PART 1
She was sitting on the swing lost in her thoughts when he came there with two mugs of coffee & sat besides her. Her reverie broke when she heard her name being called, "Sakshi..!" She looked to the side to see him sitting there with a worried expression. Of course he was worried. Worried for her. Its only he, who understands her. He, who has always been there for her when she lost the reason to live, He, who took care of her when she didn't care about her life & when she was in a state to not even recognize herself. Her FAMILY, her SOULMATE, her BEST FRIEND, her EVERYTHING. She took the mug he handed her & looked ahead. He waited for sometime, thinking she will open up but when she didn't, he said, "Sakshi..! come on. Don't behave as an isolated person now. Talk to me." she took a deep breath & said, "Talk about what karan ..?" "About what you are thinking. Please Sakshi Don't do this to yourself. Share with me, what you are feeling. Let it out, Everything you have in your heart." he said.
He knew Sakshi was very upset & it was very important for her to vent out her feelings otherwise she will suffer. She looked at him when held her hands in his keeping both their coffee mugs aside. He said, "Sash..! you know you can't hide your emotions from me. I know what you are feeling & i want you to share it with me. Dekh..! Tu kahe ya na kahe main teri ankhon mein chupa wo dard prh sakta hoon. Keh de.. Jo kuch bhi tere andar hai nikal de usey bahar." She looked at him with tears swimming in her eyes & said, "Karan..! How can i go back there. After what happened i C.. can't... Unsab k saath dobara kaise kaam kar paungi main. Jo kuch bhi hua..wo.. jab maine Mumbai chora i had decided it that i will never meet them again. Lekin meri Qismat..! isne hamesha mujhe dhoka diya hai aur aj ek baar phir mujhe usi jagah le jarahi hai jahan maine apna sab kuch khoya tha." and a tear slipped down her cheek. Karan cupped her face, & wiping that tear said, "Hey..! meri saki itni kamzor to nhi hai k tufan k anay ki sirf khabar sunke hi shor macha de. Usne to bare bare tufano ka dat kar saamna kiya hain then what happened to you now. See i now its really difficult for you to take this decision. But sakshi..! whatever happened it was past. And its over. Ab tu woh purani sakshi nhi hai. Ab tu ek nayi sakshi hai wo sakshi jise koi na hara sakta hai na dara sakta hai." sakshi looked at him & said, "But karan.! How will i face them again. I.." she was cut off by karan, "Sakshi.! wasn't it you who always said that you have moved on. Then what is the problem now. If you have moved on then you shouldn't be concerning with where you are going or whom you are going to work with. You said naa that you don't care about them anymore, then why are you getting weak now. Ya phr tu ab tak jo hua usay yaad kar ke apni zindagi ko kharab karna chahti hai. I think you still care for them. And that too for those who don't deserve you. You still haven't moved on." he said.
Karan's words triggered sakshi's mind bringing back all the memories that still haunted her. She looked at him sharply & said through gritting teeth, "I don't care for them. Mujhe koi faraq nhi parta unke honay na hone se main apni life mein move on kar chuki hoon." "It doesn't seem so.." karan said delibrately knowing it would make her angry. And an angry sakshi brings out the best in her. "No.! i don't.." she said in angry tone & karan also asked in the same tone, "Then why is it affecting you to know that you are going to work with ETF. Just let it be. Take it easy. Ye socho k tmhe tumhari duty k liye ek dosre shehar transfer kiya jaa rha hai. Wahan jao apna kaam karo, apna mission pura karo aur wapis ajao. That's it." Sakshi looked at him like he had grown two heads, "That's it..? No karan..! Its not that easy. Mujhe wahan unke saath kaam karna padega 24 ghantay unke chehre dekhne hongay jo mujhe baar baar ye yaad dilayen ge k main ek haari hui insaan hoon" "But you said you don't care." karan said to which she wasn't able to reply. When she hadn't said anything he sighed & cupping her cheeks made her look at him & said," Sakshi..! why don't you understand. Tu kyun bhool rhi hai k teri zindagi ka ek maqsad hai. Aur tu apne past ko apne maqsad ko affect karne ka mauqa de rhi hai. Saki..! you had waited really long for this opportunity & now finally when you are so near to complete your mission you can't get weak. Aur tu hari hui nahi hai sakshi. Tu hi kehti thi na k kabhi kabhi insaan sab kuch kho kar bhi jeet jata hai aur kabhi kabhi sab kuch paa kar bhi khali haath reh jaata hai. Aur waise bhi jo chala gaya uspe kya afsos karna, samajh le wo tere qaabil hi nhi tha" Sakshi looked at him like she came back to reality. While karan continued, "Sakshi tujhe ye mission poora karna hai, apne liye, mere liye, apne desh k liye. Tu kmozor nhi par sakti. Yaad haina Anand uncle kya kehte thay..?"
Sakshi nodded and said chocking on her words "Papa kehte thay ke A soldier is never off duty. Hamare desh ka hum par qarz hai aur usey utarne k liye hamari jaan ki qurbani bhi kam hai. Ek sacha officer kabhi bhi apne emotions ko apni duty k beech nhi anay deta." karan smiled & said "Exactly. Aur phir main hoon na tere saath tujhe bachane k liye. Mere hote huay ab tujhe koi bhi hurt nhi kar sakta" Sakshi smiled and then wiped her tears with a determination & said, "You are right karan. I can't get weak now. Apni manzil k itna qareeb akar main haar nhi maan sakti. Main larun gi, Apne desh k liye, apne liye. Main apne aapko insaaf dilaungi, main ek aur sakshi ko is duniya mein wo sehne nahin doon gi jo mujhe sehna para. Main kamzor nhi parun gi. Hum Mumbai zaroor jayen ge." Karan smiled widely at her decision. Sakshi smiled back & hugged him while his arms tightened around her assuring her that he was there. Always.
Next day they were back in the same office to meet the same man. They knocked on the cabin door which read, "Amarnath Singh". As they seated in the cabin the man smiled & asked "How are you sakshi..? Kal to bohat gusse mein theen? Baap re main to sach mein dar gaya tha" he teased her to which she replied sheepishly, "I..i am sorry chief. I shouldn't have behaved the way i did last night. I.." but was cut of by the man, "Acha.. toh ab hamari choti si guriya hum se sorry karegi.?" he asked as if he is disappointed. Sakshi didn't know what to reply "i.." But he laughed & said "its okay beta.. I know its really tough for you. Its completely fine. Anyway lets come to the point now. Hmare paas zyada time nh hai you guys have a flight tomorrow." sakshi said "But chief ek baat mujhe abhi tak samajh nhi ayi. What is the need to join ETF." Karan also said, "Exactly. I mean Mumbai main usay dhoondne k aur bhi kayi tareeqe hain. Then why ETF..?" Amarnath Singh looked at both of them, then sighing he said, "Look, I know We can find him by some other means but there are some things you guys need to know. According to our Information, ETF team is in danger. Un sabki jaan ko khtra hai." "What.." Sakshi almost screamed.
Amarnaath looked at her reaction then continued, "I know its shocking but its true. Wo unsab se badla lena chahta hai unhen khatam kar ke. Moreover ETF hi ka ek member is mein uski help kar rha hai." Sakshi was shocked beyond limits. She said "But sir this is not possible. I..I know them un mein se koi bhi aisa nahi kar sakta. Wo apne desh k saath ghaddari kabhi nhi karenge." Amarnaath said, "Sakshi relax. I know & i do believe you but hamari information ghalat nhi hai. We have cross checked it more than once. And i know that you can gaurantee their innocence. Lekin Sakshi ab time badal chuka hai. Tumhe ETF chore bohat waqt hogya hai aur ab wahan bohat Changes ho chuke hain. Ab wahan srf wo log kaam nh karte jinhen tum janti ho. Ab Etf main do naye members bhi hain." Sakshi asked, "Toh apko un par shak hai..?"Amarnath sighed, "Nahi sakshi. Mujhe srf un dono par doubt nh hai. Mera doubt poori ETF team par hai. Dekho Sakshi, hum jis profession mein hain wahan hum kisi par bhi bharosa nahi kar skte. One wrong judgement and everything will be Finished. And moreover, as i said that ETF team is in danger & they don't even know it, so we have to act fast. In last few days, ETF had been attacked twice but to their luck they survived, lekin dono baar attacks aise kiye gaye hain k it looks like an accident, as if they were not the target." Listening all this Sakshi and Karan were shocked, while Amarnath continued, "Dekho sakshi, we all know why is he there. He is there to take his revenge. And we have to stop him. Many lives are at cost. Is liye hum ne decide kiya hai k tum log ETF join karo ge kyun k is se hamare bht saare kaam hojayen ge. Tum logon k hotay huay ETF members will be secure, you guys can find about the black sheep in ETF who's helping HIM. More over, it will be easy to track HIM." Karan & Sakshi just nodded.
Amarnath continued "Sakshi one more thing, You.. will be joining ETF as their Chief." If you say sakshi was shocked, then it would be understatement. "Chief..? But sir ETF ke chief ACP Sameer Rathore hain. How can she be..?" Karan asked. Amarnath said. "Karan my boy.. The thing is k sakshi only as an ETF member wahan kuch nh kar skti. She needs to have some authority. Agr sakshi ka ETF team par control hoga toh that will be easy. No one would be able to question her acts. Wahan ksi k under kaam kar ke you guys will be suspected. So now Pack your bags guys you are leaving tomorrow. Mumbai main DIG Raghu ne saara intezaam kar lia hai. So, all the best you two, I know you will succeed. And just so you know, Any queries and i am just a call away. Hmm.." He dismissed the two. As Karan & sakshi came out they were speechless. They looked at each other & heaved a stressful sigh. This is going to be a Long journey for them. A journey which will turn their world upside down.
Next day,
The time went by packing all the stuff, collecting infos & activating their informers. Now it was time for them to board the plane. Sakshi was hell nervous, she was breathing heavily. Noticing this Karan just clasped her hand in his tightly & nodded at her. She returned the same with a rarely their smile, but karan had seen the pain in her eyes he knew how difficult it is for her to go there. To face her bitter past again. But he vowed to himself to always protect her. He will not let any body hurt his Sunshine ever. AS the flight landed and they arrived at Mumbai airport Sakshi's condition worsened. She was hyperventilating. 3 years. After 3 long years she was back. Back to the place where she actually belonged. Back to the people who once she loved the most. Though it seems nothing has changed in this city but deep inside she knew everything has changed. She was changed. Now she was not the bubbly, chirpy happy-go-lucky girl. She was a matured grown up woman now. Who is living just for one mission to complete. To fulfill a promise she made to herself. As she felt karan hugging her sidely she looked at him. He said soothingly "Relax Sunshine. I am there with you. And we will sail through it together." She smiled & nodded at him. Not this time, she thought. She will not let anyone break her, she will not fall weak in front of her past. She was ready to face anything and everything life throws her way. She was determined now & once Sakshi Anand makes up her mind then nothing in this demon world can change that.. Get ready to face the wrath of the devil, because SHAKSHI ANAND is coming. She smirks widely.. LET THE GAME BEGIN..
