She looked at her side and saw her year old son Rishi, sleeping peacefully.

After speaking to shree and seeing riya's condition, sameer felt he was the root for everything, his blind love was the cause that Arjun was suffering all time.
Without knowledge, he started drifting away from Aisha. He started immersing himself in work, late nights at office, avoiding spending time with her and also in a span of a month he had been to two undercover missions without informing her.
He spent more time helping shree and riya cope with the situation.
Unknowingly he had seen a lil sister in riya. He wanted to protect her from every harm on her.
Shree was observing all this but kept quiet as he felt this would not continue for long.

"I know sam ki main hi sab ki jad hun. If I had not met you guys today you would be friends, jovial people. But because of me...,..
Even you don't care about me or Rishi sam... mujhe avoid karo...theek hai. But Rishi??? Whats his fault sameer? He needs you... a lot..."
Sobs racked her body...

"no mr.Shreekant... aapke brother in law ke condition aisi koi significant changes nahin hai... its as if he does not want to live and come back to senses. We are trying our best"
Shree took a deep breath and asked doctor
"what are the chances that he ll be back??"
"50-50. if he responds, then he ll be back. He is stable. All he needs is a reason to be back"
"thanks doc. Keep me updated"
"sure mr."
Shree sat on chair outside ICU and sighed in defeat. It was one month Arjun was in coma... he was not responding to anything. He did not even know his wife was now pregnant and carrying his blood in her.
Sameer came to him and placed a hand on shree's shoulder.
"sab theek ho jayega bhaiyya. Arjun will be back..."
"kab?? I cant see Riyu like that... she needs him most now..."
"sab meri wajah se ho raha hai bhai... sab kuch..."
Sameer held his head in his palm
Shree went up to him and said
"dekho sameer. Jo ho chukka, we cant change that. Tumhara and Arjun ki dosti tut chuki thi. He struggled to hold on to it.but you did not leave. He is hurt. Till now. And may be that is what is preventing him from accepting life. But in sab mein why are you ruining your life? Aisha and Rishi ko door kyun kar rahe ho??"
"bhai...main kya karun? Mujhe kuch samajh nahin aa raha hai. I love her a lot. More than my life. But whenever I see her I am reminded of what I did to Arjun... I just cannot handle it..."
"and Rishi??? Usse kyun door kar rahe ho tum?! In sab mein uss masoom jaan ki kya gali hai?"
"bhai wo..."
"sameer, I know you want to mend your friendship with Arjun. But that does not mean you should distance yourself from Aisha. Wo bhi kabhi uski dost thi na... Arjun can never be happy seeing both of you like this..."
"I ll try bhai... docs ka kya kehna hai?"
"same... a hope needed. Accha ab raat bohut hogayi hai. Ab tum ghar jao.. Aisha and rishi wait kar rahe honge tumhara... and ha... can I drop riya at your house tomorrow for 2 daays? I am called by kolkata hq for some work. I declined them but they say its quiet necessary. I ll have to go..."
"sure bhai... wo meri bhi behan jaisi hi hai. Even Aisha loves her company. I ll come and pick her tomorrow.."
"no need sam. I ll drop her. You leave now. Even I am going. Good night..."

They hugged and parted for their homes.
Sameer went to his home and silently went to his room. He saw Aisha and rishi sleeping peacefully. Rishi was half lying on Aisha on his tummy. He smiled at the scene and made way to washroom without making noise.
He came out in a loose kurta paijama and crept on the bed. He caressed his baby's face and kissed his forehead lovingly. He was lost looking at sleeping form of his son.
His eyes went to Aisha and he immediately frowned. There were tears stains on her face. He knew what was the reason.
He slowly wiped the tears and placed a warm, loving kiss on each eye and forehead.
"I am soo sorry Aisha... really sorry... I know what I did then was wrong and what I am doing is wrong. I did not want to do it but... I am really sorry... I love you..."
He lay down on his side and a tear escaped from his eye. Aisha opened her eyes and saw her hubby in distress. She knew that he was stressed. He blamed himself for everything. But even she had tried to bring him out of it but failed. He was distancing himself from her.
But she knew now that there would be a new beginning now...

Sameer lay there, staring at the roof. Sleep was no where near him. How could it be? Every day, every moment he was living in guilt.

"Sam... sam jaldi aaja neeche... sammm.."
"kya hua Arjun?! Kyun chilla raha hai tu?"
"jaldi aa na... mujhe na tujhe kuch dena hai..."
"kya dena hai tujhe?"
"chal na mere bhai..."
They both went to arjun's study room and Arjun brought a beautiful album out. It was very heavy, made of wooden planks, decorated by numerous colorful flowers. The front cover had a smiling pic of sarjun.
"ye le... ye mine banaya hai. Tere liye. Always go on adding our pics in that. Till we are together, just go on adding pictures... it ll be a proof of our friendship" Arjun handed that to sameer and settled on sofa in the room.
"Arjun, when you are here always with me, why do I need an album??? But I must say. You have magic in your hands. I can't even imagine making something like this from my hands... its awesome Arjun..."
"sam, I am with you today..may be tomorrow and be years after that. But there will be a day when I will not be with you and you are reminded of me. That day you ll know the importance of this album..."
"aisa din kabhi nahin aayega."
"dekhenge..."

Tears made way down his eyes and with a jolt he got up from bed and moved towards store room. He searched for that album hoping he did not throw it out years ago in anger.
He saw a hand holing that album in front of him
"sam, kahi aap ye to nahin dhoond rahe the?"
"Aisha..."
"kam se kam mujhse to door mat jao sam, apna dard mat chupao... I know it is hurting you a lot..."
Sam silently took the album and made his way out. Aisha followed him, knowing that she had to be with him no matter what.
They settled in living area and sam opened the album
"pata hai Aisha, Arjun himself made this album covers... he had gifted this artistic piece when we were just 14... it has beautiful memories we shared before I broke our friendship...
He cared for me like a brother, always with me... but what did I do? Just threw him out of my life as a piece of thrash...
How could I do that Aisha???"
"sam... isme sirf aapki galti nahin thi. Meri bhi utni hi galti thi... agar uss din main uss se aise baat naa karti to shayad..."
"no Aisha... it was me who was wrong... it was me who started getting jealous about his success... me who blamed him... you know, I had never seen him so sad and hurt before we met in ETF... He was not this depressed jab usne aai-baba ki chita ko aag di thi... he was strong because he had me, mom and dad... but I broke him into pieces... just with my words..."
He hugged Aisha and cried his heart out... he held to him patiently. She patted his back and caressed his head by running her fingers through his hairs.
"sam... aap meri ek baat maanenge?"
He just nodded in yes, without lifting his head from the warmth of her chest.
"sam, Arjun ki haalat to aap jaante hai. Pata nahin wo kab hosh mein aayega. But we ll mend our broken friendship with him. we definitely will... I know him, he still cares for us sam... warna wo uss din aap chalayigayi goli ko khud pe nahin leta... we still have hope..."
"kya wo mujhe maaf karega Aisha???"
"I am sure he will... we will not give him a chance to be offended by us anytime..."
She wiped his tears and placed a kiss on his forehead.
Sameer slowly spoke
"wo...aisha... kal Shree bhai riya ko yahan chod rahe hai. He is going to kolkata so riya will stay with us.. I said yes. Tumhe koi aitraaz to nahin hai na?"
"kaise baat kar rahe ho sam? Mujhe kyn aitaaz hoga? She is the one who is filling void in jun's life... trying to erase the dark memories we gave and filling them with colours...she needs jun most now but... we ll be there for her now sam... she is like a lil sis to you so to me... I ll take care of her... Arjun ke liye hum itna to kar hi sakte hai na..."
She patted him and got up.. she felt a tug and turned back to sam.
"I am sorry..." he was on his knees, head bent and was holding her hand..."I am sorry I ignored you... I am sorry I did not spend time with you and rishi.. I am sorry ki..."
He was cut short when Aisha held her palm against his mouth and nodded her head in negative. She just hugged him tight and said
"no worry sam.. it was just a temporary phase..."

She ran her hands lovingly in his hair.
"Arjun, ab aap jaldi se theek ho jao... main aur aapki princess, dono aap ka intezaar kar rahe hai... we love you a lot..."
Riya kissed his forehead and left to sam's house with Shree.

Trip of two days was dragged for a week. Riya stayed at sam's place and was well taken care of. She bonded very well with Aisha and rishi .
On day, during her stay
"riya, kyat um mujhpe gussa nahin ho ki meri baatei hi aaj Arjun ki iss haal ka zimmedaar hai?"
"no Aisha... I don't. yes. What you did was wrong, so was sam bhai. Par, I ll not blame you. Cos it was circumstances with led to those events and to today's events... no one is to blame. Arjun bhi yahi maante hai Aisha. He is not angry with anyone"
"agar wo naraaz nahin hai to uth ra kyun nahin hai?"
"bus wo hum sab ko tease kar rahe hai Aisha... he will be back with a bang..."

Months passed by, arjun's condition was better, but was still in coma.
Riya's delivery date was very close and all were tensed about it.
Sameer was assigned for a mission, which he had unwillingly accepted. He was associated by Shree.
Aisha was with riya, looking after her.
"Aisha, mujhe aisa kyun lag raha hai ki aaj kuch bohut bada hone waala hai?"
"riya, shaadyad tumhari beti iss duniya ko dekhna ke liye utavli ho rahi hai aur kuch nahin. Relax yaar"
Aisha ne ye keh to diya, but even she was feeling the same.
"riya tum rest karo. Mein tumhare liye juice leke aati hun..thik hai?"
"yap...fine by me..."
Aisha was in kitchen preparing juice. She was simultaneously trying to contact Sam. She suddenly heard a loud shriek.
"Riya..."
She ran upstairs immediately and saw Riya clutching her tummy and crying in pain. She got that it was the time.
She immediately took the bag and held rishi as well supported riya to car. She strapped her to passenger seat and rishi to baby seat at the back and started towards hospital. She informed doctor about their arrival and then called Shree and informed him too.
"riya, few more minutes dear. We are almost to hospital... hold on baby...just few more minutes..."
Soon they reached the hospital and she was taken to operation theatre.
She was waiting anxiously and she received a call.
"hello..."
"Aisha...main hun. Suno. Yahan condition bohut kharab hai. Don't worry I am safe...so is shreee...
Riya kaisi hai? Sab theek hai na?"
Aisha moved to arjun's room and stood next to him.
"haan sam.. she is in OT. I was on time... be safe..."
"Aisha... *gun shot* aaahhh""
"SAMEEERRR"
Aisha turned around and saw a shaken Arjun sitting on the hospital bed...
"DOCTOR... ARJUN KO HOSH AAGAYA HAI..."
"sam, Arjun is back... aap theek to ho na???"
"yeah. Just shot at my arm. Shree bhai got him down... wait... kya kaha tumne Arjun is up??? I am comig..."
He disconnected the phone and Aisha went near Arjun and hugged him.
"thank God Arjun you are back. Itna din koi satata hai kya? Sab ki jaan nikal di thi tu ne..."
She heard was a deep, hoarse voice of eagerness, hurt, pain
"ai..aisha... sam... sam is in trouble. He is. I saw... where is he now? He may need my help..."
"shhh... he is fine... just shot. He is coming here... please don't panic..."
Just then doctors entered and started checking him.
And suddenly another lady doc and a nurse entered
"mam...aap yahan ho? Congrats... aapki sis in law ko beti hui hai... arre... ye to unke husband hai na... congrats mr... you are a proud dad of a daughter..."
Aisha thanked her and she felt.
Arjun all confused
"mera baccha??!!!!"
"haan Arjun... jis waqt you went into coma, riya was pregnant but could not tell you. You are up almost after 6 months... bechari riya..."
"I am a dad..." he whispered...
"Arjun..." came a voice from door. He turned and saw sameer and shree a the door...
Sam came and hugged him...
"Arjun... thank God you are back. We all missed you..."
"did you miss me sam?!" he asked hopefully.
"yes gadhe. Aage aisa kuch bhi mat karna. Warna main aur princess milke umhari aisi dhulai karenge ki...samjhe ya samjhau???!"
Arjun chuckled but suddenly coughed.
"sambhalke Arjun... Arjun, we are sorry... really sorry. We should not have had behaved liked that with you... hume maaf kardo yaar..."
"uss baat ko bhul jao sam, Aisha... beeti baton ko yaad karne se koi faida nahin hai... jo hota hai acche ke liye hota hai sam... warna I would *cough* not have got riya in my life... we are friends right?"
"yes hamesha..." they all hug. Suddenly
"khote, you are bleeding. Doc *cough* pls iska dressing kar dijiye..."
"I am fine..."
"dekh raha hun... chup chaap baith yahan. Ye mat bol ki ETF ka chief aaj bhi injection and needle se darta hai..."
"arjunnn..."
They all laughed and yet again a person stood there, silently, smiling at them...

After 2 days Arjun was allowed to meet the lil baby. He held his little princess in his hand, riya by his side.
"sorry riya ki I was not there when you needed me most..."
"no Arjun... don't say that. Please..."
He kissed her forehead and then baby's forehead. Baby cutely smiled at him
"ye dekho... she has same dimple as you..."
"eyes aap ki tarah hai Arjun..."
"thanks riya you gave the world's best happiness..." he side hugged her.
Suddenly sam, Aisha rishi and Shree entered.
"sorry to disturb but we had to. Today all of us are going home, and you ll be resting Arjun." Said sameer...
"thik hai. But..."
"you are coming with me to my home..."
"no dsm bhsi... we ll manage"
"I did not ask riya.i told you... tumhare pati ki bhasha mein samjhi ya...samjhau?"
Aisha piped in
"princess ka naam kya socha?"
"sochna kya hai Aisha???!!! Meri babu ka naam Ariya hoga... bas"
"bahu sam...?????!!!!!"
"yeah... ariya and rishi. Perfect. Aise humari dosti bhi pakki hai, ab rishteaari mein badalgi. Promise me Arjun. Ariya ki shaadi rishi se hogi..."
"I promise bhai ki Ariya Arjun Rawte ki shaadi Rishi Sameer Rathod se hi hogi.
"yeah sam. I promise... ab kya mujhe mere damaad ko uthane doge???"
Sameer laughing along with him passed grinning Rishi to Arjun...
From then new photographs were added to the album, that Arjun had gifted to sameer...
