"And next time when you leave ETF, i promise you that you'll feel even afraid just to turn and remember us" Arjun said and taking his gun he just left from there.
Sakshi had tears in her eyes, she knew that she was constantly irritating Arjun, but she never thought that Arjun would hate her so much, that he'd behave and openly make her afraid. A love tear fell from her eye, she raised her hand and wiped it.
"Kuch bhi nahin, i have no choice to remain here. This is the only way i can reach my aim! I'm ready ACP Rawte, jo karna hain, karo! I wont be running away!" She also left the office in anger and decided to go and visit her father for some peace of mind and to gather enough courage to deal with Arjun's hatred.
Next day
They were all sitting in the conference room, when Rathore entered and told his team that he had a new case.
"A body was found in a deserted lane. He was a taxi- driver. He was shot at. Let's go team," Rathore said, and then turned to ask, "Where's Sakshi today?"
They all replied that they didnt know, while Arjun was internally happy that his dhamkis have worked, Sakshi bhaag gayi.
"Oh come on Rathore, you know very well how inefficient she is! She's only here for fun, and now you think she'll also be punctual!"Arjun added irritatedly.
"But she's never late, and if she's not coming she's always telling me!" Rathore said to himself.
"Please Rathore, let's not waste time over someone who's being here or not doesn't even affect us!" Arjun said and left the conference room.
Aisha, Shree and Chotu looked at themselves and Rathore.
"I'll give her a call to see if she's gonna come Sir," Aisha said and tried to call Sakshi. But her phone was unreachable. She nodded her head in a negative way, and then they all went to solve their case mentally saying that after the case they'll call her back.
Throughout the whole day, Aisha, Shree and Chotu would take turns to call Sakshi but she was always unreachable.
While Arjun on his side, was very carefree and relieved that Sakshi wasn't here to disturb anyone from working, neither he had to bear her chatterings on and on. It was almost night, when they returned back to the office. They were all sitting in the conference room, very much disturbed because they hadn't been able to solve this case at all.
"He was shot, but we have nothing on the ballistic report to relate on any previous cases," Arjun was saying.
"But why would anyone want to kill him? He's all alone, has no family. And his friends also have no clue on who can kill him and why?" Rathore said.
"Maybe he saw something, and was killed. Because otherwise we have nothing on him!" Aisha added.
"And we didnt get any finger prints from the taxi at all!" Shree added.
"And the taxi also didnt seem to have been damaged. It was in perfect state!" Chotu added.
"This case seems to lead to a dead end! Chotu try to see with your contacts if they know anything about it! And what about his phone details?" Arjun asked.
"There wasn't any mobile on the crime scene. But i managed to get his number from the person who was the owner of this taxi," Shree said, and left to check what he could get from this number.
"Aisha, kuch pata chala about Sakshi?" Rathore suddenly asked. Arjun glared at Rathore for bringing Sakshi's name when he had almost forgot about her.
"Nahin Sir, kuch bhi nahin! She's not picking up her calls," Aisha said.
"Please Rathore, we dont have time to waste on someone like Sakshi. Our case is more important!" Arjun stated angrily.
After a few minutes, Shree came back and said in a strange way, "Sir, i called the last person the taxi driver had talked to, and it seems that the last passenger lived around a few metres from here. And it was around 22hrs at night."
"Let's go and meet him, maybe he saw anything!" Arjun said and all went to meet to meet the last passenger.
But unfortunately they couldn't get anything from that person also, except what Shree had already told them. They returned to the office very disappointed.
"Team, tomorrow we'll work on this case. For now let's all go home!" Rathore said.
When everyone had gone, Arjun was alone in his office. He was sitting remembering his last words to Sakshi, he never knew it was that easy to scare Sakshi away. Finally they are free of him. He took his gun and left the office too.
The next day
Shree, Aisha and Chotu were in the conference room, sipping on their coffee while waiting for their seniors to come.
"Shree kuch pata chala about Sakshi?" Aisha asked.
"Nahin re Aisha, her phone is no longer reachable. Pata nahin kya ho gaya? And why she has disappeared like this!" Shree said.
"Shree do one thing, try to see if you can trace where she is through her mobile, or even if you have her address, we'd all go and see her after work tonight! Otherwise i wont be able to sleep, i feel really worried for her!" Chotu said.
Chotu had just finished talking when someone else said, "Please you people come here to work, not to talk about things unrelated to crime cases. Sakshi must be enjoying herself in some party, or maybe just feeling too lazy to work!" Arjun reprimanded everyone.
"Noone has asked you anything Rawte! You never did, do or will ever understand the meaning of a team!" Rathore said angrily entering the conference after Arjun.
Both glared at each other, before Rathore turned and told everyone that they have a new case.
"But what about that taxi driver's case?" Arjun asked.
"We dont have much clues on that person! But let's finish this case, afterwards we'll come back on this case!" Rathore said.
They all left for the crime scene, where this time a girl was found killed. It took them the whole day, but finally they managed to solve the case. The girl's ex fiance had killed her out of anger. They all returned after solving the case to the office, when Rathore asked Aisha if she had heard from Sakshi or not.
"Nahin Sir, nothing till now!" Aisha said extremely worried now and added "But we are going to drop at her place to see if we can get anything!"
Arjun still gave them an angry look because they even cared to waste their time on Sakshi. After some time, Aisha, Shree and Chotu left the office and went to check at Sakshi's address. But unfortunately no one replied to the door, and after breaking the door, when they got inside her apartment they found that Sakshi had probably never ever came to her apartment the last two days. They were getting very worried now for Sakshi. Aisha decided to call Rathore and tell him the truth.
Rathore asked everyone to come back to the office and that it was high time they worked on finding Sakshi.
After one hour, everyone were sitting in the conference room trying to decide how to find Sakshi. While Arjun looked very much frustrated hearing everyone.
'Rawte, if you dont mind, we could do with your super intelligent brain here," Rathore said sarcastically.
"Rathore Sir, maybe she just got tired and scared of our job and ran away!" Arjun said back with same sarcasm.
