Next Morning.
She gets ready in her best formal attire.Maroon coloured half-sleeved shirt and navy blue jeans and with her gun holsters.Shanta tai brought the Aarti ki Thali and Riya took the Aarti.Shanta Tai blessed her and wished her all the best.Ayesha also called her up and wished her also.
Riya came out of the house and saw an entourage of cars.She was surprised.A person came forward and saluted her.
''Hum aaapke bodyguards hai,Ma'am.We are here for your security.Aap beech wali gari mein baithengi.Yeh sab DIG sir ke orders hai.''
Riya nodded and got in the middle car.All the roads that lead to the Mumbai Crime Branch Headquarters were made free,as per the DIG' orders.As the entourage of Riya's cars' passed from that road,the policemen saluted her,as her car had the logo of Sr.DCP of Mumbai Crime Branch and Mumbai Police.
After 25 minutes,she reached the Mumbai Crime Branch headquarters.It was a very big place.It had a garden,where the National Flag was flying in the sky.It also had a statue of the Father Of The Nation.
As Riya got down from her car,the present police officers' saluted her.She raised the National Flag and placed a wreath on the floorbed of the Father of the Nation's statue.
Akriti and Adhbhay were present there and was carefully observing Riya.They were indeed really very happy to have Riya as their head.
''Iss baar Mumbai se gundagardi ki acche se dhulai hogi,'' Adhbhay said to Akriti.
After all the procedures,she was escorted to her office.As she entered her office,her table had the nameplate,engraved with her name and her post,
''Senior Deputy Comissioner of Police and Head of Mumbai Crime Branch,DCP Riya Kapoor..''
She felt really proud of herself.She went towards her table,but,suddenly stopped in her tracks,as she saw a small Mandir built in some corner of her Office.She went towards the Mandir,lit the Diyas' and did the Aarti.She even offered the Aarti to everyone,personally.
Each and every police officer present there,were feeling really happy,excited and considered themselves very lucky to work under the ''BEST ENCOUNTER SPECIALIST OF MUMBAI POLICE DEPARTMENT.''
After the Aarti,she went and sat on her chair.She herself was feeling realy great and honoured.Each and every police officers of different ranks working in Mumbai Crime Branch came and introduced themselves to Riya.There was a very old police havaldar.He came to introduce himself to Riya.Riya saw him and got up and went towards him.She touched his feet and took blessings from him.That old man blessed her.Everybody was shocked and surprised.
''Har shubh kaam se pehle Bhagwaan se aur apne bare buzurg ki aashirwaad leni chahiye,'' Riya happily said.
''Jeete raho,beta.Ab tumhare kabil haato mein puri Mumbai Crime Branch aur Mumbai Police ki zimmedari hai.Acche se nibhana,'' that old man said.
''Zarur nibhaungi.'' Riya said.
As the introduction session was over,she sat in her seat.She called Adhbhay.
''Sr.Officer Adhbhay Khanna reporting.Kya orders hai,Ma'am?''
''Immediately call a meeting of all the ACPs' right away.I want to check their abilities and how they work.Efficiency,Team Effort,sab kuch check karungi main.Jo koi bhi naa aaye,type a suspension letter and get it signed by me.Is that understood?''
''Yes,Ma'am... I will do it right away.''
Adhbhay leaves and immediately does his work by informing all the ACPs for the emergency meeting call given by the new Sr.DCP of Mumbai Police and head of Mumbai Crime Branch.
On the other side,all the ACPs',including ACP Sameer Rathod,ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte and ACP Ayesha Rathod,were informed about this emergency meeting.
Ayesha told Sameer and Arjun and the others about Riya's promotion as the new Sr.DCP of Mumbai Police and the head of Mumbai Crime Branch.
They were really happy,but,as well as,they were really nervous and feeling guilty,as to how,they will face Riya?
