CHAPTER 4:

After one hour they reached the crime spot. A girl aged 27 had been murdered in her house. It was a one story bungalow. A big iron gate. A narrow street led to the main building. Abandoned garden on the both side of the street. They went inside. The body of the victim was still in place. Her name was Raima. Police were waiting for them. The girl was still wearing her night dress. Liza sat beside the body and started examining when the rest of the team started searching for clues. She had been shot in her head. Sakshi was going to another room when her eyes caught a girl. The girl whose dead body they just saw. She was still wearing her nigh dress. She was moving here and there. She first went to Arjun.

Raima: Sunye na please. Main kabse iss inspector ko keh rahi hoom ki mujhe kuch jaroori bat karni hai par yeh meri bat sunn nehi rahe. Muhje mere pati ke khelaaf complain likhwani hai. Ussne mujhpe goli chalai. Woh bhi do bar.

Arjun didn't reply. He stayed where he was. The girl frowned. She went to Liza. But Liza also ignored her. That girl went to every person but they ignored her. Then her eyes caught Sakshi. Sakshi moved into another room fast. The girl went behind her.

Raima: Sunye. Yeh sab kya ho raha hai? Koi meri taraf dekh bhi nehi raha.

Sakshi: Kiyu ki tum mar chuki ho. Wohlog tumhe dekh nehi sakte.

Raima stared at her with wide eyes. Horror was creeping up in her eyes.

Raima: Tum jhoot bol rahi ho. Main mari nehi hoom. Agar mar jati to tum mujhse bat kaise kar rahi ho?

Sakshi: Yeh meri power hai. I am a shadow walker. Main mare hue logoko dekh sakhti hoom. Unse bat kar sakti hoom. Main zinda ke sath sath mare hue logoke dunia mein bhi chal sakti hoom.

Raima: Tum pagal ho chuki ho. Kya behki behki bate kar rahe ho.

Sakshi: Main sach keh rahi hoom.

She was about to say more when a voice boomed from the door.

Voice: Miss Anand kripya aap hame batyenge ki aap kisse bat kar rahi hai?

Sakshi jumped from her place. It was Arjun. He entered the room with steady step. He checked the room once.

Arjun: Yaha to koi bhi nehi hai. Kisse bat kar rahi thi?

Raima: Woh mujhse bat kar rahi thi.

Sakshi: Woh kisi se bhi nehi.

Sakshi spare one last glance at Raima and then went out of the room. Arjun looked here and there. She tried her best to talk with him but no use. Sakshi was feeling bad for that girl.

Eventually the work in the crime spot ended and they went back to the office. Whole day they tried their best to find a single clue but didn't succeed.

It was late night so Sameer told them to go home. As they were very tired the sound of home fall like honey in their ear. Everybody went home except Arjun and Sakshi. Arjun had some work left. And Sakshi. Something different was cooking in her mind.

Finishing his work when Arjun he noticed Sakshi sitting in her desk thinking something. Before he could go to her she stood up and went out. Arjun followed her. She took a auto. Arjun was quite close to her so he heard the address.

Arjun: Yeh itni ratko crime spot kiyu ja rahi hai? Aisa kya kam aa sakta hai?

Arjun sat on his SUV and followed her. Sakshi was trying to concentrate. But she failed. Auto left her in the spot and went away. Arjun stopped his car in a distance and got down.

Sakshi looked here and there and stood before the locked door. She scratched her head.

Sakshi: Aab kya karom? Dwarja locked ho sakta hai yeh to mere dimag mein aya hi nehi.

She checked her watch.

Sakshi: 11: 30. Bara bajne mein sirf adha ghanta baki hai. Mujhe jald se jald apna kam khatam karke yaha se jana hoga.

Raima appeared beside her.

Raima: Bara baje kya hoga?

Sakshi jumped at her place. Sha placed her palm on her thudding heart.

Sakshi: Tumne to mujhe dara hi dia.

Raima: Are wah. Shadow walker ko bhootse dar lagta hai?

Sakshi: Nnehi nehi. Woh tum achanak samne aa gyi to main dar gyi. Bahar kya kar rahi ho? Chalo andar chalo. Kisine tumhe dekh lya to musibat ho jyegi.

Raima: But koi mujhe kaise dekhega? Subah itni koushish ki but tumhare siwah kisi aur ne mujhe nehi dekha.

Sakshi: Bada bajne wale hai. 12 am ek aisa time hota hai jab dono dunya ke bech ka parda hath jata hai. Woh ek bohoti najuk waqt hai. Uss waqt koi bhi insan uss dunya ko dekh sakte hai. Jaise jaise bada bajne lagta hai yeh parda patla hone lagta hai. Aur aaj hi tumhara death hua hai. Isslye tumhara presence iss dunya mein bohot strong hai.

Raima: Hmm. Samjhi. Pr tum yaha wapas kiyu ayi?

Sakshi: Tumahri madad karne.

Raima stared at her for some time. Then spoke up slowly.

Raima: Tum yaha itne rat ko sirf mere lye ayi ho?

Sakshi: Of course. To aur kiyu avungi?

Raima for the first time smiled.

Raima: Thanks.

Sakshi: For what?

Raima: For everything.

Sakshi smiled.

Sakshi: Aab chalo bhi andar.

They opened the door and went inside.

Arjun was in the bush hearing everything. He didn't understand how to react. She is a star just like him and Sameer. He heard a lot about shadow walkers. They are called the mystery of the earth. But is she the same girl who was supposed to come in their life?

No. he can't reach any assumption just like that. He will have to dig out more about her.

Arjun: Miss Sakshi Anand. Tumhara uaha aneki maqsat kya hai? Ya phir tum sacche dilse sabki madad karna chahte ho. Main pata lagake rahunga.
