Chapter 13~ A Heart's Desire :

Hey guys I am back with another chapter. I know its too late but I was very busy in my exams guys!! I hope you all will like this chapter. Will wait for your feedback. Enjoy!!

Finally we all are ready to move to Devgarh for Uday and Manyata's marriage. I hugged Mom and Dad and came towards the SUV only to see Abhi looking at me suspiciously. Now what happened to this idiot?? Why the hell is he looking at me like this??

Abhilash: What happened to you??

He asked looking at me raising his eyebrows. What is he up to??

Arjun: Nothing. Why??

I asked narrowing my eyes at him. I am sure he is going to say something weird. After all he is a weirdo.

Abhilash: Something is different. Your eyes are shining. Why??

He asked with a curious expression on his face. Suddenly I remembered what happened in the morning. I know there is attraction between both of us, but I know Riya is somewhat hesitating. I know over the time I have accepted our relationship, but Riya still thinks that I am not over Rosh. May be that's why she is somewhat apprehensive?? I came out from my thoughts when someone tapped on my shoulder. I looked at the person only to see Abhi looking at me frowning.

Arjun: Cause I am going to my friend's wedding??

I said to him or rather asked him remembering his question. He looked at me for sometime as if he is trying to solve a mystery. Ugh!! This man becomes very irritating sometimes.

Abhilash: No Arjun. Something happened. Tell me what??

He asked looking at me excited. I rolled my eyes at his expressions. He is looking at me like an excited child who is getting his favorite candy.

Arjun: Shut up Abhi!!

I snapped at him and looked towards SUV only to see Riya standing there with Sakshi and Ayesha. She is looking beautiful as always but there is something else in her eyes which I didn't see from a long time, her eyes are shining. I can clearly see the life back in her eyes and that's the best thing that can ever happen.

Sakshi said something to Riya and she looked down blushing.

God!! She takes my breath away sometimes. I felt as if I can keep looking at her for ever. Suddenly my thoughts broke by an idiot's voice.

Abhilash: Stop gazing at her. She is my sister.

I looked beside me only to see Abhi glaring at me. What the hell!! I can look at her as much as I want. She is my legally wedded wife. I have all the rights. He can't stop me even if he is her brother.

Arjun: She is my wife. I can stare at her as much as I want my idiot brother in law.

I looked at him smirking knowing fully well that he will be irritated by the idiot tag.

Abhilash: Hey!! I am CBI's chief. Okay??

He said glaring at me. Oh yes how can I forget?? He is The CBI Cheif.

Arjun: So what?? You are still an idiot!!

I said shrugging moving towards where the girls are standing. God knows what they talk about all the time??

I heard Abhi's voice and a wicked thought came in my mind. My dear brother in law, you are a gone case now.

Arjun: I am going to Riya. You are calling her hell??

I looked at him acting stunned and he looked at me as if he is horrified.

Abhilash: No!! What the!!

He shouted looking at me gobsmacked. I laughed looking at him and he huffed glaring at me. He gets riled up so easily. Suddenly I heard Riya's voice.

Riya: Arjun?? Let's go!! What are you doing here??

I turned around only to see her in front of me. I sighed and looked at everyone who is ready to move in.

Arjun: Who is coming with us??

I looked at Riya confused, as all the team members are standing beside my SUV.

Riya: Sakshi, Lisa and Ayesha.

She said shrugging and I looked at her stunned. Ayesha is coming with us with Lisa?? Who the hell decided that?? I am sure Sam doesn't know about it.

Arjun: And whose idea was that??

I asked her looking at her suspiciously. She smirked looking at me.

Riya: Mine. How's it??

She asked waggling her eyebrows. Wow!! First she became matchmaker for these idiots, and now she will be the main villain in their love stories?? I shook my head at her amused.

Arjun: Awesome. Let's go.

I said to her dragging her towards our SUV. Abhi came to the SUV with us.

Riya: Bye Abhi!!

Riya said to Abhi grinning and he nodded smiling.

Abhilash: Bye baby.

He said to Riya winking. What the hell!! I agree she is his sister, but can't he behave himself?? I glared at him. How dare he behave like this with my wife??

Abhilash: I said to Ashu.

He said smiling nervously. What the!! He is saying to Ayesha?? Then we all heard the booming voice of our chief AKA Sameer Rathore.

Sameer: What??

I looked towards Sam only to see him standing in typical ETF chief pose. Though he is wearing glares but anyone can clearly see he is angry on Abhi.

Abhilash: I...I was just saying bye to her.

Abhi said smiling at Sam awkwardly. Talk about being idiot and my brother in law will be on first position. Who calls a girl "baby" that too when his boyfriend is Mr. Sameer Damsingh Rathore.

Sameer: Lets go Ayesha.

Sam said removing his glares and glaring at Abhi. Suddenly I remembered that Ayesha is coming with us. I looked down trying to stop my smile. I am sure someone is going to die today.

Ayesha: I am going with Rii. Bye.

Ayesha said smiling and waving at Sam and then linked her hand with Riya.

Sameer: What the!!

Sam looked at Ayesha stunned. I looked towards the team only to see Sakshi looking at Sam smirking.

Sakshi: Bye Abhi!!

She waved at Abhi and he nodded at her smiling. Sakshi sat in the SUV but Sam is still glaring at Ayesha.

Sameer: Ayesha you are not going with Arjun and Riya. You are coming with me.

Sam said glaring at Ayesha. She looked at Sam as if she doesn't believe that he is using his ETF chief's tone on her. Well even I am surprised. He doesn't even use this tone on her in office.

Ayesha: Are you even serious?? I am going with Riya. Bye.

Ayesha said and sat on the back seat beside Sakshi and Lisa. Sam glared at me and I raised my hands in surrender. Dude I am not going to take the blame about it. I didn't do anything. I looked at Riya only to see her looking at Sam with a triumphant face.

I swear this girl will make Sam kill us one day. I shook my head looking at her expressions.

Arjun: Oye!! Let's go!! Otherwise Rathore will make us mashed potato here by just glaring at us.

I dragged her towards our SUV. And we all left for Devgarh.

Sakshi: Finally!! We are here.

Sakshi shouted as soon as I stopped the SUV in front of Devgarh palace. We all came out from the SUVs and looked ahead only to see Princess Manyata waiting for our welcome. Well she is looking radiant. Marriage glow I guess.

Arjun: Wow!! She is really beautiful.

I said looking at Riya smirking. She stopped suddenly then looked at me raising her eyebrows.

Riya: Want to marry again??

She asked narrowing her eyes. Oh god!! She is looking furious. As if I will even think about marrying Manyata. Veer will kill me mercilessly and I am already married and I must say my wife is not any less than this princess.

Arjun: I think I will pass the opportunity, otherwise what will happen to you and Veer??

I said to Riya with a sad face and she looked at me stunned.

Riya: Don't worry he is not bad himself. I am sure we both will manage with each other. Right Uday??

She asked smirking and I looked at her confused. Where is Veer?? I didn't see him. But then I heard his voice.

Udayveer: Right Baby..

I looked behind only to see Veer looking at both of us grinning.

What the hell!! He called Riya "baby"?? I am sure he wants me to kill him.

Arjun: Its not baby Veer. Its Bhabhi.

I said to Veer glaring at him and he looked at me startled.

Udayveer: Spoilsport.

He said rolling his eyes and I shook my head at him. We all came inside only to see everyone from the royal family waiting for us. They all came towards us and we started greeting them.

Finally after almost 1 hour we are free. I came to my room directly. I know Shree, Lisa and Chotu are somewhere in the palace doing god knows what and Sameer is with Arjun and Uday. I just sat on the bed to take a deep breath when suddenly my mobile started ringing.

Oh god!! Can't I take a deep breath peacefully?? I picked the phone only to see Abhi's name in the caller ID. Looks like he is getting bored already. I shook my head and picked up the call.

Sakshi: Hello??

I said in an amused tone.

Abhilash: Are you alone??

He asked in a hushed voice. What the!! What happened to him??

Sakshi: What??

I asked in a confused tone. Why do I have to be alone for him to talk to me?? He is confusing!!

Abhilash: I have to talk about something. Are you alone??

He asked still in a hushed tone but I can tell that he is irritated. But why??

Sakshi: Hmm. What happened??

I asked curiously. Something is going on in his mind I am sure.

Abhilash: What can we do about Arjun and Riya??

He asked finally in a normal voice. And what about Arjun and Riya?? What do we have to do about it?? And why?? I am totally confused.

Sakshi: What about them??

I asked him baffled.

Abhilash: Can't you feel that they need cupids in their lives??

He asked in an exasperated tone. Hold on!! He is not saying me to play cupid right??

Sakshi: And you want me to do that??

I asked him incredulously. Cupid?? And that too for Arjun and Riya?? The two most stubborn people in the world.

Abhilash: Hmm. Take help from the whole team. They never spend time alone. This marriage is the best opportunity.

He said sounding somewhat excited. Okay, he is not wrong. This marriage is the perfect opportunity for them to come close.

Sakshi: Right. I will talk to everyone.

I said to him smiling slightly.

Abhilash: All the best.

He said excitedly and cut the call. I shook my head grinning. So I am on a new mission even when I am off duty. Interesting!! I just laid down on the bed when the door of my room opened. I groaned irritated. No one leave me alone. I just want to rest for some time.

Ayesha: Hey Sakshi!!

I looked towards the door only to see Ayesha. What is she doing here??

Sakshi: Ayesha?? You here??

I asked looking at her confused. She is looking somewhat upset. What happened to her?? I got up and went towards her.

Ayesha: Hmm. Sameer is talking with Arjun Sir and Uday.

She said looking at me sadly. Freak!! Her romeo is with someone else that's why she is sad. And I thought that something bad had happened. I shook my head at her. Wait!! Where has Riya gone to??

Sakshi: Where is Riya then??

I asked her curiously. She sighed sadly.

Ayesha: With Manyata and Jainandini.

She said shrugging. Abhi was right. Arjun and Riya don't even try to spend time with each other.

Sakshi: Oh god!! They are really mad.

I said frustrated about their behavior. It looks as if they don't even care about their relation.

Ayesha: Who are you talking about??

Ayesha asked looking at me confused. Its better to tell everything to her right now. Then she can tell Sameer about it.

Sakshi: Arjun and Riya. Who else??

I said looking at her irritated. She looked at me confused.

Ayesha: What happened to them??

Ayesha asked looking at me bewildered. I rolled my eyes at her.

Sakshi: They both are newly married. Do I need to tell you anymore??

I said raising my eyebrows at her. For sometime she looked confused but then her eyes widened. She looked at me sighing deeply.

Ayesha: You are right. But what can we do??

She asked looking at me tensed. Well its the time to lock both of them together.

Sakshi: We can!!

I winked at her and she looked at me baffled.

Ayesha: What??

Ayesha asked looking at me bewildered.

Sakshi: Let's go!!

I dragged her and we both went to Manyata's room where Riya and Jai are with Manyata. I opened the door of Manyata's room and peeped inside. They all are sitting in the bed and Manyata was blushing while Riya and Jai are laughing like mad. Now what are they all doing??

Sakshi: Hey guys!!

I shouted and they all looked towards me. I just hope I didn't disturb them.

Right now I am sitting with Manyata and Jai, talking about Uday. Jai is telling me about some incidents when both Manyata and Uday fought like mad and it was too hilarious. Also Manyata is making us count how good her Uday is. But Suddenly I heard Sakshi's voice and looked towards the door only to see Sakshi and Ayesha standing there.

Riya: Sakshi?? Ayesha?? Come inside!!

I said to them waving my hand. They both came inside and sat beside Jai on the bed.

Manyata: Hey guys!! How are you??

Manyata asked looking at Sakshi curiously. I have already told them about Sakshi and Ayesha. I don't want Manyata and Jai to say something that will hurt Sakshi and Ayesha.

Sakshi: We are good. So?? What are you all talking about??

Sakshi asked looking at all of us curiously.

Jainandini: Nothing. We are just listening the audio version of a book.

Jai said looking at Manyata teasingly. Manyata looked at Jai confused. But I know what Jai is going to say. I grinned looking at Jai.

Manyata: What?? Which book Jay??

Manyata asked looking at Jai baffled.

Jainandini: Manyata's hero Yuvraj Udayveer Singh.

Jai said winking at Manyata and we all burst into laughter. Oh god!! This Jai is too much sometimes. What's the need to embarrass Manyata??

Manyata: JAY!!

Manyata shouted throwing a pillow at Jai. Suddenly Sakshi asked something which totally confused me.

Sakshi: And what about Your Hero??

She asked looking at me curiously. Okay!! Who is she talking about??

Riya: My hero??

I asked her confused and she rolled her eyes at me. I looked at Jai only to see her looking at me curiously. Now what??

Jainandini: Oh yes!! Your Mr. Arrogant. What's his name?? Yes!! Arjun Suryakant Rawte. Right??

Jai asked looking at me teasingly. Oh god!! They are talking about Arjun?? Now what to say?? This Jai is too much.

Riya: Shut up Jai!!

I snapped at her and she sat on the bed with a sullen face. I sighed shaking my head at her amused. She is behaving like a child who didn't get her candy.

Manyata: She is right. You didn't tell anything about Arjun.

I looked at Manyata hearing her voice. Her face is full of curiosity. In fact everyone is looking at me curiously. Okay, no one from here know anything about me and Arjun, but do they really have to know?? And if Manyata want a love story then she will be disappointed.

Riya: Manyata, my relationship with Arjun is very different. Don't compare it with yours and Uday.

I said to her smiling slightly.

Manyata: I know. You both didn't fought with each other like cats and dogs.

She said rolling her eyes. Hold on!! What does she means??

Riya: Means??

I asked looking at her interested about the topic of her and Uday's fights.

Jainandini: You should have seen Jiji and Uday's fights. Our house was a warzone for almost one year. And then Uday and Jiji were inseparable. Best of friends.

Jai said looking at Manyata exasperated. Oh god!! I really missed an awesome love story. But that doesn't mean that I didn't fought with Arjun. In fact the first thing we did when we met was fighting with each other.

Riya: Okay. I do fought with Arjun. In fact I actually shown some of my fighting skills to him. We both literally fought when we first met.

I told them smirking and they all looked at me stunned. I know why. No one even tries to fight with Arjun. At least not in their right mind.

I grinned looking at her and they all looked gobsmacked.

I said shrugging. It doesn't matter now.

Sakshi: Oh freak!! I really missed the starting of an awesome story.

Sakshi said with a sad face. I rolled my eyes at her. Which story?? There is no story between me and Arjun. He still loves Roshni. Suddenly we heard Chotu's voice.

Chotu: But I was there with Rathore sir.

We all looked towards the door only to see Chotu, Shree and Liza coming inside the room.

Sakshi: Chotu!!

Sakshi looked at Chotu baffled. I know now they all will tell everyone whatever had happened in the ETF between me and Arjun.

Shree: If I remember correctly she fought with Arjun sir in the first case so much that I thought she will be severely scolded, but Arjun sir was always partial to her.

Shree said shaking her head exasperatedly. Hold on!! What does he mean by partial to me?? He always scolds me. And that he still do.

Riya: Excuse me??

I looked at him narrowing my eyes. What the hell is he playing at??

Chotu: Yes. He never scolded you that much.

I asked looking at Shree and Chotu raising my eyebrows.

Shree: That was because you printed his information instead of someone else.

Shree said pointing my mistake. Of course I did that but that was by mistake. I said sorry to him so many times but it was of no use. He behaved as if I was the one who killed his Rosh.

Riya: That was by mistake.

I said to him gritting my teeth.

Chotu: But he was angry.

Chotu said trying to defend Arjun. I know he was angry but he had no right to talk to me like that. I don't even know why I was so scared of him at that time. Suddenly we all heard the voice of the person we all were talking about. Mr. Arjun Suryakant Rawte.

Arjun: What's going on here??

Arjun asked coming inside the room with Sam and Uday.

Sakshi: Nothing. We are just hearing about your and Riya's unique love story.

Sakshi said looking at Arjun teasingly and he stiffened.

Arjun: What did you tell them??

He asked looking at me confused. What can I tell them?? There is nothing to tell.

Udayveer: Hey!! I want to know that too. How did you both met??

Uday asked sitting beside Manyata on the bed. I looked towards Arjun only to see Sam standing beside Arjun and he was laughing like mad. What the hell!!

Ayesha: Why are you laughing Sameer??

Ayesha asked looking at Sam curiously. I am sure he will say something that I am not going to like.

Sameer: At their first meet Riya thought Arjun was trying to remove evidence so she fought with him, showing her martial arts, but our Arjun is best.

Sam said winking at Arjun and Arjun rolled his eyes looking at Sam bored. Oh god!! They all won't let me forget the day. And Arjun was my senior, he had to be more smart than me.

I said to them smirking and Sam huffed irritated. What?? I said the truth.

Sameer: If not for me, Arjun would have hurt you.

I said rolling my eyes at him. Then we all heard Chotu's voice.

Arjun said looking or I could say glaring at Chotu. I remember now, that was the first case of Arjun with ETF. Chotu lost his all color hearing Arjun's statement. I tried to hide my smile looking at Chotu's face.

Chotu: But you all should have seen their banter there.

Chotu said looking towards Sam. What the!! He was calling that fight a banter?? He is mad.

Riya: That was not a banter.

I narrowed my eyes at Chotu and he grinned looking at me.

Arjun: Of course. That was a full fledged word war.

Arjun said rolling his eyes. Of course that was!! I was never insulted by anyone so much. No one talked to me ever with such a rude tone.

Chotu: Sir told Riya to wear a short dress, and then she came there wearing the dress. She was looking fab. And then Arjun sir said her to climb on the wall. You all should have seen Riya's face at that time.

Chotu started telling them what had happened. I remembered the day clearly. I didn't know at that time that I couldn't climb the wall. I thought he will tell me to demonstrate Kanika's death.

Sameer: Then what happened??

Sam asked looking at both Arjun and Me curiously. As if I am going to tell him.

Chotu: Riya then asked sir that does she have to jump from the wall too, just like Kanika.

Chotu said and everyone started laughing. I looked at Arjun only to see him smirking at me. God!! This is so embarrassing.

Sakshi: What?? Seriously??

Sakshi asked looking at Chotu trying to control her laugh.

Chotu: Hmm. I was trying not to laugh.

Chotu said nodding his head. Those days were something else. It felt as if we are talking about some other life.

Shree: And then after some cases, we can't even say a bad thing about Arjun sir in front of Riya. She gets so angry if we say something rude about sir.

Shree said looking at me exasperated. I know what had changed. I had started respecting the person who helped me always. Even if he scolded me, he did that to teach me what is right and what is wrong. My thought process broke when I heard Arjun's angry voice.

Arjun: You say rude things about me??

Arjun asked glaring at Shree and Chotu. Shit!! They both have to mention this in front of Arjun??

Shree: No...No Sir!! Not like that!!

Shree said gulping nervously. I shook my head at him exasperated.

Arjun: Then like what??

Arjun shouted and everyone flinched at his tone. I took a deep breath. I know Shree and Chotu shouldn't have said anything about Arjun, but he is not their senior here, he can't scold them.

Riya: Arjun!! Stop scaring them. You are not their senior here. We are not on duty.

I snapped at Arjun and he narrowed his eyes at me. Hah!! As if I will get scared from him anymore. I glared at him back and he huffed after sometime.

Arjun: Whatever!!

He rolled his eyes and sat besides Sam in the couch. I just hope they all drop the topic here, I really don't want to talk about whatever happened in the past.

We all are sitting in Manyata's room talking about me and Riya. I don't really like old days when I always scolded Riya for no reason. At that time too she affected me like no one ever had. I was angry at that time, but not on her. I was angry on myself. I shook my head trying not to think about the past. I looked at Uday who is looking at Manyata lovingly. Okay!! When I first met Uday he was single and looked very much like a playboy. I never thought he will ever settle down. So how come he started loving someone so much??

Arjun: Uday?? How did you met Manyata?? As much as I know you were a playboy.

I asked looking at Uday curiously. Uday looked at Manyata with a smirk on his face and she looked down smiling slightly. Interesting!!

Udayveer: I met her in a bar in my hotel.

He said and I looked at him stunned. Bar?? And Manyata?? What the!!

Arjun: No shit sherlock. Manyata and Bar??

I asked him stunned and both Uday and Jai started laughing.

Udayveer: Yes. She was there with Akash. I recognised her as Manyata and then brought her here.

Uday said shrugging as if its not a big deal. But the expressions on Jai's face say something else.

Jainandini: Yes and that too screaming and kicking.

Jai said grinning at both Manyata and Uday. Interesting!!

Riya: Literally??

Riya asked looking at Jai curiously.

Jainandini: Yes. They both fought like cat and dog. You should have seen their fights. It looked like our palace is a war zone.

Jai said laughing madly. Great!! What a story.

Manyata: I became Manyata from Moniya just because of Uday.

Manyata said looking at Uday with so much emotions in her eyes that we all became silent. I can clearly see the emotions in her eyes, pain, guilt, love, hurt ever single emotion is present in her eyes.

Udayveer: Princess??

Uday called Manyata soflty. I smiled looking at both of them. Their love is too transparent. Anyone can see what they both feel for each other.

Manyata: Hmm??

Manyata looked at Uday curiously.

Udayveer: What are you thinking??

He asked and Manyata looked down smiling sadly.

Manyata: Just our fights. How much I had hurt you and still you forgave me as if its no big deal.

Manyata said with tears in her eyes. I can see she still feels guilty about hurting Uday.

Udayveer: Hey, it was not your fault. You were trapped by some people.

Uday said frowning at Jai. Looks like Jai had something to do with this.

Jainandini: Sorry!!

Jainandini looked down sadly. I am glad that everything is settled between them before Uday and Manyata's marriage. Suddenly I heard Riya's voice.

Riya: Manyata!! When did you know that you loved Uday??

Riya asked looking at Manyata curiously. I looked at Riya frowning. She is looking somewhat disturbed. What happened to her??

Manyata: That's the problem.

Manyata said looking at Riya smiling. We all looked at her confused. What does she want to say??

Manyata: I didn't know till I am in the middle of it. I know that I loved him when I started seeing the difference between the love of Uday and Akash. Whenever I talked about Akash in front of Uday, he always hurt Akash, he never hurt me physically. But once during my mehendi ceremony Akash was forcing me to come with him and when I refused he tried to manhandle me. How can anyone force the person whom they love??

Manyata asked looking at Uday with tears in her eyes. She is right. No one can inflict pain on someone whom they love like mad.

Jainandini: Akash never loved you enough Jiji.

Jai said hugging Manyata sideways. I sighed feeling really confused about Riya's question. Why does she want to know about when Manyata know that she loved Uday??

Manyata: I know Jay!! I am lucky that I saw his real face before anything bad happened.

Manyata said hugging Uday tightly. I am really happy for both of them. They deserve happiness. Suddenly we heard Rajmata's voice.

Rajmata: What are you all doing here??

We all looked towards the door only to see Rajmata standing there with a stern face.

Manyata: DadiSahab!!

Manyata got up from her seat and we all get up too.

Rajmata: You all forgot!! Today is Tikka ceremony of Uday. You all go and get rest, then the boys have to get ready.

She said looking pointedly at Uday and he looked at Rajmata baffled. I grinned looking at Uday's expressions. Looks like he forgot about his marriage functions himself. I came to the room with Riya and stood beside the window of our room here.

Its strange how life is changing so fast. If 2 years ago, someone had said to me that Rosh will only be a memory to me, then I would have killed that person. But now its the reality of my life. I don't know when I accepted that Riya is my wife. She affects me much more than Rosh has ever affected me. My thoughts broke by Riya's voice.

Riya: What are you thinking??

I looked at her only to see her looking at me curiously. I smirked thinking about what I am going to say to her. I know she will be mad at me. But honestly speaking I love to tease her.

Arjun: Nothing. Just good old days. How peaceful my life was when you were not there. And now it has become a chaos once again.

I said sighing tiredly. I looked at her from the corner of my eyes only to see her looking at me wide eyed.

I laughed looking at her shocked face. Oh god!! She is looking so funny.

Riya: What the!!

I heard Riya swear and suddenly a vase came flying towards me. I ducked in time only to have the vase broken into pieces by shattering against the wall. Man!! She has gone berserk.

Arjun: Woah!! Riya!! Have you lost your mind??

I looked at her stunned. She smiled way too sweetly.

Her smile is clearly fake and I am sure I am going to be dead today.

Riya: Oh really!! And what about the way you are behaving??

She asked sweetly with her eyebrows raised. Okay!! I should take some precautions here. I moved towards the other side of the bed and she narrowed her eyes at me.

Arjun: I am behaving perfectly decent.

I said to her smiling and her eyes became even more dangerous. She is furious. Shit!! I am a gone case now.

Riya: Of course you are!! Idiot!!

She shouted and thrown a pillow towards me. I catched the pillow and threw it back. I am not going to tolerate domestic violence here. I am ACP Arjun Rawte. I saw Riya running towards me and I ran away from her. Thank god the room is big enough to run.

Arjun: Riya!! Stop yaar!!

She continues throwing pillows at me. God!! Where did she find so much pillows?? I am running but suddenly I heard Riya's cry. I turned around only to see Riya coming towards me with full force.

What the!! We both fell on bed with me on top of her. I took a deep breath trying to came out from the impact. I opened my eyes only to see Riya with her eyes closed. She is clutching my shirt tightly. I don't know what happened but I felt as if something changed. Suddenly Riya opened her eyes and I felt as if I can drown in her eyes.

Riya: Arjun!!

She whispered my name softly and I smiled seeing her getting equally affected by me. I know she is scared, even I am scared of all the feelings she evoke in me, but I am helpless here. I tucked her hair behind her ear and went even more close to her. She sucked in a breath and looked at me wide eyed. I placed my lips on her ear and her hold on my shirt tightened.

Arjun: Riya!!

I whispered her name with my lips touching her ears and she took deep breaths. I know she is too beautiful, and I am getting affected by her physically. But its good to know that its not one sided.

Riya: Hmm.

She hummed moving her one hand towards my neck and then in my hairs. I closed my eyes feeling her soft touch.

Arjun: You are beautiful.

I said to her smiling and I felt her hold on my hairs tighten. Suddenly she stiffened. I know what is she thinking. She is having second thoughts about me, I know about that.

Riya: What if...

She started saying but I stopped her by putting my finger on her lips. I don't want any doubt in her mind.

Arjun: No!! We will go only ahead from here. No turning back. I promise.

I said to her kissing her neck softly and I heard her take a deep breath and she hugged me tightly. I hugged her back smiling. I am really lucky to have her in my life.

I know that Arjun can never forget Rosh but its difficult to control what I feel towards him. I know I am getting too attached to him, but I am not the only one. I can feel Arjun's care and his attraction. I know he wanted to be my husband in every sense. But I just hope he doesn't regret it. I will never be able to handle it. I heard the door opening and we both jumped apart from each other.

Udayveer: Arjun!! Oh shit!! Sorry guys!!

I got up from the bed and looked at Uday who had turned his back towards us with his hand on his eyes. I looked at him amused.

Arjun: Stop overreacting Veer. You can turn around.

Arjun said in an amused tone.

Udayveer: Are you sure??

Uday asked without turning back. God!! He doesn't have to behave this idiotic.

Arjun: Veer!!

Arjun shouted Uday's name exasperated. Uday sighed and turned back towards us with an accusatory look in his eyes. Now what??

Udayveer: Guys!! You should have closed the door.

He said looking at both of us pointedly. I shook my head at him clearly knowing that he is saying this by experience. Looks like people disturb him too much here.

Arjun: And you know that because??

Arjun asked raising his eyebrows at Uday and Uday looked at Arjun baffled.

Udayveer: Jun!! You are mean.

Uday looked at Arjun with a hurt look but Arjun just rolled his eyes. Hmm. Looks like Uday is acting.

Arjun: Drama King. What happened??

Arjun asked looking at Uday curiously.

Udayveer: Its good that you didn't get ready for the function. I came here to give you your outfit.

Uday said forwarding a sherwani towards Arjun.

Arjun: My outfit??

Arjun looked at the sherwani confused. Even I am confused, why did he bring outfit for Arjun??

Udayveer: Yes guys. You all will be wearing what we decide.

Uday said winking at all of us. Oh!! So our outfits are already decided. That's good!! We don't have to decide anything now.

Arjun: Okay.

Arjun shrugged and nodded at Uday.

Udayveer: Now get ready and come to my house fast. I am going to get ready too.

Uday said and went out from the room closing the door behind him. I shook my head at him.

Arjun: I will change in washroom.

Arjun said and went to the washroom. I sighed and sat on the bed. I don't know what's going to happen in our life but I just know one thing, I can't just move ahead with Arjun without any guarantee. Cause if Arjun hurt me, I will never remain alive, that much he affects me.

I heard washroom's door open and I turned around only to have my breath knocked out.God!! How can someone look so good. He is wearing a black and white jodhpuri.

I know he is looking too good but I can't praise him. I know he will take this praise to his head.

Riya: Not bad ACP Rawte.

I said to him smirking and he looked at me raising his eyebrows.

Arjun: I always look good.

He said combing his hairs. As if I will let him have the last word ever.

Riya: I was talking about the outfit Arjun.

I said to him innocently and he looked at me stunned.

Arjun: What the!!

He looked at me baffled but I just turned and left the room. I laughed remembering the expressions on Arjun's face. Now I know why he always try to irritate me. I was going towards the living room but suddenly I saw Shree coming out from his room in a blue and red sherwani. Nice outfit and it suits Shree really well.

Shree: How is it??

He asked looking at me curiously. Well he is looking really good.

Riya: Nice!!

I smiled looking at him and he frowned suddenly. Now what happened to him??

Shree: Outfit or me??

He asked looking at me confused. I grinned hearing his question.

Riya: Both Mr. Sen.

I winked at him and we both laughed at each other. But then Shree stopped suddenly and looked at something behind me with shock. I turned around only to see Arjun coming towards us frowning.

Shree: Wow!! Arjun sir you are looking fab.

Shree said looking at Arjun perplexed. I shook my head looking at Shree's expressions.

Arjun: Really?? I thought only the dress is looking good.

Arjun said looking at me smirking. What the hell!!

Riya: Whatever.

I rolled my eyes at him. What does he thinks of himself?? Mad man!!

I heard Rathore Sir's voice and I turned towards the voice only to look at the man in front of me in disbelief. He is looking every inch like a prince he is, in maroon and black sherwani. Wow!!

Arjun: Finally came in your original dressup, Your Highness!!

Arjun sir said looking at Rathore Sir teasingly but Rathore Sir glared at Arjun Sir.

Sameer: Shut up Arjun.

He snapped at Arjun sir but Arjun sir just winked at him. Suddenly we all heard Chotu's voice.

Chotu: When are we leaving??

I turned towards the voice only to see him coming in a purple and white kurta pajama. He is looking dashing too.

We all were standing in the living room when we heard Maharaj Brijraj's voice.

Maharaj : Thank god you all are ready. I thought we will be late for the ceremony.

We all turned to look at him. He is dressed every bit as a King he is.

He came towards us smiling but then started looking everywhere frowning. What happened to him??

Maharaj Brijraj: But wait!! Where the hell is Vijay??

He asked looking at all of us tensed. Oh yes Vijay is very important here after all he is the one who has to do this ritual. Finally we all heard the voice of the person we were waiting for.

Vijayendra: I am here Uncle Brij.

We all looked towards the stairs only to see Vijay coming down from the stairs with a sword. Freak!! What is the sword for??

I must say he is looking good but I am still confused about the sword.

Chotu: Woah!! Are you going to kill someone or what??

Chotu asked looking at the sword baffled.

Vijayendra: What??

Vijay looked at all of us as if we have lost our mind. Looks like there is something we don't know.

Sameer: Actually we are gonna gift that sword to Udayveer. Right??

Rathore sir asked looking at Vijay smirking and he nodded at Rathore sir. Oh so they are gonna gift this sword to Uday. But why?? I looked at Vijay confused.

Vijayendra: Absolutely. Along with some gifts we are gonna give him this sword. Which means from now onwards our family title is given to him and now he will have to handle the most prized possession of Devgarh family. Our Crown Princess, Manyata.

He said looking at all of us excited. I shook my head exasperated. Of course they will have different traditions than us. They are Rajwadas after all.

Maharaj Brijraj: Let's go now.

Maharaj said to all of us and we all left for Jaigarh Palace.

Finally after almost half an hour we all have reached Jaigarh Fort and I must say it is magnificent.

We all came inside the fort only to see people standing there waiting to welcome us. We are with Manyata's male relatives and the most special men of Devgarh estate. Everyone is very happy with this marriage and I am sure we are gonna enjoy this wedding too.

Finally we reached at the place where the actual ceremony will take place. It is decorated with a canopy and a king seat for the groom. Everything is looking beautiful.

Chotu: Wow!! what a decoration!!

I said to Shree looking at all the decorations around us.

Shree: Hmm. Its beautiful.

He said shooting every nook and corner of the palace. Once a cameraman always a cameraman. I shook my head looking at Shree. He keeps on shooting each and every thing. Suddenly we all heard Uday's father's voice.

Maharaj Giriraj: Khamma Ghani!!

I looked ahead to see him standing in front of us with joined hands and a 1000 watt smile on his face. And why not?? His dream is coming true. The Kings of both the estates wanted their children to marry each other, and now it is happening.

Maharaj Brijraj: Ghani Khamma Giriraj.

Manyata's father joined his hands too and then hugged Uday's father.

Maharaj Giriraj: Come inside!! We all were waiting for you.

We all went ahead towards the canopy only to see Uday already sitting there. He stood up and then came towards all of us smiling. I must say he is looking every bit a prince in his royal blue and white royal sherwani.

Udayveer: Khamma Ghani Uncle Brij!!

Uday touched the feet of Manyat's dad and then grinned at all of us. Anyone can see the happiness in his eyes. Talking about happiness, Arjun sir is looking really uninterested. What happened to him??

Maharaj Brijraj: Ghani Khamma Kunwar Sa!!

Manyata's dad hugged Udayveer.

Maharaj Giriraj: Let's start the ceremony.

Uday's dad indicated Uday to sit in the king sized chair. Finally the ceremony is going to start and then we can have our food. Thank god!!

Maharaj Brijraj: Sure. Vijay?? Come and do the Tilak of Yuvraj Udayveer.

Manyata's father indicated Vijay to start the ceremony. At first Vijay did the Tilak of Uday and then gifted the sword to him. Then he started giving Uday several gifts and every male member of Manyata's family started giving Uday various gifts. The ceremony is going without any disturbance, suddenly a thought occured in my mind. Rathore sir is a prince too. That means he will get married like this too?? I looked beside me only to see Rathore sir standing with a thoughtful look on his face. Shree is standing on Rathore sir's other side with a camera in his hands.

Chotu: Sir?? You will get married like this too??

I asked looking at Rathore sir curiously. Rathore sir came out of his thoughts and looked at me annoyed.

Sameer: Shut up Chotu!!

He snapped at me and went to stand beside Arjun sir who was already sulking in a corner. What's wrong with both of them?? And I just asked a simple question from Rathore sir. Its not as if I asked any Class A information.

Chotu: What did I do??

I looked at Shree frowning. I am totally confused about Rathore sir's behavior. And he doesn't even talk about his family. Is he not in contact with his family??

Shree: Leave him yaar. Let's record this, we will show everything to the girls.

Shree said looking at the ceremony excited. He is right. I don't actually have to take stress right now. May be I am over thinking??

Chotu: Right!!

I shrugged and we started enjoying the ceremony looking at all the gifts and then they started serving starters and my day is already made. Every food is delicious here. I am just in love with this.

I parked the car and was just going inside the palace when I saw Riya walking in the garden. What is she doing in the garden and that too at this time?? What happened to her now?? I walked towards the place she is standing.

Arjun: Riya?? What are you doing here??

I asked looking at her tensed. She stopped and turned towards me. Her eyes clearly shows her confused state of mind. I have to clear everything to her.

Riya: Nothing. Just taking a walk.

She said shrugging slightly. I sighed taking a deep breath.

Arjun: At this time??

I asked her raising my eyebrows. For a minute she looked at me baffled but then she composed herself. I know what's troubling her but she can directly ask me. What's the need to stress herself??

Riya: Leave all this. Tell me how was the ceremony.

She asked completely changing the subject. Fine if that is what she wants, then that is what she gets. Then I remember what Veer told me today. He was really disappointed that I attended the ceremony from Manyata's side. Reason?? He said that I am his friend and I should attend all the functions from his side. So I agree to shift to Jaigarh palace. And its better if Riya know this now.

Arjun: It was great. But we all have to shift to Jaigarh palace tomorrow.

I told her smiling and she looked at me confused.

Riya: Why??

She asked bewildered. I know she became a good friend of Manyata. But we came here on Uday's invite.

Arjun: Riya!! We are attending the wedding from Uday's side.

I told her smiling and she looked at me stunned as if she just remembered who sent us the actual invite.

Riya: Oh right!!

She shrugged sheepishly and I shook my head at her. She is too innocent sometimes. Uday had already told me to shift early tomorrow as there is another important ceremony tomorrow. And that is ganpati sthapna.

Arjun: And yes tomorrow is the ganpati sthapna in both the palaces.

I told her and she looked at me confused. Now what happened to her??

Riya: Where will we attend??

She asked tensed. This is not even a question. The ritual in both the places will be at different times.

Arjun: Both.

I shrugged and she looked at me grinning.

Riya: Really??

She asked excited. This is how I want to see her always. Happy and smiling.

Arjun: Hmm.

I nodded at her. She sighed relaxing and the started walking again but I can see she is thinking something. I shook my head but suddenly my eyes caught the stone in front of her. Shit!! She is not even looking at it.

Suddenly she tripped on it and I ran towards her.

I shouted her name and grabbed her by her waist, stopping her from falling. She looked at me scared and grabbed my shirt tightly.

Arjun: You okay??

I asked her softly and she nodded in yes. I make her stand again and she hugged me tightly. I took a deep breath trying to control my heart. Thank god!! I reached to her on time. I closed my eyes kissing her hairs softly. I hugged her more tightly trying to reassure myself that she is alright. Suddenly we both heard Jai's voice.

Jainandini: I must say you both are exceeding the limits set by Uday and Jiji.

We broke off our hug and looked at Jai only to see her looking at both of us teasingly. Great!! They all make such a simple situation as something else by their idiotic thinking.

Riya: Jai?? What are you doing here??

Riya asked looking at Jai seriously. But Jai still looked in the playful mood. Her eyes are still shining with mischief.

Jainandini: Disturbed your romance??

Jai asked looking at both of us wiggling her eyebrows. I looked at Riya only to see her looking at Jai weirdly. I just hope Riya is alright. She is looking really distraught.

Riya: Shut up J!!

Riya rolled her eyes at Jai.

Jainandini: Okay!! No need to snap at me. You should have put a tag of 'do not disturb' in the garden.

Jai said looking at us irritated. I shook my head and sat on the bench in the garden. I don't actually want to listen to Jai's blabbering.

Riya glared at Jai and Jai raised both her hands in surrender.

Jainandini: Okay fine!! I am getting bored. Jiji is talking to Uday, and Vijay Bhai is talking to Unnati.

Jai said whining. Ok looks like the princess is missing her always missing boyfriend.

She said with a sad look and sat down on the grass in the garden beside my bench. Riya also sat beside her.

She asked Jai softly. Jai looked at Riya with a sad face.

Jainandini: I can't believe Jiji will leave us all.

Jai said sighing sadly. Right!! Manyata will leave Devgarh palace because she will be the Queen of Jaigarh. But I know Uday is best for Manyata. They all don't have to take tension about her.

Arjun: Relax!! She will be happy with Uday.

I said to Jai smiling but Jai just huffed irritated. What the hell!!

Jainandini: Happy?? She is just waiting for the day she will leave her home to be with Uday, her prince charming.

Jai said rolling her eyes and we all laughed at her statement. She is right. Manyata and Uday both are waiting eagerly to be with each other. Suddenly Jai stopped and looked at both of us curiously. Don't tell me now she wants to know about our marriage.

Jainandini: Riya??

She looked at Riya smiling softly. We both looked at Jai confused. I have a strong feeling she is going to ask about our marriage.

Jainandini: How did you both got married??

Jai asked looking at Riya curiously and Riya stiffened hearing her question.

Riya: Nothing special. Just a simple marriage. First in court and then in temple.

Riya just shrugged nonchalantly but I can clearly see the disappointment in her eyes. Jai looked at me frowning.

Jainandini: Hey!! That's not fair Arjun. She deserves something special.

She said looking at me disapprovingly. As if I don't know about it. But both of us were not in the right frame of mind that day. I remembered the day we married. The day Riya Mukherjee became Mrs. Riya Arjun Rawte for the whole world. But the truth is, that day we both accepted each other as friends. Neither one of us was ready for the relation and responsibilities that came with marriage.

Arjun: I know and agree too. But we both were not in our right frame of mind.

I said to her smiling sadly. I looked at Riya only to see her looking down sadly.

Jainandini: Why?? What happened??

Jai asked looking at both of us softly. I looked at Riya and she shook her head negatively. I know she doesn't want to tell about our marriage to anyone. I took a deep breath and nodded at Riya.

Riya asked in an animated way and finally Jai started grinning like a cheshire cat. I am sure something is off here. Why the hell is she grinning so creepily??

Jainandini: He is a cry baby when it comes to Jiji.

She said with an amused expression as if she is remembering such an incident. Uday?? And cry baby?? That's really interesting. I looked him tensed, but I never thought that he can cry and that too in front of everyone. But I guess that's what love is.

Riya: Really??

Riya asked looking at Jai baffled.

Jainandini: Absolutely. You know I have never seen Uday crying so much as much he cried when Jiji loved Akash. And I know Uday since childhood.

Jai said with an incredulous expression on her face. I know Jai can clearly understand Uday cause she loves someone too.

Arjun: That's the power of love Madam. It can make you vulnerable at the same time it can make you strong.

I said smirking at her and she grinned nodding her head in yes.

Jainandini: That's true.

She said excitedly. I hope she can get the person in her life whom she loves so much. I don't want anyone to lose their love but you cannot get everything you want. I came out of my thoughts hearing Sakshi's voice.

Sakshi: Guys!! What are you all doing here??

Sakshi looked at all of us bewildered. Anyone will think us strange as both Riya and Jai are sitting on the grass beside my bench. Who would think that a princess will behave like this.

Riya: Just talking.

Riya shrugged getting up and Jai got up with her too. Sakshi looked at me and Riya with a disapproving look. Now what's up with her?? Why is she giving such looks to us??

Sakshi: Jai!! Come with me?? I have to ask you something.

Sakshi said looking at jai with a pleading face. I am sure she is upto something. What's wrong with her??

Jainandini: Sure.

Jai shrugged confused and then both Jai and Sakshi went inside leaving Riya alone with me. Riya looked towards the front door frowning and then shrugged with a confused expressions on her face. I shook my head amused at the girls and started walking but after sometime I felt Riya beside me. We both continued to walk in the garden without saying anything. Its too peaceful here and I don't want to disturb this peace.

I am going berserk looking at the person infront of me. Mr. Damsingh Rathore. He is a mad person altogether. I was busy in finding about this case since morning and now when I came here in his hotel room with all the details he is saying a different story altogether.

I asked him frowning. I don't understand this man at all. First he insist that this case be solved as soon as possible and now he is saying that there is no case at all. What type of nonsense is this?? Mr. Rathore sighed tiredly and sat on the couch.

Damsingh: I am really sorry but I thought that ETF will handle this case. But that idiot Coelho handled this case to CBI.

I smirked at him and he looked at me horrified. I put on my glares and came out without even looking back at him. What the hell does he thinks of himself?? I agree he is the King of Jaipur but I am not ACP Abhilash Mukherjee just for show. I know how to give back to people.

And now its time for his son to pay back. Bloody idiot!! That Sameer Rathore. I called him and finally he picked up after 2 rings.

Sameer: Hello??

He said in a bored voice. I felt my anger rising. How can he behave so casually??

Abhilash: You bloody idiot!! You knew right??

I shouted at the phone but all I heard is nothing. Then after sometime I heard him laughing. God!! This bas***d. I will make sure he stays away from Ayesha from now on. I will be the third wheel in his story and he will regret this day for his whole life.

Sameer: Of course I know. Baba Sa can handle such petty problems very well. He doesn't need any special force to do it.

He said with a casual tone. Oh yes!! I will see how much casual he will be when I interrupt him and Ayesha always. And the most important problem. Now that I am free, what will I do here??

Sameer: Then come to Jaigarh tomorrow. We are shifting there as we all are attending the marriage from Uday's side.

He said as if its the most logical solution. On a second note that's the best thing he ever adviced. After all I can keep eye on Arjun and Riya too.

Abhilash: That's much better. See you tomorrow.

I said finally relaxed that something good is going to happen after such a shitty day.

Sameer: Yep!! Bye!!

He cut the call and I drove towards our house. Its better if I start packing right away.

Finally I am back in my room after talking to Jai about our costumes. They all have already decided what we all wear in all the functions. That's really nice of them. My phone started ringing suddenly. I looked at the caller ID only to see Abhi's call.

Sakshi: Hey!! Wassup??

I picked up the call and greeted him.

Abhilash: Getting bored. What else??

He said sighing sadly. Wait!! Why is he getting bored?? He has a case to solve right?? Don't tell me he already did that.

Sakshi: Case solved?? That fast??

I asked him confused and he took a deep breath as if he is trying to control himself. Something is definitely wrong.

Abhilash: There was no case.

He said in an annoyed tone. What the!! What is he saying?? There was no case?? How is it possible??

Sakshi: Means??

I asked him totally confused.

Abhilash: Means Sam's dad just made the case so that he can meet his son, as he thought that the case will be given to ETF. But Coelho sir assigned the case to CBI because of Rajmata Mrinalini Devi.

He said huffing angrily. Oh shit!! This Sam is so devilish. Now what will Abhi do there alone?? Can't he tell all this to Abhi before??

Sakshi: Oh god Abhi!! You are stuck.

I said to him worried about him. I know he is still not mentally that fit to stay alone without even thinking about last 2 days. I just hope he will be alright.

Abhilash: No not actually. I am coming to Jaigarh palace tomorrow.

He said sighing as if relaxed. Oh okay!! Wait!! He is coming to Jaigarh??

Sakshi: Hey that's great!!

I said to him excited. Now I don't have to do everything for Arjun and Riya alone.

Abhilash: Yep. Now I can keep eyes on my sister and brother in law. They both are idiots.

He said in an exasperated tone. He is right. They should spend sometime with each other but they both are busy talking to everyone else in this house.

Sakshi: You are right. We have to do something.

I said to him biting my nails nervously.

Abhilash: Okay then. Bye.

He said in a soft tone. I know he is feeling alone, but he has to adjust, at least for today.

Sakshi: Good night Abhi!!

I said to him smiling softly.

Abhilash: Night!!

He whispered and cut the call. I just hope nothing will go wrong from now onwards. Its difficult to live this life among so much celebrations when your heart is feeling the pain of loosing someone who was dear to you. I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes trying to sleep.

I came to change my clothes after coming back from our walk. I know Arjun is thinking about something. But what?? Its difficult to believe that he wants to accept this relationship with me, but what if he suddenly decides that I am not worth it. What will happen to me then?? Cause I know if I will enter in this relationship, then my heart will be whole but Arjun loves someone else. How can he be truly honest with me when he loves someone else??

I came out from the washroom only to see Arjun sitting on the bed thinking something. What's going on in his mind??

Riya: Arjun?? You are still awake??

I asked looking at him confused. He looked at me as if he is determined. But for what??

Arjun: Hmm. I don't feel like sleeping right now.

He shrugged as if its no big deal, but his eyes are telling some different story. He is nervous and tensed too.

Riya: Why?? What happened??

I frowned looking at him. He got up from the bed and came towards me. I felt my heart beats increasing, but I don't want this right now. He took both of my hands in his and looked at me with a strange determined expression in his eyes.

Arjun: I want to talk about something to you.

He said seriously and I took a deep breath. I just hope its not something bad. I don't think I can pretend to be happy in this marriage.

Riya: Sure. Go ahead.

I said smiling somewhat. He took a deep breath as if to gain courage. What's wrong with him?? He dragged me by my hand towards bed but I stopped suddenly. What does he want??

Riya: Arjun??

I looked at him baffled but he blinked his eyes reassuringly. I trust him completely but still I am somewhat apprehensive.

Arjun: Come!!

He said making me sit on the bed with my back resting on the pillow and sat beside me on the bed. He grabbed both of my hands in his and looked at me as if I am the most important person in his life. But how is it possible??

Arjun: I want something from you and I want you to promise Riya that you will listen to me before reaching to any conclusion.

He said with the most sincere expressions on his face. How can I deny him??

Riya: Okay. I promise to listen to you.

I said to him nodding my head. Even if it would kill me, I will listen to him.

Arjun: Riya I want our relationship to be real. I know you feel it too. I never thought that I can feel something for anyone else, but I guess I was wrong.

He said smiling softly and I felt my breath hitch. No!! How can it be true??

Riya: Arjun!!

I looked at him tensed and he put his finger on my lips to stop me for saying anything, but I felt as if I got a shock. I gulped feeling his touch on my lips. He is affecting me too much. This is not right. He came close to me but I felt as if I am trapped here by an unknown force. I can't even move at bit.

Arjun: I know you are not unaware of it. You know you feel something too. But I know you are stopping yourself. I can feel your reluctance. I want you to give one chance to our relationship. Can you do that??

He asked with a soft tone. Now I know what's the force that's keeping me here. Its his eyes, his voice and his expressions that are keeping me hypnotized here. I know he is sincere, but its not easy for me to give everything to him when I know that I will never get the whole of him.

Riya: Its not easy Arjun. Are you sure you want that?? Can you forget Roshni?? Can you really move on with someone else other than Roshni??

I asked him the question that's eating me from inside. Until I get the answer of this question, I can never move ahead. Arjun looked at me for sometime then smiled softly. What's going on in his mind?? But what he said next, stunned me completely.

Arjun: I am already too far away from her Riya. She was right. She was never meant to be mine and I was never hers. Riya, I always tried to hide things from her, things that can upset her, cause I knew that she is too soft and she only sees good in each and every situation. But I can tell you anything, without thinking about if you will be hurt or not, cause I know you can handle everything. I will always remember Rosh, she was my first love, my first wife. The moments I spent with her were beautiful but that was what she is, my past. She will never come in my present or my future. I don't even know when was the last time I remembered her.

He said in a soft voice and kept his forehead against mine. I felt my heartbeats increasing again. I don't know what will happen but I am scared about the feelings he invokes in me.

Riya: I don't know Arjun. I am scared.

I said to him softly and he kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes feeling his lips against my skin. I know he affects me too much.

Arjun: Trust me Rii.

He said softly. Suddenly I remembered what Manyata said about love. That she didn't even know when she realised that she loves Uday. She had said that before she even realised she was already halfway in love with him. I know I can trust Arjun, I can trust that he will never break my heart, but can he give his 100% to this relationship. Can he trust me completely??

Riya: I do. But can you trust me with your heart??

I asked him the question that's revolving in my head. I heard him take a deep breath as if he is finally relaxed.

Arjun: I will. If you trust me with yours. I promise.

He said looking in my eyes softly. I looked in his eyes only to see hope there. Hope for a better future, hope for life, hope for love. That's all I wanted from him. I know I can trust him with my heart. I hugged him and we both fell on the bed with me on top of him.

Suddenly I felt as if the whole meaning of my life is changing here. I can see the fire in his eyes and I know my heart felt the same. Suddenly he flipped both of us and he is in top of me. I felt like my heart will come out from my body. Suddenly I felt hot and the AC here is of no use. I gripped Arjun's shirt tightly and closed my eyes when I felt his hands on my waist. Suddenly he pulled me towards him by my waist and I opened my eyes only to see him too close to me. He kissed my eyes one by one and my hold on his shirt tighten even more. I felt my breathing getting labored. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes surrendering completely when I felt his breath near my lips.

Suddenly the moment broke when we heard someone shouting Arjun's name.

Sameer: ARJUN!!

I heard Sam's voice and the door knocking voice. God!! Can't he come after some time??

Arjun: God!! This idiot!!

Arjun kissed my forehead apologetically and got up annoyed. I grinned looking at his annoyed face. I never thought that my life can change so much in just some days. When my family died, I thought everything is over, but now it feels as if life is just starting here in this moment.

I opened the door frustrated beyond belief. No one can leave us alone just for some time. Everyone keeps on coming at the wrong time.

Arjun: What happened?? Who died??

I asked him annoyed. Suddenly I heard Riya laughing. Great!! Now she is enjoying my frustration.

Sameer: Riya?? Why are you laughing?? And what happened to you Jun?? Why are you glaring at me??

Sam looked at both of us confused. I sighed shaking my head exasperated.

Arjun: What do you want?? And that too at this hour??

I asked him irritated.

Sameer: I want to tell you both that Abhi will join all of us in Jaigarh.

He said smirking and I looked at him baffled. Abhi is coming?? But what about the case??

Arjun: Wait!! What happened to the case??

I asked him confused. He looked at me smirking as if I am missing some hint. But what??

Sameer: Jun!! You really think Baba Sa will need any help in such petty matters??

He asked raising his eyebrows amused. Oh suit!! I totally forgot who his dad is. His dad doesn't need anyone to protect him.

Arjun: Freak!! That means it was just a hoax case??

I asked him stunned. Then why the hell did he presented this hoax case??

Sameer: Exactly. He just wanted to meet me.

Sam said grinning. Oh!! Ego problem here too??

Riya: Wait!! Why will he make a case to meet you??

Riya asked coming towards both of us confused.

Sameer: Cause he is Maharaj Damsingh Rathore. He won't meet some police officers personally without any reason.

Sam said shaking his head amused. God!! This is too much.

Arjun: Oh god!! Your Dad is too much.

I said rolling my eyes amused.

Riya: Did Abhi met your dad??

Riya asked looking at Sam tensed.

Sameer: Hmm. And he was so irritated when he called me. I am sure he said something to Baba Sa.

Sam said smiling and I laughed looking at him. I can not even think how had Abhi felt when he got to know about this hoax case.

Arjun: I know that too. Though he behaves like he takes things lightly but he is not like that. He takes things very seriously especially if its related to cases.

I told them what I genuinely felt about Abhi.

Sameer: Hmm.

Sam nodded sighing tiredly.

Riya: Okay that's enough praise of Abhi now you go and sleep otherwise you will have dark circles under your eyes.

Riya said to Sam smirking. I tried to control my laughter looking at Sam's expression.

Sameer: What the!!

Sam looked at Riya baffled.

Arjun: She is right Sam. Dark circles don't suit you.

I said to him trying to act concerned. He huffed and moved ahead to go. We both laughed looking at his expressions.

Sameer: Guys!! Don't forget to latch your door.

Suddenly Sam shouted and ran away laughing.

Arjun & Riya: SAM!!

We both shouted and I shook my head amused at his antics. We both came inside the room shutting the door.

Arjun: Idiot!!

I rolled my eyes and we both went to bed.

Riya: Who will say that he is a prince??

Riya said shaking her head amused. Oh no!! She doesn't just called him a prince??

Arjun: Never even say this in front of him.

I said to her in a warning. He will kill her literally.

Riya: Why??

She asked laying down beside me, and turning towards me.

Arjun: He will chop your head off. Literally.

I told her and she looked at me amused. We both laughed and I stretched out my arm indicating her to come in my arms.

Riya: Okay.

She grinned and hugged me tightly. I kissed her forehead softly and hugged her smiling. Right now I felt like nothing can go bad in life anymore. But I know life is too unpredictable. So you can't take anything or anyone for granted.

Riya: Good night Mr. Rawte!!

I heard Riya's voice and I felt her arms tighten around my waist.

Arjun: Good night Mrs. Rawte!!

I said kissing her hair softly. I am really blessed to have this beautiful girl in my life.
