Arjun and sakshi were seated in the restaurant, with some dishes in front of them.
They were dressed to kill.
Sakshi was continuously staring Arjun with a smile on her face.
Arjun was quiet irritated.
"sakshi mere chehre pe koi Bandar naach raha hai kya? Aise kyun ghur rahi ho?"
"kyun Arjun? Agar main tumhe deklhu to tumhare badan mein aag lagti hai kya???"
She said cheekily and winked at him.
Arjun was stumped for a moment.
It was true. Every time she stared him, there were emotions evoked that he had buried when his life was snatched.
He could not lose himself to this girl sakshi.
He was only roshni's and only hers.
He had accepted that very happiness in his life mattered nothing when roshni was snatched.
He wore the indifferent mask and spoke to her.
"mujh mein aag lege ya naaa lage ye ab important nahin hai na miss sakshi anand... haum yahan kaam ke silsile mein aaye hai aur kaam karo. Mere maamlon mein dhakal dene ki koi zaroorat nahin hai tumhe. Samjhi ya... samjhau..?"
This was the attitude that always triggered the wrong side of her.
She lost her coll but yet spoke in a calm voice
"Arjun... tmhari yaaddash itni kamzor hai ye main nahin jaanti thi. Cholo... I ll remind you... hamara yahan jo kaam tha wo khatm ho chuka hai... to will you please concentrate on the food we have here?!"
She smiled sweetly and dug into the food.
Arjun flared at the comment. He was here solely to work and she was rambling.
He banged his palms on the table starling her.
"jitna bola gaya hai usska end full stop samajhna tumhara kaam hoga miss.sakshi anand, mera nahin. Mere liye kisi kaam ka end full stop nahin hota. Tum to iss field mein rehna ke laayak hi nahin ho. His face was red in anger.
He saw her face slowly turning red, jaws tightly set. Her nose and ears were already in dangerous shade of red.
She threw the spoon in her head on plate with a bang and stood furiously.
"mere baare mein jaante kya ho tum Arjun that you are judging me? Mere apni beliefs hai, morals hai aur kisi bhi haal mein I will not break those. She had tears at the end of her little speech.
She was stunned herself.
She had confessed that she loved him in front of so many. Now she was scared. Scared of his wrath. She took a deep breath and braced herself.
On the other hand Arjun was really confused...
He did not know what to tell.
A part of him was happy knowing she loved him. but the part of his heart that always had roshni in it chided him.
He felt he was betraying his roshni if he accepted sakshi.
He went and gripped her shoulder hard, forgetting their surroundings
He blurted what ever came to his mind.
"pyaar? Mujhse?! Waah... and I need to believe it sakshi. Really? You fall in love with a broken man, who is arrogant, rude, brute and what not. Who does not have a heart. Jiske paas wo dil hai jo sirf uske mare hue biwi ke liye dhadakta hai. Aur tum mujhse pyaar karti ho. No sakshi... you don't love me. Its just sympathy towards me and my fate jise maine kayi logon ke aankhon mein dekhe hai. Wo mujhe nahin chahiye. Infact mujhe koi nahin chahiye. Main aise akela hi theek hun.

It was more like he was telling those things to himself, convincing himself that he does not love her.
He let go of her shoulders and turned round and closed his eyes to calm his nerves.
A sob escaped from sakshi's mouth.
She immediately placed fist against her mouth and went out of the restaurant.

"door chali jau naa... to lo. I am going. I will never come back. samajhte kya ho tum apne aap ko huh!!!!"
In hurry to escape from there, she left behind her purse and just took mobile which had battery that would drain in an hour.

Arjun turned round when he did not hear any voice from sakshi.
He was shocked not to see her there but only her purse.
He mentally smacked himself.
Why would she be when he had given her an earful?!
He felt like an idiot.
He had turned away from life, yet again.
He sighed and placed some amount on table. He picked her purse and left restaurant.
He left his vehicle behind and started walking towards ETF. He needed some time to clear his thoughts.
He called chotu and asked him to take the car to ETF.
Their case was successfully solved already.
He walked through lanes for about an hour and reached ETF.
He expected her to be already there.
He entered ETF and first thing sameer Rathod asked him was
"Arjun sakshi kahan hai? Tumhe hum wahan se akele aate dekha..."
Arjun was shocked.
She was not here. Where did she go then? kahin kuch ulta seedha???!!!! Nahin. She wasn't someone who would do such kind of thing.
"kya matlab hai tumhara ki wo yahan nahin hai?! She left before me... she must be here right?!" he said in a hopeful voice.
The slight fear in his voice was evident.
"no...she did not come here. Even her cell phone is switched off. Aur kya matlab ki wo tumse pehle nikal gayi thi wahan se? tumne phir se kuch kaha usse?"
Sameer glared him heart.
Arjun stood quiet for a while and immediately turned his heels and marched outside, surprising others.
"I need to find her. I can't afford lose her like roshni... I ll find her... sakshi main aa raha hun..." he mumbled to himself.
He repeatedly called her phone but it was switched off.
He felt as if someone was strangling him.
His breathing became uneven.
Usse laga ki uski saasein ruk jaayengi...
He went near the hotel and asked people around. watchman showed him the direction where she went.
Arjun ran along the road, asking every person about her showing her picture.
He could see her hand slipping out of his with every passing moment.
"dammit sakshi... aise koi jaata hai kya? Ab main kahan dhundu tumhe? Mujhe satane mein itna mazaa aata hai tumhe???? O God...!!! I love her. I love that mad jhalli sanki ladki... agar pyaar naa karta to ye sab naa karna padta... ab kahan dhundu mai?"
He spotted a tea stall and askind him.
He told her that the same girl had visited his shop and had brought two cutting chai and had paid even for the glasses and hired an auto.
"kahan gayi wo? Bolo jaldi..."
"saab kuch chaupati jaise suna maine.. pakka maloom nahin..."
Arjun out of blue hugged him and borrowed a bike showing his ETF ID.
He drove like a maniac to chaupati and parked the bike carefully.
He ran calling...no screaming her name.
"SAAKSHI..."
He searched in every crowd. He was losing hope.
He was in a secluded place on the beach where not many people visited.
He screamed in despair
"SAKSHI I LOVE YOU... PLEASE COME BACK TO ME... I CANT LOSE YOU TOO..."
He collapsed on his knees. He covered his face with his palms.
He felt a soft hand on his shoulder.
He turned his head to see. His heart screamed it was sakshi.
He saw her face, damp with tears, red eyes.
He stood and hugged her tight.
"I am sorry for all those words sakshi... I am really sorry...please mujhe maaf kardo..."
He kissed her face and again hugged her.
"Arjun, tumne thodi der pehle kuch kaha naa?!"
"kya?"
"ki you..."
"I love you sakshi,... I want to move on with you.. will you heal me? Willl you teach me live again?"
"yes dammit!!!! With that she slammed her lips to his for a passionate kiss.
It marked a new beginning.
