Riya hurriedly went towards the washroom and started to wipe out the stain on her white saree.her vision was blurred due to tears, but she wiped them and continued to concentrate on her stains.After short time, she understood she can control no longer, so she gave up and tears were running on her cheek.

She forgot the time , place, but only remembered chanting the mantra, ''be strong riyu'be strong.''

After some time, she washed her face, cleaned the smudged coal on her eys, and make herself presentable. Then she cleared her throat and went towards outside.

She met with her other ex team member. Chotu nearly suffocated her with a bear hug, while sameer gave her a side hug. She met his wife, aisha, and chatted with her.

The ceremony started, and between lots of laughters and happiness, shree and liza got engaged.riya was genuinely happy for her best friend, and though there was sadness for future, she was happy to be back. She felt that nothing changed, same her chotu shree's chatting, same senior's glares, same discussion about gazette and chotu's remarks, and shree's glares on that'.she felt like home.

After ceremony, she was ready to leave.she cant hold herself any longer, so she said bye to shree, who pouted.

''its jet lag shree'.you know na how I feel after travelling by flight?'' she said and shree gave up. She wished good bye and went outside.

She waited for taxi, but there was none.suddenly she got a call.its from'.raj?

''hello?'' she was surprised.

''hey'its raj.'' He was also feeling weird to call her, but dadi didn't gave a choice.

''yeah? Is there something?''

''I actually called to inform that you all luggage has been shift to my house.''

''what?'' she didn't understand.

''my house in Mumbai. So don't go back to hotel, I am sending car to pick you up.'' He suggested.

''umm'..there was no need to do this.'' Its so awkward to shift someone else's house. But now he is not someone else, he is your soon to be husband, her mind said and her breathing stopped.

''dadi said'..anyways, I am sending a car. Tell me your address.''

''no no'I will manage.'' She argued.

''riya'.no argumenets. Send me your address.'' And he hung up.

She thought for a moment, and then sms him the address of the ceremony.she waited patiently, when she sensed someone was behind her.she turned and stopped breathing again.

''aap?''

Arjun was looking at her intently'.he wanted to bombard her with questions and hug her tight, but he don't have any rights on her.he is the one to reject her, remember?

''tum yahan?'' he asked.

''who'.i am waiting for car.i am leaving.''

His face fell'.leaving already? So soon?

''leaving for house.'' She said to him and his heart again beat. Not leaving city, only leaving for house.

They stood there, silence was talking too much that night.riya composed herself and tried to act her like she used to behave earlier.

''kya party thi na? wow'.and liza was looking so good'..shree is a lucky guy. And omg'.aisha was so sweet'and chotu ne to mujhe maar hi dala tha'.sir don't you think he has put up weight again'.'' She continued to blabber and arjun continued to stare at her. Its been many days he heard her.

''where were you riya?'' he asked. He wanted to ask the other question, why did you leave? But he knew the answer already.

''my house sir''' she said and laughed. A laugh which didn't reach her eyes, but arjun didn't noticed it. She was acting pretty well.

''I asked, where were you? Why didn't you contact all of us? Why did you leave?'' he asked urgently, like his whole life is depended on these questions.and instantly cursed himself.

Her face fell, but she quickly composed herself.'' I was in delhi sir,in my parent's house.and I lost my lappy and phone, so I lost all the contacts.'' She lied, but a bad lie. There was many other way to contact if I wanted, she thought, but could not gather courage to face anyone.''and I leave becoz my mom was hysteric after that bacteria wala incident'.you remember na?'' she said in her chirpy tone, and again her heart stopped. how can she forget that case'..it changed her life, she developed feelings for him after witnessing his care for her'. She misread the concern for a fellow team member as love.

Arjun too froze'of course he remembered that case'he nearly lost her''and after that she confessed her feelings, and he mercilessly broke her heart.

It means, she only left for this? Not becoz I rejected her? He don't know he should feel happy or guilty'.

Is she over me? Is she still in love with me?

There was thousand question ran in his mind, and before he can ask, a car horn snapped his thoughts.

''bye sir'good night'.'' Saying this, she went towards the audi r8 car.the car was vanished after a second or 2.

Its her car? Audi? She belongs to a middle class house, and she has this? No way'. Arjun's calculative mind was back and he looked with disbelief and suspect at the retreating car.

Riya was engrossed in her thoughts, their conversation and him'.he was still the same, too handsome and too perfect, like the last time she saw him'.. her eyes again welled up, but she was too busy to think and too tired to cry now. She didn't know when and how she reached the house, and didn't observe the house too.she just heard someone telling her to go upstairs and 2 nd room is her, and she did the same, and slumped on the big, fluffy bed.she was exhausted with flight and crying, and soon went into sleep.

When she wake up at the morning, she was shocked to find the new surroundings of her'then her mind registered that its her new place for staying.she quickly got up, and have a shower. A maid was ready with her coffee, exactly the same she wanted, milky coffee with minimal suger'..may be Raj has also informed them.

She roam around the house'correction, it's a mansion'5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a big , modern kitchen, a pool, a gym, a library, a big drawing room, conference room at 2^nd floor, a entertainment room with PS3 and 3D tv'it was grand.she suddenly feel homesick'she is not at all used to these things, and in some days, she will be part of it, her life will be around big mansions, classy fast cars, foreign tours and luxurious hotels. She never though in her wildest dream to be part of it, and now she is a part, she is not feeling happy.its just not she don't love the man , its not her'showing off money and spending money in crores'..she is a simple girl with simple happiness.she find happiness in rain, in spending time with friends, she love to help other. She was not used to be this stinking rich, the things come with these'.interviews, parties, socializing with famous persons, faking laugh, showing off what you got'.she will never be. She will lose her identity, and maybe she will never able to be part of it. If things are in her hand, she would have call off this relation, but its just not her.her whole family is depended on her marriage.Raj's father had helped her family in many things, mostly in financial things, and they are very happy to pay off when Raj's dadi wanted Riya's hand for her only child.the family was elated with joy'..joining THE RAGHUVANSHI's '.being a part of it'..but only she was not happy.Raj was a perfect man'.he took good care of her family when needed, and now she is engaged to her, he took this new responsibility. He handled the news of engagement , successfully stopped it to leak in public.he arranged what Riya's favourite in party, took care of her needs. He also book her ticket for business class for a mere Delhi- Mumbai flight, and now shift her luggage in this mansion.he is a good man, loves his Dadi'.but she will never give him the right of husband, nor the love of a life partner. She is destroying his life.

Riya emptied her coffee, and looked around of the new surroundings. This is so new for her, but now she had to get used to all these.

''mam'.'' A voice broke her thoughts. A man of 50 maybe, was standing there.

''hello mam, good morning. I am M.Gupta, your new secretary.now I will be with you till you are staying here. If you want anything, just take my name, and I will be at your service.do you have any plans for the day, mam?''

She was speechless. Secretary? For what?

Then another fit man, dressed in black suit, with a Bluetooth in his ears entered.

''mam, he is RD. your security head.''

Another shock. ''but I don't need these...service and company.'' I mumbled.

''mam, the order is from Mr. Raghuvanshi. We had to be with you 24/7.''

Ok'..i don't know what to feel about it. But I am feeling weird.

''do you have any plans for today, mam?'' gupta again repeated his question.

He is of my father's age, and he is calling me mam? '' please, call me Riya'.''

''sorry mam'we cant call you by your first name.''

Ok''' so Miss Mukherjee?''

The both men nodded. She answered, ''I have no plans till now'I will let you know if I have, ok?''

The both men nodded and left.

She got up from the drawing room couch and looked at outside. Several guards, and may be 50 guards were there around the house, in the lawn, in the poolside, near the front door and entrance gate. There were 3 cars parked outside, the car she came home last night, white one, another black Volvo, and another silver supercar type looking car.(BMW) .now she noticed there are security cameras too.may be in the whole house.

She let out a long sigh'that's how her life is going to be in some months'better get used to it.

Suddenly her phone rang. It was a unknown no.

''hello?''

''hey , Ri, its me Liza.''

A small smile crept on her lips, ''hey hi, good morning.''

''morning'hey will you come with me? For shopping?''

''umm'.''

''its for Him.'' She said like it's a secret.

''sure'when?''

''2 hours from now on? In infinity mall?''

''sure'.''

''should I pick up you?'' Liza suggested.

No way'.'' Na'.i will manage.''

''great! See you soon. Bye, thank you.'' And she hung up.

Again there was another call, this time it was Raj.

''morning.'' His calm, composed and formal voice.

''morning.''

''so, you are feeling comfortable in there?''

''umm..'' not at all, '' these securities and secretary'.''

''they will be with you, always,'' he cut it off'.'' Anything else.''

''no.'' and she hung up, little pissed at him.

She shrugged off her shoulder and busied herself for the plan of shopping with Liza.
