Chapter seven

She reached at bureaus within 7^th minute and moved to the center table with a winners smile, She saw Aiyar and Rathod sitting with khan there. Khan passed her a coffee mug.

Banarjee : Kaam ki baat karo, plz.

Khan passed her a piece of paper.

Banarjee : They are already in our watch list, now what?

Rathod : Khan's sources brought us a small goodie bag of that special supply.

Banarjee : You sure?

Aiyar : I've tested it darling, it's positive.

Rathod : And he/she(glared at Khan) found it inside the city. Now we want you to bring out all the calls made within last 24 hr's around these suspects.

Banarjee : Iski liye mujhe utane ki kya zaroorat thi? You can tap on the factboard and...

Khan : Those are registered calls, sweetheart. We want the unregistered ones.

Banarjee : It's impossible!! We can't trace unregistered numbers...

Khan : But you can find the calls made from unregistered numbers...the frequencies they use those are traceable na, the cellphones' IMEI? just find out if there any unregistered calls were made from their surroundings. Follow the GPS of their cellphone... Especially when they are supposed to be alone...

Banarjee : Isse kuch nahi honewala...main trace karr vi doon toh vi tum log ussko as an evidnce use nahi karr sakte. Agar sim ya handset nahi mila toh sabit kya karoge?

Khan : Tu uski chinta matt karr...tujhe jitna kahan utna karr. Rathod, Sukla kab tak aayga?

Rathod : Ayan Badola jaisa cheez ko yahan lane main waqt laagta hain...who bi uski baap ko bina inform kiye...

Aiyar : Haan, agar Viraat Badola ko pata chala toh police station se hi aapne bte ko churake le jayega. Aur hum kuch nahi karr payenge. Guys, if we're done here, I'm going to my wing. Call me if anything pops up.

Rathod : Haan, tum jaake aaram karlo. Hum yahan dekh lenge.

Aiyar moved to her wing. Khan sighed looking at her retreating.

Khan : Iss lady ki ek baat mujhe aaj tak samajh main nahi aaya, aapni itni long hair ko kaise manage karti hogi? Jab dekho tab tip top.

Rathod also looked at that direction, but he was thinking something else.

Rathod : Khan, yeh sample tumhari source ke haath kaise laage?

Khan : (looked at Rathod with meaningful eyes) Tumko aam khana hain, toh khao, ped ka pata puchke kya karoge? (smiled at Rathod's confused face) I didn't ask and she didn't answer. Tum aapna kaam karo, main Ansari aur Rao ki neend ka band bajake aata hoon.

He left a confused cum shocked Rathod behind.

After an hour, Rathod and Khan was looking at the window of interrogation room. Shukla and Roy were interrogating Ayan Badola, who admitted the drugs was his own.

Roy : Toh, Ayan tum iss drug ki business ko handle karte ho?

Ayan : Haan...

Shukla : Matlab iska importer tom ho? Kahan se import karte ho?

Ayan : Main kyun import karun...main isko paya hain..as sample..they said it it's good, I should try it...

Roy : Who said? Your exporter?

Ayan : Haan.

Roy : Aur woh kahans hain??

Ayan : Woh...woh ...I didn't met them..they parceled it...

Roy : Hmm...shukla, toh hum ispe charge laga dete hain..yeh khud qubool kia ki yeh pura racket yeh chalata hain.

Rathod : Are they mad? This Ayan is lying...He's just a spoiled rich boy...itna bara racket uski jaise addicted ne chalata hain? Impossible!

Khan : Avi sach bolega, rooko...Yeh Roy sach ugalwanka machine hain...

Shukla : Haan..aaj toh party hona chahiye, itna bara criminal haath laaga hain...

Ayan : Jaao, jo karna hain karo...tum log mera kuch nahi kar sakte...mera dad mujhe (clicked her fingers) Yun churake le jaynge...aur tum sab dekhte reh jaoge...

Roy : (Bent a little) Do you think it's that easy Ayan? You've been arrested three hours ago...and you dad has no idea where you are... he's looking for you...but you are vanished...we vanished you... and now if we don't get our answers...your dad never gonna see your face. Never means never.

Ayan : (fear was evident in his eyes) What!

Shukla : Haan...aab jab tum hume bata dia ki tumpe charge lagaun toh tumhara dad tumko (mimicking Ayan's action) yun chura lega..tuh kyun na tumpe charges lagan ke wajay..tumko gayab karr dia jaye..hamesha ke liye...what say, Rao?

Rao : Good idea...case file karne ka time bachega..paperworks bi nahi karni paregi.

Ayan : Kya karoge? Encounter?

Shukla : Arre nahi..tum jaiso ke liy goli thori waste karenge...hum tumko gayab karr denge...

Rao : Haan...woh go goodies humn seize ki..woh pura tumko khila denge...phir tumhari body kisi gutter main phek denge..Shukla...uss pub ke paas koi gutter hain?

Shukla : Dekhna parega..magar isko aise pheknge toh iska face se log isko pahchaan lenge..

Rao : Arre hamari doctor Rapunzel hain na...isko kaatke aisa haal karange kii isko dad vi pehchan nahi payega...chal iss khusi main.. lets have a drink. (looked at Ayan) Aate waqt iski liye jannat ki tickets vi le aayenge.

And both got up.

Ayan : Stop!!...I'll tell you everything. What do you want to know?

Rao and Shukla exchanged a meaningful glance and sat down.

Khan nudged Rathod.

Khan : Kya samjhe?

Rathod smiled back. For a moment he went back into his green days with Arjun.

Banarjee called everyone at her wing. It was another huge hall with a hexagonal stage at center surrounded by large screens and multiple consoles. Rest of the place was use as it subordinates working console. Banarjee was sitting on her chair looking at a screen.

Rathod : Anything particular?

Banarjee : Yup, something very interesting, A unregister call is made near Badola's location, seems this Badola is calling someone...

Rathod : Whom?

Banarjee : To some unregister no, which is located inside this Bahl's residence. And guess what? Bahl's mobile is showing the exact location of this call destination.

Rathod : Matlab emergency hain..

Ansari : Haan...beta nahi mil raha, aur special item ka itna bara portion police ke haath laaga...pareshani kii baat hain... Rathod, uss Badola ki calf ne kuch ugla kya?

Rathod : Shukla and Rao are dealing with him.

Rao(Veenita) : (stormed in) guys, our watchers reported some activities near that warehouse.

Banarjee : & our netaji and Mr. industrialists are at the stone's throw from that place. Guys, why don't you go for a late night drive.

Rathod : Let's go...Rao, call Rao and Ansari.

After 30 minutes, a big consignment of drugs were seized, the politician and industrialists were in CB's custody and another raid team were searching for evidences in their residences.

Both big gun's were sitting in the interrogation room. Rathod and Ansari entered and sat in front of them.

Bahl : Why you guys bring us here?

Badola : & where's my son?

Ansari : Relax Mr. Badola...and Mr. Bahl...first you say what your cars were doing near that warhouse?

Badola : Yeh kaisa sawaal hain? Woh meri company ka go-down hain...main toh kavi vi jaa sakta hoon...

Rathod : Haan, but 3.00am is not that awkward, right Ansari?

Ansari : haan, but Mr. Bahl, aap waha kyun gay the? (Bahl was about to answer) Ah-han, plz don't say you went there to have some fresh air.

Rathod : And those cheap cell phones with burner sim, don't tell us they're not yours, because we sized them from your pocket & our forensics found your prints on them.

Ansari : And those drugs we seized from your go-down. Mr. Badola, your warehouse manager is quite a good singer. He sang a long sing...

Rathod : & it was quite delightful for our years. Furthermore, your son also confessed his involvement into this, he didn't forget to mention his daddy's name also.

Ansari : & our IT team is looking into your computers and accounts...(to Rathod) Yaar, aaj toh hamari entertainment ki koi kami nahi hain...

Rathod : (to Ansari) I've already ordered for drinks and snacks ...now Mr. Bahl and Mr. Badola. Would you like to confess or..?

Bahi : I want my lawyer, now!

Ansari : Sorry, Mr. Bahl...it's not possible. You can ask for a lawyer after we hand you over to police. And, sorry to inform you, we still didn't thought about it.Now, you are in our custody, and if you want to see the morning sun, which gonna rise within next 20 minutes, you have to answer our questions..

Rathod : & Answers should be those which we expect to hear. Else... ( offered them a crooked smile) let's take a break of 5 minutes. You decide. Then we'll talk again.

Ansari and Rathod retired from the interrogation room and settled in lounge. Rao(Veenita) brought two mugs of coffee, kept those in front of them and settled into her place.

Rao(V) : Tum dono rest karolo...aage Shukla aur Rao samhaal lenge.

Ansari : arra nahi, Rao nahi...he loses his temper fast...waise vi, this is a raid without warrants...kuch ulta seedha ho gaya toh...

Rao(V) : Uske liye Fernandes hain na...

Rathod : No Rao, they are already busy with others...let's finish it.

Rao : Ok.

She shrugged and moved to her wing.

Rathod : Ansari...yeh Rao...

Ansari : Japanese laagti hain? She's from Manipur, her parental name was Veenita Pru.

Rathod : So, she's married?

Ansari : Was..with Rao. They broke up last year.

Rathod stared at him, confused.

Ansari : Kuch din raho, you'll be used to it. Inn dono ka pench dheela hain...aur dimag garam...last 2 years main yeh inka third divorce attempt hain. Saal khatam hone tak phir se shaadi karr lenge...you never know...come, un dono ko dekhte hain.
