Arakshi OS : Deception

A soft pulsating irregular beat in a man's heart occurred when he noticed the adorable lady by his side.

She seemed to be their neighbour's daughter. He couldn't explain to his family the irresistible pull he had for her. The wide dark deer eyes, the tinted rouge hue on her cheeks, the pink bow shaped lips.

Had he had the knowledge and liberty to write a poem then he would written sonnets on this wonderful lady.

Perhaps today he would get the opportunity of expressing his pent up emotions since one torturous month.

Thankfully all the other members of either's family were at the garden, gaily talking and laughing at each other.

"This is the time Arjun!" With a quick prayer to the lords above he managed to get enough courage to make a move towards her.

Sakshi paused to play with her flower and crossed her legs on the sofa. Her eyes darted to the well dressed man before her who was gazing at her intently. A warm blush spread through her cheeks as she noticed him inching towards her.

Her interest had piqued in her neighbour's when she saw him impeccably dressed in a semi formal suit. He was dashing and extremely handsome. In spite of their one month acquaintance it hurt her that he never made a move nor even spoke to her.

She looked for her parents and gasped when his palm covered hers. Sakshi looked for her parents but they seemed away, probably chatting away with her parents. She played with the hem of her pastel pink dress as she heard him clear his throat.

She quietly prayed that this was not another occasion where he would only hold her palm and clear his throat and say nothing!

Like for the past thirty one days!

"Hi..." he whispered near her ears and Sakshi whipped her head aside and blushed a pretty pink as her button nose brushed against his lean one. As she looked into his ebony eyes did she realise that they had indeed spoken a lot of times,

Except in silence...

Arjun gently rest his forehead on hers, his lungs filling with her sweet vanilla essence. She was delicious! Her soft cheeks and plush lips screamed touch while he looked into her eyes for permission.

Sakshi loved the way they conversed in silence, words would do shame in describing her feelings. Had he known that she had harboured so many dreams for them, even though it was nothing but a case of love at first sight.

The slight wicked smile on Arjun's lips was a sight to watch. Sakshi smiled and touched his neck to find him chuckle and brush her hands away.

For Sakshi it seemed to be a delightful game! She tickled his chin again and Arjun laughed and pushed her slightly, to only pull her back.

I love you...

His eyes whispered the words. Sakshi's laughter died down as she read the pure, honest and unadulterated love reflecting in his eyes.

She cupped his warm cheek and brushed the other with her own fluffy cheek.

I love you too...

A smile spread across his handsome face as he caught on her words. He entwined their palms and kissed her button nose. Sakshi blushed a violent crimson from head to toe and kissed his nose as well.

You mean everything to me, my today and tomorrow... my forever.

Sakshi shook her head and pulled his hair slightly, loving the scowl adorning his face.

How can you love me suddenly?

Arjun's eyes rounded at her accusation and he pushed her hands aside. Sakshi thoroughly hurt from his action, teared up instantly.

I fell in love with you when I saw you first... but I was too shy to admit it! Why do you think I want to know you?

Arjun turned his back at her till he heard a soft hiccup and cry.

Sorry! Everyone calls me beautiful so I needed to know why you love me...

Arjun cradled Sakshi in his arms and pecked her rouge cheeks.

They say when innocence and passion entwine with each other do they form an insatiable desire and attraction for each other.

Likewise for Arjun and Sakshi, blissfully unaware of their parents and others drowned into a world of love.

Pecks turned into embraces into lingering kisses.

Her hair band was thrown aside as Arjun felt her silky tresses and tried to comb them on his own.

He cupped her cheeks and pressed kisses all around her face.

"Arjun?" "Sakshi?"

Suryakant Rawte and Akash Anand stared at them.

Arjun looked at his father and looked back at Sakshi who hugged him tightly.

"Papa, yeh meri zindagi hai... mujhe sirf iske saath jeena hai. Bohot der tak apne armaan ko apne andar rakha kyunki aap kehte the ki yeh meri laya nahi hai!"

"Yeh TV kisne chalu rakkha!" Maya Rawte shut the television which had the hero protesting against the father after his father's anger on his son's lover choice.

Suddenly the hall broke into laughter...

Why?

Well who wouldn't laugh at watching two toddlers kissing and cuddling each other?

Baby Arjun winked at Baby Sakshi as her father carried his cherubic baby back home.
