I really wanted to keep this story away from pairs.. Some genuine attempt to give all leads equal importance.

PART 6:-

Arjun was sitting in his room with a locket in his hand and was gazing it intently and remembering his once-upon-atime Happy memories. Sanvi suddenly entered his room.

Sanvi: sorry wo cheeni ka dabba kaha hain?

Arjun: I don't stay here,

Sanvi: arjun coffee chahiye?

Arjun: no thanks.

Sanvi: arjun wo pendant tumhara...

(Doubtfully)

Arjun: mera wife ka hain

Sanvi: this World is very irony Mr. Arjun, we don't know theirnvalue when we have them around us, unke jaane ke baad everything of reminds of them.

Arjun nods and heads to the kitchen gives her the sugar box and moves back to his room without any conversation. She stared at his moving stature for a good time with all the weirdest expressions and then went to kitchen to make herself a coffee.

Sanvi: yeh Riya itni Ajeeb admi ko like kaise kiya? Pyaar andha hain na ..

Thinking about this she dozed off.

Next day morning:

Sanvi Just woke up by hearing Arjun's scream she ran towards Arjun in his room by the time she moved there everything was fine. And Arjun was panting sitting on the bed. She suddenly stopped seeing him normal.

Sanvi: sorry shayad koi bura sapna agaya mujhe aur maine socha ki aap .. ( after sometime) kuch nahi ...Mr. Arjun breakfast mein poha chalega?

Arjun: lekin..

Sanvi: empty dimaag jaise kaali pet bhi shaitaan ki ghar hothi hain. Pehle pet pooja baaki ka kaam duja. I willl prepare in 15 min and you get ready.

Arjun: we Just have 30 min. Get ready.

Sanvi: meri toh chutti hain na

Arjun: ha isliye you are coming with me.

Sanvi: lekin mein kyu?

Arjun: please don't irritate me, Just get ready we're leaving.

Saying this Arjun moved From there to his room in ishhtyle..

Sanvi: hostel warden...(shouting at him)

Everyone were sitting in the conference room and sakshi brought coffee to everyone. Arjun entered the room with sanvi

Sakshi: yeh yaha

Arjun: she will help us here

Sakshi: Lekin Arjun this is

Arjun: please don't reach me the rules. (Turning to Sam) and SIR she has security threats outside so it's safe to her if she will be with us.

Sakshi goes to sanvi offering a chair to sit. Arjun then went to his cabin. Shree went and took a seat beside sanvi

Shree: (whispers) sab theek haina?

Sanvi: (speaks in a low tone) ha sab theek hain

Shree: (wishpers) I mean Arjun sir ne kuch kaha

Sanvi: (whispers back) nahi, he is a sweet one

Shree: seriously ( shouts with surprise)

Everyone looks at them,they both ask for a excuse and moved out of that room.

Sanvi: tumhara problem kya hain?

Shree: tumne Arjun sir ko sweet bol rahe ho.

Sanvi: smm smm (act like sniffing) jalan

Shree: nahi, he is khadoos

Sanvi: yes he is and he is a overthinker too hamesha khoya khoya rehta hain. Man karte hain ke reason puchu?

Shree: did you ask? (Horrified)

Sanvi: nahi yaar,itna dosti nahi hui na

Shree: it will never happen, aur hone ke baare mein sochna bhi math.

Sanvi: kyu?

Arjun was passing by Shree's cubicle overheard this conversation.

Shree: ek Baar Riya bhi aisa hi over excite hoke kuch gadbad kiya phir usko mila tha ...( Mimicking) do din khaana bhi nahi khaya bechari ne.

Sanvi: sach mein itna rude insaan hain wo

Shree: Ha bahut rude insaan hain

Sanvi slowly moves to Shree and keeps her hand on his shoulder. Shree looks at her.

Sanvi: yeh ETF office hain yah maths book ( Shree looks at her confused) waha har page mein problems hain aur yaha har aadmi mein problems. Iss se acha maths book hi hain yaar, waha solve karne ke liye methods hogi Lekin yaha ...uffff

Shree: saanu chup hoja agar wo sun liya toh,

Sanvi: mein nahi darthi hun kisi se, waise bhi mein waisi admi nahi hun jo har mahine 1st ke salary le liye 31 days apni self respect ko shelf mein rakhega

Shree: Arjun sir.

Sanvi (horrified) : kaha

Shree: unke cabin mein.

Sanvi: Shree ke bachhe (seriously)

Shree: madam aap chronology samajhiye pehle pyaar, phir shaadi then bache. Pyaar hogaye thi hamara hum toh step 1 mein hi ruk gaya aur Tum final step ke baare mein baath kar rahi ho.

Sanvi: step 1 pe ruk nahi gaya, bas hamne give up kiya..kyu?

Shree: you didn't like my friendship with Riya hain na?

Sanvi: tumko yeh bhi nahi patha ki hum kyu alag hua, such a shame

They both stare at eachother awkwardly,

Sanvi: hamara jhagda persons ke liye nahi tha perspectives ka tha aur i loved Riya so much wo bhi tumhe patha hain Lekin phir bhi.

Shree: puraane baatein yaad karke,ab kya faida?

Sanvi: ha Yes I will always have the wrong discussions at wrong situations. Puraani adath (saying this she mocked herself and cleared her tears)

She slowly moved to the conference room and slowly took her seat after sometime Shree came back and took a seat beside Liza.

Afternoon:

As there was no case everyone sat down with their paper work. Chotu was watching some romantic movie in his Mobile. After some thinking Ayesha suddenly started...

Aisha: sach me, this bollywood has set fake standards yaar.

Liza: true yaar, forensic expert hun yeh ek ladka ko bola maine tinder pe toh usne kaha ...will see the body and say about his identity and all ( exhales while rolling her eyes)

Sakshi: par romantic film bhi toh acha hain. Hain na?

Shree : wo toh tum chod hi do (looking at sanvi) aur romanticism ke baare mein fake standards set kiya.. like ladka aur ladki kabhi friend's nahi hothi toh kabhi ladka ko friend zone karna...they Just contradict their own statements.

Sanvi: seriously guys are you still watching films? I stopped it long back.

Sakshi (with dreamy eyes): I will watch only romantic movies no masala no action.

Ayesha: but yaar kabhi kabhi lagta hain ki ETF hi best hain bollywood se kyu ki yaha hamari kaam aur efficiency ko praise milegi..

Sanvi: this is absolutely right. Pyaar karne ke liye hero's ko independent ladki chahiye aur shaadi ke liye ghar ki tulsi mamtha ki murat...

Sakshi: sanvi take a chill pill

Seeing everyone bursted out and started to laugh Arjun came inside and furiously hit the table with the paper weight to get the attention From everyone.

Arjun: agar aapka star dust discussions hogaya toh...(glancing everyone) time to work. there's a case.

Everyone went to the crime scene, Arjun was examining the body of a murdered man and a young girl. Sakshi gave him the briefing and then moved towards sanvi.

Sakshi: yeh Arjun na he has no EGO, I mean wo itna talented hain aur wo kabhi leader ke Post le liye pucha bhi nahi

Sanvi: intellegent ha wo toh hain, Arjun is very intellegent. Actually most intellegent among all.

Arjun who was moving back to the suv stood there and listened to them

Sanvi: leadership isn't about intellegece sakshi it's about compatability, yeh toh Arjun mein hain yah nahi mujhe abhi patha nahi hain (sakshi nods at her statment and gives her a meaningful glance) it's too early to judge

Arjun moved back to his suv. Sanvi and Sakshi followed him.

Sanvi: Arjun thank you for bringing me here but kal se I can't come. (Arjun looked at her through the mirror) khatam karne ke liye bahuth kuch kaam baaki hain.

Sakshi: (keeps an assuring hand on her shoulder) agar if you need anything... mujhse puchna I will be there, please don't hesitate. Ab toh we are friends.

Arjun: kaam (smirks) ab kya khatron ki Khiladi khelna hain tumhe..

Sakshi: Arjun seriously, it's her profession.. person ko nahi kam se kam profession ko respect dedo

Arjun ignores everything and focuses on driving. After a good half-an-hour drive they reached Sakshi's place. Then Arjun and sanvi started headed back to Arjun's place.

Arjun: Tum Aur Shree ..

Sanvi: ha yes we were in a relationship but

Arjun: wo I mean I'm not the one but he still loves you.

Sanvi: patha hain sir.

Arjun: toh phir.

Sanvi: we are efficient for love not relationship.

Arjun: lekin

Sanvi doesn't answer him, slowly Turns on the radio and drifts into sleep.

Arjun was standing in the corridor thinking about the case. Roshini came and sat with a coffee infront of him. He just stared her blankly.

Roshini: kya hua Arjun? All fine?

Arjun: my sister is getting divorced. Like they both loved eachother so much par phir bhi. She is saying they're out of love.

Roshni: toh isme itne sochne wali baath kya hain.

Arjun: tum samajhti kyu nahi roshini.

Roshini: Arjun jaise har plan paper pe ache hogi Lekin jab wo karna Hain toh problem's hogi, we can't blame the plan there...waise relationships bhi waisa hi hain so we can't blame love. Two people can Love each other and not be in a relationship... it's matter of compatability.

Arjun: Lekin

Roshni: Hey you hot-headed, dimaag thanda karo aur socho.. kabhi kabhi patni ka baath bhi suno...

Arjun: (grabbing her) agar nahin suna toh...

Roshni: toh you have to sleep on the couch Mr. Pathi parmeshwar.

Saying this she tickled him and ran away from his hold.

Sanvi: Arjun (shouting)

Arjun suddenly get's out of his thoughts and stops the car with a jerk.

Arjun: ab kya hua?

Sanvi: tum na itna kya sochte ho? Agar sochna bhi Hain toh socho Lekin ghar jane ke baad,

Arjun: ab Tum mujhe yeh lecture kyu de rahi ho..

Sanvi: kyu ki ham phir se ETF office agaya tumhara ghar nahi.

Arjun muttered a quick sorry and changed the way towards his home.
