'Blabber if you have anything other than claiming yourself as a CIA agent! Which we guess you are ' she informed in a way that told I-wont-Listen-Any-Shitty-Crap!!

'So there is a chance you'd believe me', he was relived to hear that at least they know he is a CIA agnet.

'Yes I am a CIA agent and I am working for something I can't reveal much about'.

'Oh, agent!!! I expected something better, how about starting from the start'???

He took a long pause before starting.

'I was called her by the DOD for a peace mission, I know how much of peach lover you people are', she could feel the sarcasm in his voice but chose to ignore and concentrated more on what he was saying.

'Your Govt. Is working with something very secretive and it needed to be done in PEACE , what most of you prefer. So they needed agnets to guards this mission'. Now she has a better idea about what he is talking.

'You know its like stopping those uninvited guests at a marriage party who came fore free snacks', he smiled a little while saying. Surely he has a great sense of humor.

'I see you are not surprised...now I think you know more than what I know'. Sam could not hide his astonishment at the way Riya maintained her calmness in a reckless manner as if she haven't heard him saying those words.

'Just a little agent, but that is not your buisness to know what I know' , she paused for a moment and asked again, 'I 'd like to talk more about your boss', she was sopt on. This was exactly what made Sam worried.

'I have no idea how can not he recognize me, Even I dnt exist in their profiles. That was disgusting'!! He was more worried than Riya. And he thought all the time he was reporting to the wrong person.

'Someone had messed up with the profiles but you need to tell me your wife was some tech Woman? Who hacked the CIA profiles? She is amazing actually', Sam noticed the excitement in her voice that surprised him. The woman in front of him who is in charge of his interrogation is unexpectedly impressed with his wife. Very interesting, he muttered softly.

'She was a Cop officer, the best one ever', he said with a sad smile.

The mention of Aisha and her being a cop drifted him to the pages of his past . To the disco where he gathered her in his arms, the hospital where he tried many failed attempt to cheer her and his proposal.

After Aishas full recovery he proposed her to marry and she agreed. But he was doubtful if she'd join the force again. The death of her family and the betrayal of her chief pushed her into a trauma that she even hated talking about the force. But surprisingly she never had any problem with his and with his duty. And thats what told him how much she loves him.

He made her realise his love to her, that he was not just doing his duty. He didn't care for her because of any damn order but he actually cared for her. Because his heart wanted to care for her to adore her and give her all the happiness she rightfully deserves. They got married in the simplest way. It was a court marriage. He didnt want her to feel the absensc of her family and he never had a family in particular. Commissioner of the Mumbai police was the witness of the ceremony.

He was still hesitant to tell her about the news he wanted to tell her from the starting but he needed her to stand by his side when he'd make the decision.

She'd ask many times where he went for a month and finally he told her that the US Govt need agents for guarding a higly confiedential work and he was selected among one to reperesnt India. But he didnt want to leave the country and HER. He didnt want to make her feel guilty but she blamed herself for being obstacle in his success and career. She then herself asked him to agree to the peace mission. She told him she dont have any family anymore and he is her only family and she'd go anywhere with him. And they shifted to US the next month. He only expected a happy life and a happy family in the US and nothing more.

'Interesting , so what made you land here'? She asked being excited for the story he's going to tell.

'As I said, the DOD hired me to work here'... But she was not convinced by his reply and he understood why. 'My personal life is not that dynamic to reveal and waste time over Officer and I am sure you understand this' , he added later.

She understood there is nothing more he wanted to talk about his life . But its not like always she'd get to interrogate a CIA agent and who was once a Indian resident.

'I worked as a DOD agent for two years and after that DOD changed their protocol and I think you know the protocol', he said questioning.

'Oh that's how you are working under CIA...', she did some quick calculations in her mind. She remembered three years back there was a change in protocol . The DOD had to make sure that the secret mission is safe. They replced the agents working for the mission with another group of agents from different countries and transferred the former agents to the other intelligence agency to avoid any kind of danger for both the agents and the mission, though the the protocol made sure the former DOD might stay in other agency but they are not out mission. They'd still have to work for the mission.

'So you're still working for the mission', she concluded with the confirmation by his nod. He told Aisha that he resigned from DOD and was done with serving the country and he'd do something else. CIA works demands secrecy and he was sure not to involve his wife and son in this secret mission. They are his only family here and he could never lose them. He told her he is doing a normal job with a good salary. And he was still guily for keeping this away from her and he could do nothing to keep her away from this mission anymore. She knows the truth now and he expect she'd trust him with what he is doing.

'Who is the one you are reporting to'? She asked him about his boss showing a picture on the screen , 'Is it him'?

'No, Who is he'? He have never seen the face of this man she showed.

'Then who? Look we know your protocol doesn't allow you to reveal about your boss but you'll have to tell us as in this case I think you boss is the one messing up with your career and life'! She couldn't put this all straighter. It is important for her to know, who is the person that messed up with the CIA profiles.

'This man is Hadwin, the CIA chief of the head quarters', she told him pointing at the screen.

'No he is not the one'! His reply somehow relived her. Atleast Hadwin is not the traitor. It could have created a lot of problem if he'd have been the one.

'I work with limited people and the rest work and conversation is only between my boss and me... You think he messed up with profiles'? He asked not being sure what he'd say. Even he thinks his boss betrayed him. Not recognizing him on the phone was enough proof for him.

'Okay we'd talk about that later but tell me first what the hell were you doing thre ? At that place'? He tone is more demanding and agressive now as if she will punish him for being at that plave which he had no idea.

'I was going to meet one of my informer.. What's wrong'? Her expressions were threatening for another unfolded mystery she's going to reveal.

'What exactly you kbow about the peace mission and how it works, do you have any idea , you shouldn't have been there? She said with disappointment over her face.

'We work under the DOD officially to search the persons who are planning any act of terrosim and to report any other suspicious activities across the country. We just dont doubt everyone around, we need enough evidence to prove that the person is breaching or trying to commit something that could breach the peace of the country', he briefed her but that still didnt give any hint that he knows everything. The DOD maintained it all well, she must praise them. She sighed and asked him again.

'And you konw what they do with the reported person'? He nodded his head in a no. 'May be for interrogation and detention'!! He added later not knowing the exact reason.

THEY KILLED ALL OF THEM! She said in her mind.

'But whats with the place and the location'? He is more curious to know what is in that place.

'If you dont know then you should not either...its against your protocol officer', she ended the topic right there which told him that he is not allowed to ask anything regarding the place.

'And did you have any idea about the blast? And what exactly your wife was doing there'? And that man as well'! Her gaze shifted to the cell opposite where Arjun was sitting, his aim somewhere between the corner of the wall. STOP LOOKING AT THERE! FOCUS RIYA! Her mind yelled on her. It even hurt her more to even take his name. She could not even think about the round two interrogation with him.

'I have no idea... She was nervous and crying ! And i really dont know what the man who once used to be my best friend was doing there with my wife at that moment', he said bewildered.

'What? Wait ...did you just say your best friend? She literally yelled over him startling him.

'Yes.. Thats long personal story ! Not much of your intrest' he said lazily.

'No frigging hell! That man was there with you at that place, and there was that blast and according to our database he is bloody spy and you are saying he might not be my interest'? She yelled again.

'Woah! Okay , he is a spy', he heard Charlie saying that thing where they were there. Again so many questions and no answer.

Department Of Defense
Chief Seretary of Defense Office

The office was unusually in chaos. It was supposed to maintain peace , but something is troubled. The department is concered for it particular one sister branch and the main reason for all the chaos.

The chief secretary looked through the windom from his cabin. How peaceful and beautiful it was outside. He looked his own office. And it was no so peaceful. He frowned.

'I think we should not have involved the other forces Sir', said Asst. Chief secretary. He isn't the one who'd be bothered for worst situation but have enough stability inside him to control the situation. But today its bothering him high time. His boss, the Chief Secretary could feel it all.

'That we did for was a reason Kent', he said touching the bridge of his nose.

'I keep hearing that since years's sir...', Kent didnt want to offend his chief but he was losing it. His temper.

'I still think pentagon was enough to tackle this'! He repeated like the hundredth time he did before but it just doesnt get the chiefs head.

'Why Kent? Pentagon was not made for this' he finished the starting converstation.

'And FBI was made for this? CIA was made for this? Nothing was made for this Sir, Do we even know where we are going...', he said with despair.

'This not the right time for discussing the entire thing Kent... We need to do something. We need to change things. The consequences woudln't be good Kent, and you that', he said staring outside the window again. It was still snowing. The night was looking peaceful like before. He just wanted to look ate there and think about peace. A soft growl escaped from the secretary's mouth and the chief know he is glaring.

'What exactly the changes would be sir? Another protocol'??? Another Force or another Group of agents'? Kent knew the look of his Chiefs' face and this time he can conclude things and he needs to make choices.

'You can very minutely depict my thoughts Kent? Cant you? The chief smiled.

'And this time you are letting all of them go like you did previous time', Kent growled with disgust dripping from his face for this person.

The telephone inside his cabin beeped for the second time nd finally both the man paid some attention at that direction . Kent received the call and that surely was not good news.

'Wats wrong'? Chief asked.

'It was Hadwin... Charlie wanted a meeting . With you sir', he said in his formal voice.

'Good! Let's get it done at once'! The chief smiled and Kent threw anoter disgusting look.

'Come on Kent, I am agreeing with you, I am shifting it to pentagon and you should be happy', he said but the mocekry was visible in his voice.

'I am doing all of this for country and for the world peace Kent, would you ever understand this'? He was trying to be more convincing but he just could not convince his Asst Secretary at the moment.

'Even I want peace Sir. But not like this... Not like this Sir'! He repeated leaving the cabin.

He stirred on the bed. He kept looking at the sky through the window. His efforts to count the stars is going nowwhere but he is feling. He is frustrated. He is lonely. He needed to do somehing. It's his third night in this tiny blue color room filled with Mickey Mouse stickers . He used to love them all the time but now he hates it all. That little life inside him was giving up.

After finally with so many struggles he got down the bed and the piece of device in his hands dialing a number. He could not afford to hear another mechanical irritating female voice that transfers all his calls to the damn answering machine which never answered a damn thing. He was sure he'd smash the piece of box if the format repeats this time.

Ring No. 1

NO ANSWER

Ring No. 2

THE CALL IS ON WAIT

He growled . Tightened his grip around the device, and tried a final call. This poor thing deserves a last chance before h'd smash it down, what he might thought or he had a hope, this time he would not be disappointed.

Ring No. 3

'Shaan , thats you bachha, why are not you sleeping... Are you okay?' *Pause* are you there' ? He heard the urgent begging of his mother. And he was weeping.

'I was missing you Mommay', he said between his weeps and that did something to the person on the other side, he could hear his Mothers sob.

'My Bachha, I missed you a lot beta... Forgive your mother for doing this to you', the kind listened what his mom saying. He'd never see his mother crying but now he is hearing it . And he is not liking it.

'You didn't answer calls Mommy... I was scared', he said frightened. He was trerrified with the thought of being alone all the time. That he'd not see his mother ever.

'I am sorry bachha, I'll be there... Papa will be there'! He believed his mother.

'Take me home Mommy...', he sobbed.

'Very Soon beta.. We love you', there is pause and the kid sliped into his bed . Mommy is going to tell stories.

Her hand caressed the matress beneath her body, searched something that was habitual from months and found empty as always. She woke up with a jerk and slapped her mind uncountable time for dreaming it again. This means nothing now.

She didnt spare any thought about the same dream which is broken with no hope now. She remembered his eyes, pleading her. I shouldn't look into them or I shouldn't believe in them all over again.

She was more curious to this new revelation. She could never imagine him to be a CIA agents a former best friend when the CIA agent was suspected to be a culprit and the later was a spy. She needs to inform this to Charlie.

She got down the bed freshened up and went directly to the kitchen. There shouldn't be any coffee waiting inside over the slab' . She just kicked the slab for thinking about him again. She needed to get out of this house. Each and every piece reminds her of him.

Her phone beeped with a message from Taliya which reads , ' At the forensic Lab! Its important'! 'When it's not important'? She mutterd and started gettin ready.

FBI Forensic Lab
Head quarters

The lab is full with broken, burned and spare parts of the blast site. As if the whole blast site is shifted here into this lab which kind of irritated the doctor. But he is doing his job. Yesterday's blast even made the situation worst. And they need to find out evidence. On top of that Charlies constant shouting is literal pain to to ears. That guy is too much loud today.

She tip toes inside hearing Charlie barking someone over the phone. He doubled the security on both the blast site. He saw Ria coming and motioned her to come inside.

Next Charlie stepped towards Dr. Blake who was utterly confused with a set of spared parts and has no idea what he'd do with those parts.

'Whats wrong Dr. Blake'? Charlie asked him.

'I just can't figure out things Chief', he said finally. His team exhausted for working since last 24 hours non-stop and he as well looked horrible.

'What do you mean Blake'? This time he was a bit softer and was a little calm.

'Chief, these explosives are strong, destructive and I dont know how to put this up but its a GPS remote control and as well it has a tracker', thats all he managed to say.

'What that's not possible'? Charlie was shocked.

'You mean this tiny device has a tracker as well and what exactly it tracks'? Asked Ria equally surprised.

'You wont believe it'! Said Dr. Blake.

'Just say it'! Charlie was impatient.

'It receives direct order from Satellite from the working base and ordering nextwork and its like really hard to break the connection once its connected' , said Dr Blake.

'You mean there is no way stopping it'? Asked Riya completely shocked.

'Yes' he said approving.

'But that not the thing troubling me Sir'!

'then what'?

'These explosives are the same ! They are matching with the spare parts of those , collected from that field'!!

None spoke for minutes.

Riya and Charlie gaped looking at each other.

'What'? Both yelled at the same time scaring Dr. Blake.

'Are you sure'? Charlie asked.

'But it was from a phone I guess...' said charlie when Dr. Blake nodded.

'That was false pretend I guess...' Dr. Blake answered.

'I need to work with this explosive ', said Riya looking at Charlie.

'What? Why.. You are required for other things Ria'? He said but he could not completely say her a no.

'I know Chief but we dont even know if there are any other blast going to happen and where? We need to find out a way to stop these blasts ...' her voice was urgent.

'Okay.. But first let Dr. Blake finish his work and we need to talk as well'! He finally agreed and they walked out of the forensic lab.

'You think BH have connections with these blasts'? Asked Ria.

'I am not sure', Charlie said.

'But I think he knows we are now searching him'!

'There is a meeting with Chief Sec DOD, I will report this to them'!

'woah! You arranged that meeting with them? How'd you do that'?

'Hadwin ! He arranged it'!

'You never involved him'!

'But this time I needed him'!

'I had my doubts regarding him ... Erm! I don't know if there something wrong with him'!

'You didn't tell me before Riya'?

'I have lot more thing to tell you'?

'okay'!

'He is a CIA agent... Sam! DOD hired him'!

'Then there is definately connections Ria or its the DOD! Something is fishy'!

'Connections yeah! Both our suspects were best friends'! She revealed everything about the interrogation of Sam.

'CIA agent and a Spy.. Best friends ? Interesting!! What more... Anything we could relate with the blast'?

'I think Sam is innoscent...I checked his agent profile . He is saying true'!

'We need to check with DOD as well'! Said Charlie for a final confirmation.

'And what about the other one'?

'Yet to interrogate'!

'Do it soon'! Ordered Charlie.

She is ready this time for the interrogation. She could not lose her temper this time and she. She would not repeat the same mistake again. Charlie has ordered her to interrogate Arjun soon and she messed up last time. Before going to his chamber for interrogation she first checked with his doctor. She could not forget the fact that he is not fully recovered and he needs rest. But she was in no mood to show any mercy. She had enough with him and she will treat him like other prisoners. Those in FBI detention face worst of everything and for a moment she wanted to make him feel all this. But the protocol and his medical condition don't allow them any kind of severe torture at least not before the interrogation.
The doctor has checked him this morning. He is recovering and the doctor was shocked that this kind of detention stress didn't affect his process of recovery. He was given his medicine through his water, he didn't know this. But at this point his survival matters most to the FBI.

He was just lying on the bed as usual far away from the place he was in. he is lost like he was before. He wasn't anymore thinking about the mission or about his friend but something is there he could not forget and constantly disturbing his thoughts.

She entered inside and found him lost somewhere. He didn't even notice when she came inside. The sound of the metal door opening even didn't disturb him from his thoughts. She snapped a finger in front if his face and brought him back to this world. He faced her now, her face cold and expressionless. He could not expect better. He knew she is back for interrogation. She is not anymore the girl who would sing love songs for him but her words are now like spitting acid. He didn't tell her ever but that's the thing he liked about her. She is all professional and business like who would never take shit from anyone. That's why he chose her. He didn't intent to break her heart but he did it anyway. He just think for once if he could make everything right with her but it is again too late to do so.

The second concern is she knew he is spy and she would not hear any lie. Next he wanted to know what's going in the president ministry. That's what exactly he wanted to know.
Slept pretty well'? She was a little sweet but bitterness was still there. She knew he didn't.
She figured the blackness under his eyes which pleased her for a fraction of second. She never followed sadism but today her broken heart is enjoying seeing his pain. Later she cursed herself.
So Mr. Arjun Rawte, will you tell me what exactly you were doing there at that place'? She never called him in that tone and that surname she is now trying to get acquainted. She knew some Arjun Malhotra, she fell in love with. And this arjun is arjun Rawte who is a spy.
And what exactly you wanted from me'?

The answer will be same Rawte that is none of your business...so now be a good guy and tell me what were you doing there'?
She asked him so many questions. How he came here, and why? Why exactly he chose to play with her? Did he know about the blast? Is he the one responsible for the blast? For which organization or force he is working for. But he didn't answer any. He pretty much pissed her off with his silence. She was even irritated question her more. Here a tiny part of him is feeling guilty for troubling her like hell. He did enough damage and he is doing it again and again.
Answer me damn it' she at last yelled on top.
What do you want to know riya...? I am just trying to save your people and mine people that's all'?
How. Like spying over a FBI officer? Being present at a classified confidential place where a blast occurs'?
Classified confidential place'???? He asked surprisingly and then she realized the mistake she'd done.

That we'd do even if you won't answer so stop wasting our time'.

You think the puppy love is still there? Stop dreaming Rawte'! She said sarcastically and he could sense the seriousness in her voice.
There was a sudden beep through wi-com that connected her to Charlie. He barked some orders and she needed to follow. The news was something like she was confused to express any expression. He didn't miss the face of hers.
You still have choices Arjun Rawte'!
What choices'?
Answer me or count your days! Because they'd make sure you spit everything'! She smiled this time, a cunning smile.
They'?? Her answer literally sent shivers down his spine and he was just praying he his anticipation won't come out true.
The DOD'. And he knew the end isn't so far. Everything will be finished if the DOD will be here.

Charlie was going to meet the Chief Secretary and before that he informed her for the quick interrogation. He had strong intuition that that DOD will definitely take Arjun with them if that is the matter what he thinks.
AN HOUR LATER
CHIEF SECRETARY OFFICE
DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE

They were all sitting in the conference room of the chief defense only four of them, the chief secretary, the assistant chief secretary, the chief of CIA and the chief of FBI. The chief secretary was not much pleased with the meeting nor was Hadwin. But that tone Charlie made and demanded everything, the chief sec had to agree. He knew where the discussion will lead and they knew where exactly he needed to stop. He was just all the time trying to be calculative.

Charlie started with the blast from the first place and then at the president ministry. The chief listened to him carefully. From his expressions it was confirmed that the DOD knew about the blast which angered Charlie.
You could have informed me from the starting Sir... I cannot tolerate someone question my ability for doing my duty. Do you have any idea what the media is making of it. They are talking about threats sir and people how will I calm the people'?
We need to know things sir which was kept hidden. If you involved FBI with this mission from the first place we needed to know every damn thing about the operation and the peace project'. What's the point of not informing us about the blast? There could have loss of life and they are the most important persons.
Calm down Charlie! We did what we had to do and I don't think we need you anymore. We knew there won't be any primal loss and we knew the blast was just a false threat to challenge us '!! The chief sec said with a normal professional voice which shocked Charlie to no extent.
What exactly is going on in the Dept sir... you knew about the blast but still you didn't inform any of us. And did you know about the explosives? What were you waiting for'? Charlie asked in a grave tone.
The traitors' answered the Chief Sec.
Now this is another shock to Charlie. He could not relate with what is the chief secretary is speaking. He talked about some traitor.
We regret our protocol change and we are going to correct it Charlie. Pentagon is now fully ready for whatever will come up. We don't anymore need FBI or CIA for the operation and project', said the chief very calculative.
How could you do that'? Charlie flared up. He could not control his anger. This is not fair how the DOD is doing changes with its own accord. It was definitely not correct when they involved the FBI and CIA for the operation and they can't just break the treaty just because they feel they aren't worth helping.
I don't think the mess is just correct. It's high time we work for the safety of the operation. I think involving the other forces is a trouble now. They might target your team and to yours too...' the chief said looking at Hadwin this time, we can't afford to expose the operation at this moment when everything is wrong and we have a traitor to find out', lines of worry formed on the chiefs forehead. The assistant chief still didn't say anything but he kept looking at Charlie.
I want all the progress of your current to be transferred directly to The DOD as well the suspects', said the chief. Charlie knew this would happen soon but he needed that piece of information and now he doubt his both the suspects are related to whatever the DOD is hiding.
The chief didn't miss the astonished face of Charlie when he demanded the case details. The situation now isn't that usual. Damn it. He hadn't faced something like this in his whole career.
Don't be surprised Charlie, now I think you know what I mean. I was serious about making a new protocol and well I am talking to the president too'
Don't scare me on the name of president Chief, whatever you are doing is just not right. I thought you were working for peace and for the people but what I see now is you are only trying to save your own ass' Charlie spat like he'd shoot the chief anytime. He didn't notice the smirk across the face of the asst. chief sec.
Whatever you may think Charlie, but this is my final decision! I want all the records and details by tomorrow evening shifted to the DOD database'! Charlie sensed the wrongs in his tone and chose to keep his silence. He didn't talk about the details. He didn't talk about the blast and explosives and their connection, but wanted to ask only one thing.
What you would do with the first batch agents?? And what one of those agents was doing there at the site? Were not they told about the place'? The question startled The DOD chief. There was an expression of uneasiness on the face of Hadwin as well. Both the DOD chief and Hadwin stared at each other.
Don't tell me Hadwin you trapped that agent Rathod'?
Charlie understood everything now.
We barely had any choice Charlie', answered Hadwin.
Then what's the point of interrogating his wife'
We wanted to confirm she doesn't know much things otherwise she'd had to face a lot more problem than her husband is facing and then there was that file. I needed to report the chief with this file'!

We want our agents safe and we want our secrets more safe than the agents... there is someone who is trying to spoil everything', this time the DOD chief answered and before Charlie could question more, the meeting is over and I expect your complete cooperation Charlie'.
The meeting is finished and Charlie side tracked Hadwin for a talk.
So you were trying to get that file from my office? What are they going to do with that agent'?
I think that agent is more familiar to the DOD than both of us. It's up to them what are they going to do'!
Why you agreed to the DOD'? Charlie asked confused. He can't figure out why would Hadwin try to help the DOD knowing that DOD shifting everything to pentagon.
I am more worried now Charlie. I always worked for national security and he assured me that. Those agents are still in risk'!
Are they doing it to all the first batch agents'? The first batch agents were from across all over the world and the first guardian agents of the mission. And it was obvious that they had more classified information.

He thought the whole day and he can't digest the fact that they are already talking about shifting him to the DOD. He could still imagine what would the FBI do but he could definitely imagine what the DOD would do. It's the DOD he was trying to hide from in the first place. He still could not answer his presence in this country and if the DOD will catch him the last straw to complete his mission will also be finished.
He needed to do something. He needed to plan something. To his surprise the last night wasn't much painful. Last night he just felt his eyes heavy and he just thought to sleep for sometime but he was not allowed. He took the hot coffee again knowing very much there isn't any caffeine to keep him awake but the morning he found himself lying on the metal bed. He just could remember the last night and her last words to him. His head still felt dizzy. He was surprised with the fact that they let him sleep. He got up and started pacing in that room. He didn't have that severe pain in chest. He is just feeling a bit okay or says normal. He had no idea what this day would bring for him. He is just unknown to too many things. But he was sure what he'd do. He had to tell her everything before the DOD could reach him.

The third time she came into his cell for another round of unfinished question and answer round.
I think you've made your choice', she grinned looking at him.
I hope last night wasn't awful', she said later.
He was not used to her this sweet treatment in the interrogation before and he knew whatever odds the day would present, has already started.
