hello friends here is the first part of "kalank" in my version... let me tell you again... it is the story of messed up relationship... you might not like this kind of mess in relationship... but i feel this is the part of the story...in my opinion just extra marital affair is not enough for kalank... it has to be something bigger reason for kalank.... and if you guys dont like this just let me know... however, i rally hope you guys like this...

Part 1

1945

“kalank nahi tere ishq ka kajalhai piya,

Unn aankhon me junoon hai tereishq ka jiya

Sawalon ke kathgare ne humarasukoon jo liya

Naa chhodege haath kabhi tera yewada raha sathiya” (poem by moumita roy)

A village near jaipur… a wedding ceremony was going on… pandit was chanting mantra… a groom was sitting in the mandap with his face covered by his “shehra” … and after few minutes, panditji asked to bring bride there…. Bride’s friends brought bride out… her face was also covered in her goonghat… ther ewere some hesitant in her walk… she had made her feast tightly… her face was not visible but her body language was telling different story… she sat next to groom… and tears dropped on her palm… she was crying inside her ghoonghat….

“ye kya baat kr rahi hai aap masa…hum unse kaise shaadi kar shakte hai… umra me wo humare baap se bhi bade hai…kya Daulat hi sab kuchh hai… humariKhushi kuchh nahi” Riyasi pleaded to her mother…

“ye kaise baat kar rahi ho tumhamse… humne to tumhare babasa se pehle hi kaha tha… betiyon ko jyada padhanalikhana nahi chahiye tha… dekhlo natiza”… her mother said…

“dekho Riyasi beta… hum jantehai.. tumne apni shaadi ke liye kisi Rajkumar ke khwab dekhe hoge… magar khwabhaqeekat nahi ban shakte… aur fir zara apne baki bhai bahen ke bare me to soch…tumhare ek faisle se unki zindagi sawar jayegi”…. Her father tried to explainher…

“aur meri zindagi ka kyababasa”… Riyasi asked… and there was no answer for her question

Panditji asked Riyasi’s parents for kanyadan… riyasi couldn’tforwarded her hand so her mother forcefully put her hand into groom’s hand… hesaw tars dropped on riyasi’s palm… heclosed his eyes and took deep breath…

“ek aur jaan kurban ho gayi ise samaj ki rashmo ke naam” hethought….

Bride and groom took 7 feras, exchanged flower garlands withheavy heart… and bidaai time came… her mother, father, sister and brother werecrying bugging her…

When her mother hugged Riyasi she said, “aaj use agni kundme aapne apni beti ka kanyadan nahi agnisanskar kiya hai… aaj ke baad aap kibeti aaplogo ke liye mar chuki hai… ab humara rishta bhi yahi khatm masa”… andshe left…

Riyasi came to Birwaipur (which is near Pakistan border now…before it was part of india)…

A young girl was doing welcome ceremony… she did aarti andput rice kalash near her… riya kicked the kalash and entered in the Rathodmention… her mother in law, Dhanwanti Rathod came… riya touched her feet…

Dhanwanti: aao dulhan… swagat hai aapka… ye (the girl whodid aarti) Rajni hai… Suryakant ki chhoti beti… aaj khas tumhare liye aayi hai…shaadi kar apne sasural me khush hai (rajni’s smile became dull)

Riyasi was shocked… Rajni was 2 years older than her…

Rajni: swagat hai aapka chhoti thakurain…

Riyasi joined her hand to her…

Dhanwanti: aur ye tumhari nanand… leela baisa… (riyasitouched her feet) apne pati ke maut ke baad ye humare saath hi rehti hai … unkaek beta bhi hai Shreekant… filhal to wo apni paghai ke liye vilayt gaya huahai… Arjun ki tarah wo bhi vakalat kar raha hai…

Leela: are tumhe arjun ke bare me to bataya hi nahi… Arjunise ghar ka bada beta… Suryakantbhaisa ka bada beta… wo bhi London gaya huahai… bas wo aaj-kal me hi aane wala hai… uski padhai khatm ho gai hai…

Suryakant Rawte took his shehra off and was about to leavebut dhanwanti had stopped him….

Dhanwanti: Suryakant… kaha jaa rahe hai… abhi navedampati kipehli pooja baki hai…

Suryakant was blankly staring at his mother…. He didn’t say anything,but his eyes were saying so much but his mother was not able to listen him…Riyasi and Suryakant rathod performed a pooja together….

While everyone was busy in pooja, a young man entered inhaveli… he was surprised to see the haveli… it was decorated with flowers andlamps… he saw Suryakant Rathod wasperforming navdampati pooja with some woman whose face was covered… he made hisfeast in anger, and clinched his jaw… eyes filled with anger and he was takingheavy breath…

As rituals finished, everyone saw him standing there withanger…

Leela bua (shocked and scare): arjun beta….

Rajni, dhanwanti rathod and leela bua was worried seeingarjun there… they knew how mad arjun would be… they were looking at eachotherand tried to find a way to calm arjun down… but before they say or do anything…anrjun in anger went to Suryakant rathod and held his collar… Suryakant rathodwas standing calm… he was helplessly looking at arjun…

Arjun (angry, clinched his teeth and holding suryakant’scollar): agar Gandhiji ke aadarsho ko nahi apnaya hota to mein ise waqt aap kakatal kar deta… jeete ji meri maa ko koi Khushi nahi di aapne… aur aaj dusarishaadi bhi kar aaye… waise to badi duhai dete rehte ho aap… pyar, ishq aur najane kya… bahut hi ghatiya insan ho aap…

Dhanwanti: Arjun… ye kya tarika hai apne babasa se baatkarne ka… chhodiye inhe… aap shant hojaye… ye shaadi humare kehne pe hui hai…panditji ne kaha tha… ki Suryakant ki kundali…

Arjun looked at his grandmother with rage and anger anddhanwanti scared… she stepped back and becme quiet… she saw something in hiseyes… arjun pushed his father and leftfrom there… while he was leaving Chhotu, his childhood friend and driver, broughthis luggage in… Arjun: chalo chhotu… yaha se

Chhotu looked at suryakant and he gave permission, byblinking his eyes… and chhotu about to left when he saw Rajni was standingthere… he couldn’t see the happiness on her face… his heart ached… but he putall the thoughts behind his head and went to arjun

Riyasi who was witnessed all these drama was shivering… shehad no idea what was going on… through her goonghat, she tried to see arjun’sface but couldn’t see him properly…

At night Riyasi was sitting on her bed… Suryakant came intothe room… riyasi was really scared… she never wanted to marry this man and nowshe’s already his wife… she didn’t know how he would behave with her… she wasnot ready yet… her heart was beating faster… and whatever happened few hoursback, she thought he would be a monster… her mouth became dry and her handsfell cold… Suryakant sat on the chair in the room

Surykant (calm): dekhiye… mein janta hun… jo bhi thodi derpehle hua use aap pareshan hogi… par aap gabhraiye mat…ye to yaha roz hota hai…aur rahi baat ise shaadi ki to meine yeshaadi sirf masa ki zid ki wajah se ki hai… mein ise rishte me aap se koiummeed nahi rakhta… aap bhi mujhse koi ummeed na rakhe…darasal mein bhi kisiaur ko chahta hun, jise mein kabhi apna na paunga… aur haa aap ko ise ghar megoonghat karne ki zaroorat nahi hai… aap chahe to nikal dijiye…

Riyasi removed her goonghat and Suryakant saw her face andhe shocked…

Suryakant: aap to kafi chhoti hai umra me… kitne saal ki haiaap

Riyasi: 18

Suryakant (couldn’t believe it): maaf kijiyega…. Mujhe nahipata tha ki aap… kher… mein aap pe kisi tarah ka dabav nahi karuga… aap jochahe kar shakti hai aur jab chahe ise rishte se aazad bhi ho shakti hai… meritaraf se aap ko puri aazadi hai… apni zindagi apni marzi se jeene ki… aap sekoi kuchh nahi kahega… bas arjun se zara dur rahiyega… wo na jaane kya keh deaapse…

Saying this Suryakant rathod left the room and Riyasi tooksigh of relief… she took some deep breath… Suryakant rathod was not a badperson… but now her life had changed… she cried all night…

Suryakant’s car stopped behind some big house… he steppedout from car and was staring at house… he was listening a song, some woman inthat house was singing… and he felt peace…

His driver, usman, asked…” thakur saab… aap humesha yahaaate hai… yaha peechhe khade hoke gana sunte hai… unki ek zalak dekh ke chalejate hai… kab tak aise chalega? Ek baat humari samaj me bhi nahi aayi ki aapnedusra nikah kiya hi kyon? Agar…”

Usman stopped when, the lady who was singing was walking onher terrace came near the edge. afterlooking at moon, her gaze fell on Suryakant Rathod, who was standing behind herhouse… for a moment both of their breath stopped, and tears rolled down fromboth of their eyes… love was communicating through tears and silence… she leftfrom there and hid her self behind the pillar and cried… after so many yearsthe pain was the same… every time she saw him, she had similar effect…

Suryakant rathod broke down… usman felt really bad for him…he was not just a drive of Suryakant rathod but also a very good friend, andraazdar… he knew what had happened with him in the past, that was the reason hefelt really bad for his condition… he tried to consoled his friend….

“KYAKAHE ISHQ MEIN ISE QADAR BEZUBAAN HO GAYE….

KITUMSE JUDA HOKE HUM TABAAH HO GAYE… TABAAH HO GAYE”

don't know how love will blossom between them and I'm very curious to know that

it seems chotu loves rajni and I think rajni is not happy in her marriage
