rathore saw arjun is staring at him shockingly. he snatched the phone and talked to the person. he answered some stiff yes and sures, then suddenly he smiled little.

''really?''

''ok...'' he cut the call and turned to arjun. he was still in shock, his face completely blank. rathore turned to him, and hissed.

''how the hell my phone came in ur hand?''

''ummm...'' arjun was in dazed state still, ''exchanged.''

rathore took his own phone and give arjun's phone back, still glaring. then he asked him,

''anything urgent?''

''huh?''

''anything urgent that u came here?''

''umm...'' arjun was so coonfused that his mind was blank. without saying anything, he left the room. rathore rolled his eyes, and settled on his chair.

how the day passed, noone knows. it was the same like all days...solving case, going to lab, the juniors masti, seniors loggerheads. soon it was time for leaving house. arjun was driving for his lodge, he was exhausted from the days work. suddenly the SUV made a big sound, and he stopped the car. coming out of SUV, he saw the tires are puncture.

''what the hell?'' he muttered when he saw there were some pins on the road. he leaned down to pick it, when someone shot a bullet toward him. hopefully the bullet went past him, but he lied on road to secure himself, at the same time he took out his gun. he looked here and there, but there was darkness so he could not see clearly. slowly he got up, and looked here and there, searching in that direction from where the bullet was shot, but there was none visible.

he turn to his SUV and about to sit inside, eyes still searching for the shooter. suddenly he felt some cold metal behind his head and a hushed voice.

''gun down, ACP.''

arjun was making plans how to tackle this guy, and also thinking who is this guy and why he trying to kill him? suddenly there was another sound of bullet , and arjun saw the man behind him was dead.

that he is shocked would be understatement. he looked to the direction from where this bullet came, and was shocked.

''are you ok?''

the person come near him slowly and asked. arjun just nodded in yes, not able to say anymore.

''do u know him?''

he shook his head in negative. the person looked at the dead body, then to the gun in arjun's hand, then to the ETF SUV.

''u are from ETF?''

arjun again nodded. the person smiled little, then looked at the dead body.

''can u handle this?''

of course he can, he is an ACP. but arjun didnt mutter these words...he nodded again. the person gave him last assuring nod, and slowly vanished in darkness, leaving arjun alone in a dark highway with a dead body beside him.

next day-

all were sitting in the conference room, discussing some case. rathore was staring at the board where all the details of the case was written, arjun was twirling his pen, engrossed in deep thought. liza shree chotu aisha were reading the forensci files. saakshi was looking at arjun, who was oblivious to this attention. chotu saw saakshi and nudged his elbow to shree, who also saw it. while chotu was grinning, shree didnt like it. he made a face and glared at chotu, who was like "maine kya kiya?''

though everyone was busy in case, arjun's mind was far away from all this. all of a sudden he felt suffocated, and without any warning, he left the room.

''inhe kya hua?'' shree muttered. all mirrored his look, and rathore sighed.

arjun was standing near the window, looking outside the busy traffic of mumbai. he felt someone's presence beside him.

''kyu ayi hoon yahan?''

the person was none other than sakshi. she snapped out of her drooling session and tried to get back to her chirpy tone, ''tum aise achanak kyu chale aye?''

''har baat ko batana main zaroori nahi samajhta.'' arjun answered angrily. sakshi looked outside the traffic, and said in low tone, ''itna shor hain neeche...par yahan kitni shanti hain na?''

''ab tak to shanti thi...par ab nahi rahi'' arjun snapped her back and left for conference room. sakshi looked at his retreating back, sighing heavily.

all looked at each other and was about to get back to work, suddenly there was a knock in door, and voice, ''may i come in, sir?''

rathore smiled and turned to his team, ''team, this is our new member.''

precap- who is the person who saved arjun's life? and who is this new team member?

I have the same question who is that person nd who was the person who called Rathore???intresting part except some irritating part... u knw which part im mentioning Update soon.. me waiting
