well after yesterday's episode, i have been a bit shocked for a numerous reasons:
1) i have very earlier posted lots of things where i said that most of Arjun's episodes were mainly based on extra-marital affairs, and the woman is the criminal... and like Vidya said yesterday's episode was a bit too much😭
2) Since the start Rathore has always been a caring chief, and a person, he always think with the option of saving a woman, like we saw when he saved Aisha and of course when he actually lowered his gun for Manuja😳- I'm proud of him😳
3) And well from the first episode, Arjun had changed a lot, he had mellowed down a lot, and he had really integrated the team, but in yesterday's episode, it was as if we were again back to start, the coldness and indifference he had towards Aisha...
I was hoping that he actually cared for his team members, but he appeared so uncaring, even when Rathore was hurt...
So the basic question is, is there much difference between this Arjun and the initial Arjun?
or has Arjun again closed himself completely after he couldnt save Riya???
Or is it that he really doesnt care anymore after losing Roshni?
Last time he gambled with his life, yesterday he gambled with Aisha's life...
Intuition is perhaps the best the thing about Arjun, but does that justify his ways of doing things???
😕

Tina amazing post...agree with all ur three points
1)yes its true nearly 80%cases we had women as criminals...The women having extra marital affairs was also common...last epi was unbelievable...I was excited that it will be something related to smuggling wood or animal skin...but it came out to be a simple murder...n the line...Yeh dawai nahi balki kisi aur ki meherbani ki wajah se hai...was really too much...
They should rather show some real thrill like preventing a big robbery ..arms trafficking...betting...but if they want to show women related stories they can show female infanticide..ammniocenticis...or where women are burnt or beaten to death by men for dowry...or something like child abuse...rather then this SaaS bahu type thing...
2)ACP rathore is a thorough gentleman always supportive of his team...he cares for women so much..the way he wiped off black tika from the girls forehead or how he saved Aiesha or how he was weeping for riya...he is a true leader...He even prevented arjuns suspension when he bested that pathan...
3)As far as ACP Arjun is considered he looked like the arjun we met in first epi...it seems he is back to square one...he has become more cold...even his best friends cry could make a crease of care on his forehead...his expressions remained unaltered...he was a little bit soft towards riya...but with her death he stopped being emotionally attached to a fellow team member...we can here give him benefit of doubt...they say
as a means of shielding themselves from
the bad people in the world. In the
process, the good people in the world are
also denied. However, if you get to know
these people, then they probably aren't
that bad...

PS its just my pov...didn't want to hurt anybody..sorry if hurt somebody

Yeah you've pointed out well.. Thats a right question.. For me, theres no much diff between initial Arjun n present Arjun. The only diff is- he lost one more girl Riya who he cared for (though he didnt love her). He failed to save her,it was second time for him.. So this time the pain (maybe) doubled turned him back to square one, Once again his Coldness and indifference back.

but what scares me is his way of doing things:( maybe his intuition works well for him. Maybe he is right at some things.. But not always.. What if it backfires him.. He is not only taking his own life at risk but also others.. What if it turns other way round.. What if that guy killed Ayesha? What would Arjun hav done then?
one can have confidence but over confidence?

Edit: sorry if i dnt make any sense.. The above post nailed it well especially abt Rathore and Arjun..

In most of the cases shown off late, there is always a smaller picture which hides within the bigger picture and solving the case always means ETF or rather Arjun picking up clues and separating the camouflaged small picture from the larger one...

yesterday's was a typical example...poachers and illegal killing and smuggling of forest animals and their products was a bigger picture but then it narrowed down to a extramarital affair of the killed person's wife!

In every other episode, there is a mention of atleast one extramarital affair of either the wife or husband...thats slightly hurting and disturbing atleast to people like me who completely believes and trusts the institution of marriage as holy and sacred!

And as far as Arjun is considered, yes he seems to have become more cold and his expressions at times really denote that!
i dont know if thats a deliberate effort from the CVs or is it just a coincidence that we feel so!

No,no Tina dear! You have completely misinterpreted Arjun's intention while he was dealing with that poacher.A man who puts his life in danger for persons completely unknown to him will not have concern for his team member?Actually it was exactly his way of calling that man's bluff that saved Aisha's life.Arjun saved Aisha's life yesterday. In moment of extreme danger like the one ETF found itself at that point its of utmost importance that no weakness be shown to an enemy otherwise they will latch on it & lives might be lost. What if the poacher had dragged Aisha deeper into the woods at gun point? It was a jungle terrain completely unknown to ETF.You just have to note
how he dropped his gun the very next moment Arjun displayed his "uncaring" attitude. The aim was to get Aisha off the hook as hostage & Arjun got exactly that without wasting precious time.
Even in your previous post about him risking his life seemingly unnecessarily I wanted to say that it reflects exactly that.He wants to save as many innocents as possible by any means necessary. He has said several times that they are police officers sworn to protect the good & the innocent & destroy evil.He can't be behaving like a common man displaying emotions which will be perceived as weakness by the enemy & be used to kill & destroy more.
But he doesn't display it does not mean he does not feel it,Tina. The bane of Arjun Raute's life is that he cares too much.

Hey Tina Di...
I totally agree with the first two points...
but the third one...i really dont think so...

Showing extra marital affairs once in a while is ok...but in most of the episodes, we have been witnessing crimes related to the same...and now it is too much I feel...
It was really very disturbing after yesterday's episode...
There are many other social issues which need attention...
Like Samiya Di pointed out...

Regarding Rathod, I would say, he is the best chief ever, and no one could be better than him!
He really cares for each and every team member, may it be Arjun...like in earlier episodes when he did not have that soft corner for his friend...he did care for him!
He is the true gentlemen, and the way he lowered his gun even for Manuja, it was really impressive!

As far as Arjun and his behaviour in yesterday's episode is concerned, I feel that was just because he wanted to divert that poacher's attention from Aisha to himself!
I did not feel he was indifferent towards her...or rather towards anyone..
Infact i think it was his brains at that time, that saved Aisha and Sameer...

I feel, Arjun has definately mellowed down since first episode, but he is again back to square one...no...i dont think so...
Yup, Riya's death has caused some changes in his character, we can say, the guilt of not able to save two women in his life, although Riya was not really his love, but he had a soft corner for her, since Ariya was there from the beginning!

And regarding risking his own life, Its may be because that is the way he is!
Like Zuby Di said, police officer who has sworn to protect the good and destroy evil!
He cares for others, also his team members!
In that Painter's death episode, he risked his own life, but told rathod to go out...why...becuase he cared for his friend!
and yesterday, was just the same...He saved both of them, here, using his brains rather than strength!

This is just my POV..no offence intented!

Yes Tina it seemed as Arjun was lot colder and indifferent then usual
Here is what I think, I think that one of the artcile mentioned when the 50th episode was aired and the first Arjun/Rathore FB, that from here on each episode will be crucial in revealing some of their past.
The episode where you really see Arjun in most pain is the one related to woman, Marriage or anything that reminds him of Roshni so I think most cases are also coming out like that.
Another thing Tina, I think Arjun is hiding his pain and guilt of not being able to save Riya, because in one way or another she had touched him and so he may have closed himself off from everyone.
In yesteday's episode he did jump to get Chotu and Shree out of harms way so the part with Aisha confused me a bit but I think he knew what type of criminal he was dealing with so he took the risk that he did, but it was a very big risk for sure.
To conclude let's just say the episode left me lot of questions and no answers.😕

hey di..i loved this topic..i too was shocked to hear what arjun said that aisha was justa team mate...but just then i thought that he was just beng protective coz to whomever he showed affectin, was taken away from him...like roshini, riya too..and i think now he has become somewhat apprehensive in showing any emotions...jab rathore ko teer laga tha...i thought he will kill the person but all he did was threaten him!...

but yes there are much more differences from teh initial arjun and the arjun of now...

he has been stubborn with rathore but now he seems to agree on many things.

but yes as they say...i too feel that arjun is very much concentrating on affairs and women criminals...i dont know why...but still...i love arjun as a whole..i cant comment on changing it but i would surely like to see some new twists and turns...

thanks Samiya😳
I had to say this, i dont know but yesterday i didnt like the way Arjun spoke, it wasnt like just a bluff, he really meant those words from his face😭
that's why it's as since nothing changed in him all these 50 episodes

and yep it would have been a very good episode had it been solely on paochers and illegal hunting, but yet again another extra-marital affair😭

and i agree from what you are saying for Arjun, maybe he's just hiding his true feelings...
well let's hope so, because Aisha didnt even think for one second, neither that she was spoiling her 6 months undercover job, to save Arjun
and now hearing such words from his mouth, it was a bit too much, but then maybe it's the CVs who are doing us to confuse us even more with the Arisha and Raesha thing😕

thanks dear for agreeing to some points
throughout all these episodes,i felt that he was mellowing down, but yesterday it was as if it was all pointless thinking on my part😭

yep that's what i'm trying to say, he works a lot on intuition, but is it enough to risk other people's life😕
