Aayesha just stood at her place rooted, looking at a broken down Sameer,
And I was wrong...galat lagta tha mujhe ki Arjun Sir sabse akele hain...Arjun Sir toh apne parents ke paas kabhi bhi waapis jaa sakte hain...lekin Rathore Sir...unka toh koi apna hai hi nahi...koi aisa jinhein woh apna keh sake...jisse woh apne dil ki baat keh sake...koi apna...
She bent down and hugged Sameer tightly. A broken down him, hugged her back.
Warmth of a hug was something he had desired always...and he deserved it...didn't he?
Aayesha parted from him, sat with her back against the terrace, and pulled Sameer closer. He rested his head on her shoulder and hugged her again.
Aayesha could feel her kurti getting wet. But she didn't ask him to stop. She very well knew that stopping him at the moment, won't be good. He kept on hugging her, sitting at his place, flushing out his sorrows and loneliness in the form of tears.
Nearly half-an-hour later, Sameer parted from her, and got up,
Sam : (turning away) "I'm sorry Aayesha...mein bhi pagal hunn..."
Aa : "Woh toh aap hai hi..."
Sam : (turns and looks at her) "Kya matlab?"
Aa : "Ik toh tabiyat itni kharab hai...aur aap lage huye rone..."
Sameer just lowered his face, and looked away.
Sam : "I guess ab tumhein jaana chahiye...bahut late ho raha hai...should I drop you..."
Aa : (pouts her lips) "Seedhe seedhe keh dijiye ki mein chali jaun...kyunki aapko yeh sab bahut awkward lag raha hai...mein chali jaungi khud..."
They walked towards the door, and Aayesha stood at the door.
Sam : "Kya huya Aayesha..."
Aa : "I love you..."
Sameer just nodded and smiled.
Sam : "Aayesha, late ho raha hai tumhein...aisa mazaak toh tum baad mein bhi kar sakti ho..."
Aa : (lil harshly) "Mein mazaak nahi kar rahi..."
And Sameer stood at his place freezed,
Sam : "Kya?"
Aayesha stepped inside, hugged him sideways, and pecked his cheek for a lil longer than usual.
Aa : "I love you...dubara bol deti hunn...I love you...ik baar aur bolun..."
Sameer looked at her, and just shook his head.
Sam : "I..."
Aa : (excitedly) "You love me too? Haye I already knew this...I love you so much!"
And an excite her hugged him, leaning her lips on his. Sameer just stood at his place, rooted, looking at Aayesha with widened eyes, wondering if something was wrong with her.
As soon as Aayesha parted, Sameer turned his face away to catch his breathe.
Sam : "Aayesha! Aise koi kiss karta hai kya?"
Aa : (blushing) "Shareefon waali kiss ho gayi na? Ruko thoda dhang se passionately kar deti hunn..."
Sam : (stepping backwards) "Nahi nahi...bas bas bahut hai aaj ke liye...lets go haan? Chalo bye..."
Sameer pushed her out and was just going to close the door, when Aayesha pushed the door, and jumped into Sameer's arms.
Aa : (pulling Sameer's cheeks) "By god, kyun ho itne cute! I will end up eating your cheeks someday..."
An embarrased and shy Sameer looked here n there, as Aayesha smiled at his cuteness.
Sameer placed her down and walked into his room.
Aa : "And I didn't knew ki a cuter side of him existed too..."
Aayesha locked the door and went inside his room. And she saw him taking his medicine.
Chalo shukr hai...inhone medicine toh li...
Aa : "Toh aap mujhe I love you too nahi bolenge?"
Sam : "I..."
Aa : "Kya I - I laga rakha hai aapne...mein ladki hoke confess kar chuki aur aap hai ki...aapko sharam nahi aati...ab bolte kyun nahi...boliye...bolte kyun nahi..."
Sam : "Tum bolne dogi toh bolunga na!"
Aa : (scratching her head) "Oh haan...(smiles) Please proceed..."
Sameer took his medicines and placed the glass on the side table. He opened his wardrobe and took out a lil box.
He walked upto Aayesha, and bent down on his knee,
"Miss Kapoor, Will you marry me? Will you be there for me, forever? Will you be the one whom I can call mine for a lifetime?"
"Yes yes yes! Mujhe karni hai shaadi, meri taraf se toh abhi chahe shaadi karlo..." Aayesha replied.
"Nahi nahi...itni jaldi bhi achi nahi...(slips the ring into her finger)" Sameer replied.
He got up, as the duo hugged each other.
Ik tujhko hi bas dekh kar...
Bole mujhko hi meri nazar...
Tujhko shayad nahi hai khabar...
Tujhko jeete hain hum kis kadar...
Aa : "I love you Sameer...and I will be there for you...always..."
Sam : "I love you too Aayesha...and thank you for being there for me..."
They parted, as Aayesha spoke up,
"Ab mujhe kisi baat ki bhi chinta nahi...aapne dinner bhi kar liya...you had your medicine too...and the best part...that I was able to bring a smile on your face...(looks at the ring) and this, is something priceless...now I can leave with a satisfaction mark in my mind, that I completed my objectives..."
She turned when Sameer grabbed her hand,
"Aaj yahi rukk jao please..."
Aayesha took her hand back, and stood with her arms crossed across her chest, faking anger,
"Aap toh mujhe dhakke mar ke nikal rahe thay..."
"Acha baba, sorry..." Sameer replied.
She grinned giving him his reply.
He turned off the lights, as they laid down on the bed. Aayesha cuddled up herself in his arms, and Sameer encircled her in his arms, as they drifted to sleep and dreams of a peaceful life ahead.
Thank you Aayesha...aaj na jaane kitne waqt baad meine apni dil ki baat kisi se baati hai...itne saalon baad...meri zindagi mein koi aisa aaya...jisse mein apna keh sakoon...koi apna...
