Hello people here is the update of this story is here. Hope everyone is liking it, any problems regarding the flow, plot characters, I am always here. Feel free to question and hope you give ur feed backs too.

The big fat wedding

Arjun moves from that place recollecting what roshini was telling virat. He is just moving from there without any emotions. He was sitting on the bank of river; his parents were also visiting the temple there. arjun's mother noticed arjun looking lost and his mothers eyes were welled up with tears.

Arjun’s mom ( madhu): kya haal hogaya iski?

Suryakanth: hame kisi aur math blame karna kyu ki uski yeh .halathki wajah sirf arjun khud hi hai

His mother weeps from there and go

RIYA’S PLACE

Riya just came out from here room, it was a stressful day before less physically more emotionally. She slowly does to the dining table as she forgot to eat the before night. She slowly took her tea cup and zoomed out from that place. Riyas mother came back of her

Riya’s ma: beta

Riya: ha ma

Riya’s ma: ab kaise feel kar rahe ho? Kal meine dekha kaafi stressed ho

Riya: nahi ma it’s just a bit of headache. Infact yesterday meine bahuth(stopped ad fell into thinking)

Riya’s ma: riya mein soch rahi hun ki sab ke saath sam kebare mein discuss karna padegi. Aur yeh sab hone ke baad agar shaadi tay hogayi toh tumhare papa ko tum ek invitation bejho. Don’t force him , don’t be a bhoj over him. He has a family of his own now.

Riya just looked at her surprised; she was watching her mother like a zombie. Riya’s mother understood it and smiled.

Riya’s ma: kyu beta? I think it’s already late and I can’t get a boy like sam for you again.

Riya: ur wish ma

Riya went from there with more confusion. After sometime maid came with the news that everyone is waiting for her in the living area

Riya’s mama: beta you didn’t even said that to me

Riya smiled

Riya’s grandpa: agar yeh baat bataya toh it would be your 2nd anniversary

Riya (mutters): isliye nahi bataya meine

Riya’s place was lightened suddenly, and riya’s mama called all the staff and informed them, arjun,s father came a bit late and saw everyone eating sweets

Suryakanth: kya hua sir aaj subah subah yeh mithai?

Riya’s mama feeds him by his hands.

Riya’s mama: dekho suryakanth riya ki shaadi fix hogayi. Iss khushi mein, thu khao aur ek baar tere beta ko bulao na kuch kaam hogi na help karegi wo

Suryakanth: ji sir

He just moves away from the place, he then turns back and looks at riya who was smiling at her relatives. He just cleared his tears and took permission for an hour and went to arjun. After suryakanth goes home he directly moves to arjun’s room with a heavy heart. Arjun was getting ready after shower there.

Suryakanth sits on the bed and turns to arjun and signals him to sit there. Arjun obeys his father and sits there.

Suryakanth: dekho beta hamari life mein jab bhi dead end aaye toh ham dusra raastha nikalna hai, we cant stand like that,

Arjun: ha papa lekin ab aap yeh kyu bol rahe ho

Suryakanth: riya ki shaadi fix hogayi

Arjun: kis se? I thing sam se hogi

Suryakanth: (holding his tears back) kya tumhe patha? Meine socha ki agar tu ache se pad liye toh wo tujhe mana karne ke liye koi option nahi hogi uske liye, lekin unka choice mein tu nahi ho

Arjun (cries): kabhi nahi thi papa meine, kyu ki mujhe toh pyaar ka matlab hi nahi patha, tab meine riya ko bina kasur saza diya ab wo saza ulta mujh par hi ho raha hai

Suryakanth: beta (holding his chin) Sakshi se shaadi karlo,kal mein aur maa ne socha , wo tumhare har kadam mein tere saath degi . Ham tumhe force nahi kar raha hun but aise kitne din reh paugi

Arjun (thinks for a while): mere khushi toh uparwala ne chin liye mujhse. Aur mein kyu aapka khushi cheen lun . shaadi karunga par ek condition

Suryakanth (happily):bolo kya chahiye

Arjun: riya ke engagement ke din mere shaadi hona chahiye

Arjun gets up from that place determinedly and moves to Sakshi who is sitting in her balcony. Sakshi smiles seeing at him. He suddenly bends down on his knees and raises his hands and forward to him

Arjun: will you marry me?

Sakshi: joke acha hai …

Arjun: sach mein , I was chasing a fake shadow in the nameof love, tu hamesha mere saath thi aur mujhse sach mohabbat karli I didn’t see you but u never stopped caring me, aur I even thought of not asking but I couldn’t stop myself from this. Sakshi kya tum mujhse shaadi karogi? Mere kapde har din washing machine mein dalegi?

Sakshi with teary eyes and says yes. They hug each other;shree was also happy seeing this. By the time they separate arjun saw riya who was looking at him with shock. Arjun takes Sakshi near riya and keeps arm around sakshi’s shoulder.

Riya (continues fake smile): congratulations Sakshi.I am so happy for you

She hugs Sakshi and arjun formally. She turns to arjun was looking at her with accusing looks. He left the place tear eyed. Riya followed him, he was sitting in the corner of terrace and folded his both legs, He kept his head in between them and started to sob endlessly. Riya went near him and kept a hand on his shoulder. He immediately turned around and hugged her tight.He started sobbing even more. Riya was not prepared for such vulnerable side of arjun. She comforted him and hugged him back. After sometime they separate,arjun kept his head in her lap and riya though stunned but sat calmly there.

Riya: arjun tum why are you in a hurry, when you know you are not ready?

Arjun: tum mujhe updesh de rahe hai, lekina yaha tum hi the jo pehle shaadi karne ke baremein socha.

Riya: lekin arjun

Arjun: please ab mere liye jhut math bolo ki mujhe ab shaadi nahi karni and all, dard mera hai let me suffer.

Riya: arjun I am not going to say all these but,

Arjun: jis problem ko solution hi nahi hai. Why are you wasting time by discussing about it?

Arjun got up from her lap and sat beside her. He then held her hand and entwined their fingers. Both sat there one with blank face other one with blank mind. After sometime arjun wiped off his tears by removing his hand from her. As arjun removed his hand riya felt some void, she smiled at him as he was looking at her with a small curve on his lips. She now took the initiative and entwined his hands with her and both got up. Arjun hugged riya,and riya this time closed her eyes. After sometime they parted away and arjun held her by shoulders and then cupped her face;

Arjun: this was my dream since last eight years, but reality check yeh hai ki this is impossible. Lekin I have to thank you riya, kyu ki after saying about your love you didn’t leave me as others do, you were by myside then and now I have to thank you for this and riya I hope tum hamesha mere saath ho kisi bhi situation mein ladne ki taakath milegi. U will be there na

Riya: isme puchne wali baath kya hai arjun? Waise bhi insaan saath hone ke liye shaadi se better option hai. (after sometime) dosti karogi mujhse?

They smile at each other and move towards the stairs to get down but they find a tear eyed shree. Riya smiles at shree, and extends her hand for a hug and the trio hugs

Shree: I was always wrong about u. I don’t know what to say but riya I am so sorry.

Riya: kiske baare mein sorry

Arjun (comes in between): are yaar phir riya apni tap kholna hai kya

Riya hits arjun playfully and tickles him. Arjun runs back of her and lifts her in his arms and carry her down stairs. She gets down as she found a stunned Sakshi downwards. She immediately smiled awkwardly and went near Sakshi

Riya: waise Sakshi pehle list banado

Sakshi: kiske liye

Riya: shaadi tera hai, tujhe hi shopping karnahai;

Sakshi: ohh toh mein kal tak list ready karegi aur baad mein

Riya: yess shopping

Shree: papa ka pocket ko hole lagana. Waise riya kya ab tum free ho ,

Riya: ha bolo shree kuch kaam hai kya? Waise bhi na I will interrupt between works and help u kyu ki arjun mere liye kitne special khaas(after a pause) dosth hai na. it’s my responsibility.

Shree: lekin maine kulfi khaana ke liye puch raha hun

Sakshi(excited): party mere taraf se

Arjun and Sakshi smile looking at each other

Shree: lekin maine kulfi khaana ke liye puch raha hun

Sakshi(excited): party mere taraf se

Arjun and Sakshi smile looking at each other, they all moveto a kulfi shop; Sakshi picks up a kulfi and shree also takes one. Arjun and riya look each other

Sakshi: ajju abhi toh aadath dalo na kulfi khaana

Arjun: please don’t force me about this

Riya: arjun dekho waha dosa wala

Arjun: aap dono yaha kulfi khaao mein abhi aayi

Sakshi: kaha ? Tum kab se dosa khaana shuru kiya

Arjun and riya laugh at each other.

Riya: jabse ham dono Mumbai gaya than a tab se

Arjun grabs riya’s hand and moves to that stall, they have a good day

HERE AT RIYA’S HOUSE

Suryakanth is thinking about something deeply and was not giving any attention to the files, some colleague interrupted him and said him to do his work properly

He then took some files to riya’s mama. He gave them to sign and he looked at suryakanth questioningly

Suryakanth: anand ji ek request hai mere taraf se, ji sir mujhe kuch advance chahiye aur ji kuch chutti bhi

Anand: kyu sirya tabiyat toh thik hai na

Suryakanth (smiles): bilcul sir, arjun ka shaadi tay kiya hai sir meine, uska dosth Sakshi ke saath. Toh karche hogi na iske liye

Anand: ha accountant ko mein bolunga jaao.

EVENING

Riya and arjun returned to the place and arjun was waiting for his father, to pick him up. Riya went inside. Riya’s mama came to him andstood beside arjun

Arjun: hello anand ji

Anand: yeh kaise ho saktha arjun? Itna aasan hai kya yeh sab

Arjun: sir mujhe samaj nahi aaraha hai?

Anand : jis ladki se pyaar kiya na usko bhulke aage badana.( arjun sees him and anand keeps his hand on arjuns head) mujhe sab patha hai,ab nahi jis din riya ko bachaya na tab se, lekin mujhe I found a spark kind of thing. How can riya roam whole banaras without my notice. Riya ka life childhood mein kaafi disturbed hai arjun. Jab se tum mila na wo sab badal gaya mujhe laga ki tum badlega use lekin tum Pondicherry ko padai ke liye nikal gaya aur jab riya tumhare liye itne dukhi hui tab mujhe patha chala ki tum dono ka pyaar sacha pyaar hai and I thought of asking your hand after you return here. Lekin tables turned around. Lekin aaj bhi tum dono ke aakhon mein wahi chamak hai jab ek ke paas dusre ke naam liya toh.

Arjun: ham samaanaantar rekhaen the sar, ham ek saath saath hosakathe hain lekin kabhi ek nahi hoga sir.

Anand: anyways all the best arjun.

Arjun: thank you sir

Suryakanth comes back and sees arjun and anand and smiles at him and leaves place on arjun’s bike. Suryakanth keeps hand on arjun’s shoulder while arjun was driving.

Suryakanth: meine sab kuch suna

Arjun just smiles dryly. They both moved back to their home. Suryakanth informed that wedding is scheduled in next 15 daya. Arjun went tobed with heavy heart.

Arjun: kya mein hi sab kuch bigad diya? Sabko problem nahi tha ( this made him more guilty)

RIYA’S PLACE

Riya downstairs for dinner, as she entered down everyone were looking her with smile, suddenly a pair of arms lifted her and started to twirl her round.

Riya (astonished): SAM

Sam was standing with a wide smile
