Very beautifully written.

But I am bit confused.

Who is she?

And why the hell Arjun is looking for her mother?

So, that's how he killed the man.

But why did he killed him at first place?

And who was the other man?

A Coherent Codicil!

Part-3:

Inscription on a tombstone:
"I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK"

"Dad was restless since my mother's death last year!", the director's son informed.

"Do you know what this is?

"Yes, its uncle's favorite whisky bottle's cap, isn't it? We have a stock here actually. See!" he pointed a showcase with bottles.

"Where did you get this?"

There were two different brands of whisky bottles in the showcase.

Mr. Kalidass called and informed that Mrs. Sylvia Pat would be present at the station in half an hour.

"Yes! We had an appointment that evening, but he cancelled it and suggested the next day," Mrs. Sylvia Pat said.

"You were angry with him for the failure of your last movie, right?- he asked.

"Not angry actually. Just disappointed, Yes!"

"Disappointment won't take much time to turn into angry."

"What do you mean?"

"Just telling."

She glared at him.

"Do you drink?"

"No!"

She said abruptly.

"Especially whisky?"

"Why, No!" She was getting anger.

"Shall we take the prints of your fingers?"

"Is it necessary?"

He nodded.

He noticed the number before attending the call.

"I want to talk to you."

"Ok!"-he said.

"This evening."

"Sorry dear, I can't move from here today!"

"All right, tomorrow?"

"May be!"

"Same place, same time as usual."

She said but it was not in the usual tone.

"Right!"

She cut the call, before he got a chance to say good bye.

'Very well!'

Mr.Jayendar, the victim's brother-in-law, had been called for questioning.

"Why did you call him that afternoon?"

"It was just a casual call, sir. He was depressed since the movie's flop."

"Did you know that he was going to that hotel?"

"No! He didn't tell me?"

"Do you know he had an appointment with Mrs. Sylvia pat that evening?"

"Yes! He said so! Why?"

"Can you tell us why he cancelled the appointment as she claims?"

"Actually, No! He said just about the appointment, but not about the cancellation."

"Do you know if she drinks?"

"Why, Yes! Uncle (The victim) would tell, sometimes they would drink on discussion, when they were alone. In fact, she loves his brand. He would tell, she wouldn't like people to know about this habit."

In a restaurant-

Once she sat in the seat, she observed him sharply.

"Shall we order?"

"Yes!"

She started stirring the food.

"Why did you search my mother the other day?

She started.

"Don't you know?"

"Answer me!"

"I told you that day, if you've forgotten that, to question her about Mr.Sinha's murder."

"That's what I'm asking! Why should you question her about a murder?"

"Since she had an appointment with him that evening! Didn't she tell this to you?"

"So you are now clear that she didn't involve in that murder."

He just smiled at her affably.

"Do you think she could have done it?"

"..."

"Do you really think that she can do a murder?"

"..."

"God! Is she still a suspect in this case?"

"She was just a producer for his movie!"

She stopped talking suddenly, once realized that she was talking alone and she alone was talking!

"Well, I can read a newspaper for more information."

She yielded, helplessly.

"I want to tell you something!"

She said looking up from her plate.

Then he responded.

"Yes, please!"

"When mother was in her college days, she had not even thought of doing movies."

"Uh-huh!" He put the glass down and got ready to hear a flashback.

"One day when she was returning from her classes, there was a shooting going on, which she wasn't aware of. They were checking the pipe-lines, set on the trees for a rain scene. The man who was checking them wasn't informed about the cancellation of shooting that day. So he was busy and didn't see her approaching.

He started the rainfall and she started getting wet."

"Oh!"

"Once they knew that he was wasting the water, rushed out there and saw her dripping, enjoying in the shower all over.

"She was shocked at the sudden stoppage of the rain drops and stopped to dry her dress and hair that was when the director of the movie approached her to request her to do a movie for him. That way she got into the industry."

"Cool!"

He commented.

"Do you understand now?"

"Well... I..."

"She is still like that!"

"I don't see the link!"

"You are the policeman here, right?"

"Yes..." He said hesitantly.

"Find out!"

She got to her feet, bid a sweet (?!) good night and left him alone.

'Women!' He thought.
