Ahaan! 😛 So tonight it wasn't an episode "inspired" by some American crime show.The creatives directly tapped into the epic creation by the Master of All Mysteries, Alfred Hictchcock's Psycho. All that was needed was the "Shower Scene" for this story to be the perfect remake of the masterpiece original.😆
Undoubtedly those who aren't aware of Psycho the suspense would have been mind boggling.But as I know Norman Bates & his "love" for his mother I straight away knew there was no old lady & it was all in Neeraj's mind that his mom hates to death any girl he shows the slightest interest in.Though why things came to be so could have been explored more in detail. What induced him to kill those poor hapless girls so brutally? The actor who played Neeraj did his part quite subtlely & seems to a seasoned player.Good job!👏
It seems Mr Malhotra is only going to get hotter as the weeks go by.Its just so beautiful to look at the frames he displays his myriad breathtaking expressions on. Not to mention the lovely shades of shirts he adorns.Today's onion coloured one was just so perfect. Zeroing on the photographer & then on the resort where Neeraj & his imaginary mother lived was a brilliant stroke. Its the gospel truth that so long Arjun manns his city loonies like Neeraj & his predecessors will have no place in it.
Still why couldn't the local police be informed of the impending danger to Preeti's life?😕 Arjun & his team had to zoom in all the way from Mumbai to Kalyan & barge into her home to save her. Surely there is no need at this stage in the series to hammer in Arjun's heroics.Its etched in stone in our minds that ultimately its his courage & brains that puts bad guys behind bars or in their graves.
It was great to see the whole ETF put in an appearance but there seemed to be little for them to do in the investigation.But its understandable that since this is a psychological series the focus at this point remains on the psychology & the modus operandi of the killer.
I hope tomorrow's episode is the last of the Serial Killer Specials.No doubt it was a brilliant conceptualisation & execution till date but we love the ETF members more than anything & would love to see more of them on screen.The Psychopaths simply have been hogging the limelight lately.😛
A very well made episode. Still a bit of zest was missing.It could have been more thrilling.
