly Chotu asked the boys to follow him. Seeing opportunity Alex one of the goon grabbed the kid pointing a gun onhis head, shocking them.

Shree snatching the gun from Khanna took a step forward, "Bache ko chodo!" He growled, but Halted as the person tightened his hold on the child.

"Dekho joh bhi hain humlogon ke beeche hai, bache ko chodo!" Shree asked softly as he couldn't let innocent get hurt.

"Theek kaha! Humhe keval tum chahiye apne aadmion se kaho ki hathyar phekdhe aur peeche hathjaye! Phir jane dunga iss bache ko!" He said keeping pressure on the child who screamed, "bhaiya humhe bachao!"

Making a swift decision, he dropped his gun, raising his hands, "Everyone drop your weapons and step back!" which startled them.

"Sir!" Khanna tried to interject but

"It's an order!" Shree growled making them do as he said. The security against their better judgement, did as he said and stepped back. The head goon Robert signalled a person who collected them keeping with them.

"Dekho tum jaise chahte waise kiya! Usse choddho! Dushmani mujhse haina bachon ko jane dho!" He pleaded looking at the kids who were afraid.

"Theek hai! Lekin koi hoshiyari nahi apne saathi se kaho ki chupchap bachon ko le chale yaha se!"

Shree nodded at Chotu who with a defeated sigh, took hold of the kids and starting walking towards exit.

"Tumne bahut sataya humsabko! Tumhare karan bhai bahut gusse mei hai!" He glared venomously at him.

"Dartha nahi uss kamine shikender se! aur na peeche se vaar kartha hum!" Shree spat glaring at them, suddenly stepped back as one of the goon kicked him hardly.

"Sir!!" The security yelled out for him, who were held captive by goons, as their one move could be dangerous.

Shree was about to fight back but got restrained as two people held his hands stopping his movements.

"Bahut bade galti karahe hoh!" He yelled trying to stall the time as backup would be arrived very soon, got rewarded by a tightslap that the corner of his lip got cut, due to force. catching his jaw tightly, " jyada zubaan mat chalao!" tied him to chair, "Muh bandho rakho warna!" The goon warned him.

"Warna kya, maarna hai toh jaldi maardho agar mei zinda bachaungha toh tumeise ek bhi zinda nahi bachega!" He warned provoking them but instead got punched on the face, hot pain rushing through his body, felt blood tickling through his noise but didnot show it not to give satisfaction for them.

Chuckling at them sarcastically, "Tsk! Tsk! bas itna hih takath hai kya shikender ke kutton ke paas! Tumhare kamine bhai tumlogon ko kuch khane keliye dete ki nahi!" He spat disgustedly, which angered them.

"Shikender bhai ke khilaf ek lafz nahi!" They growled, taking out a knife he made deep cuts on his both wrists, blood gushing out, laughed as Shree hissed in pain.

"Yeh toh kuch bhi nahi Shreekanth, abhi bahut takleef dena baki hai! Tum aur tera woh ACP Rawte, bhai ke naak mei dam karke rakha hai! Aaj ek khanta khatam hoga uske baad tere team ke baari ayega! Shukar karo ki bhai pehla tumhe maarna chahta, kyunki tumhare team ke ek ek insaan ko aisa marange hum ko koi phir bhai ko challenge nahi karega" He smirked.

Shree fighting with his dizziness, "uss kamine ke tarah hum peeche se vaar nahi karthe! Aur jitna torcher karna hai karlo kyunki I guarantee tum log yaha se zinda nahi jaapavoge!"

"Band kar apna bakwas! Alex jaldi karo!" He yelled at other person. The security watched helplessly as shree was being tortured..

Shree yelled out painfully as needle was jabbed into his arm mercilessly, followed by others on the same place. Unable to tolerate the pain he cried out, "Ahhhh!" Which brought a sadistic smile on their faces.

The goon removed his binds, caughg his jaw tightly with his hand, with a satisfied smile noticing tears in his eyes, pressed harshly on his arm, digging fingers deeply that they pierced into his skin, "Ahhhh!"

"Aur chillao! Tumhare yeh dard humhe sukoon deraha! Aur waha dekho!" Pulling his hair that his face was lifted up slightly he showed the camera, " waha dekho! tumhe aise dekhe bahut maza raha bhai ko! Aur isse jyada maza tabh ayega jab yeh video tumhare team aur uss ACP Rawte tak paunchega!"

"Shreekanth Sen! Yeh drug tumhe ander se khaa jayega, it will show you your darkest fears!" Slapped his face harshly as Shree was slipping into unconsciousness. Holding on to his ground, fighting the drug he spat on his face, "Bahut badi galti karrahe hoh! Tumlogon ko pata nahi ki anjaam bahut bura honewala hai!"

"Anjaam bura toh lekin tumhara humahar nahi kyunki Abhi aur tourture jhelna hai tumhe!" They threw cold water on him, making him flinch. This was all live telecasted to shikender who had a evil smirk, "Bahut uchal raha tha mere samne! Mujhe warning deraha aur yeh bhi nahi jana paya ki uske dushman samne hai! RR ke through mei apne dono maksad pura karunga!" Called his men to start final torture.

While Shree was tortured who was getting beared as the drug made his body shutdown. He was pushed pulled by the goons who were laughing at his state.

The team who came as soon as possible got startled when Chotu came back with kids. Sameer looking at him, "Shree kaha hai?"

Chotu hesitated but replayed what all happened, "Damnit usko akele kyu chodke aye hoh!" Sam yelled walking towards the abandoned building furiously.

"Liza bachon ko paas raho! Humhe shree ko bachana hai!" Ayesha assuring her followed Sameer who is not less than an angry Lion.

"Sameer! Rukhiye isstarah bina plan ke ander jayenge toh shree ke jaan khatremei padega!" She tried to stop him but Sam pushed her hand, "Ander mera bhai kishalath mei hai pata nahi aur tumsab ko plan ki padhi! I dont care, koi ek bhi zinda nahi bachna chahiye! First shoot then ask questions! Is that clear!" He ordered moving inside where the place was filled with goons.

Sameer not even waiting for a second started firing ignoring his safety, as they came closer to where shree was held, Sam stopped hearing his brother painful voice for a minute, not only he the team stood on their places as Shree heart wrenchful voice came through.

Inside Khanna watching how Shree was being tortured, glancing around he nodded at other person, both at a time took hold the goons who had held them capitative knocked them out. Grabbing their guns they started shooting the others not giving them a chance. Chaos ensued as bullets fired at eachother.

Shree who was sidelined form them was panting and freely swayed taking steps, clutching his head as blood came out of his mouth. The drug which was in his bloodstream making him hallucinate Arjun everywhere, who tried to hold on to him.

Sameer and team hearing gunshots, shot at the last one who was guarding the place barrelled inside, came to halt looking around as the security was taking on the goons. He searched for his brother came to halt in horror as shree was dangerously close to a edge without any sense shouted, "Shree!" Grabbing all attention, who were afraid and tried to escape but Robert resigned.

"Ayiye ACP Rathod! Apne team member ke maut ke tamash apne ankhon se dekho!" Robert smirked, who was held by the guard got a hard blow "mujhe pata hai iskebaad mei zinda nahi rahuga par joh sukoon tumhare team member ko torcher karthe mila usse aage maut bhi kuch nahi!" With a smile but it was shot lived as Sameer fired at his leg taking him by suprise, "Belive me! Yeh kuch nahi, uske badan se aye har woh ek khoon ke boondh ka hisab lungha mei!"

"Sir! Shree!" His team yelled.

Sam who was moving fast dived to held on to shree who was a step behind from falling. Shree who was drugged, tried to hold on to his brother not realising where he was or where he is going except following a mirage of his brother.

All held their breaths staring at the view without blinking their eyes. Sam at Nick of moment caught his hand and hauled him back taking him on to ground along with him, making other sigh in relief.

Shree tried to free his grip, "Chodo! Mujhe bhaiya ke paas jana hai!" He yelled thrashing his arms. Sam held his hands stopping him from hurting himself, "Chote, yaha dekho! Apne bhai ki taraf dekho bacha! Arjun nahi hai yaha!" He tried to bring him out of his state.

Shree wriggled in his arms trying to move away, Sam held on to him tightly, "Bacha please meri awaz sunhe ki koshish karo!" He whispered with tears.

Exhausted Shree felt limp in his arms sending him into panic. "Chote! Ankhe kholo! Bacha please aise darao mat apne bhai ko!" He shook shree trying to wake him, in panic as blood came out of his mouth.

Ayesha who noticed his state, knelled before them checking for Shree breath sighed, "Sameer, humhe shree ko hospital lejana hai jaldi! He needs medical attention pata nahi kounsa drug diye gaye isse!"

Taking notice of his wrists, she tied handkerchief to stop the bleeding. Sam lifelessly lifted him into his arms, not even glancing at anyone started walking. Placing him gently on the back of car, without turning he said, "Khanna, sabko maar dho ek bhi bachna nahi chahiye! Siwai yeh dono ko! Isse humhre basement mei rakho!"

The team shuddered in fear as his voice was low, without any emotion sending chills while the security nodded. Robert and Alex didnot understand what's going on as they were beat black n blue by the security.

Climbing in to car, he held shree staring at his face, leaving his team who followed them in other car.

Entire ride he talked two times, one to inform Kabir and other to their parents about what happened. His thoughts still stuck of seeing his brother whom he was about to lose.

"Bacha please ankhe kholo!" He pleaded silently praying to every god to make him allright.

Kabir who was waiting, immediately shifted shree to ER controlling his emotions watching his state. Vivek stopped Sam, "Please Sir! Isse agae aap nahi aasakthe!"

"I promise shree ko kuch nahi hoga!"

Sam let got Shree's hand, as the doors got closed taking his brother from out of his sight he fell on his knees lifelessly, shocking the team who stepped to give him comfort but stopped as someone else held him.

"Badepapa! Mei haar gaya, chote ko safe nahi rakhpaya, I failed you!" He cried into his chest, hugging the man.

"Shh! humhare beta kabhi nahi harega! Shree theek hoga aap sambhaliye apne aap ko!" Suryakant despite breaking inside consoled him.

He pulled him up and made him sit on the chair, "Gayu!" Who took him into his embrace. Manish who was with them silently cleaned Sam's injuries which he got during the shootout. Not the Sam paid any attention.

Suryakant standing, stared inside through the door watching his son who was surrounded by various machines, drawn back to past. A tear escaped his eye....Rajveer keeping a hand on him, "Surya!"

"Raj! Mere bete ko kuch nahi hoga na!" He asked silently.

"Nahi kuch nahi hoga! Woh bahut strong hai Surya! Sambhalo! Sameer thuth chuka hai, Arpita ko dekho jao usse sambhalo! Arjun nahi hai yaha, apne maa ya bhai ko sambhalne keliye! Humhe strong rehna hai insab keliye!" He consoled him.

Glancing at his wife, took steps towards her, knowing what she is going through. Though she wouldn't say but everyone in family knew that light fever in shree would send her into panic kept hand on her shoulder, "Arpita!"

Looking up, "Surya! Mera beta!"

"Arpita sambhalo humhare bete ko kuch nahi hoga!" He whispered wrapping arms around her.

"Surya, mei mar jaunga agar usse kuch hoga toh!" She cried holding on to him.

"Arpita please, rona mat, mujhe tumhari jarurat hai, agar tum tooth jaoge toh uss bhai jiske snaanse apne chote mei hai, usko ko kaun sambhalega! Shree keliye, Arjun keliye iss parivaar keliye humhe sambhalna hoga! Mei akele Arjun ko sambhal nahi pavunga, tumhari jarurat padegi!" He tried to reason as his one more big worry apart from shree is his elderson who will be uncontrollable after knowing this.

The team who watched their vunerability felt sad, as it was first time watching their cheif totally lifeless. "Shree ke yeh halath insab pe aisa asar dhikarahe toh Arjun aur Sakshi par kaisa asar dhikayega!"

It was then they realised in horror that Arjun was not informed yet.

"Aise halath mei kaise kahu unse, Arjun kaise react karega kisko pata nahi!" She frowned nonetheless moved towards him as except him no one can reach Arjun.

Watching her, "Beta aap Sameer ko sambhaliye mujhe Arpita ke paas jana hai!" Gayatri stood going from there.

"Sameer!" She called him softly, holding his hand but Sam just stayed silent not giving a reply staring at the door which he was doing from the time they got back.

"Aapko nahi lagta shree ke bare mei Arjun ko inform karne chahiye!" She said slowly but Arjun name itself sent him into guilt, "Kaise! Kaise aur kis muh se kahu ki uske bhai ki hifazat nahi karpaya aur woh abh hospital mei hai! Kaise Uss bhai ke narze milao jiske pura sansar shree hai!" He whispered in guilt.

His self thrashing was stopped when nurse came out hurriedly, stood up , "Shree kaisa hai?"

Shaking her head, "Mr Rawte?"

"Ji!" Suryakant came leaving Arpita with Gayatri.

"please aap ander ayiye Dr Kabir bhularahe aapko!" Suryakant followed her while Sam tried yo follow him, Rajveer stopped, "Beta Rukho!" Sighing he looked inside through the door watched helplessly as Shree was thrashing on the bed making difficult to treat, which hurt him.

"Badepapa! Aap usse calm karne ki koshish kijiye! bina jane kounsa drug diye mei sedative nahi desaktha!" Kabir replied struggling to keep him calm.

Nodding he held Shree's hands gently stopping his movements, who calmed down instantly as his presence calmed him.

Sighing Kabir treated his wounds which were superficial, expect the wound on his arm which was swelled. looking up, he said, " filal he is stable par jabtak woh drug kya hai pata nahi lagta humhe nahi pata kya hoga!" Taking blood, he handed to nurse, "Mujhe jaldi saare blood analysis chahiye!" Who nodded going out

"Drugs flush out karne ki procedure start kiya humne!" He turned to Suryakant who was caresseing shree sleeping face.

"Sister! Yeh lekar avo jaldi!" Kabir wrote prescription. Taking his stethoscope he checked his breathing and pulse noted them.

"He will be fine right!" Suryakant looked up for answers.

"Badepapa mei abhi kuch nahi kehsakthe! But I promise jabtak mei huh chote ko kuch nahi hone dungha! Aap jaldi khoon ki intezaam kijiye! Bahut blood loss hua! Drugs flush out hote hih blood transfusion start karna hai!" He replied and saw him nodding.

The sister came back with medicines, Asking her to draw the medicine into syringe he started injecting them into the IV.

Giving glance he nodded at him to come out. As soon as he stepped out sam fired his questions, "Kaisa hai woh?"

He repeated what he told inside, looking at Sam he growled, "Kya hua?"

Sam narrated what all he was filled in. Removing his coat "Chalo! Mujhe unn dono se baat karna hai!" He stated firmly.

But their fathers stopped them, "Nahi! Abhi koi kahi nahi jayega! Kabir pehle shree ko theek hone dho phir joh karna hai karlo hum aaplogon ko nahi rokenghe!" Rajveer told them.

Sighing, he nodded. "Arjun ko bataya aaplog?" But noticing their faces, he looked horrified, "Apne chote ke yeh halath aap Arjun se chupa nahi sakthe! He will be mad!" He stammered incredulously.

"Hum chupana nahi chahte! Par usko bina bataye wapas kaise bhulaye hum! Sakshi akeli handle nahi karpayegi!" Suryakant mumbled as it would be difficult to handle and control him.

"I know badepapa! Par indono ke beech joh rishta hai abhtak Arjun ko ehsaas hochuka hoga ki shree ke saath kuch galat hua!" He murmured silently, "Its matter of time ki kab Arjun pure baat janthe aur yaha bhaag ke athe!"

Unaware of that the said person along with Sakshi was on his way back to mumbai. Arjun who was excited to meet his brother felt pain in his heart in middle of journey but ignored it. "Jaan dekhna Shree bahut suprise hone wala hai!" He smiled

"Haa humhe laga aur kuchdin rukhna padega lekin thanks to the village police! Bahut madat kiya aur hum uss sarpanch ke chote bhai ko ranghe haathon pakda!" She replied looking ahead at the road.

"Haa!! Dho hafte apne bhai se dur rehna saza se kam nahi Jaan! Dekhna jaane ke baad usse ek shan keliye apne ankhon se dur nahi hone dunga,iss tarah achanak bina bataye ghayal chodke ane keliye makeup tho karna hoga mujhe!" He mumbled in guilt as he fought with him.

Chuckling at him, "Hmm! Usko laad karne keliye aapko kab bahane ki jarurat pada Arjun! Bachpan se aaajtak aapse jyada usse koi pamper nahi kiya!"

"Uski zidh pura karnekeliye aap kuch bhi karenge yeh humsab jante! Aur apka gussa uske baare mei kya kahu mei aap ek din usse naraz nahi rehsaktha! " She rolled her eyes.

"Kyu jaan jalan horahi?" Arjun smirked at her.

"Jalan woh bhi apne bete se! Kabhi nahi! Mei toh chahta huh ki aap mujhse bhi jyada usko pyaar kare!" Her reply brought pride in him.

Keeping one hand on her, "I am lucky Jaan! Tum jaisi jeevansangini milne keliye! Abh bas yeh umeed kartha huh ki joh koi bhi chote ke zindagi mei aye woh usse duniya ke saari khushiyon dhe! Woh bhi tumhari tarah humhe apnaye!"

"Usse utna hih pyaar kare jitna humsab karthe hai! Aur uske karan chote ko koi nuksaan nahi hona chahiye! Humhare parivaar ko ek saath jodkhe rakhe!" He told his wish and expectations, as it's very big thing for him.

Suddenly he pulled the break, gasping for air which startled her. "Arjun kya hua aapko!" She panicked watching him placing his hand on heart. Taking out water bottle she helped him drink it slowly, rubbing his back.

Once he was calmed, "Abh theek hai!" Watching him nod, "Kya hua?" She asked with worry,as she felt something which she couldn't pinpoint.

Shaking his head, he took out his mobile dialling Shree's number but it was switch off which worried him. "Jaan sam ko try karo! Kuch toh hua ghar mei! Aur aisa lagraha ki chote takleef mei hai!"

Sakshi nodded as their intution about shree would never go wrong. Arjun speed up his car while sakshi tried calling family who didnot lift the calls.
