“Sakshi!” Arjun called out his colleague’s name as he entered her hotel room.
“Saaakkshhiii.” He called out again in a sing-song voice.
“Arjun?”
He looked to his side where the room’s balcony is supposed to be, and well there she was in her bridal lehenga and heavy jewelry. Arjun’seyes stayed transfixed on her as he carefully looked at all her features. Her big brown eyes complemented by eyeliner and shining under the afternoon sun rays. Her lips were soft with light pink lipstick. The gold nose ring adding onto her already pretty face. She smiled at him as she straightened her veil onto her head.
“Sakshi?” Arjun softly smiled at her.
You look beautiful.
He wanted to say, but before he could get a word out some girls dressed in fancy wedding clothes barged into the room and pushed him to the side before going towards Sakshi. Arjun sighed and straightened his tuxedo jacket.
Sakshi looked at him from behind the group of girls who had surrounded her complimenting her on her look. Arjun nodded at her and she immediately knew what it meant.
But then he gave her his soft smile again and she looked at him in confusion.
“You look good.” He mouthed at her.
A smile appeared on her face too and she looked down. Sure,Arjun changed after Sikandar died but this change was surprising to her. He was always playing pranks on her and flirting with her. It was unreal.
When she looked up after blushing for what felt like years, Arjun was gone. She mentally face palmed herself for being so shy in front of him.

Sakshi took a deep breath, hoping that everything would go as planned. She mentally went through to whatever Sameer told her. It was the time for the bride to show up and she felt her heart beating out of her chest.
This is it.
She thought before stepping into the big bright hall of the hotel where her “wedding” was held.
People around her, all dressed up in expensive clothes for the wedding, stood in awe as they looked at her. A bridal entry song played in the background. Then she felt a firm grip on her wrist, she looked up to find out it was Aisha dressed in a saree.
“Sakshi, don’t worry. We are ready on our positions. You did a good job till now, just be patient for five more minutes.” Aisha whispered in her ear before smiling widely for the people gathered around them.
As Sakshi neared the stage where her supposedly “groom” was seated her anxiety grew. She didn’t understand why the team chose her to go undercover as the bride.
Then something happened. The small earpiece in her ear came to life and she could hear Shree’s voice coming from it.
“Rathore sir, we got the evidence and the back up is here too as you ordered.”
“Then we should put an end to it all now, everyone get ready!” Sameer’s voice came in through the earpiece.
Then out of the crowd came in Sameer and Chhotu with their guns held in front of them and walked to the stage to arrest the groom as the whole room went into chaos. Aisha too took out her gun from somewhere and was arresting the other family members of the groom as people ran around screaming.
“Sakshi!” someone shouted from behind her and she knew that whoever that was didn’t want her to live as she made a fool of them by playing bride to be married in their family. But before she could react someone held her hand and yanked her back towards the exit. And soon they were out in the corridor which filled with the bright sunlight coming from its huge windows.
“Arjun?” she asked upon realizing whom she was running with.
“Run fast Sakshi, otherwise those goons will kill you.”
“Arjun I am wearing this heavily embroidered lehenga with jewelry and you are wearing just a tuxedo. How can you expect me to run?” She asked, irritated on the whole thing.
“Okay sorry, but you have to run.”
And before they know it they were out of the building and were running under direct sunlight.
And Sakshi felt as if time slowed down and she realized that she was experiencing a real-life fairy tale. Here she was in a whole wedding dress and running away from her own wedding with the man she loved. She looked at Arjun who was in front of her still holding her hand as they ran and thought if he felt the same. She noticed how his hair bounced in the sunlight.
“What is happening?” She laughed lightly.
“Oh well, I am saving your life like I always do,” Arjun shouted back.
She swatted at him to which he laughed in return.
And there she felt running in slow motion with him until they reached out of the hotel premises and he made her sit in the ETF SUV with Shree before going back in alone with his gun in hand.
“Sakshi, you did well yaar,” Shree said before smiling at her. She looked at him with a broad smile, “And by the way how was it to have Arjun sir rescue you?” Shree wiggled his eyebrows at her.
“Shut up Shree.” She glared at him. No matter how scared she was, today was one of the best days of her life.
