I know that I am probably the last person who should be posting this because compared to the ardent fans I am but one viewer who was there initially and then left as the show dwindled out of story. But personally I think in the last episode the makers did justice and gave a nice closure.
Arjun was equally about intriguing cases as well as about his unrelenting need to give justice to Roshni. We saw Sameer lashing out at Arjun in the mandir scene. Sameer was refusing to understand Arjun. Though his appearance now will give nothing to us viewers it does make sense. Staying away has made Sameer realise what Arjun has and is going through. He compiles data about Sikander and also pledges his companionship with Arjun. A way of apology from his part.
Arjun accepting his offer is his way of respecting Rathod and gaining back their friendship.
All in all I think that was the one scene that was best in the epi. Also it's a closure with a possibility of another opening if the makers have guts enough or maybe chance enough to bring another season.
