Part - 9

A few days breezed by, welcoming their vacation cum honeymoon week.

SaSha were sitting on their respective seats, Sameer flipping the pages of a popular magazine, Aayesha listening to music on her iPod Touch.

Suddenly, she stretched her arm, forwarding his hand in front of him. He looked at her hand and then at her,

"Kya huya Aayesha?" he asked her.

"Dekho Mister...hmm...Sameer...humari shaadi ho chuki hai, par hum abhi tak ik doosre ko nahi jaante...we are not even friends...don't you think we should end up our silly fights and become friends?" she replied.

"Hmm...not a bad idea...par agar hum dost bhi bann gaye toh bhi ladna kabhi band nahi hoga..." he replied her.

She smiled at that, and seconds later flashed that beautiful smile of hers. He admired that, and slipped his hand into hers, as they finally became friends.

The ladies slumped on the bed,

"Didu, mein thaku ho gayi..." Aashi told Roshni.

"Mein bhi..." Roshni replied her.

Aashi snuggled closer to her, when her phone buzzed. She excused herself and walked out of her room. Roshni was a bit surprised by Aashi's action..

She had never done this before...

But then she chose not to interfare...because she trusted her choti.

Aashi looked at the caller id,

Siddharth..

"Hey Handsome...it's a week since we last met..." she told him, as she encircled her arms around his neck, pulling him closer.

He looked upset.

"Hey Arjun...baby whats wrong with you?" she asked him, but no reply came from his side.

He took off her arms, and walked away.

Roshni...

***

Aashi came back into the room after attending the call. She looked as if in tension,

"Choti...Aashi kya baat hai?" Roshni asked her.

Aashi was very well aware of the fact that she could never hide her sorrows or pains from Roshni and especially Sameer. They always came to know about her tensions very easily.

She laid down on the bed, placing her head on Roshni's lap,

"Didu...woh Siddharth hai na, Aayesha bhabhi ka bhai...he..." she told Roshni, but stopped abruptly.

Roshni gave her time and waited for her to continue,

"Mein sunn rahi hunn Aashi..." he told her.

"Didiya...he likes me! Eeks!" she replied Roshni.

Ro : "Toh ismein eeks waali kya baat hai..."

Aa : "Kyunki I don't think for him like that...to be honest, I'm confused...I sometimes think that I like him...sometimes I don't..."

Ro : "Jahaan tak mujhe lagta hai, he's a good guy...better than that stupid brother of his..."

Aa : "Kaun didu?"

Ro : "The one and only Arjun..."

Aa : (with a naughty smile) "Ohoo...Arjun...jiju!"

"Kya?" a shocked Roshni spoke up and ran behind Aashi,

"Aashi ki bachi...rukk tu!"

He was sitting silently, enjoying his fav. alcohol brand, and was wondering as to why he was thinking so much about her these days.

Unknown to him, he was changing. He wasn't the same spoilt brat he used to be.

Was she the one responsible for his change?

He placed the empty bottle on the table, and picked up his phone, dialling Roshni's number.

"Mujhe tumse milna hai Miss Roshni Rathore..." he told her as soon as she picked up her phone.

Ro : "Kyun?"

Arj : "Har baat ka reason ho zaruri nahi..."

Ro : "Hota hai...now just shut up! Mujhe koi baat nahi karni tumse..."

Before she could hit the disconnet option, he spoke up,

"Mein Jodhpur aa raha hunn..."

Siddharth was confused.

Kya mujhe usse yeh kehna chahiye tha? Meine jo bhi kaha woh galat tha kya?

He was busy wondering about the stuff that happened a lil ago, when Arjun entered his room.

"Pack your bags, we are leaving for Jodhpur early morning..." he ordered Sid.

He looked at him confused, but then he realized that he had a good chance of meeting her.

Sid thanked his lucky stars and started packing his bags.

They came out of the Airport, when a chilly breeze started blowing. Aayesha rubbed her upper arms for some warmth, when Sameer noticed her. He removed his jacket and gave it to her.

She looked at him for few seconds, and then took the jacket, saying a silent Thank You.

Kehte hain khuda ne

Iss jahaan mein sabhi ke liye

Kisi na kisi ko

Hai banaya har kisi ke liye

He nodded. Their luxurious sedans were waiting for them. They sat in the sedan and left for their hotel.

What has destiny stored for the 6 people...and specially Sameer-Aayesha...will they ever fall in love?
