8th July - Evening - Baraat ceremony and reception
Sameer was restless after he saw Annu leaving. He was looking at his watch again and again and pacing in his room looking at his sherwani. Arjun was amused looking at him.
Finally around 6:00 PM Suman told him to get ready and he grabbed his new clothes and rushed towards the washroom leaving behind Arjun who was laughing his heart out at his Sameer's funny behaviour.
Sameer was ready by 7:00 PM
He was made to sit on a Chowki where Mona tied the "Sehra" on his forehead and applied a little kohl a little behind his ear to ward off the evil eye. Thre were no bounds to Mona's happiness.

Shree came as bride's brother and led him to the beautifully decorated "Ghodi" to take him to the venue.
As soon as he got on to it the band started playing and all the relatives and friends started dancing in full vigour and the procession moved towards the venue.

As they neared the venue, Annu could hear the music. She blushed as she could feel her heartbeat increasing. Riya ran out to see the procession and was pulled in by Mona and Navika for dance. Arjun stopped for a while when he saw Riya dancing. She was looking gorgeous in the green lehenga. He couldnt take his eyes off her but was quickly pulled in for dance again by Mona. Arjun and Riya collided while dancing. Both felt a bit awkward but Arjun quickly dismissed it and continued dancing for a while before moving to side. Riya felt a little light and was happy. But she knew there was something more to Arjun's smile than it meets the eye.
Around 8:30 PM finally Suman ordered kids to allow Sameer to go in. Shree's parents welcomed them and Sameer was led to the dais where a beautifully decorated Swing was kep for Sameer and Annu to sit for the reception
Aaj kaisi dhoom hai ga rahi shehnaaiyaan
Aanchal ki chhaaon mein baitha bhaiya saiyaan
After a few minutes Annu entered the hall accompanied by Riya and Anushree. Sameer held his breath looking at her. He couldn't take his eyes off her. She was looking beautiful. She was walkig slowly towards the dais and the world seemed to stop for Sameer.
Saj ke doli aayegi laut ke jab saath mein
Pyaari si bhabhi ka haath loongi apne haath mein
Mona ran towards Annu and started walking besides her holding her hand. When she was close to the dais, Arjun nudged Sameer and he came out of his trance. He went a few steps forward to give his hand to Annu to hold while she stepped on the stairs. Everybody around clapped and Shree and Chhotu were whistling. Arjun glared at them and they stopped for a while but very next moment Arjun winked at them and they again started whistling and hooting.
Phir ek din arre.. kya kehna
ek phool sa khilega angna
Mona winked and demanded for a Jr Sameer or a baby Annu to which both Sameer and Annu blushed.

Dekho yaara mera
Arjun too was very happy for Sameer. His best friend who was always scared of marriage was in love and getting married and was happy.
Dekho kaisi saj rahi soorat mere yaar ki
Masti mein kya jhoomti shaam aayi pyaar ki
Shree and Chhotu were also very happy to witness the wedding of their sadu and hitler chief. This was something never imagined
Goriyon ke beech mein baitha kaisi shaan se
Aise hi poore hon din mere bhi armaan
ke In haathon mein bhi koi haath aaye
Apni bhi suhaag ki raat aaye
At the same time, Mona and Navika were there to distract Chhotu and Shree.
Arjun nudged them and pulled them for dance again.

Resham ki pagdi pe sehra ghar aangan mehka gaya Dekho yaara mera
They were really touched and happy to see Arjun happy.
But somewhere deep down his heart, Arjun was missing Roshni and so was Sameer. Both had tried to hide this from each other but they had read it in each other's eyes.
There was another pair of eyes which was following Arjun. Riya... it was not hidden from her that Arjun was trying to hide some pain behind this smile and happiness. She knew that all this marriage atmosphere must be reminding him of his wife. But there was nothing that Riya could do to help him. She was just a silent spectator. But after the dance she felt closer to him and felt that at least he is trying tocome out of his shell... for Sameer, for Roshni.
But only Arjun knew that even Riya has become a part of his little world that he has built for himself. And this was something that confused Arjun, how could he fall for Riya when he was still in love with Roshni. But no one can change the destiny and nobody knew waht was in store for them in future.
After sometime the reception started and the guests came and blessed the couple. It followed by the photo session. Everybody enjoyed.
