I can't believe what is happening in front of my eyes. We were so happy last night and now everything is finished. Its as if someone cursed us to remain unhappy always. I looked at the girl infront of me. Two girls who has always spread light everywhere gets just despair and pain in their lives. Why??

Riya lost her entire family in just one day. And Sakshi lost her whole family today. I have never thought I will see Riya crying and broken but I had already seen that and I never thought I will see Sakshi broken and today I saw that too.

Shree: Sakshi?? Please say something.

I looked at her pleading and she looked at me with a weird smile. As if she is making fun of her life.

Sakshi: What can I say Shree?? Everything is finished. My life is finished. Its only motive is finished.

She said smiling but her eyes are telling clearly how broken she is. Her baba was the only reason she was living her life. But now that reason is gone forever.

Lisa: Sakshi please control yourself.

Lisa said looking at Sakshi with tears. Sakshi's smile vanished and her eyes filled with anger.

Sakshi: How can a person control herself when her whole life is destroyed in just seconds??

She shouted at Lisa and Lisa got up and ran out to the balcony. I indicated Chotu to look at Sakshi and he nodded and sat beside Sakshi. I ran out to the balcony. I saw Lisa crying silently.

Shree: Lisa??

I called her softly grabbing her shoulders and squeezing them gently.

Lisa: I never thought Shree that something like this can happen.

She said looking at me helpless. I know that something is hidden from us. We all don't know everything. Cause Riya, Arjun sir and Rathore sir look broken, even more than Ayesha and Abhi. They definitely know something which we don't. And even Lisa is looking like that. What happened??

Shree: What do you mean??

I asked her confused. She took a deep breath.

Lisa: Riddhi was tortured before she died. And she killed Adil Sheikh.

She said dropping down on her knees on the floor. What the!! Tortured??

Shree: But...How??

I asked her scared to know what she will say. But I have to know.

Lisa: She was raped Shree.

She said one thing that I never wanted to hear. I sat beside her with a thud. Raped??

Shree: What!!

I looked at her with tears in my eyes.

Lisa: My team called me sometime ago.

Lisa said looking down with blank eyes.

Lisa: Sakshi's baba died first, then Adil and then Riddhi. I think she killed herself.

She said looking at me helplessly. No wonder Arjun sir and Rathore sir saw her first. But when we saw her she looked fine, even cleaned. That means Riya cleaned her?? I looked at Lisa horrified. That's why Riya looked tortured. Oh god!! This is hell!!

I am standing right now in my room trying to find how will I tell Abhi about what actually happened with Riddhi. I looked out from the window only to see the sun setting down and darkness spreading. It looks like this is our life. Suddenly I heard Arjun's voice.

Arjun: Riya??

I turned around only to see him standing beside me. He is looking too disturbed. I know he remembered Roshni's death.

Riya: Didn't we all suffer enough?? Why did all this happen with Abhi?? If I am this hurt then I can't even think what will happen when Abhi and Ayesha got to know about Riddhi.

I said to him in panic. He sighed and hugged me tightly pushing my head on his chest.

Riya: Why did all this has to happen?? Why??

I felt my resolve of being in control weakening. I started crying when I felt Arjun's hands softly stroking my hairs.

Arjun: Relax Riya.

He said softly. How can I just relax?? Is it even possible??

Riya: I never thought Arjun that I will see Riddhi like that. I was shocked, hurt and I even tried to ignore what all is happening in front of me. But now I don't think I can handle all this Arjun.

I said to him panicked. It hurts to see Riddhi like that. It hurts too much.

Arjun: Shh. Riya stop.

He said kissing my hairs softly.

Riya: She was a beautiful person Arjun and yet she has to suffer so much.

I said remembering the wound which took her life. And I remember her state when I first saw her.

Arjun: I know she killed herself Riya.

Arjun said sighing sadly. He is right. She killed herself. No girl can handle being violated like that.

Riya: I know that too. Her hands were full of gunpowder and even her wound was as if someone shoot her from point blank.

I told him what I found. I hugged him tightly and he tighten his hold around me even more. I just hope we can came out from this situation. I feel broken right now. I just hope we can handle Abhi, Ayesha and Sakshi.

I looked ahead only to see sun setting down in the sea. The scene is beautiful, even peaceful, yet there can be no peace in my life.

Suddenly I felt Riddh's presence. I looked everywhere but no one is here. How can she be here?? She is dead. Suddenly I heard her voice.

Riddhi: Abhi??

I looked towards the voice only to see Riddhi in front of me smiling.

Abhilash: Ri...Riddhi?

I looked at her stunned. What?? And how??

Riddhi: What are you doing here??

She asked looking at me confused, as if she doesn't know.

Abhilash: I...I...Why did you??

I asked her with a huge lump in my throat. She is dead. Yet she is here. How??

Riddhi: You don't know everything Abhi. But how can you leave Ashu alone??

She glared at me playfully. I closed my eyes feeling tears rolled down them. I felt Riddhi wiping my tears and I opened my eyes to look at her one last time. I have to tell her.

Abhilash: I love you Riddhi.

I said to her softly. She looked at me with a beautiful smile but then shook her head in a no. I looked at her confused.

Riddhi: No you don't. You just liked me Abhi. And I am sure you will get a girl who is more deserving of you than me. At least I killed the person who wronged me. I have had my revenge Abhi. I am in peace. And I know you will find your peace too.

She said and kissed my forehead smiling. I took a deep breath trying to make her look at me but to no avail.

Abhilash: Riddhi!!

I looked at her panicked. Why am I feeling as if its the last goodbye of her??

Riddhi: Go home Abhi. I have to leave this world now. Take care of my Ashu.

She got up and started going towards the sea. And after sometime she disappears with the sea waves. I looked up to see only dark sky. She was right. I have to take care of Ashu. I wiped my tears and got up but suddenly I saw someone going towards the sea. And that someone is awfully similar to Sakshi.

Abhilash: What the hell!!

I looked at the girl startled. I pulled my phone and called Arjun.

Arjun: Hello??

Arjun picked up in just one ring.

Abhilash: Um... Arjun?? Where is Sakshi??

I asked looking at the girl who keeps on walking towards the sea.

Arjun: In her room. Why??

Arjun said in a confused tone. What the!!

Abhilash: Just check her Arjun.

I said in an urgent tone.

Arjun: Wait!!

He said and I cut the call. I looked at the girl only to see her stop near the water and then she again started moving. What the hell!! Is she trying to suicide?? Suddenly my phone rang.

Abhilash: Hello??

I picked up the call still looking at the girl and I am ready to run if I need to. She is still at the safe zone though.

Arjun: She is not here. We all are searching for her, but she is not at home.

Arjun said in panic. Then this girl is definitely Sakshi. She has gone mad for sure.

Abhilash: She is here. In front of me. Don't worry I will bring her home.

I said to him and heard him take a deep breath.

Arjun: Fine.

He said and cut the call. I looked up only to see the girl dangerously close to going to the danger zone.

Abhilash: Oh shit!!

I sweared and ran towards her.

Abhilash: SAKSHI!!

I shouted trying to stop her but its of no use. She is not even listening.

Abhilash: SAKSHI STOP!!

I shouted again and pulled her back by her hand. She looked at me startled.

Abhilash: Are you mad?? What were you doing??

I shouted at her and she winced. I took a deep breath trying to control myself.

Abhilash: Sakshi??

I called her name but she keeps looking at me as if she doesn't even know me. She is still in shock. How the hell does she came here??

Abhilash: SAKSHI!!

I shook her but instead of responding she fainted. Oh god!!

Abhilash: Freak. Sakshi get up!! Shit!!

I shook her but no use. I picked her up and took her to my car.

Finally we both reached home and I bring her inside. I looked up to see everyone sitting in the living room tensed.

Arjun: Abhi?? Sakshi!! What happened to her??

Arjun said looking at both of us tensed. I looked towards Ashu only to see her looking at Sakshi tensed. She looked at me asking as if what happened to her.

Abhilash: She was trying to suicide.

I said looking at the girl in my arms. I know what she is feeling, but death is not the solution. In fact death was never the solution.

Arjun & Riya:WHAT!!

Everyone looked at me shocked.

Abhilash: Yes. And when I tried to talk to her, she fainted.

I looked at all of them resignedly. Arjun shook his head and indicated me to bring her where he is going. I shrugged and took Sakshi to her room. I put her down on the bed and came out calling the doctor. I just hope she will be fine.

I don't know what's going on with all of us. We just lost Riddhi and now this incident with Sakshi. I still can't believe she tried to suicide. She is a brave girl yet she is completely broken. Thank god!! Abhi was there. Otherwise I don't know what would have happened.

Doctor: Don't worry she is just over stressed.

Doctor said coming out of Sakshi room. She has to be over stressed.

Doctor: But you have to take care of her. Its looking as if she has lost the will to live. As if she wants to die.

Doctor said looking at all of us tensed and I stiffened hearing what he said. He is right. She lost the will to live.

Doctor: I have prescribed some medicines and injections here. Please make sure she has them.

Doctor said handling the prescription to me. I nodded at him and saw Sam coming towards us.

Arjun: Thank you Doctor.

I shook his hands and I indicated Shree to take the doctor back.

Abhilash: Sam?? Where is Ashu?

Abhi looked at Sam curiously.

Sameer: She is sleeping. I gave some sleeping pills to her.

Sam said and looked at Sakshi's room tensed. We all came down to the living room only to see Riya putting everyone's coffee and my tea on the table. What a girl she is!! She is broken herself yet she is handling everyone here.

Riya: Abhi?? You okay??

Riya asked looking at Abhi tensed. We all looked at Abhi only to see him looking down thinking something.

Sameer: I think you should take leave for some days Abhi.

Sam said looking at Abhi somewhat pleading. He is right. Abhi needs rest.

Arjun: Sam is right Abhi. Take some rest.

I said to him and he nodded sighing sadly. I know he is not in the mental frame to do any work.

Abhilash: Hmm. I will talk to Coelho sir.

He said looking at me smiling sadly.

Arjun: We have already talked to him. Don't worry.

He nodded and went to his room. I looked down thinking how will we tell Abhi and Ayesha about Riddhi.

Shree: What are you thinking Arjun sir??

Shree asked looking at me curiously.

Arjun: Nothing. Just how will we tell everything to Abhi and Ayesha??

I said trying to think how can we tell them everything. We can't hide this truth from them for always. We all know this apart from Ayesha and Abhi and they will be hurt if they got to know about it.

Shree: Only Rathore sir can tell this to Ayesha.

Shree said looking at Sam. Sameer sighed and nodded silently.

Sameer: And Abhi??

Sam asked looking at all of us tensed.

Chotu: Rii??

Chotu said looking at Riya tensed.

Riya: I will talk to him tomorrow.

Riya said sighing and got up. Now what happened to her??

Riya: You guys get freshen up. I will set the table.

She said looking at all of us sternly. I don't even feel like eating anything.

Arjun: Riya. We don't feel like eating anything.

I said to her in a soft voice. She shook her head sadly.

Riya: Relax. I know no one wants to eat anything. I just prepared soups. Just have them.

She said and went to kitchen. I went to my room to freshen up. When I came out from ensuite Riya was sitting on the bed resting her head on the headrest. And there is just one soup bowl on the table besides my side of the bed.

I sat on the bed looking at her softly. She is strong yet she is vulnerable. She is a strange person.

Arjun: Why are you not eating anything??

I asked her softly and she opened her eyes looking at me smiling sadly.

Riya: I just don't feel like eating.

She said shrugging nonchalantly. I shook my head at her. When I said that we don't feel like eating then she gave us soups and now she is behaving as if its no big deal.

Arjun: Riya!! Come here.

I said grabbing the soup bowl and forwarding a spoon in front of her. She shook her head in a no.

Arjun: Come on!!

I glared at her and she sighed and had the first sip. I tried to feed her another spoon when she put that spoon in my mouth forcefully. What the hell!! She will never behave herself. I smiled at her shaking my head.

I was sitting in the living room reading some file when Nakul and Nihal came to the room running. Now what happened to them??

Nakul: Bade Papa!! Did you hear the news??

Nakul asked sitting beside me tensed. I looked at him and shrugged. I know what he is talking about.

Suryakant: Hmm. Adil Sheikh is dead. He was a very big business man.

I said and started reading the file again.

Nakul: But he was a criminal Bade Papa. He was included in women trafficking.

Nakul said looking at me tensed. I looked at him stunned. What the hell!! Women Trafficking??

Suryakant: What??

I looked at both Nakul and Nihal stunned. I didn't know that. Shit!! And I was planning to do business with that leach.

Nihal: And we got to know that Ayesha's sister, Riddhi, killed this Adil Sheikh. But she is dead too.

Nihal said looking at me sadly. What the!! Now who is this Ayesha??

Suryakant: Ayesha??

I looked at both of them confused.

Nakul: The girl who was with Sameer Bhai.

Nakul told me and I remembered the girl who was with Sameer that day. She is a police officer too.

Nihal: And even Sakshi's Baba is dead.

Nihal said looking down sadly. What the hell!! What's going on in their lives?? And why??

Suryakant:Did you talked to Arjun??

I looked at both of them worried.

Nakul: No Bade Papa. We didn't have the time to call them.

Nakul said sighing sadly. I think its time to go to them. How will they handle all this alone??

Suryakant: Where is Anjali??

I asked getting up and closed my file.

Anjali: I am here. What happened??

Anjali asked coming out from the kitchen.

Suryakant: Get ready. We are going to Arjun's home. I know they all will be there only.

I said to all of them seriously and they all looked at me smiling. We all leave to go to Arjun's home.

Finally we reached there after almost 1 hour. What's the need to purchase a house that is so far away from ours?? Idiot!! We all entered the gates only to see Arjun sitting on the bench outside. Alone. I indicated Anjali to go him and she nodded.

Anjali: Arjun??

She called him softly and Arjun looked at her stunned.

Arjun: Mom? What are you doing here?? If Dad knows then...

He started saying looking at Anjali panicked.

Suryakant: I am here too.

I said and he looked at me stunned. His eyes are filled with tears. I stood beside Anjali and she sat beside Arjun.

Anjali: How did all this happened??

She asked from Arjun softly and Arjun looked at her tensed.

Suryakant: We know about that businessman.

I told him and he sighed sadly. Suddenly we all heard a shriek. A girl's shriek.

Sakshi: BABA!!

I know this girl can only be Sakshi. I can't believe it. When I saw that girl she was smiling and laughing, and now she is crying like this.

Arjun: Shit!!

Arjun sweared and ran towards her room. We all went behind him. We came in only to see Arjun standing beside Riya who was sitting on one side beside Sakshi on the bed.

Riya: Sakshi?? You okay??

Riya asked looking at Sakshi tensed.

Sakshi: Riya!! Baba is going. Stop him Riya. You...You said that he will be okay. Then why are you not stopping him from going Riya. Stop him please!!

Sakshi looked at Riya first with helplessness, then with anger and then as if she is pleading. I saw Riya stiffen suddenly and then she got up as if someone gave her a shock. She looked at Sakshi with a guilty face.

She turned and ran out. I can see Riya is really hurt. But no one can blame Sakshi too. She is not in her senses.

Arjun: Riya!!

Arjun shouted and turned to ran behind Riya but then he looked at Sakshi clearly conflicted about what to do. I sighed hoping that everything will be okay for these children.

Suryakant: Go to her Arjun. We will handle her.

I said to him and he looked at me tensed.

Arjun: But Dad...

He was going to say something when that curly haired boy, Shree, came inside with another girl and that Chotu.

Shree: You go Arjun sir. We are here too.

Shree said and Arjun nodded at him. Then Arjun ran out.

Anjali: Shh, Sakshi stop crying baby.

Anjali said hugging Sakshi and stroking her hairs. I know she will handle this girl.

She was right. Absolutely right. I promised them that I won't let anything happen to Riddhi or Sakshi's Baba. Then why are they both suffering so much?? Why did Riddhi suffered so much?? All this is my fault. I am just a bad omen in everyone's life. Nothing can be good when I am around.

Arjun: Riya stop. RIYA!!

I heard Arjun shouting and suddenly I felt a pull on my hands. I turned around only to see Arjun holding my arms.

Riya: She was right. I...I can't fulfill one small promise. I can't protect her Baba. I am useless Arjun. I couldn't protect my family.

I said to him feeling helpless. I dropped down on the grass feeling the weight of guilt settling on my shoulders.

Arjun: Riya stop blaming yourself. Please.

Arjun said sitting beside me and hold me in his arms. He is the only one with whom I can felt some peace. Otherwise its as if I am a big loser.

Riya: I promised them that nothing will happen to Sakshi's Baba and Ayesha's sister.

I said to him crying helplessly. He tighten his hold and caressed my hairs softly.

Arjun: You can't handle everything Riya.

He said softly kissing my forehead. I closed my eyes letting my tears flow.

Riya: How much guilt do I have to bear in my life Arjun?? How much??

I said to him crying unable to handle this burden of guilt. This is not right. This is not how I envisioned my life. I felt Arjun kissing my tears away and I opened my eyes nervously only to see him looking at me intently. I looked at him trying to search if he is pitying me but his eyes doesn't held pity, his eyes held compassion, for me. He shook his head in a no, wiping my tears. Suddenly we heard someone calling us.

Suryakant: Arjun?? Riya??

I looked up only to see Arjun's Dad here. What the hell is he doing here??

Arjun: Dad!!

Arjun said sighing tensed. Mr. Rawte pulled a chair towards the place where we sat and sat on the chair.

Riya: What are you doing here Mr. Rawte??

I asked him unable to hold my grudge. Why is he here?? To laugh at us?? To tell us that we can't handle ourselves??

Suryakant: I am sorry.

He said suddenly looking at me and Arjun. I looked at him stunned. What is this??

Arjun: Why??

Arjun asked looking at his Dad confused. Even I am confused.

Suryakant: I want to say sorry to you that day. But instead I said thank you.

Arjun's Dad said smiling somewhat. Oh!! that's why he was so hesitant that day and I made the matters worse. I wanted to say sorry too but Arjun's Dad started saying something again.

Suryakant: I know I was never a good son. But I wanted to be a good father. My Baba wanted me to become an army officer, but I was too scared of all the hurt and death, so I choose the easy option. I am really proud to be your Dad , Arjun. I am proud that you still carry my name even after I said so many things to you.

He said looking at Arjun proudly with tears in my eyes. I smiled genuinely for the first time after this incident. I can see he is proud of Arjun. I can see he is serious.

Arjun: You have the right. You are my dad.

Arjun said looking at his Dad smiling. I sighed feeling relaxed that Arjun will have his family with him from now on.

Suryakant: No Arjun. I don't have the right to insult you. My Baba was hurt by my decision, but he never break his relationship with me. He never insulted me or my choice. When I first met Roshni, I was scared for her and for you too.

He said looking down and then looked at Arjun tensed. He was scared for Arjun and Roshni?? Why?? I looked at him confused.

Arjun: What?? Why??

Arjun asked looking at his Dad startled. Even I want to know the answer of this question.

Suryakant: I saw in the first glance that Roshni was a pure soul. She finds good in even bad things or situations. And such persons are very dangerous Arjun. Such persons want to give second chances to criminals too. Cause they didn't recognise the extent to which these criminals go to.

He said looking at Arjun with a sorry face and Arjun looked down tensed. I know Arjun's dad is right somewhat.

Suryakant: And I could see that you were softening up too. I could never see my son like that. Like a teddy bear. I mean who would think that ACP Arjun Rawte is a softie??

Arjun's Dad said huffing as if irritated and we both looked at him stunned. Arjun Rawte?? And a teddy bear?? I can't believe it.

They both looked at me stunned and Arjun looked as if I said something disgusting. What?? I said the truth. He had started being soft to everyone after he married Roshni.

Arjun: Dad please. I was never soft with criminals.

He said rolling his eyes. Suddenly Riya started laughing like mad. Now what happened to her??

Arjun: Why are you laughing??

Arjun looked at Riya irritated. Amazing!! Just some minutes ago, they are consoling each other and now they are ready to fight each other??

Riya: Arjun Suryakant Rawte?? And teddy bear??

Riya looked at Arjun amused and then started laughing again. I felt my lips stretched in a soft smile. She is a good girl.

Arjun: Shut up Riya.

Arjun snapped glaring at her and she looked at Arjun raising her eyebrow.

Riya: Who are you glaring at ACP?? I am not afraid of you.

She said rolling her eyes and Arjun frowned at her.

Arjun: That's what I wanted to ask you.

He looked at Riya as if he wanted to ask something very important from her. I looked at both of them amused and interested.

Riya: What??

Riya looked at Arjun curiously.

Arjun: You always got scared when I scolded you before. But now you don't even take my scolding seriously. What the hell is wrong with you??

Arjun asked looking at Riya irritated. She looked at Arjun smiling slightly.

Riya: ACP Rawte!! You can't hurt a nail of mine. That's what changed from before and now. I didn't know before that you will hurt me or not. But now I know you will never hurt me.

She said softly and Arjun shook his head exaggerated.

Arjun: Just great!!

He rolled his eyes at Riya. I can clearly see the Arjun I always wanted to see and I know she brought him back.

Suryakant: Thank you Riya!!

I looked at her softly. They both looked at me startled.

Riya: For what??

She asked looking at me frowning.

Suryakant: I am seeing my Arjun in him.

I said putting my hand on Arjun's head. He smiled and put his head on my lap and I stroked his hairs. He had always come to me whenever he was upset. But in last 5 years everything changed.

Riya: Sorry!!

I heard Riya's voice and looked at her frowning. Why is she saying sorry??

Riya: I talked rudely to you.

She said with a guilty face. I shook my head at her. If not for her, I never would have thought how much I tore my wife apart with my wish. When I myself wants to see Arjun and talk to him.

Suryakant: No need to be sorry. In fact I needed that reality check.

I said to her smiling and she nodded grinning. Its good to see a smile on their faces.

Arjun: Exactly. No one scolds Suryakant Rawte, not even Mom. And look at her Dad, she beats her husband.

Arjun said looking at Riya glaring. Riya looked at him stunned.

Riya: Arjun!!

She shouted and hits Arjun on his head and that too hard. Arjun glared at her.

Arjun: Riya!!

He shouted and she ran away from here and he ran behind her. I smiled looking at both of them fighting like kids. I looked up only to see Anjali looking down from a window towards me smiling. I smiled and looked again at Arjun and Riya who were behaving like two kids. I sat on the bench looking at the stars hoping that all of them remain happy and together no matter what.
