CHAPTER 7:
Next day Arjun and Sakshi took off for Goa. Arjun was driving and Sakshi was sitting beside him. She was very nervous. She was fiddling with her pallu. She was wearing a beautiful skin color kurti with patyala payjama and floral dupatta. Hair tied up a ponytail. Arjun was wearing a v neck purple color t shirt with tight black denim pants. Both were looking killer. Sakshi was hearing some music when it dawned to her that Arjun didn't took the road towards the airport.
Sakshi: Aarjun yeh airport ka rasta to uss taraf hai. Haam idhar kaha ja rahe hai?
Arjun: Haam drive karke jyenge.
Sakshi gulped.
Sakshi: Par yeh to bohot long drive hoga.
Arjun looked at her and smiled.
Arjun: Ha. Haam Pune and Kohlapur hokar jyenge. Beech mein koi hotel dekhkar thoda rest kar lenge.
Sakshi: Kitna waqt lagega?
Arjun: 11/12 hours. I want to spend some quality times with you. Sath sath haam ghum lenge likin sath sath itni lambi journey bohot kam hi hoga. Aur kehte hai ki aise journies pe dilwale ek dusre ke aur kareb aa jate hai.
Sakshi blushed hearing this. She liked the way he said "dilwale ek dusre ke aur kareb aa jate hai" . Isn't that what she wants? She braced herself and took a deep breath.
Sakshi (in mind): Trust me Arjun. Main bhi yehi chahti hoom ki haamare beech ki yeh durya jaldse jald meet jye. Main tumhare sath jindegi mein age badna chahti hoom. Tumhare haat pakad kar jindegi ki ankhri saas taak jeena chahti hoom. Tumhare sath ek family banana chahti hoom. Rabse yehi dua mangti hoom ki main jaldi hi Parth ke khauf se ajad hokar tumhare paas laut saku.
Arjun noticed her lost look.
Arjun (in mind): I hope ki tum dar nehi rahi ho. Sakshi main tumse kitna pyar karta hoom yeh tum nehi jante. Shyed kabhi bata bhi na pavuum. But I promise jindegi ki ankhri saas taak main tumhara sath nibhata avunga. Parchay banke tumhare sath khada rahunga. Tumhe hamesha khush rakhunga.
The scenery was really beautiful. Sakshi was enjoying very much. She opened the window. Breeze came inside and started playing with her hair. She was having hard time to manage her hair but she liked it very much.
Arjun was looking at her time to time. She was so beautiful!!! He felt like fall in love with her all over again.
After long six hour journey Arjun was feeling very tired. He looked at Sakshi. She was clenching and then unclenching her fists. He understood that she started feeling uncomfortable. He noticed one hotel nearby. He parked the car.
Sakshi: Arjun tumne gadi kiyu roki?
Arjun: Itne waqt se baithi ho. Tumhe dekhke laga ki tum uncomfortable feel kar rahi ho. Main bhi thoda tired feel kar raha tha to socha thoda rest kar lete hai.
They got down from the car. Arjun went inside and booked one room. Then he came out and took Sakshi inside. It was a nice and cozy room. Sakshi went to the washroom to freshen up. After sometime she came out and Arjun went inside. After coming out he was about to go outside when Sakshi called him.
Sakshi: Arjun kaha ja rahe ho?
Arjun: Kuch khaneka bandobast karne. Tumhe bhook nehi lagi?
Sakshi: lagi to hai. Par sath mein chalte hai.
Arjun: Nehi. Tumhe takleef hogi. Tum ruko. Mujhe jyada waqt nehi lagega.
Sakshi: Okay. Jaldi ana.
Arjun went out and found a restaurant. He ordered some food and told them to give it on parcel.
Sakshi started watching TV as she was getting bore. It was playing a beautiful romantic song.

Sakshi felt her heart wrenching hearing this song. Arjun also waited two long years for her. He truly loved her. That's why he stayed behind just to give her the support she needed. She smiled a sad smile. And she was so caught up in her past that the she couldn't see what was in front of her. She couldn't see the love in his eyes. She couldn't hear the yearning in his voice. She took deep breath in order to calm herself. She was lying in the bed. After taking some deep breath she was about to get up when the door opened.
Arjun came back with food and trying on Sakshi's phone but it was unreachable. He cursed under his breath.
Arjun: Yeh Sakshi phone kiyu nehi utha rahi?
He ran towards the lobby but the elevator was not working. Can the day get worse? He took the stairs and took three at one. Finally when he reached his room he was panting hard. He quickly opened the door.
There lying Sakshi on her tummy watching him with a weird expression on her face. He sighed in relief.
Sakshi slowly got up and went to him. He was still panting. She closed the door and took the packed from his hand. She made him seat in the bed.
Sakshi: Kya bat hai Arjun? Tum itna pareshan kiyu lag rahi ho?
Arjun: Tumhare phone ko kya hua?
Sakshi: Mera phone? Woh aaj subah bathtub mein gir gya tha. Tabse disturb kar raha hai. Time nikla ja raha tha isslye maine tumhe batya nehi.
Arjun: Tumhe andaja bhi hai ki main kitna pareshan ho gya tha? Pata nehi kitne bure khayale arahe hai the dimag mein.
Sakshi hold her ears.
Sakshi: Sorry Arjun. Agese aisa nehi hoga. Promise.
Arjun nodded but he was still very stiff. Sakshi sighed and hugged him tight. Arjun hugged her back. Sakshi slowly patted his back in order to calm him. It worked. After sometime he relaxed. Then they parted. They finished eating and resumed their journey.
It was mid night when they reached their destination Goa. Arjun had already arranged a room in a renowned rest house. They checked in and took their luggage in the room. Both of them were so tired that they didn't have ounce energy left. They quickly changed their dress and hit the pillow. But they couldn't sleep that instance. Unknown to them both were thinking about each other. Their life and their future. Though Sakshi was very afraid but after reaching Goa her fear started decreasing. Arjun's gentle and protective behavior gave her hope and courage. She was confused at her own behavior. Arjun was right. Long journey always bring two lovers closer. Today Sakshi's behavior gave Arjun hope. He sensed a little hesitant but an acceptance in her. Soon she will accept his love and will love him back with same passion. With that hope they both drifted back to sleep.
