Chapter 7

Sakshi: Ar...j..un! Please mujhe jaane do!

Arjun: Sakshi, tum jaisi ladki sirf ladko ko use karna jaanti hai aur kuch nahi!

Sakshi glanced at him; arjun released her forearms and she gave him a tight slap on the cheek.

Arjun: tum aur kya kar sakti ho, Sakshi! Bye!

Sakshi thought about last night as the sun rose early in the morning. She kept turning sides in her bed thinking about Arjun.

" Mujhse Dosti Karogi, Arjun"

She took a deep breath and got up and sat on her bed.

"Mujhe farak padta hai Sakshi"

"Sakshi!!" She shouted out her name.

"tum mujhe date ke liye toh nahi puch rahi hoo naa. Actually, kal chale main free bhi hoon lekin ek sec...only after 6".

"Pagal hai, Arjun! Date...lets get ready for the day" Sakshi smiled.

She noticed Jia was sleeping right next to her. Sakshi put her hand on Jia's forehead. She recalls a moment spent with her.: " sorry mumma, main aagese dad ke bare mein kuch nahi puchungi...I love you, maa"

Im sorry Jia, sorry beta...main tujhe tere papa nahi desaki. You were right, Arjun is a very good guy, main dar rahi thi beta; Arjun tere paas aa raha tha and agar tune usse apne papa ki nazro se dekha ya chaha ki toh main tujhe aur rok nahi pati. But its not like that anymore, vo waqai hamri life mein khushiyan laana chahta hai. J Sakshi felt good talking about Arjun to herself and Jia even though she was asleep, Sakshi felt Jia was listening to her. Jia opened her eyes the next minute.

"Maa, you really wanna be friends with Arjun?!!" Jia exclaimed while jumping on the bed.

"JIA...badmaash, you were listening to everything?" Sakshi was surprised to hear what Jia said and Jia kept giggling and running around the room.

"Got you!!" Sakshi said while bending down on her knees.

"Maa, abse Arjun se baat karoge naa?" Jia asked innocently.

"Haan baba haan, chal, ab get ready and we will have breakfast...hmm". Sakshi stood up and made Jia's bag and kept Jia's clothes on the bed and shoes next to the bed on the floor.

They drove to Jia's school first and then Sakshi drove to the "Trend".

Sakshi peeked outside Arjun's cabin to see whether he is in office or not. She approached to the kitchen but heard nothing from there so she stepped back and went to her cabin.

After a few minutes, Sakshi was feeling restless so she decided to make coffee for Arjun to have a trademark for her new friendship. She brought coffee to Arjun's cabin and gave a light knock on the door.

"Come in"Arjun replied while he worked on the photos from his mac.

"Heyy Arjun! I made coffee for myself so maine socha I'll make one for you as well". J Sakshi said in a relaxed tone and put the coffee on his table, near him.

Sakshi, main coffee already pee chukka hoon and if you don't mind can I work now. Arjun said coldly and signaling her to leave.

"I'm sorry, if I disturbed you, bye" Sakshi left his cabin looking down.

The whole day passed by but with great difficulty since Sakshi was finding a chance to talk to Arjun about last night but he was not interested at all. It was almost 6 pm, Sakshi left the office and got into her car. However, she got out and decided to wait for Arjun. She couldn't see Arjun's car although, thought to wait by her car.

10 minutes had gone by but she didn't see Arjun coming out of the office building. She went up to the watchmen to ask whether he knew about Arjun's whereabouts. Unfortunately, Sakshi came to know that Arjun had already left the office.

Sakshi had no choice but wait for tomorrow, so she drove to home. In between her way to home there was a McDonalds so she stopped to get a take away for Jia. As she entered, she saw Arjun sitting next to a girl and eating French fries with her.

"Hi Arjun" Sakshi said, keeping her hand on his shoulder.

You know her Arjun???, the girl asked while looking at Sakshi.

Nahi, I don't know her. He said coldly.

"Sorry guys! Im sorry I was looking for someone else" Sakshi said excusing herself from the situation.

She ordered a McChicken meal and a large McCafe for herself. She noticed Arjun not paying any attention to anyone else except the girl sitting opposite her. She departed from McDonalds and approached her car but someone held her hand from the back. She turned around to see who it was.

Arre, yaar vo tujhe bhau nahi de raha toh kya hua main toh hun naa! A man said holding Sakshi's hand, gesturing it towards Arjun.

She tried getting her hand off from the man but he had tightened the grip. She took her other hand and slapped him hard on his cheek.

Ab dekh main tujhe kya karta hoon! The man said angrily, ready to hit Sakshi.

Ooo...hello bhaisab, apni bhabhi ko aisi nazar se dekhte hai!

Arjun said coming from behind.

Apna time mat waste karo, yeh terse nahi patne wali jaa! He said, while Sakshi opened her mouth wide.

Issne mujhe maara, main isse...!! The man said, raising his hand.

"Oye!" Arjun said in a higher tone. He was facing the man and covered Sakshi behind his back.

Sakshi was smiling behind Arjun's back.

Dekh jaane de baat ko jaa, ek baat sun! Arjun said calmly and whispered something in his ear

The man went away from there and left Sakshi shocked. Arjun turned to face Sakshi, smiling. Sakshi immediately smiled seeing him but made it a frown and hit him on his elbow.

Ouch! Yaar bachane ka aise thank you bol rahi ho?? Arjun said and held his elbow.

"Apna time waste mat karo! Tumse nahi patne wali! Idiot! Tum mujhe baccha rahe the ya mujhe criticize kar rahe the!"

Galat, I told him "terese", thik se toh line bolo! Arjun said mischievously.

Shut up Arjun! Sakshi said being irritated.

Thik hai, I'll go koi aur aajayega... Arjun said and turned back to go to McDonalds.

Arjun ruko! Sakshi called him from behind.

Ek sharat pe I will stop, he said before entering McDonalds.

Kya? Sakshi was curious. He came back to her, looking into her eyes.

Mujhse dosti karogi, he said while, he pulled out his hand forward.

Sakshi shook hands with him instantly. "Sochungi", she said while smiling.
