OS: Romeo and Juliet ~ Part 2

Amidst drinking the Aquila shots I felt someone staring at my back and it felt weird as someone was seeing right through me. I tried to ignore it and enjoy the shots but it just kept making me feel uncomfortable so I decided to turn back and see who it is.

And I couldn't have been more surprised...it was him.

Now what was I supposed to do? I had succeeded in avoiding him for so long and now he is there again. Just how in the world are you supposed to avoid the most handsome man present in the party right now? Wearing that three-piece suit that too black just adds to his sexiness. Even wearing that mask I can tell that it is him.

Sigh

He just makes it harder and harder for me to get over him. I don't want to but I know if I tell him how I feel he will start hurting inside and I can't do that to him. Not after what he has lost. Not after he has gone through heartbreak. I want to tell him that I know how it feels. I know how it feels when you lose someone you love but I can't. I just can't.

I could feel my eyes getting wet beneath the mask and quickly turned away before he noticed. I wiped tears hurriedly as I saw Ayesha approaching.

"Riya...yahan aise khade khade kya kar rahi ho? Chalo, let's go dance. It's about to start."

"No Ayesha. I am not in the mood yaar. You go and enjoy with Rathore sir," I nudged her lightly.

"What do you mean enjoy? Huh?"

"By enjoy I mean have fun woman. Aise mauke baar baar nahi ata. Go!"

"Fine. But thoda apni dimple smile de de warna log sochenge ko to devdaas ban kar ghum rahi hai"

I laughed at that, "Ok meri ma! HERE you go," and I smiled wide, "Now go!!"

"That's like my girl" and she went away.

Suddenly it seemed like the crowd had increased where I was standing. Weird!

Oh stupid me I realized that I was standing in the middle of the dance floor. Wow Riya! So much for being invisible. As I was moving away I felt a hand grip my wrist. Ab ye kaun Besharam agaya I thought but as I turned to look at the owner of the hand I was left speechless.

It was him.

Oho Riya! Ab him him karna band kar. He has a name you know! Arjun.

Yes she was in love with the great ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte. (Like we didn't already know that 😉😆)

It felt like everything had just frozen and time stood still as he ventured close to me and held my hand. He put his arms around my waist and my hands on his shoulders. It felt like a scene right out of a movie.

Riya filmy hona band kar. This is reality! Wakey wakey rise and shine darling!

Shutup! I know this is reality. I am just confused about why this is happening.

"Si...r...rrr...what are you doing?"

"Shhh Riya. We are in the middle of a dance floor so don't create any scene here."

That angered me! I create scenes! Look who's talking.

"Excuse me sir. I don't create scenes. I am not an actress neither am I a scriptwriter. So you better watch your words."

"Oh good God! Mein iss ladki ka kya karoon. Riya just keep your mouth shut for 5 mins will you?!"

Before I could say anything further the music started playing and I had to stop myself!

And we started moving...His eyes held me into an intense trance. He had so much effect on me that I couldn't look away!

And he lifted me up in the air and it felt like everything disappeared around and us. We were the only two in the room.

And the funny part was the lines fit perfectly to what I was feeling. I couldn't help but dwell on that.

And for a moment I could see the same turmoil inside his eyes as well. I didn't know if he felt what I felt but I saw it in his eyes.

Wasn't that true! I had every joy at my feet yet it felt as if something was amiss.

He twirled me around and brought me close again.

Yup I had found my reason to live. Even if he didn't accept my love I could still survive just by looking at him. God! I love him so much!

If I could just run into his arms and stay there forever...I wouldn't ask for anything else because I would have gotten my whole life. I was snapped out of the trance as he did a final lift and twirled me again.

As the song ended we both were breathing heavily. And I realized how close we were. So close that even air couldn't pass through us. I didn't want this moment to end but as the audience burst into a loud applauds for all the dancers he let me go.

Surprisingly! I blushed...I Riya Mukherjee blushed in front of all those people! And I think he noticed too! Oh god! Kill me now!

I quickly ran away from there to the one savior spot I had in this party. The bar! I think I need more Aquila shots! Booze always helps even though this is fake but who cares. Let's pretend it's real today!

As I ordered Aquila shots I noticed Ayesha and Shreedevi approaching me again. Oh God! Did they see that too? Please tell me I am dreaming.

"Shree tujhe nahi lagta aaj barish hone wali hai?"

"Haan Ayesha mujhe bhi yahi lagta hai. Bahar to waise bhi tufaani hawai chal rahi hai aur yahan ka bhi kuch similar haal hai nahi?"

"Sahi kaha. I think aaj kuch kuch hota hai ka sequel ban hi jayega what do you think?"

"Hailaa! Sach mein...phir to hamein mufat mein dekhne ko mil jayega! But ek problem hai bina popcorn ke maza kahan ayega?"

I blushed harder! Oh God! I couldn't take this anymore.

"Shut up Shreedevi!"

"Mujhe kyun shutup keh rahi ho, I saw what happened on the dance floor Ri! And I have it recorded on my phone! Muhahaha" He was smiling his evil smile! That Shreedevi I tell you. Khabhi mauka nahi chodta mujhe tease karne ka!

"Shree mein tera khoon pee jaongi mujhe wo mobile de!"

"No!"

"Shree I said give!"

"No, No and No!" saying that he ran from there with the mobile on his hand.

Ayesha stood there giggling. "Ab tum kyun has rahi ho? Sach mein kisne ne sahi kaha hai Har ek friend kamina hota hai'"

Saying that I ran behind Shree as I heard Ayesha saying, "Good Luck!"
