CHAPTER 22:

Realizing what he said Sameer cleared his throat.

Sameer: I mean baitho na. Abhi to koi kaam bhi nehi hai..(in mind)..Yeh mujhe ho kya raha hai? Maine aisa kiyu kaha?

Aisha sat in the chair opposite to him.

Aisha (in mind): Kiyu apne dil ki baat nehi sunte aap?..(voiced) Actually sir you know..

Sameer: Aisha. Main Sakshi ko lekar bohot pareshan hoom. Tumne dekhi usski halat. Mamisa ke jane ke baad woh bohot toot gyi hai.

Sameer didn't know why he was saying this things to Aisha. But it felt good. On the other hand Aisha was very shocked. At the same time she was happy too.

Aisha: Me too sir. I mean na woh kisiki baat sunti hai na kisi bhi chiz pe react karti ha.

Sameer: Hmm. But bharosa to sirf iss bat ka hai ki Rawte usske sath hai.

Aisha became shocked.

Aisha: Arjun sir? But Arjun sir to Pune wapas chale gye the.

Sameer: Nehi. Woh aab Rawte ke sath hi hai. I mean kuch din pehle unhone shadi karli. I mean family se hi shadi hua hai. I mean... Damn it!!!!

Aisha: Sir aap bhi ajeeb insan hai. Behen ki shadi ki news bhi damn it ke sath dete hai.

Sameer looked at her with puppy face while Aisha laughed. Sameer was seeing Aisha laughing like this for the first time. He kept staring at her forgetting everything. Noticing his gaze on her Aisha stopped laughing and blushed. Sameer stared at her with awe. She looks so lovely while blush. She couldn't bear his heated gaze anymore. She called her in a soft voice.

Aisha: Sir..

Sameer: Ha!!

He mentally smacked himself for loosing control like this.

Sameer: Sorry. Woh main kya keh raha tha?

Aisha hid her smile.

Aisha: Arjun sir aur Sakshi ke shadi ke bare mein.

Sameer: Ha woh yeh shadi bohot secretively hui hai. As you know ki bahar ki dunya yehi janti hai ki Sakshi ki maut ho chuki hai. Bohot kam logo ko hi usski jinda hone ke khabar hai.

Aisha cut him in the middle.

Aisha: But sir hame to bata hi sakte the.

Sameer: No Aisha. Iss office pe na jane unlogone kitne logo ko apne taraf kar lya hai. Paisose aur dara dhamka kar.

Aisha: Kinlogone sir?

Sameer: Mujhe bhi nehi pata. Aab meri baat dhyan se suno. Kaal mein out of town ja raha hoom. Pata nehi kab wapas avunga. Iss office ki jimmedari tumhari. Tum sab kuch khyal rakhoge aur kuch bhi tumhe out of place lage mujhe inform karoge. Bat chahe kitna chota hi kiyu na ho. Okay?

Aisha was taken aback by his sudden demand.

Aisha: But sir Aryan will be here.

Sameer: But I need you take care of things. For me. In this matter I only trust you.

Ariyan was sitting in his cabin. He was trying to concentrate in files but failed. The hollow face of Sakshi was coming in his mind tme to time. On top of that Arjun's possesive behaviour towards Sakshi.

Ariyan: Arjun sir se main pehli baar mila. But mujhe aisa kiyu lag raha tha ki main unse pehle bhi mil chuka hoom. Kuch to gadbad jaror hai. Uparse yeh Sakshi kya unki apni property hai? Hamesha Sakshi ke as pas ghumta rehta hai. Koi bat nehi. Ane do Sakshi ko wapas. Mai usse propose karunga aur usse shadi kar lunga. Phir main Sakshi ko usske as pas bhi nehi jane dunga.

He decided with strong determination.

Piyali was sitting in her bed with mobile phone in hand.

Piyali: Yeh Arjun phone kiyu nehi utha raha? Itna kya busy ho gya uss Sakshi mein? C'mon Arjun pick up the phone.

Again it ringed and ringed but he didn't pick up. Piyali slammed her mobile in the bed in anger.

Piyali: Bohot ho gya. Iss bar ane do usse. Main jhatse propose kar dunga aur ham shadi kar lenge. Sakshi Anand tum mujhse mere Arjun ko kabhi nehi chen paoge. Kabhi nehi.

Sakshi and Arjun were sitting in terrace watching the moon. It was full moon. The moon was glowing brightly with her full glory. Arjun looked at Sakshi. She was wearing a sky blue sare with no jwelery just mangalsutra. She was looking so beautiful that it took away Arjun's senses. She was gazing the moon with grave intensity.

Arjun: Kay bat hai Sakshi? Mujhse istarah se najre kiyu chura rahi ho?

Sakshi blushed. Indeed she was stealing her glances. Arjun was looking at her so passionately that she couldn't bear it.

Arjun nudged her with his elbow.

Sakshi: Nnehi to. Woh woh..

Arjun smiled. He slowly caressed her cheek.

Arjun: Kya bat hai? Meri publicist ki bolti kiyu bandh ho gyi?

Sakshi snuggler closer to him and put her head in his chest. Arjun's hand around her shoulder.

Arjun argued her to talk.

Arjun: Kya bat hai Sakshi? Bolona?

Sakshi: Kya bat ha ACP sahab? Pehle to meri batose apko problem hoti thi. Aaj mujhe hi bolneko keh rahe hai?

Arjun's grip tightened in her shoulder.

Arjun: Kya karo? Aab to hamara rishta bhi badal gya hai. Aur kya hai na ajkal tumhare bak bak sune bena nend nehi ata.

Sakshi laughed out loud hearing this.

Sakshi: Not bad ACP sahib. Aab chalye. Bohot ho gya chand pe ghumna. Mujhe bohot nend aa rahi hai.

Arun raised his eye brow.

Arjun: Tumhe nend aa rahi hai? But sleep is the last thing in my mind now.

Sakshi blushed understanding his meaning. Arjun chinned her up and looked directly at her eyes.

Arjun: I love you Sakshi. Don't know how don't know when you became my life force Sakshi. If anything happens to you I will die.

Sakshi hugged him tightly. Arjun hugged her back.

Sakshi: Arjun yeh tumhe bar bar kya ho jata hai? Kiyu aise behke behke bate karte ho?

Arjun loosened his hold and got up taking Sakshi with him. He scooped her up in his arms. Sakshi was taken aback with his behavior. She knew something was bugging him for sure. He took her to the bedroom. He soon freed himself and Sakshi from all the barrier and made love passionately like there was no tomorrow.

Sakshi woke up early in the morning. Arjun was still seeping. He looks peaceful like a newborn baby. All the lines of worry just vanished. She slowly caressed his face. Arjun stirred a little but didn't wake up. She went to washroom. Finishing her morning chores she came out. She was wearing a green leaf colored salwar kamiz. She didn't bother to comb her hair. Wearing only sindoor and mangalsutra she went to kitchen to make breakfast just when the doorbell rang. She went to the door and opened it. A guy age around 26 standing there. He was wearing a gray color polo shirt with blue denim pants. The thing amaze her most was his childlike grin. Seeing her he spoke up.

Guy: Namaste bhabi. Aap mujhe nehi pehchanenge. I am Rafi. Mohammad Rafi. I am Arjun's friend. To aap kaisi hai? Thik thak? Arjun kaisa hai? Thik hai na? Yaha pe sab normal to hai na? Jab yaha sab thik hi hai to kya main aab andar aa javuum? Aur mujhe na bohot bhook bhi lagi hai. Kuch khaneko milega?
