Chapter 1:

Karan woke up at the sound of someone screaming. He was at party last night and came back at 3 AM . He was dreaming about the party. The sound of a girls screaming came again. Now he got up in bed and rubbed his eyes. He looked at the watch. It's 11:30 AM already. He live in the room beside garage. The sound was coming from the garage. He went there and discovered Simran standing at the table. Angali was busy with laptop and Piyali was reading a magazine. Seeing Karan Saimran sighed in relief.

Karan: Oye Simmy kya hua? Yeh tu table par kiyu khada hai?

Simran: Dekhona Karan kitni badi ek makdi waha khadi hai. Plz usse hathao na.

Karan sighed. He took the small spider in his palm.

Karan: Itni choti si pyarisi makdi se tujhe darr lag raha hai? Angali ko dekh. Ek baar bhi chikhi kya? Itni si baat ke liye tune meri neend kharab kar di yaar.

Angali: Mr. Karan aapki jankari ke liye baata doon mujhe spider se darr nehi laghta.

Karan took the spider outside and left it there. He didn't want to kill it.

When he came inside Simran already climed down from the table.

Simran: Mujhe patha tha ki mere Karan Arjun ayenge mujhe bachane. Jaroor ayenge.

Karan: Oye madam Arjun yaha nehi hai. Sirf Karan hai Karan.

Piyali: Waise Karan aaj 11:30 baaj geye par Arjun abhi taak nehi aya!!

Karan scowled at this. Not that he doesn't like Piyali. She is a nice girl. But inspite of Arjun's indifference behaviour she always tried to break his walls which he build after his wife Roshni's brutal death. Yes, they all knew about his past. Thanks to Angali. She dig out everything from old newspaper. They were very shocked. Though they never asked him about it. Karan sighed. It's been two months they are working together and he knew his shera well. If he doesn't want to open up no person in this world can make him open.

Karan: Patha nehi. Woh mujhe batake nehi jaate.

Seeing the situation turning this way Angali tried to distract them.

Angali: Look. ETF ne ek aur case solve kiya hai. Unsaabki photo bhi chapwya hai.

Angali placed the laptop in angle so that everybody could see it.

Simran: Wow. Yeh ETF wale kitna handsome aur khubsurat hai!! Lagtahi nehi ki policewale hai.

Piyali: Arjun toh inlogo ke saath hi aam karta tha toh ussne ETF choda kiyu?

Angali: ETF choda nehi hai. Baas 6 months ke leave pe hai. Aur leave start hote hi usne haamare school me martial art ke teacher ke post pe join kar liya. Wajah kisi ko bhi nehi patha.

Karan: Bohot hua. Aab Arjun ka lifestory chodo. Agar usse patha chal geya ki haam uske life pe reaserch kar rahe hai toh bohot gussa ho jayega.

Angali: Yeah. Mr. Karan is right. Haame unki niji zindegi mei dakhal nehi dena chahiye.

Karan: Yeah. Aab main bhi chali sone.

Simran: Par itni der taak toh soya na?

Karan: Toh keya hua? Mujhe phirse neend aa raha hai.

Simran: Alsi kahika.

Karan didn't pay any heed but went to sleep again.

ETF Office-

Sameer was in his cabin. Aisha and Chotu had gone out for some work. Rest of the team are finishing their pending work. Ariyan was also working with them. It's been one month since Ariyan joined ETF. He is a jovial fun loving guy. He heard about ACP Arjun Raawte taking a big leave. He also could see that how much his team missed him. He sighed. He knew he never can take Arjun's place in their heart not that he want to. All he want that someday his team will love him like they love Arjun. His eyes went to the bubbly, chirpy beautiful girl sitting doing work. It's been a habit. Whenever nobody noticed he kept staring at her. Her carefree musical laughter always held his attention. Liza and Shree were bickering as usual. Sakshi was trying hard to igore but failed.

Sakshi: Chup ho jao tum dono. Keya yaar tabse kaam karne ki koushish kar rahi hoom par nehi ho raha.

Shree: Toh mujhe kiyu keh rahi hai? Iss Liza se bol ki chup ho jaye.

Liza: Kiyu Specky Sen? Sirf mujhe kiyu?

Shree: Kiyu ki pichle adhe ghante se tum khud hi bake jaa rahe ho. Main toh bas do ek answer de raha hoom.

Liza: Specky...

Sakshi: Baas. Tum dono ekdam chup. Jaldi jaldi aapna kaam khatam karo. Arjun se SYS sunna hai keya?

Saying that she freezed. Shree and Liza freezed also. Their eyes darted to Arjun's cabin. It wasn't locked but nobody used it either. Sakshi went there daily and keep it clean. Without a word they started their work again. Ariyan sighed inwardly. It's not new to him. When they mentioned Arjun he could see hidden pain in their eyes. He could see the longing in their eyes.

Meanwhile in a deserted part of Mumbai a well build man is beating another man. Other man trying to fight back but failing miserably. After sometime he stopped beating. He grabbed a fistful of his hair and jerked his head up.

1^st man: Bol woh mujhe kaha milega bol.

2^nd man: Mujhe nehi patha. Sacchi. Maa kasam.

1^st man: Jhoot. Mujhe patha hai ki tu janta hai. Jaldi se apna mukh khol warna..

2^nd man: Sach keh raha hoom. Mujhe nehi patha.

1^st man: Samjha tu aise nehi manega.

He pulled out a gun and aimed at his head.

1^st man: Aab bol kaha hai woh. Agar abbhi tune aapna muh nehi khola toh iss gun ki sare ke sare goli tere saar pe ghusa dunga. Samjha ya samjhavuum.

But before the 2^nd man could open his mouth a gun fired and a bullet hit stright his head. Arjun became very shocked. He let his hold of that man go and went to search for the shooter. But he didn't find anything. By the time he came back the man was dead. He banged his hand on nearby wall. So close. He was so close. He will have to start his search from the very beginning again.

Behna bahot accha hai, but aise beech mein kyun chod diya paglet... Abb jaldi update kar... Karan and Simmi too cute... Little Enstien always super cool... Piyali todi pagal hai kya...???
