THE MISUNDERSTANDINGS

Arjun saw sakshi's moody face and went near her and he held her hand and made her sit on a chair, he sat on the table infront of her. He held her chin and raised her face to meet his eyes. Her eyes were brimmed with tears. She closed her eyes to hide the pain. The tear drops flowed through the face arjun cleared them. He just hugged her silently patting on her back till she cried her heart out.

Arjun : mujhe aaj itna guilt horaha hai jaise mein kisi ko dhoka diya. Mein ek selfish insaan hun sakshi, kyu ki aaj bhi, abhi bhi mein kitna bhi try karu i am not even getting the thought of loving u. Bahuth bura insaan hu mein. Please don't feel sad. Tumhe kuch aur milega jo tumhe pari ki tarah treat karega aur mera tarah toh bilcul nahi.

Sakshi (while crying): kitna bolega tu?

Arjun : tu nahi sudaregi

Sakshi smiled and hugged him tight. He was patting on her head as he was sitting on the table. Aisha cough disturbed their hug. She then smiled at arjun with a naughty smile. Arjun just went away dragging sakshi with him. They talked for sometime and left to their respective places

Next morning

Roshini's place

Riya went to roshini's place next morning. By the time she went there roshini went out to meet her fiancee so she went her. She was roaming here and there she opened a cupboard which contained their childhood photos. She took the slam book album. And slowly started to turn pages giving look at the photos. She opened her page and saw a photo of arjun and riya in their school uniforms. Riya ruffling arjun's hair in it. And the quote also written by her at the bottom of the page.

" kuch bhi ho ya na ho, jo maine yaha likha hai, lekin agar arjun mere saath hai toh bas uske saath rehna aur aakhon mein dekhna hi kaafi hai"

Seeing that tears brimmed in her eyes. She kept that book back in her shelf. She sat there on the bed and just looked out through the window view towards the city. She once roamed there. She once loved to just be in that place, which now she is feeling uncomfortable. She used to enjoy the life and she used to find happiness in every thing she does. But now a days its been difficult for her to just behave normal. She soon started losing her individuality, not because of other people just because of her unstable mental condition. She found her head spinning and after many efforts she caught hold of a bottle and slowly drank some water. She is feeling dizzy so she closed her eyes and relaxed herself for some time. Soon by the time she became normal, roshini returned.

Roshini : i am sorry... Wo virat bahuth late kiya.

Riya : hmm

Roshini (not satisfied, but chose to leave) : nastha kiya

Riya : hmm

Roshini observed riya was thinking and stressing herself so much. So she left with an excuse and brought them some tea and closed that room doors

Roshini : riya (shouts) chai peo

Riya : ha thank you

Roshini : kya hua?

Riya : kuch nahi i came to meet you

Roshini : itne din baad

Riya : mein medical camp pe gaya tha

Roshini : aur problem medical camp se start hua

Riya : problem nahi roshini irritation hai wo

Roshini : kya hai wo irritation?

Riya : arjun

Just the floor underneath her was sweeped away. She again thought of arjun. As she doesn't want to see in him in a vulnerable state. She slowly thought of something shaking her head while riya was blabbering without paying heed actually. Suddenly a thought flashed in her mind and she smiled at herself.

Roshini : are toh tum bol rahe ho ki arjun tera peecha pada.

Riya : ha isliye mein soch raha hun ki mein usko sam ke baare mein bata dun?

Roshini : nahi... (riya sees her weirdly) i mean tum usko batane ki zaroorath nahi ki

Riya : kyu?

Roshni : kyu ki..... Kyu ki usko already patha tha uske baare mein..wo kya hai na... Wo wo meine hi bola use ki tum aage bad chuki ho aur wo ek do din sad feel kiya phir.. Phir...

Riya : ha phir....

Roshini : ah phir phir.... He started dating... (m.v: kuch ladko ka naam yaad nahi aaraha hai.. Bhagwan....) sakshi

Riya : sakshi?

Roshni : sakshi anand, arjun ki saheli tha na wo. ( ha usko bhi arjun ke liye feelings hai aur arjun ke baare mein possessive bhi... Koi nahi maan jayegi yeh)

Riya : ha roshini mujhe chalna hai

Roshini : ha ok

Roshini (m.v): dekho yeh kyu upset hogaya... And god i am such a worst liar.. Ab kya hoga bhagwan aap hi toh dekhna padega.. Aur in dono ko alvida na hona hai..

Saying this she sat on her couch. She was determined strongly and called her fiancee for a meet. She invited him to a cafe near her house. She also called Riya and arjun separately for this meet. She was at cafeteria first next she ordered a double strong coffee. She sat with the coffee cup and virat entered there

Virat : hello..

Roshini was lost in her own world. She didn't even notice about him. She was in her own world suddenly virat took a look at her and pinched her. She suddenly winced out in pain and started to scold him. He smiled at her and asked what's the matter

Roshini : acha hua aap aagaya. Dekhiye virat wo gadhe wedding planner ne hamari shaadi ko cancel kiya

Virat : what?

Roshni : i mean that wedding planner ne hamara deal cancel kiya.

Virat : kaise ab. Did u inform ur father?

Roshni : no nahi... Please uske paas math boliye

Virat : toh hame kya karna hai?

Roshni : ham mere doston ke madad lenge

Virat : then call them

Roshini : meine call kiya. They are on the way.

Suddenly riya came, roshini rushed towards her and held her hands and rushed towards the table. Riya was astonished by this. Virat got up from his place and forwarded his hand.

Roshini : dekho virat yeh riya meri best friend. Aur riya yeh virat

Riya : hello jiju

Virat : nice to meet you

Riya : ha jiju. How are you?

Virat : mein super tensed aur kaafi tired hun

Riya : kyo?

Virat : roshini tum hi batao

Riya : kyun tum dono luka chuppi khel rahe ho

Roshini : please suno, hamara shaadi ka wedding planner ne hamari plan cancel kar di aur ab mujhe nahi patha ki kya karana hai?

Riya : kya bakwass hai? Kya horaha hai?

Roshni : please tumhe hi kuch karna hoga. (after sometime) dekho tumhe mumbai jaana hai, vahan sab kuch arrange karna hai and tum hi mere final hope hai. Bcz tumhe patha hai shaadi ke baare mein sab kuch pakka hona hai.. So please

Riya : mein Mumbai kaise

Virat : i will arrange tickets

Riya : aur mama ko kya batau

Roshini : bas ek din, please convince him anyway. Lekin tum jaanthe ho na ab yeh kisi ko patha chala toh sab ko lagta hai ki its something like bad luck and all please

Riya : mein mom se pooch kar kahunga

Roshini : ha please

Riya left from there in a hurry. And after sometime arjun came there. Roshini informed about that wedding planner, informed him about riya and also requested him to accompany riya to mumbai.

Arjun : ok mujhe kuch problem nahi hai.. Lekin Mumbai kyu we can get everything here in lucknow right

Virat : ha lekin my friend is an event manager there(after a pause) u are MR. ARJUN right

Arjun : ha mein aapko kahi dekha

Virat : are bhai u saved me that day right from that car

Virat and Arjun become close and explain roshini how they both met before. Arjun leaves from that place with happiness. He went back to home and start packing his luggage.

Back at roshini's place

Virat : yeh sab tum kyu kar rahe ho

Roshini : kya

Virat : ab use Mumbai kyu bejh rahe ho.. We can get everything here itself. Y are u sending them there

Roshini : dekhiye ab mein kuch bolne ki situation mein nahi hun but virat i promise i will say everything once it's done

THAT EVENING

Riya, Roshini, virat and arjun's batch, aisha gets assembled at the temple there. Arjun went and stood beside riya. She stepped aside and he also moved with her.

Roshini smiled sadly at this

Roshini : (p. O. V) yeh arjun bhi na... Usne riya par bahuth hopes rakha hai, lekin ek baar wo sach jan ne ke baad iska dil toot jaega. Mujhe patha hai ki mein use rokh nahi saktha lekin agar yeh dono friendzone mein jaathe hai toh dard kam ho saktha hai.

Sakshi disturbed her thoughts.

Sakshi : mein aur shree yaha ki sab kaam like food catering etc sambhalungi aur ha arjun (smiles weirdly) tum riya ke saath jao

Riya : no i can manage

Roshini : agar tumhe kuch hua toh teri mama mujhe manage karunga pucca. Rii tum suno please mere liye

Virat : tere jiju ka pehli wish.. Won't u fulfil it? Bas Mumbai jao ek do din saatg rehne mein kya farak padta hai yaar.. Aur dono ka books bhi alag hi book karunga mein.

Riya was convinced someway but she is not sure about travelling with arjun. Ayesha interrupts

Aisha : agar tumhe problem nahi hai toh mein shree ko help karungi

Shree : are aap bhi na iske liye permission maang rahe ho.. Comeon yeh banaras yeh dosth mera dil sab tumhari hai

Aisha hits shree playfully. Everyone dispersed to their respective places. But Riya was still messy about her thoughts. She don't know how to convince her mother. She then called aisha near her to give any idea

Riya : kuch bolo yaar..

Ayesha : mujhe kya patha? Tum toh college ki topper hai. U have to know Riya socho

Riya : mujhe kya patha i am tensed

Aisha left from there. And even Riya was clueless about that and she don't know about the excuse. Suddenly she remembered something.

Riya went to her mother's room. Her mother was sleeping. She knocked the door to wake her up.

Mother : kya hua beta?

Riya : mom i am going to mumbai tomorrow.

Mother : are you mad? Mumbai kyu?

Riya : ek college ko apply kiya na meine Mumbai mein uska call letter aaya tha aaj kal mein jaake joining report use submit karke aaungi.

Mother : lekin tum akeli

Riya : kuch nahi hoga.. Meine tickets bhi book kiya aur ha mein ek do din mein return hojaungi.

Mother : u never listen to me

Riya : please ma.... Understand me

Somehow she was convinced about this. Riya went to her room and packed her things. Early in the morning she woke up and tiptoed leaving a note to her mama and mother bcz if everyone wakes up then this thing turns into a issue. She slowly moved out of the house only to see arjun waiting for her.

Riya (whispering) : tum yaha kyu

Arjun (whispering back) : tumhe pickup karne ke liye

Riya (whispers) : huhh ok chalo.

They both move to the lucknow airport and they ahead to their plane. Riya and arjun enter the plane. Riya was irritated as arjun was beside her. But she somehow controlled it. She even noticed that their seats were adjacent. She suddenly had an idea

Riya : can i change my seat?

Airhostess: sure mam

She exchanges her seat with arjun.. She just changes her seat. Arjun was controlling his laugh. Riya was irritated. Soon the plane started. Arjun started to shiver. Riya held his hand and he snuggled into her. She had goosebumps all over but she didn't say anything. Soon everything was normal and Arjun withdrawn his hands. And riya soon slept on arjun's shoulder. Arjun was really like on cloud 9. He thanked god and he also dozed of.
