CHAPTER 7:

As Sakshi and Arjun came down Maharani Padmabati welcome them. Sameer and Aisha were already present there. They strated eating. They all noticed that Maharani has dark circles under her eyes. Her eyes were tired as if she didn't sleep whole night. After a little chit chat Maharani Padmabati excused herself and went to her office. Kadambini and Raghu were still there.

Kadambini: Toh aaj aplogo ka plan kya hai?

Sameer: Main Sunita ko lekar aas paas survey ke lya javuunga.

Arjun: Aur main Nimrit ke saath thoda ghumne niklunga.

Kadambini nodded.

Kadambini: Aap log yaha nyi aye hai toh koi guard..

Arjun snapped her short.

Arjun: Usski koi jaroorat nehi hai. Haam chale jyenge. And main apni biwi ke saath kuch akele waqt bitana chahta hoom.

Aisha chocked back a laugh. Sameer snorted.

Sakshi gritted her teeth.

Sakshi: Vijay vai aapki problem koi hai kya?

Sameer: Nehi nehi mujhe kiyu problem hogi.

Saying that Sameer grinned evilly..

After sometime Sameer and Aisha went out for survey and Arjun and Sakshi went out to sight seeing.

Arjun was driving the car and Sakshi was sitting beside him quitely.

Arjun: Kya baat hai Sakshi itni chup kiyu ho? Kya soch rahi ho?

Sakshi: Kuch nehi.

She looked at him. He was looking so calm. She didn't want to ruin it.

Arjun: Batao kaha jana chahti ho?

Sakshi thought for a while then hesitently spoke up.

Sakshi: North bordar ke paas ek jyga hai. Waha.

Arjun didn't question further just drive towards the given direction. When they reached there Arjun became suspicious. It was a deserted area. Nobody lives around here.

Arjun looked at Sakshi who was sweating.

Arjun: Sakshi are you sure yehi woh jyga hai.

Sakshi nodded. She started walking towards a direction. Arjun followed her.

After a few yards Arjun noticed a big trer. Under the tree sitting an old man. He was wearing a dhoti and kurta. As they aproached the old man looked up and smiled. Arjun's cop mind said that there is some thing fishy.

Man: Are are dekho koun aya. Bhagwan Shree Krishna ki Saarthi woh bhi mujh jaise mamuli insaan ke darbar mein.

Arjun got a little puzzle. Seeing his puzzled expression Sakshi decided to help a little.

Sakshi: Arjun was the name of one of the Pandav brothers in Mahabharat. In the battle Lord Shree Krishna made him his Saarthi.

Now Arjun understood. Now old man focused on Sakshi.

Man: Intekam ki ghari aa gyi hai. Waqt aa gya hai galat ko sahi karneka. Jo rota hai woh hasega jo hasta hai woh royega woh royega.

Arjun: Aap koun hai?

Man: Saab mujhe Baba kehke bulate hai. Tu bhi mujhe wohi bulana.

Arjun: Ok. But aap yeh kya keh rahe hai mujhe kuch samajh nehi aya.

Baba smiled.

Baba: Jisse samajh na hai woh samajh chuki hai. Agar woh chahti hai to tujhe bhi samjha degi.

Arjun was about to ask more but Sakshi literary dragged him to the car. Half way when turned he saw that the tree and that old man both had vanished. Arjun couldn't understand what just happened.

Once sitting in the car Arjun turned towards Sakshi.

Arjun: Ok. Now tell me what's going on? Who was that man? And how they vanished into thin air?

Sakshi: Sab kuch mujhe bhi nehi pata. Jab main bohot chti thi tab masa kisi Rakshak ke bare me baatati thi. Kehti thi ki jab bhi koi musibat mein faas jao aur koi rasta na mile toh north bordar ke paas bhiraan vumi pe jana. Waha Rakshak rehta hai. Woh tumahri madad karenge.

Sakshi looked up to see if Arjun was following her or not. Arjun nodded. She took deep breath.

Sakshi: Ussdin maine tumlogo ko puri kahani nehi batyi. Jab Kadambini bua ne mujhe rasta dikha ke chali gyi taab main sidha uttar disha ki yor gyi.

FLASHBACK-

Sakshi was running like hell. She will have to find this Rakshak. At any cost. Suddenly she reached a weird place. Her mind was sying this was the place where Rakshak lives. She was wandering while she noticed a big tree and under the tree sitting an old man wearing dhoti and kurta. She ran to him.

Sakshi: Kya aap hi Rakshak hai? Please meri madad kijye.

The old man smiled. He looked up at the sky once then looked at her eyes directly.

Man: Aap ko kya chahye?

Sakshi's eyes flared up.

Sakshi: Badla.

Man: Abhi sahi waqt nehi aya hai Rajkumari ji. Agar jitna hai to sahi waqt ane tak intejar karna padega. Aab aap usss disha pe jye. Do vale insaan apko apne paas rakhenge. Aapko bada karenge. Phir aapko apni saarthi mil jyegi. Jab waqt aye tab wapas aa jana.

Sakshi: Mujhe kaise pata chalega ki sahi waqt kab ayega?

Old man smiled a sad smile.

Man: Jab waqt ayega tab aapko khud pata chal jyega. Aab ap jye.

Sakshi ran towards the given direction and came infron of a car.

FLASHBACK ENDS

Sakshi looked up and saw Arjun looking at her intently.

Sakshi: Tumhe yehi lag raha hai na ki main pagal ho gyi hoom?

Arjun: Nehi Sakshi. Jo apni ankhose dekha usse kaise thukra do? Jab main Hastanapur ke lye rawana hua toh iss jyga ke bade mein thoda bohot research ki. Waha bhi kisi Rakshak ke bade mein likha tha. Kuch detail pe nehi tha just a vague idea. Jarrori nehi ki dunya ke sare raaj hame maloom ho. Iss baat ko bhi aise hi rehne do.

Sakshi nodded.

When they reached home they noticed Sameer and Aisha were sitting in the drawing room with grim expression.

Arjun: Kya baat hai Sam?

Sameer: Liza ka accident ho gya hai. Haam usse leke hospital gye the.

Sakshi: Kya? Aab kaisi hai woh?

Aisha: Aab thodi thik hai. Shree hai usske paas. Arjun sir haam aaplogo ko kuch dikhana chahte hai. Haame lagta hai ki yeh Maharanai smuggling ke saath bhi judi hui hai.

Arjun think for a while then nodded.

Arjun: Sakshi tum waise bhi bohot thak gyi ho. Tum kamre mein jakar aram karo. Main Sam aur Aisha ko lekar ek baar check karke ata hoom.

Sakshi: But Arjun...

Arjun snapped her short.

Arjun: Likin vikin kuch nehi.

Sakshi nodded. They went out while she went to her room to take some rest. While she went to her room she noticed the door was open. But she didn't give it much thought.

It had been one hour but Arjun, Sameer and Aisha didn't came. Then she heard a knock in her room. She thought it was Arjun. After opening the door she saw Maharani Padmabati was standing there..

Note-Dear readers I have just a vague idea about Arjun being Saarthi in the battle. Please forgive me if I put it wrong. You guys are probably wondering who this Rakshak is. Well you will get your answer. Stay tuned...And Oh don't forget to leave comment..

CHAPTER 8:

Seeing Padmabati Sakshi's blood boiled with anger. But she composed herself.

Padmabati: Anirudh ji kaha hai?

Sakshi: Woh Anirudh Vijay vai aur Sunita ke saath thoda bahar gye hai. Kiyu?

Padmabati: Aapko to pata hi hai na ki mera beta aur bahu ek tragic car accident mein maar chuke hai. Marne se pehle meri bahu Komal ek jyga choose ki thi Shiv ji ki mandir banane ke lye. Par usske kuch din baad hi usski death ho gyi aur woh mandir bhi nehi bani. Aaj subha ek client aye the uss jyga ko kharidna chahte hai. Unhe kuch bata ne se pehle maine socha Anirudh ji ko ekbar dikha doom.

Sakshi's mind started whirling. Her mother chose a place for Shiv ji's mandir? Yeah, she knew that her mother was a devotee of Lord Shiva. But could she let that land go in other person's hand? She made up her mind.

Sakshi:Koi baat nehi haam chalte hai aapke saath.

Maharani Padmabati smiled evilly.

Padmabati: Sure.

Padmabati took Sakshi with her. She left all body guards behind and took only driver. Not far from them a man and a woman watching them with worried expression. Seeing Sakshi going with her she panicked. She dailed a number.

Arjun, Aisha and Sameer were on their way when Arjun's phone buzzed. Arjun checked the caller ID and frowned.

Arjun: Kadambini ji!!!!

He picked up the call.

Arjun: Namaste Kadambini ji.

Kadambini: Sakshi musibaat mein hai. Please usse bacha li jye.

Arjun: Aap kya keh rahe hai mujhe kuch samajh nehi aa raha.

Kadambini: Dekhye mujhe nehi pata ki aap koun hai but maine apni Sashi ko pehchan lya hai. Please usski jaan ko khatra hai. Masa usse lekar Kali pahari ki taraf gye hai. Woh usse maar dalenge. Unhe saab paat chal chuka hai.

Arjun: Thik hai.

He cut the call and started tracking Sakshi's cell. In between he told everything to Sameer and Aisha. They tracked her number and towards that direction. When they reached the destination they noticed Maharani's car going back to the Palace. They went out from the car and went to the top of the hill.

Maharani Padmabati ordered the driver to stop the car. She went out from the car and Sakshi did the same. Padmabati ordered the driver to come half an hour later. Driver went away. Sakshi was observing the area. It was the top of the hill. One side stand a small idol of Lord Shiva. She went infront of it and joined her palm. After finishing her prayer she turned around and saw Padmabati standing there with a smirk in her face.

Sakshi: Yehi hai woh jyga?

Padmabati: Beokuuf ladki. Tu bhi bilkul buddhu hi nikli apni ma baap ki tarah. Tujhe kya laga thoda darakar tu Maharani Padmabati ko kabu mein kar legi. Ya phir tujhe yeh laga ki main tujhe pehchan nehi pavuungi. Rajkumari Sakshi Anand.

She became shocked. How could she be so fool. She didn't even think that it could be a trap. She was about to run when Padmabati raise her hand. In her hand was a revolver.

Padmabati: Tujhe kya laga ki main tujhe aise hi jane dungi? Shaq toh mujhe kal rat ko hi ho gya tha. Aaj subah jab maine tera kamra check kya toh mujh woh saree aur pyel bhi mil gyi. Uss Murari ke bacche ne mujhe dhoka dya. Tujhe jinda chod dya. Uss Murari ko to main badme dekh lungi. Pehle tujhe khatam kar du.

Hot tears found it's way down to Sakshi's eyes. She was not afraid to die. She was just sad because she couldn't avenge her parents and brother's death. She couldn't say "I love you" to Arjun. Suddenly she heard a gun shot and the gun fell from Padmabati's hand. She turned around and saw Arjun was standing there with a gun in hand. Sameer and aisha were also with them. She sighed in relief. Her Arjun had come.

Without uttering another word Arjun came to Sakshi and made her hold the gun. Then he raised it to Padmabati. She started going backward. Her eyes were full of fear.

Padmabati: Nehi. Nehi. Aisa nehi ho sakta. Nehi ho sakta aisa.

Sakshi: Tumhare papo ka ghara bhar chuka ahi. Aab iss dunya se jane ke lye tyar ho jao. Tumhe Bhagwn nark mein bhi jyga na de.

Saying that she shoot at her. She emptied the barrel and put all six bullets into Padmabati's body. Padmabati couldn't take the force. She fall from hill.

Sakshi's knees gave away and she sat there. She screamed and started crying calling her Masa, Babasa and her brother Sujay. She cried her heart out. Arjun sat beside her and hugged her tightly. Tears she saved years came out. Sameer and Aisha also got tears in her eyes.

After sometime wiped her eyes out and got up. Arjun also helped her. They all went back to the Palace. In road Arjun told her how he found out her. Raghu and Kadambini was waiting for them. Seeing them Kadambini rushed towards Sakshi and hugged her tightly. After sometime she parted.

Kadambini: I am sorry beta. I am really sorry.

Sakshi: Nehi buasa. Aapne uss waqt mera saath dya jab mujhe bachane wala koi nehi tha.

They told Kadambini about Padmabati. Kadambini told everyone that Padmabati went to kali pahari and slipped from the hill. It was impossible to survive.

It's been two days since they were there. It was time to go back to Mumbai. Arjun was very restless. What if Sakshi decided to stay? They were staying in different rooms. He didn't get any chance to talk with her. He was pacing back and forth when he heard a faint knock.

Arjun: Come in.

Sameer came in.

Sameer: Haam kal wapas ja rahe hai. Kal Liza ko hospital se discharge bhi mil jyegi.

Arjun nodded.

Sameer: Aur phir Sakshi bhi to nehi ja rahi.

This caught Arjun's attention.

Arjun: What?

Sameer hide his smile.

Sameer: Ha. I mean usski ryasat hai. Usse hi to sambhal na hai. Accha aab main chalta hoom.

Saying that he went out from there.

Arjun: Nehi. Woh yaha nehi reh sakti. Main kaise jevuunga usske bina. Nehi. Bohot pyar karti hoom main usse. Mujhe usse abhi baat karna chahye.

He stormed out from his room and went to Sakshi's room.

Sameer was watching this from ta safe distance.

Sameer (in mind): Sorry mere yaar. Maine tujhse jhoot bola. Par kya karti? Tu toh aise waise confess nehi karti na!!

In room Sakshi was preparing for sleep when she heard a faint knock.

Sakshi: Koun?

Arjun: Sakshi main ho. Darwaja kholo.

Sakshi opened the door and Arjun came inside. Arjun locked the door and looked at her. Seeing her his eyes became dark.

Just then she realised that she was wearing a transparent see through nighty. She crossed her arms over her chest and stood there with lower head.

Sakshi: Arjun tum..

Arjun: I love you Sakshi.

Sakshi looked at him with mouth wide open. He chin her up.

Arjun: I am sorry. I am not any prince charming. Mujhe ghuma firake baat karna nehi ata. Mujhe acchese propose bhi karna nehi ata. But..

His words ceased as he saw Sakshi's eyes were full of tears. She hugged her tightly.

Sakshi: Mujhe koi farq nehi padta. Mujhe koi prince charming nehi chahye. Mujhe sirf tum chahye. Surf tum. I love you too.

Arjun hugged her back. He caressed her back. Shiver after shiver ran down through her spine. Arjun parted a little and placed a kiss at her forhead. Sakshi closed her eyes. Then he placed kiss at her both cheeks. At last he claimed her pink soft lips. He started it softly but made it passionate. Sakshi's hand went to his hair. She clutched hir hair when his hands roamed over her body. His hands payed special attention to her upper chest. Sakshi moned under her lips. Arjun scoop her in his arms and placed her in bed. He slid down beside her and placed her head in his chest. He snaked his hand around her waist.

Arjun: Sakshi please wapas chalo. Hamare saath. Mere saath.

Sakshi looked up at his face.

Sakshi: But Arjun main to jahi rahi hoom. Infact maine toh apna saman bhi pack kar lya hai. Phir?

Arjun now understood Sameer's prank. He wasn't angry with him. May be Sameer was right. He needed this push. He looked down at her. She was looking at him with her big doe like eyes. He couldn't help himself. He rubbed his body with hers. He claimed her lips. He taste her. He moved from her lips to her throat. Then her neck. He placed a soft kiss in her neck. Then bite the place. Sakshi moaned in pain and pleasure.

Sakshi: A..R..J..U..N...

Arjun licked the place he bite. Then again went to her lips. After that when they both needed air they parted. Arjun put her head back in his chest. He caressed her hair and her back.

Arjun: Sakshi agar tum wapas ja rahi ho to yeh ryasat kous sambhalega?

Sakshi: Kadambini buasa ka beta Ayushamn araha hai England se. Wahi sambhalega. Yaha ki logo ke najro me main mar chuki hoom. Isse aise hi rehne do.

Arjun: But tumne toh kaha tha ki unke bete mar chuka hai.

Sakshi: Nehi. Kadambini bua ne sabse jhoot bola. Unhe dar tha Dadisa usse bhi maar dega.

Arjun nodded and smiled. He tightened his hold on her. He wasn't letting her go. Not now not ever. She had become his life. His reason of living. She was the reason he learnt to smile again. And he will protect her from all the evil of the world. He will never let her go. After some time they both fall asleep in each other's arms peacefully.
