ArMeer OS - Yaaron Dosti Badi Hi Haseen Hai
The flight had just landed. He turned his face, and looked at his friend, who was busy still busy looking out of the window. After 2 long months in USA, away from their wives n kids, they were finally back in India. The flight attendant, came towards their seat and enquired them,
"Sir, should we call for the medical staff for the person sitting next to you?" she asked politely.
He again looked back at his friend,
"Sam..."
Sameer now turned and looked at his friend Arjun.
"Kya huya Arjun?"
"Yeh pooch rahe hain ki agar medical staff bulaye..." Arjun asked Sam.
"Nahi Mam, Thank You..." Sam told the flight attendant with a lil smile on his lips.
The FA returned the gesture.
Few minutes later,
The duo were busy with the checking out procedures, when Sam realized that people were busy looking at him. He looked down and noticed the prosthetic legs which had replaced his natural legs. Arjun who was standing at a distance, turned his face and looked at his friend.
He walked towards his friend,
"Sam sab theek hai na?"
"Arjun...dekh na sab kaise dekh rahe hain..." he replied in a worried tone.
"Oye!" said Arjun, "Tu mera dost Sam hi hai na? Jisne aaj tak kisi ki parwah ni ki...woh logon ki parwah kar raha hai? (giving him a side hug) Abey logon ka kaam hi hai paaglon ki tarah doosron ko dekhna..."
Sam still looked worried.
"Anu kya sochegi?" Sam asked Arjun.
"Kya sochegi kya? Tu kyun tension leta hai Sam...tu bhi na...chal jaldi..." replied Arjun.
3 hours later,
Arjun rang the door bell. It was Riya who opened the door. She smiled and made way for the duo to enter.
Anu had just stepped out of the kitchen, when she noticed the duo. She ran towards Sam and hugged him tightly.
Sam just let her cuddle in his arms, as she cried her heart out. Meanwhile, Arjun motioned Riya to come with him, so that Sanu could get sometime alone.
A few minutes later, Anu stepped back, wiped her tears,
"Aap theek hai?" she asked.
He smiled at her.
"Jab tum mere saath ho toh fikar ki koi baat hi nahi Anu..."
"Sam...don't take this topic lightly..." she spoke in a serious tone.
Sam cupped her face and kissed her forehead,
"Ismein serious ya funny hone waali koi baat nahi hai...Mein thoda thak gaya hunn...rest karne jaa raha hunn..."
Sam left, as Anu looked at him.
Few hours later,
It was nearly 3 p.m., when Aarav, and Dhruv entered the house.
"Mumma..." shouted Aarav and ran into Anu's arms.
"Mumma..." shouted Dhruv and ran into Aarav's arms.
"Aa gaya mera bacha...chalo jaake change karo...aur aake lunch karlo Aarav..." Anu told Aarav.
"Nahi mumma, Pehle aap batao papa aa gaye? Unki legs theek ho gaye?" asked Aarav.
Anu didn't knew what to answer. Truth or lie?
"Papa rest kar rahe hain...ap unse baad mein mil lena...go now..." she said.
"Aur Arjun chachu?" Aarav asked her again.
Anu looked at Riya for an answer. Riya smiled.
"Arjun andar hain...jao jaake mil lo..." said Riya, as the kids ran into Ariya's room.
Inside Ariya's room,
"Papa!" screamed Dhruv.
"Chachu!" screamed Aarav.
"Aa gaye mere sher bache..." said Arjun, as both the boys climbed the bed and ran into Arjun's arms.
"Arjun Chachu...papa ki legs theek ho gaye kya?" Aarav asked Arjun.
"Haan papa, batao na..." Dhruv said.
Even Arjun didn't have an answer.
"Arjun!" screamed Sam and pushed away Arjun.
An hour later,
Fortis Healthcare,
"Aapke friend ka bahut buri tarah accident huya hai Mr.Rawte...we are sorry to inform but aapke friend ki dono taangein, knees ke niche ka hissa to be more accurate, buri tarah damage ho chuka hain..."
Arjun looked here n there to get some idea, but...
"Koi toh tareeka hoga doctor jisse ki woh...woh theek ho sake..." Arjun asked the doctor.
The doctor thought for a while.
"Ik tareeka hai..."
"Kya? Jaldi bataiye!" an impatient Arjun asked the doctor.
"Prosthetic legs? Sunna hai aapne iss baare mein?" the doctor asked.
Arjun nodded in -ve. The doctor then told him as much information as he could.
"So acc. to you we should take him to USA for his treatment?" Arjun asked Doctor.
The doctor nodded in +ve and excused himself.
After a 50 day treatment in USA, the duo were finally back in India. During the last two months, both Sameer and Arjun had experienced a very beautiful and beautiful bond of friendship!

"Papa...batao na..." Dhruv again asked Arjun.
"Sameer ik dum theek hai...chalo aaj mein aapko do best friends ki kahani sunata hunn...theek hai?" Arjun said to the kids.
"Yeah!" the kids screamed in excitement.
"Acha suno...do friends thay...unka naam...chalo ik ko Sameer aur doosre ko Arjun kehte hain! Theek hai? (the kids nodded in +ve) Dono best friends thay...bahut bahut bahut ache dost...dono ik doosre ko pehli baar college mein mile thay...aur pehle hi din dono ache friends bann gaye...dono humesha saath rehte thay...saath mein hi classes attend karte...lunch karte thay...classes bunk karte thay..."
"Hi! Sameer Rathore!" he introduced himself.
"Hello! Arjun Rawte!" the other guys introduced himself.
Both the guys shook hands and passed each other smiles.
Few days later,
College Canteen,
"Oye! Teri turn thi aaj..." Arjun said to Sameer.
"Oh teri! Wallet toh hostel mein hai...aaj udhari karte hain..." Sameer replied.
Few minutes later,
"(Having bite of his Samosa) Vaise woh ladki yaad hai tujhe?" Arjun asked Sam.
"Kaun?" asked Sameer.
"Wohi...curly baalon waali, jispe fida hai tu..." Arjun said.
"Haan...yaad hai..." Sam replied.
"Uska naam Anushka hai..." Arjun said.
"Saale! Tune kahaan se pata kiya?" Sam asked.
"Bas karliya...aur bhi details pata ki hai...par pehle mera kaam kar...uske baad baaki sab bataunga..." Arjun said.
"Hmm...Riya Mukherjee...studying in +1 Commerce..." Sam replied.
Arjun looked at his friend with eyes popped out.
"Kamine! tu bata tune kahaan se pata kiya yeh sab?" Arjun asked Sam.
"(getting up and hitting Arjun playfully on his shoulder) Jis tarah tunhe pata kiya bus ussi tarah...aur jahaan tak sawaal hai Anushka ka...uske baare mein mujhe sab pata hai..." Sam replied as he winked at Arjun.
"Saale!" screamed Arjun and ran behind Sameer.
"Aur aapko pata hai...dono friends apni hone waali wives ko ik doosre ki wajah se hi mile thay...mera matlab Arjun apni wife ko Sameer ki wajah se...aur Sameer apni wife ko Arjun ki wajah se..." Arjun said and noticed the kids, who were listening him with great interest!
"Saale...agar kuch gadbadi huyi na...Arjun sach mein teri taangein tod dunga..." Sameer said.
"Kuch gadbad ni hogi...tension kyun leta hai? Sab theek hoga...bas jaldi jaa aur all d best" Arjun said, as he encouraged his friend.
Few minutes later,
College Garden,
She was standing there. He walked towards her.
"Excuse me..." he said.
She turned and noticed a handsome guy in simple blue kurta and blue denims standing in front of her.
"Kahiye..." she said.
"Woh...yeh lijiye..." he said, as he handed her a book.
"Omg! Meri Chemistry Practical book...yeh toh gaayab hi ho gayi thi...omg thanks so much..." she replied in a happy tone.
"Welcome..." he replied.
"Vaise aapka naam?" she asked him.
"Sameer..." he replied.
"Oh! So you are Sameer Rathore! (stretches her hand) Nice to meet you! Vaise myself Anushka..." she said.
"(shakes hand) Same here..." he replied her with a smile on his lips.
Few hours later,
Hostel,
"Oye kahaan kho gaya..." Arjun said as he waved his hand in front of Sameer's eyes, who seemed to be lost somewhere.
"Haan haan haan...woh mein...(sighs a bit heavily) kuch nahi..." Sam replied.
"Acha...woh dekh Anushka!" Arjun said.
Sameer immediately got up and started looking here n there.
"Kahaan hai?" he asked.
"Hmm...kisi khayalon mein..." Arjun said as he winked at Sam.
Arjun burst into laughter as soon as he was reminded of this scene. How much both of them teased each other.
"Acha baaki story kal..." Arjun said.
"Nahi..." the kids spoke in unison.
"Nahi...baaki story kal sunauga..." Arjun said.
Few minutes later,
Arjun was going through the pictures of his college days.
"Yeh Sam bhi na...koi mauka ni chodta tha Anu ke aas pass jaane ka..." he said.
"Tu bhi toh raat ko girls hostel mein jaake Riya ko milta tha..." Sam said.
Arjun turned and noticed Sam. He walked towards him.
"Koi kaam tha toh mujhe bula leta..." Arjun said.
Sam just shook his head. Arjun was again reminded of a scene.
"Tujhe pata hai...Riya sharara-sharara pe dance karne waali hai..." Sam told Arjun.
Arjun spat out water filled in his mouth.
"Kya baat kar raha hai..." Arjun said.
"Nahi vishwas toh khud Riya ko puchle..." Sam said.
"(giving Sam a side hug) Arey nahi yaar...(smiles) Itna toh trust karta hunn mein tujh pe!" replied Arjun.
"Sam..." said Arjun.
"Bol Arjun..." replied Sam.
"Yaar agar uss din tune mujhe na bachaya hota toh..." said Arjun, as he lowered his face.
"Kya paaglon waali baatein karta hai Arjun..." Sam replied.
"Meri wajah se aaj tu aisi condition mein hai...iss wajah se tujhe pre-mature retirement leni padi...kitna kamina hun mein..." Arjun replied.
"Kamina toh hai tu...usmein koi shak nahi..." Sam replied, as he tried to supress his smile.
"Haww! Teri toh..." Arjun said, as he ran behind Sam to chase him.
