Chapter 28:Arjun allowed the cold water to flow through his body. Though it was the month of December and the water was icy cold it didn't bother him. He just wanted to get rid of her marks and her feels from his body. He was drenched, his clothes were soaked in water, the tears which was resticted to come till now found a way out and they also kept on flowing.
He felt disgusted with himself, he harshly rubbed his lips to remove her presence from it but all went in vain. He tried the same with other parts of his body but the result was just the same. Not able to restrain himself anymore he bent down on his knees, then cuddled up in a ball and burrying his face kept on wailing. The sound of water carefully subsided his sobs and nothing could be heard outside.
In the living room, after a long chase finally Arman, Sameer and Sakshi sat down to catch their breaths but the smile never left their faces.
Sakshi: please, I'm requesting you don't say such things in front of him. I don't know how he'll take it and what he'll feel. I just don't want to make things more difficult for him. Yesterday only every thing got sorted...
Ayesha: and yesterday only you got the promotion from that room to his room. So you know first night together, that's why we were asking.
All smiled hearing this but Sakshi clarified her doubts.
Sakshi: Ayesha he was not even in the room, I guess he was in the garden or the study. But I feel something is wrong with him, the way he behaved now...
Sam: then how did his lips got injured if you didn't do it?
Arman: and why did you blush then?
Sakshi: uh! Sameer you saw him in the morning right? Were his lips bleeding then, no. Then what is the requirement of asking such questions, as you know after morning I was with you the whole time. And bhaiya it's not blushing it's embarrassment, I was not at all prepared for such questions, that too in front of him.
Arnav: poor observation skills. Pull up your socks officers. He didn't even planned to join the force but still his skills are far better than yours.
Arman and Sameer frowned at the statement whereas the girls burst out laughing. They didn't like that comment but before they could overcome this Sakshi Threw another bomb.
Sakshi: by the way, why are you both so worried about my husband's lips. I'm warning you stay away from him, your behaviour doesn't seem nice to me. He's completely a gentleman and loyal to his wife and you both also are commited and his brother in relation. Got it.
Sameer and Arman couldn't understand what just happened, but when they heard others laughs they understood, but soon they also joined them.
After sometime, Sakshi who was now worried about Arjun. He didn't seem well when he returned and now he's taking so long. She got up to check if he needed something.
Sam: where are you going?
Sakshi: to check on Arjun, he didn't seem okay when he went. And now he's taking so much time. I'm a bit worried for him.
Ridhi: you go and check.
Sakshi went to his room and knocked it but since she didn't get any answer after the 4th knock, she directly went inside. There she found him sleeping peacefully. His hair was dischevelled, his lips were parted, but what bothered her was the contstant tears that kept on flowing.
He was covered with the blanket. She saw his bruised lips once, it was the only visible injury, others were covered by his clothes so they didn't know about it. She kneeled in front of him caressed his hair and lightly pecked his injured lips. Then putting the comforter properly on him, left the room.
Seeing her alone, others enquired about Arjun.
Arnav: what happened? Where is he?
Sakshi: he's in his room, sleeping.
Arnav: it's good that he's not here, I don't want him in all these anymore. Already he has been through a lot. It's better if we handle the situation this time and let him have his much deserved rest.
Ridhi: what are you saying?
Arnav: yesterday Singhanias were taken under custody but the trials are still not over and they are not given their punishments till now. And I got a call from the jail informing, that Ragini fled from the jail but an anonymous call informed the police about her location. A desolate place outside the city. But the main problem is Sakshi, your kidnappers said that they were working for Ragini. So you know she was behind all these.
Arman: that's okay, but one thing that I was thinking was were did Advay go? He told Sameer and Ayesha to rescue Sakshi, whereas he himself went somewhere else.
Ridhi: may be he went to complete his baba's work. You know his death was quite sudden. And we all know that for him Surya uncle is before anything else.
Ayesha: okay. Then could they find out about the caller or what was Ragini doing there.
Arnav: while searching the room, they found a video camera, but somehow it fell down and the video portion was not available, only the audio part was there. They'll give me the camera after their work is over.
Few hours later Arjun was up but still his head felt heavy, he wore his glasses to avoid any questions. He came down and found no one was around, relieved he went to the kitchen to drink water.
Sakshi was searching something in the upper rack of the kitchen. As Arjun entered, she saw him and in order to ask about his well being she turned carelessly and lost her balance and fell from the stool.
Arjun was quick enough to catch her before she could collide with the ground. When she looked at him, still in his arms, she couldn't help but feel more attracted to him. He looked so hot in the full sleeves t-shirt and those glasses. But there momentary eyelock soon broke by the coughs of two men.
Sam: we are going you both can continue.
Arman: yeah yeah.
They both have a teasing smile and Sakshi was again embarrassed to face such situations in front of Arjun. But Arjun was still pondering over what happened, so he left the kitchen without uttering a single word. This confused them and angered Sakshi now no one could now save the two men from her wrath.
She took out two big knives and pointed them on his neck and threatened them.
Sakshi: I told you both not to make situations difficult for him. But you won't listen.
THEY Gulped DoWn Tensed To See Lady Arjun In Action And Instantly Agreed To Follow Her Commands.
Till now Arjun's different behaviour was noticed by all. They tried to find out but couldn't. Sameer and Arman also didn't tease him anymore as they too saw that Arjun was not responding to their talks.
At night Arjun was sitting by the window side and a lone tear trickled down his face. He didn't rub it but he felt and soft hand rubbing it, then he felt her giving him a light kiss on his cheeks.
He closed his eyes. He loved her, though he didn't confess till now, and he wanted to share such intimate relation with her only her. He had always loved one girl and that was his Tani. He had never even looked at any other girl. But the peaceful moment didn't last for long as Sakshi asked him about his problems and he was reminded of that incident again. At first he hesitated in saying her, he thought she'd leave him and he didn't want that to happen. But then he felt by not telling, he'd be cheating on her so he told her.
Arjun: Sakshi today...
Sakshi was too numb after hearing what he said. She couldn't believe that Ragini tortured Arjun. She didn't even realize when her feet carried her to her room. She was actually very disgusted with that girl. She was thinking.
Sakshi: ' how dare she threaten my Arjun? And she actually tortured himTishats why his lips were bleeding and I don't even know how he tolerated so much. But Arjun had to go through all these because of me. I'm at fault. I need to apologise to him. And that girl will suffer for giving pain to him.'
She turned around to face Arjun, it was then she realised that she left his room. She regretted being so lost. She knew Arjun would interpret it differently. He'd think that she is also blaming him, just as Ragini said.
She quickly ran to his room, but there was another shock waiting for her. Arjun handed her divorce papers which already had his signature.
