CHAPTER 8:
Sakshi was sleeping peacefully. Arjun already woke up and finished his morning chores. He was gazing out of the window. It was a fine morning. Soft cotton like clouds was flooding in the sky. Gentle breeze was blowing. The atmosphere had a gentle and soft touch. He looked back at Sakshi. He smiled seeing her innocent sleep. He slowly walked towards her. He kneeled at her side and softly grazed her cheek. A beautiful smile crept up in her angelic face. She stirred but slid back to sleep again.
Arjun: Hamesha aise hi muskurate raho.
He got up from there and went to kitchen. The morning was beautiful. He decided to give Sakshi surprise. He put the coffee pot in the stove and poured water in coffee pot. After a little search he brought out the coffee powder. He also brought out milk from the freeze. He made the coffee with great difficulty. Then he made a cup of cutting chai. He also made some sandwiches. He put the cup and the plate of sandwich in a tray and went back to the room. He put the tray beside and shook Sakshi.
Arjun: Get up sleepy head. Bohot so lya.
Sakshi stirred and opened her eyes. She looked up at Arjun and smiled.
Sakshi: Good morning.
Arjun: Good morning.
Sakshi got up in the bed and yawned. Then her eyes fall on the tray beside her. She looked at Arjun then again at the tray.
Sakshi: Yeh tumne banya?
Arjun nodded.
Arjun: Tumhare lye surprise.
Sakshi: Khane lyek hai?
Arjun pouted.
Arjun: Main itna ghatya cook bhi nehi hoom.
Sakshi laughed out. She couldn't help but pulling Arjun's cheek.
Sakshi: You are so cute while pouting.
Arjun: Cute and me!! No way. I am hot.
Sakshi: Ouch. Mera hat jal gya.
Arjun smiled a naughty smile.
Arjun: Kaho to tumhe puri tarah se jala du?
He wiggled his eyebrows. Sakshi laughed out loud. But stopped noticing Arjun's intense gaze. She blushed.
Sakshi: Main washroom hokar ata hoom.
Arjun: Arre pehle coffee aur sandwitch to chakhke dekho.
Sakshi shook her head but took the coffee and sandwich.
Sakshi: Coffee is too good. And the sandwich is yummy.
Arjun became very happy.
Arjun: Really?
Sakshi nodded her head positively.
Sakshi: Par yeh batao. Achanakse aise surprise kiyu?
Arjun: Aisehi. Mausam bada suhana hai. To socha tumhari subah ko aur suhana kar deta hoom.
Sakshi smiled and nodded her head.
Sakshi: Well Mr. Arjun Rawte are you trying to woe me?
Arjun: Yes. Is it working?
Sakshi: Yes it is.
Arjun grinned. Sakshi put the almost empty cup aside and got down from the bed. After finishing her morning chore she came out wearing a leggings and a rose colored camisole.
She was looking like fresh flower. She dried her hair and combed it. She put it down and turned around. She sheepishly approached Arjun who was staring at her like an idiot.
Sakshi: Main kaisi lag rahi hoom?
Arjun: Gorgeous.
She blushed.
Sakshi: Thanks. Toh aab haam kaha ja rahe hai?
Arjun: Huh? Oh yeah. Today we are going to visit the beach.
Sakshi: Let's go.
Whole day they visit place to place. They tried new food. Arjun bought a new hat for Sakshi. She also bought new t shirt for him.
Unknown to them a pair of eye was always keeping eye on them. Or to be exact on Sakshi. Though Arjun didn't feel anything Sakshi turned around time to time. But there were so many people she couldn't trace the man. She thought of telling Arjun but dismissed the idea. He was looking so happy so relax. She wanted to enjoy the moment with him.
That night both went to sleep with fresh and happy mind. Sakshi turned to Arjun who was sleeping with his back towards her. He was as usual wearing only a trouser. She slowly went to him and hugged him from behind. The contact of their skin made her shiver. It made her feel good. On the contrary Arjun was having a very hard time keeping his hands off her. Sakshi snuggled closer to him and closed her eyes.

Tomorrow they will go back to Mumbai. Last seven days flew in wings of birds. The time they spend was just pure bliss to Sakshi. She was thankful to her Rab ji. Finally she came out from the fear of Parth and now ready to accept Arjun in her life. If she was being honest she fallen in love with Arjun. His caring behavior, his protectiveness and his love gave her new life.
She looked at his sleeping form and smiled.
Arjun: Tum jeet gye Arjun. Tumhara pyar jeet gya. I have fallen in love with you. Baas aaj shamko main apna pyar tumse confess kar dungi.
She got up from bed with firm determination and went to washroom. After finishing her chores she came out wearing a tight denim pants and blue color blouse. She went to kitchen and started making alu paratha for Arjun. She also made chatni and mutton curry. She was about to make tea when Arjun entered the kitchen with half closed eye.
Arjun (groggily): Good morning.
Sakshi: Good morning.
Arjun: Kya khushbu aa raha hai. Kya banya hai?
Sakshi: Alu paratha, mutton curry and pudine ki chatni.
Arjun: Wah wah muh mein pani aa gya. Sunahe patika dil ka rasta petse hokar gujarta hai. Wahi ajma rahi ho?
Sakshi hit his chest with her feast. Instead of flinching Arjun laughed out loud.
Sakshi: jao aur fresh hokar aao.
Arjun saluted her playfully.
Arjun: Jaise aapke marji.
After sometime Arjun came in the dining room wearing a tight denim pants and black t shirt. By then Sakshi arranged food in the table. Together they started eating.
Arjun: To aaj kaha ghumne jana hai? As it's our last day.
Sakshi: Umm. Old Goa chalte hai.
Arjun smiled. He knew the answer before.
Arjun: Tumhe woh jayga itna pasand hai?
Sakshi nodded with enthusiasm.
Arjun: Okay.
After two hour they reached Goa. It had a beauty of its own. Old ruins, buildings, churches as if narrate the history of past. They started wandering through old caves. No words were exchanged. They were just enjoying the warmth of the old stony caves. No one knows how much story it had to tell.
Arjun was very happy. In last seven days he observed Sakshi. He understood that she fallen in love with him but hesitate to confess. He smiled secretly.
Arjun (in mind): Let's see Sakshi. Tum apne pati ke samne kaise apna love confess karte ho.
Then he noticed a drawing in the wall one side. He became very excited. He turned to Sakshi to show her but...
Where was she? There was no one in the cave. Arjun called her several times. He ran one place to another.
Arjun: Sakshi. Kaha ho tum? Dekho agar tum majag kar rahe ho to accha nehi hoga. Sakshi.
After 15 minutes of search when she didn't reply he realized that she was not playing any prank. She was indeed in danger.
