But whatever she did was surely not right. And now she want to be with her husband, I wonder if she even deserves him. As a proverb says: "First deserve then desire".

Sakshi: She accepted Arjun with his past, & also accepted his love for Riya. She is selfless lover. She just expect some love from Arjun in their yet undefined relationship. I doubt that she will ever get it. Poor girl, She doesn't know she is crying for the moon.

you have defined every Character brilliantly. They are in complicated situating, Where everyone is at Lost-lost situation either way. Even if Arjun choose anyone, problem will not be solve. If we say that Riya doesn't deserve Arjun then Arjun doesn't deserve Sakshi either. So I am not expecting any result by Who-deserves-who. They all are human, and two of them did mistakes that led these three to this terrible situation.

All the character's emotions are very well written, though I didn't read every update but I can say it because of the comments😆

PS. I don't care, Whom Arjun choose, And I will never ask you for any couple in particular. Coz I trust you & your writing skills.😊

Coming to the update:

Riya's state was written very well. She still had hopes but poor girl just got disapointment.
But I personally sympathize more with Sakshi, She finally know the truth but the distrubing part was that she didn't came to know about it by Arjun. She must be feeling betrayed. & she has every right to feel like that.

I hated Arjun in today's update. He must have taken any step to prevent this situation. I know he is confused but he can not keep on playing with Riya's & sakshi's emotions.
If he stopped Riya from gng away then he should at least have informed Sakshi about it.

Ayesha-Rathod scene was really cute & funny. it was mood lightener part in otherwise Dukhi update.Loved it😆

PS. I just realize my comment is bigger than my updates😆

finally after 18 chapters a long update from you...😃😳😳😳😳

well ill just prefer you to read all the parts...and the character sketch too 😆😆

Chapter 19

Sakshi came back to her senses when the mass applauded and light filled the whole area.She released herself from Arjun and quickly wiped her tears.She looked at him with a smile and walked away quickly,hiding her face in embarrasement and also to hide her tears.She left the party and went to look for a cab.

She tried to stop a few cabs but failed.She didnt want to wait any longer and started walking ahead.It was dark and cloudy.A few spills of rain had already fallen weting the ground at places but heavy shower wont take much time now.The cool breeze and thunders at times indicated that.

She clutched onto the pleads of her saree and walked with quick steps,occasionally looking back to stop a cab on the way.She wasnt quite fortunate tonight coz a heavy storm started filling the place full of dust and she had to stop in her steps.There wasnt any place at the sides to take shelter so she stood under a tree waiting for the storm to slow down.

The storm kept on increasing bringing with it heavy rain.The heavy rain made her saree wet and it stuck with her,revealing her curves.But she wasnt at all interested in all these.She was just hiding herself.Hiding herself from the storm that had misted her mind and scarred her soul.

She was trying to convince herself that the person she had fallen for was still hers and didnt run down to his earlier heartless self.She knew he loved his wife a lot.At times when he took her name in between their talks,it would bring a happy smile but then the next moment it would bring back the pain in his eyes and he would leave away to spent his time alone.

She never asked him nor did he ever speak about his past life with riya,their marriage and then their divorce.All she knew was his wife chose her career before him and he made a grave mistake to love her even after that.So she was quite contended with her life with arjun,who was eventually her first love.She had never thought of an instance when Arjun could leave her and get back to his earlier life after the intimate times they had shared together.

But one look at Riya today and she knew,whatever he said and done could be erased once riya looks back at him.The way he looked at her with the tear stricken pain in her eyes,had spoken volumes.Then the close dance which had brought the burning desires back into flame and made her burn with it also.

She couldnt take it anymore and started walking amist the rain,making the water fall on her face to wash out the hurt and tears from her eyes.After a long walk she finally could get a cab and rushed back home.

Arjun saw sakshi leave his arms and rush out of the party hall.He could feel his shirt wet and could understand she was hurt.He followed her towards the exit door but again sheen stopped him and pulled him towards riya,who was standing beside Sameer after the end dance with him,looking around not taking the chance to look into his hurt eyes.

He tried to protest posing some hurried business but sheen was not one to take such rubbish soon.She had loads of plans of teasing the couple and since both were at hand she wouldnt leave the chance.Arjun walked to riya and stood with the others when sheen asked him to wrap his arm around her shoulder while she takes a picture as the memory of the anniversary party.

Reluctantly he did and the picture was taken and appreciated as the perfect couple.Sameer and ayesha came next posing for their picture perfect moment and then a group picture with everyone around.Everything done,dinner finished and still arjun was looking for a chance to leave.Since it was raining and riya wasnt too well, sameer asked him to take her home while sameer went to drop ayesha at her house.

Riya did protest knowing about Arjun's concern for sakshi but sameer was too adamant on his decision and ayesha too supported him in this.Arjun glared at them but couldnt deny.He quickly moved out and dropped riya home.Riya walked out of the car and went inside but
Arjun remained inside.Riya knew the reason and also his next destination but didnt probe him anymore.She didnt have the right nor the wish to hold him back anymore.

Arjun didnt miss the disappointed look in riya's eyes but what troubled him more was the lost look in sakshi's.Once riya walked inside the house he drove out again towards sakshi's home.

Sakshi stepped out of the shower in some comfortable home clothes.The shower did cool her senses and removed the tiredness but the worry and hurt in her heart still remained.Her heart was beating fast everytime she thought of Riya in Arjun's arm.She took the towel and started drying her wet hair in the hope to keep herself away from the roaming thoughts,but according to its nature it kept coming back.

She had not taken dinner and she wasnt hungry too.She walked over to the kitchen tying her hair in the towel and made herself a cup of steaming coffee.It was still raining heavily outside.She sipped the coffee and walked to the attached balcony.Keeping herself under the shed she looked ahead in the shadowy darkness.The streetlights were off due to the rain and not a soul was present on the empty road.

She sat down on a chair sipping her coffee and lost in the thoughts of her sudden shattered dreams when she saw a light at a distance.It was a car coming towards her house.She tried to concentrate and found the car stop under her house.A tall man sprinted out and walked in hurriedly avoiding the rain.By the features she could guess it was Arjun.

She wasnt wrong as within minutes the bell rang and she rushed down to open the door.He was wet due to the heavy shower and came in rubbing the drops on his face.

'Arjun tum itni barish mein?kya hua?'sakshi asked him,forgetting everything else,

'sakshi mujhe tumse baat karna hai,'he replied,walking inside looking at her,

'arjun tum pure bheeg gaye ho,pehele jao change karlo,tumhare kuch kapre yahi hai,'she again spoke up keeping the coffee mug on the table and getting a towel for him,

'sakshi we need to talk right now,'arjun shouted at her,holding her shoulders,

'yes we need to talk arjun but pehele change kar lo,tabiyaat kharab ho jayegi,'she said calmly handing him the towel,

Arjun calmed down looking at her thoughtful eyes and took the towel.He walked to the washroom while Sakshi took out the clothes for him.

Sakshi kept the tray with another cup of tea on the dining table and sat down on the chair to enjoy her own coffee.She hadnt expected arjun to come and meet her tonight so when he did come it brought back the lost hope to her.

Arjun came down in a tshirt and jeans which he had once left there when he wasnt well and sakshi forced him to stay with her for a couple of days.Everything in the house was the same but there was an awkwardness which disturbed him.Earlier this house had given him the peace and calmness which his own home couldnt give.

Arjun had met sakshi about 4 months after they divorced and riya had left ETF to work in an important undercover mission.Sakshi was a spoilt and over pampered person when she joined ETF.

He wasnt unknown to her attraction to him from the very first day but always ignored and kept himself aloof.His glares did work when sakshi stopped her unwanted provoking and normally kept quite within herself.But his ignorance,his arrogance and his ruthlessness nature nothing worked on the day when during a case he had to face a similar situation as his own life.

The husband had killed his wife out of completely disgust when the wife conducted an abortion to avoid any hindrance in her participation at a beauty peagent.Quite unexpected to everyone,even sameer,Arjun had sympathised with the murderer, though he was the one who conneted the dots and identified the culprit.Later sameer had found him sitting in his cabin alone with his head on the table and his right palm fisted.

Sameer had wanted to talk to him about his sudden change in behaivoiur with a murderer but ayesha had prevented him.Later Sakshi had gone inside to give his midnight tea before leaving for home only to find a broken arjun sitting on the floor crying. Even after all the glares,the sarcastic comments and long lectures and arrogance from him sakshi had come to hold onto him.

That night seemed an end to his broken,shattered and lonely life.Sakshi always knew where to find him when he fought with sameer and walked away,or when to sympathise and when to just be by him as a support.He never had to speak to her about his grief,her nonsense chatter always kept him away from the haunting memories and thus he ended up,staying with her.

His thoughts were broken by sakshi when she held his arm and he blinked his eyes to stop the thoughts to roam about further.He tried to smile when she forwarded the cup of tea but failed.There wasnt anything pleasant in his life to make him smile now.He took the cup and sat down.A thunder bolt broke with a loud sound and sakshi fliched with it holding onto his shoulder.

He held her palm on his shoulder and made her sit beside him on the chair.He kept the cup aside and held onto her hands.He breath in and looked up at her with apologetic gaze.

'sakshi tum jaisa soch rahi ho,waisa...mein tumhe sab kuch..'his voice chocked and he stopped.He looked at sakshi but her face was blank.He could understand her inner impatience and turmoil but he was afraid of her reaction to the truth.But he had to speak up.He started, clutching onto her palms tightly.

'Sakshi,Riya is my wife,i know u already know per please mujhe pehele kehene do.Haan mein hi usse apne ghar le aya tha,kuch din pehele,'he stopped and waited for questions from sakshi but she was sitting quite looking straight at him,he continued,

'hum khush the sakshi.We loved each other.We had never thought anything could come inbetween us.But our own insecurities,our own egos stood against us.Yes i wanted to bind her to me and she wanted wings.That was out fault.None of us ever realised that we couldnt force anything to happen.

I forced her to stay with me in the fear of losing her like i lost my family and happiness earlier.She misunderstood me and thought I am getting obssesed about her.She wanted to prove herself to everyone.The allegations her father had put her through wasnt right and she wanted to prove her capability.She wasnt wrong in that.Trust me sakshi,i never doubted her capabilites,i was just afraid to lose her.

She proved herself but only after losing everything.So did I.I couldnt keep her with me forcefully and lost her and our love,our unborn child.I failed my child sakshi.I couldnt even save her.

Sakshi,our child sacrificed her life for her parent's wishes.'he stopped holding his head in his palms,crying.

Sakshi held his hands and walked close to him.He held onto her waist and cried on her chest,sakshi embracing him tight. After a long time she felt his hold lossen and she released him.He ran his fingers in his hair and signed.

Sakshi kneeled in front of him with a glass of water and cupped his face,affectionately looking into his eyes.

'Arjun mujhe ye sab...'she was stopped with his finger on her lips,

'mujhe khene do sakshi.Kabhi kisi se nehi kaha,aj kehene do.We just loved each other sakshi,but we never understood each other,we never respected each other.We cared but that wasnt selfless.We never compromised for anything sakshi.A marriage cannot just last on a bed of love,it needs much more than that and we couldnt give that extra bite to our sacred bond.We lost ourselves.

I was so broken after her decision of going undercover and aborting our child for that,that i couldnt forgive her.No it isnt that i didnt try.I tried sakshi.Her absence in my life when she was away in the mission did affect me and i had thought to forgive her for all the mistakes but i couldnt.Everytime I tried to confront her,the helpless thought of failing for my child's safety adorned me.

I couldnt sakshi...'arjun banged the glass of water on the ground breaking it,surprising sakshi,who jumped up.

But the broken arjun that followed was beyond any repair.Arjun slid on the ground holding on his head.

Sakshi held Arjun and made him sit on the chair.The glass pieces lay scattered.She bend down to take the pieces away from his feet but he held her,

'I couldnt forgive her sakshi because she was happy of her achievements,coz she was happy about whatever she had decided for her life and my child's life.Her eyes,her gestures,she never showed any tinch of guilt for the loss she had incurred,or maybe it wasnt a loss for her.
But I couldnt forgive.'

Sakshi cupped his face trying to control him,but his painful state was making her helpless.He looked up at her with tears.She hugged him,rubbing his back to smooth his pain.But he couldnt calm down.He burst into peals of cry holding onto her.
