PROLOGUE
Arjun after completing pooja which he does for Roshni's death anniversary every year came out of small temple. He did not believe in God in past and not now also, but for Roshni Arjun perform this ritual every year without failing.
His feet dragged him towards the park besides temple and unknown to himself he started walking their. He didn't know, why? but his mind was restless. He still was not able to catch Sikander and avenge Roshni's death and that frustration, helplessness was their but along with that his mind was disturbed because of his feelings for that one stubborn girl. She inspite of being pushed away, managed to touch his heart, stirred something within him everytime they meet.
"Riya"
A hushed whisper left his mouth as he saw her sitting alone on one bench. Well it was technically Sunday, official off day so she can be where she want, but never in his wildest thought he had expected to meet her here, in that temple. More than anything what shocked him was her attire, she was wearing plain white salwar as if she was here for the same pooja he did as he was wearing white kurta paijama.
Arjun stood blank, seeing that lost, pained expression on her face. Was she sad for him? Was she there for him?How she got to know he will be there? Why she was doing all that? His mind suddenly got flooded with too many questions of which he had no answers.
Before he stepped towards her, he saw the very same pandit who did all rituals of pooja for him, walking towards her holding pooja thali in his hands. He went towards Riya talked for a while, gave pooja thali to her and as Riya bend to take his blessings he blessed her, place affectionate hand on her head and walked away.
Arjun watch watching the scene carefully, tears that rolled down from Riya's eyes did not go unnoticed by him. Before talking to her he thought to have word with PanditJi, and guess God was on his side, that PanditJi himself walked towards Arjun with Prasad. This time Arjun not denied, while his gaze was fix on Riya.
Noticing his gaze, PanditJi gave sad smile to Arjun and said, "Pata nahi kyu bhagwan hamesha acche logo ke saath hi aisa karte hai...Aaj ke din hi aap apni patni se dur huye the aur wo bechari bacchi apne apno se, na janne bhagwan ne kya soach rakha hai...Bas itni dua hai bhagwan sab thik kare..."
"What?" Was the single thought on Arjun's mind...
"Riya ne apne apno ko khoya hai, aur mai ye baat nahi janta"
"Akhir kab, kaise, aur phir bhi kabhi uske behaviour se kisi ko kuch pata nahi chala..."
Arjun turned towards Riya with lots of questions in his mind to get shocked seeing her with two babies... She was holding one baby of about year old in her arms and caressing him with motherly affection and one baby of same age was seating on bench beside her whom she was holding with one arm protectively. They both were in white attire...Arjun was numb with some realizations as his mind connected dots...
